Alright, here is the chapter about what the little kids are doing while the older kids are either on a date or spying on the people on the date.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy this chapter.

"Hothead, jou are not zhe boss of me." Random whines to his older brother. Icy groans, not even trying to hide his annoyance from his brothers. Ever since Random had turned twelve he'd been trying to convince Hothead that he wasn't a little kid anymore, but Hothead refused to listen. He tended to think that since Random was the youngest and liked to have fun meant that he wasn't responsible. Icy knew otherwise, but he wasn't about to butt into their argument, his brothers could sort it out for themselves if they wanted to.

"I am zhe oldest, zhat means zhat I am zhe boss of jou." Hothead retorted angrily. Icy rolls his eyes and leaves the house. He didn't have to leave for his date with Slipstream for another two hours or so, but he wasn't about to stand around while his brothers argue. He didn't want to join their stupid disagreement, but he really didn't want to listen to this anymore. They both needed to grow up.

Random watches as Icy leaves the house. "Hey, Hothead, Icy left already." Random informs his older brother.

"Vhat? Already?" Hothead says, snapping his head around to confirm that their brother had indeed left. "Agh, come on, let's go." With that said Hothead drags Random out of the house and they head for the Starscream house.

"Vhy are ve going to zeir house?" Random asks his older brother. Hothead hadn't told either of his siblings that he was going to be spying on Icy and Slipstream, so Random was completely in the dark.

"I'm going out today and jou are not staying home by jourself." Hothead says as they get to the house and head for the back door. Hothead puts his hand over his younger brothers mouth to stop the protests that the twelve year old was about to voice. Slipstream had just left the house and the last thing they needed was for her to hear Random and discover them hiding behind the house. A minute after she left Hothead knocked on the back door, informing the Starscream siblings that they were there.

Thundercracker opens the door and lets the two in. The older kids all go into the next room and Random follows them for curiosities sake.

"Come on, let's go," Starscream says, "We're going to lose them."

"Hang on, we're not going anywhere until we decide who's going to stay here with the little kids." Thundercracker says. Starscream grumbles, but doesn't disagree straightout. None of them wanted to stay behind and babysit, that wasn't any fun. Random comes up with an idea.

"Oh, vhy don't I stay, I'll keep an eye on zhe little kids for jou." Random suggests excitedly. Thundercracker and Hothead looked at him like he was crazy (which he was).

"Are jou nuts?" Hothead says, "If I'm not going to let jou stay home by yourself, vhat makes jou zhink ve'll let jou keep an eye on not just jourself, but on ozhers too?"

"Hothead, zhat's not fair." Random whines, "jou say I'm not responsible, but jou von't give me zhe chance to show jou zhat I am."

Before Hothead can react Starscream adds in "He's got a point you know. Why can't we leave him here with the brats?"

"He's barely older zhen zhey are." Hothead says.

"Then call Breakdown and ask if he can supervise." Starscream says. "We get to leave, Random get's to show he's responsible, but he's not here by himself. Everyone wins." Hothead thinks for a second then grudgingly agrees. They call Breakdown and he agrees to come over, just as long as they let Knockout spy on Icy and Slipstream with them.

A few minutes later, when Breakdown and Knockout get to the house, the older kids leave to go on their spy adventure, leaving the younger kids alone in the house. Random grins and turns to face the other kids. Finally, he gets a chance to prove to his brother that he can take care of himself...and others. Dirge, Sunstorm, and Thrust look back at him, all looking like they usually did. Skywarp though seemed really upset. He was just sitting on the floor, staring sadly at the wall. Random pulls Dirge aside and asks him what's up.

"Oh, nothing serious." Dirge says, rolling his eyes. "The kid's just upset because some guys at school called him a coward. He's been moping around for a few days now, it's driving me nuts. None of us know how to knock him out of it." Random thinks for a second before coming up with a genius idea, the perfect way to help Skywarp.

"Hey guys, do jou vant to play a game?" Random asks them.

"What game?" Dirge asks.

"A make believe game, like ve used to play vhen ve vere little." Random says. Dirge rolls his eyes and starts complaining that they're too old for games like this.

"zhat's okay, jou don't have to play." Random says with a mischievous look in his eyes. "I'll get somevon else to play zhe king."

"I know what you're trying to do, but why would I want to play the king?" Dirge asks.

"Because zhis king owns everyzhing, and I mean everyzhing in zhe kingdom." Random says with a grin.

Dirge thinks for a second before saying "I guess that's not as lame as it sounds." Dirge then runs quickly to the comfiest chair in the house and sits on it.

"This is my throne, no one else can have it." Dirge says, already getting into the feel of the game.

"That's not fair." Thrust whines, "Why does he get to be the king who owns everything? I want to be the king."

"Oh, vell zhat's perfect," Random says, "Because zhere is a lord in zhis story who vants everyzhing zhat zhe king has. The two of zhem are about to start zhis huge battle because of it."

Dirge and Thrust look at each other for a minute before Dirge says "The whole house is the kingdom, and I own everything in the kingdom. You can't have any of it."

"Not everything in the house is yours." Thrust says, "like Thundercracker's favorite sweater, that's not yours."

