I know I said this next chapter would be about Icy and Slipstream's date, but change of plans, instead I have a Halloween themed chapter. Hope you enjoy it.
I don't own Transformers, Animated, Prime, or otherwise.
Everyone in the town knew of the house that the Blitzwing brothers lived in, and not just because the teenagers living in the house by themselves were trouble makers. Before the Blitzwing's, no one had lived in that house for many, many years, nobody was brave enough to. For the Blitzwing house was haunted, very haunted.
When the boy's parents left to go help out in the war that was going on they sent their sons off to another town and told them to find a place to live there…their parent's weren't ever the over-protective worried type. Anyways, the boys found a house that they were interested in buying, but everybody was against it. The whole town started telling the boys how haunted the place was and that it was cursed and all sorts of stuff like that.
Of course, nothing anyone said would change the boy's minds, in fact, the more they heard how haunted the house was the more they all wanted to live in it. Icy wanted to find for himself if the house really was haunted. Hothead was determined to live in the house just because everyone told him not to. Random was ecstatic to be living in a haunted house, what could be better then communicating with spirits? (Which Random could actually do, had done so multiple times, which is why people first started thinking he was a little nuts.)
Random always liked the house, but living in a haunted house became so much more enjoyable in October, when people were already a little on edge, even if they didn't know it themselves. So it wasn't any surprise to the Blitzwing's and Starscream's when Random started acting a little differently once October started. Even Breakdown and Knockout weren't too concerned, that is, until it was a few days before Halloween and Random was acting crazier then ever.
For the past few days Random and Dirge had been redecorating the whole house. This was weird enough, but they also weren't allowing anyone but themselves, Ramjet, and Slipstream to even enter the house. Icy and Hothead weren't even allowed in and had been spending the nights at the Starscream house, and they found this completely normal.
Finally it was Halloween, and everybody was excited for that night. Starscream, Thunder, Hothead and Icy were taking Sunstorm, Thrust and Skywarp trick-or-treating, and they had all insisted that Knockout and Breakdown come with them.
"You don't even have to dress up in a stupid costume," Starscream says.
"Ja, jou just have to come and enjoy zhe show." Hothead tells them. Finally they convince Breakdown and a very reluctant Knockout to join them that night. At about Six that evening the group was ready to leave, but they were stopped by Random.
"Oh, I'm glad jou haven't left yet," Random says, "I completely forgot somezhing." Random then moves closer to Knockout and says "Jou, Knockout, are not going trick-or-treating tonight."
"He's not coming with us?" Sunstorm says, as shocked as anyone else was.
"Oh no," Random says, grinning wickedly, "Knockout is joining me tonight." Everyone was even more surprised by this. Icy was the first to recover from the shock.
"Jou are zhe boss," Icy says, "So vhatever jou say goes."
"right, vell, ve must go now." Random says, "And so must jou. Make sure jou remember zhe rules; at least von young child, no repeats, no trouble makers, and absolutely no adults."
"Ve know the rules, Random." Hothead says, "Ve have done zhis before."
"Jou may have done zhis before," Random says, "but I assure jou, it vill be better zhen ever, ve are pulling out all zhe stops zhis year."
Icy became a little anxious when he heard that last comment. "Vait, all zhe stops? Jou can't seriously be considering doing zhat." Icy says. Random ignores his older brother, meaning he was seriously considering doing whatever it was that he had planned.
"Ve'll see jou in a few hours." Random says as he drags Knockout back to the Blitzwing house.
"Random, what exactly is going on here?" Knockout asks as they reach the front door of the house.
Random looks at Knockout and says "Ve have turned my house into a haunted house. It all started two years ago, vhen kids kept on scaring Skyvarp, just for fun. Ve all got tired of it, so ve decided to give zhose bullies zhe scare of a life time. Ve had so much fun doing zhat zhat ve have been doing it ever since. Most every one else lures a group kids to our house, vhile me, Dirge, Ramjet, and Slipstream terrify zhem. Zhis year, I've decided to let jou join our little scaring group."
Random then opens the front door and says "Velcome, Knockout, to zhe realm of the dead." Random and Knockout enter the house, and the door slams shut behind them.
Meanwhile, back with the trick-or-treaters, the group had left the Starscream house and was heading down the streets, looking for an appropriate group. They knew it was a little early for many people to be around, but they need to start early, after all, it's difficult to find a group that matched Random's demands. However, they didn't need to look for long, for the perfect group had found them.
It was a decent sized group, two teenagers, and about six younger children, ages nine to twelve. It was one of the teenagers that had caught Hothead's attention. He didn't go to their school, but he still looked very familiar. When the teenager spotted the Starscream group he grinned and led his group over to them.
"Long time no see," the teenager says to Hothead, then to one of the smaller children, which was his younger brother, he said "I went trick-or-treating with these guys a few years ago, they're cool."
Now Icy remembered, they had gone trick-or-treating with him before. This teenager (Rustle, his name was,) was Hothead's age, but lived out of town. He and his siblings always came to this town for Halloween to visit a relative or something. He had told them all this when they'd met.; sure it had been a few years since they'd seen him, but that didn't matter. They weren't about to let the perfect group out of their hands.
So the two groups joined together for the next few hours; the teenagers watched the younger kids go from door to door, and occasionally took some of their candy. Finally, after what feels like forever, the large group finds themselves at the Blitzwing house. Sunstorm, Thrust and Skywarp could hardly contain their excitement; true, going to this house meant the end of trick-or-treating for the night, but they knew that the fun was just beginning, and they couldn't wait to see what Random had in store for them this year.
Okay, wow, I was not planning for this story to be two parts; I was only going to have it be one…oh well. Anyways, I'm excited about this story, and I hope you enjoyed the first half. Oh, and in case anyone's wondering why three children were able to buy a house by themselves, well, I can't explain it for you, maybe their parent's helped or something. So for now let's just accept the fact that they were able to do it because I said so, I think it sounds like a good reason. Anyways, read on.