"Yes it is!" Dirge yells. He runs out of the room to take Thundercracker's sweater for himself. Thrust takes advantage of his absence to sit on the 'throne' himself. When Dirge comes back into the room wearing Thundercracker's sweater and see's Thrust on his 'throne' he gets mad and tackles his younger brother to the ground. The two of them start wrestling with each other while the others just watch.

"Wow, those two are so good at this game," Sunstorm says, "It's almost like they're not playing a game at all."

"That's because I don't think they are." Breakdown says. The teenager turns to Random and says "So is this part of your plan? To get those two to fight over everything in existance?"

"That's part of it." Random says. "But the story isn't over yet."

"It's not?" Skywarp asks.

"How does the rest of the story go?" Ramjet asks.

"Well, with zhe king and zhe lord alvays fighting and hording everyzhing, zhe rest of zhe people in zhe land vhere suffering." Random says. "So zhere vas von brave, young hero who decided to try to fix things."

"Who's going to be the hero?" Skywarp asks.

"Jou are." Random says.

"I am?" Skywarp asks.

"He is?" Breakdown asks, just as shocked as the kid was.

"Jah, he is." Random says.

"What am I supposed to do?" Skywarp asks.

"Vell, jou just have to talk to zhe king and lord, easy." Random says as he grabs some cushions off the couch and put them on the floor between them and the boys wrestling. "but, to get zhere jou have to cross zhis pit full of poison." Random says, gesturing to the cushions.

Skywarp looks terrified, "How am I supposed to do that?"

"It's okay, I know you can do it." Sunstorm says, "I'll even go with you."

Breakdown stands with Random and watches as Sunstorm tries to get Skywarp to cross the poison cushions.

"Okay, so this is the second part of your plan...so, what good does it do?" Breakdown asks the twelve year old. "And why does the kid think the cushion is going to kill him?"

"Oh, because Skyvarp has a very active imagination," Random says, "in his head things seem different zhen zhey really are. Zhis is vhy he's scared a lot, because he sees scary things all over zhe place zhat aren't actually zhere."

"And let me guess, you're trying to help the paranoid kid overcome his imaginative fears by incorporating them in a 'game'." Breakdown says. "Not a bad plan, if it works."

"Oh, it vill, he has Sunstorm to help him." Random says.

And indeed Sunstorm was helping Skywarp. With Sunstorm's encouragement, Skywarp was able to cross not only the poison river cushions, but also other things, including adventuring in a dark cave in a closet and a jungle in the kitchen, and a couple of other things that Random threw their way. Finally they got to where their brothers were wrestling on the ground.

"Dirge, Thrust, stop fighting." Skywarp tells them. But if the boys heard him they didn't acknowledge him. Sunstorm tries to convince his brothers to stop, telling them that they were both better than this, but he doesn't do any better than Skywarp did. Dirge pushes Thrust, almost making him run into Skywarp. After that the little hero runs upstairs for apparently no reason.

"Huh, guess your hero's not as brave as you wanted him to think." Breakdown says. The teenager however was wrong because a minute later the boy comes running down the stairs again with something in his hands.

"Dirge, Thrust, stop!" Skywarp tells his brothers, stepping in the way of their fighting.

"Why should I, he wants to take my stuff." Dirge says.

"This can't all be his, that's not fair." Thrust says.

Skywarp merely holds up the things in his hands, two candy bars, one with nuts and one without. "If you two stop fighting and make peace for the land then you can each have one." Skywarp says. The boys eye the candy, look at each other, then back to the candy.

"Deal." They both say at the same time as they each snatch one of the candy for themselves.

Breakdown blinks, "How did that work?" he asks. "I'd think that Dirge would want them both, or Thrust would rather have Dirge's."

Random smiles, "In most cases zhat vould be true, but not when it comes to zhis. Dirge is very allergic to nuts and Thrust only likes chocolate if it does have nuts, so it vorks out."

"Huh, how did Skywarp figure that out?" Breakdown asks.

"Oh that's easy," Skywarp answers, "Thrust and Dirge fight all the time, this is the only way to get them to stop."

"Wait, does this mean the game is over?" Thrust asks.

"Vell, ve can play somezhing else." Random says.

"Good," Dirge says, "I'm upset with you playing us like multiple violins, so you're it." Dirge then tags Random and runs off and so do the other kids. Random laughs and starts chasing after them. When Sunstorm tags Breakdown he even joins in the game, until the older kids get home and drag Breakdown away from the game. A few minutes after that Thundercracker comes up to Random

"So we leave you to be in charge and we come home to find the house trashed. And my younger siblings are playing with my stuff, which I would normally be very angry about. But you did also get Skywarp to stop moping around, which is something that even I couldn't do, so thank you, I guess." Thundercracker says, "Oh, and Hothead is a little busy trying to kill Knockout to say this, but for the record, I think that, in your own way, you're a little responsible when you want to be."

Random grins and then runs back in to join the game of tag, which was now even more crazy than before now that there were other kids to dodge and hide around. So maybe Hothead didn't think he was responsible, but Thundercracker did, and that was better then nothing.

Okay, that chapter was very randomly written, and also a lot longer than other chapters. Basically what happened is Random proved he's responsible to Thundercracker by tricking Skywarp into being brave...yeah, that's basically it. I would have written it better, but, I don't know, it wasn't wanting to be good. The next chapter will be better, with brotherly bonding between Icy and Hothead.
