AUTHOR'S NOTE: Wow, yeah, been a long time. I can't really pin it on anything this time but my laziness, not gonna sugar coat it. Anyways I'm back hopefully for god, I'm going to TRY for good but I can't predict the future. Anyways on other things YES I HAVE A PROOF READER FOR MY FANFICTION, no more stupid lazy grammatical errors like before, anyways on to the next "adventure" in Lewa City.
Quartz tried to have a perfect night's sleep in the hotel he checked into that night, however he was constantly haunted by that pact he made and what his dad would say if he found out, and if one of those things his dad taught him came down to "take him away"
In the beginning of Quartz' life in his first year of life, Quartz' father was involved in a criminal gang, he had an important role in it too, it never went anything past a minor league gang. However that didn't mean they weren't in the news, or almost caught. They became briefly notorious a couple of times, however over that time Quartz' father, Nathan, had his heart change, he no longer found his gang's activities "fun" or "necessary for his life to work" he left in a slightly dramatic faction and now that he knew of what pain and suffering he brought to others and he vowed not to let his son sink down into that life, so he constantly taught him the wrongs of a faulty life and where if could lead you. His other fears however ,could not be undone by simple lectures, in his gang he was a direct lieutenant under his own brother. His brother of course knew of Quartz' birth and when Nathan left the gang he never saw his brother again as he had remained true to his criminal ways and always would. Nathan always had that fear of his brother coming to "abduct" Quartz' to the same life of crime he once lived in, he of course told Quartz this but he couldn't completely stop him if his brother was still out there.
The fact his own uncle was still involved in criminal activities (I mean, he would of told them if he was done with that past life.) gave him the possibility that his uncle was leading this criminal organization. Quartz also now felt a bit guilty about what he said to Lapis, they had been friends for a long time and the fact he couldn't tell her did sound ridiculous in his mind, however even though he was sure she wouldn't let something like that slip there was always that "what if" situation. He went to sleep slightly bitter but no real life problems bothered his sleep in the form of nightmares. He awoke next morning thinking about the Lewa City Gym and the badge he needed to win. There was nothing he could really do about that right now. He only had one pokemon that would do at least decent against the gym leader, the gym being grass type and all, Magikan. His other two pokemon, Dragasoak and his new team member Squirtle were both water types which would do horrible against ANYTHING grass type. He decided he would either need to find a new team member to fight the grass types, or he would need to teach Magikan a move that would prove very effective against grass types. Quartz decided on a new team member after thought, he ate breakfast at the hotel and set out of the outskirts of the city.
AGAIN SORRY FOR THE LATENESS AND LAZINESS OF THIS, I WILL TRY MY HARDEST NOT TO LET THIS HAPPEN AGAIN! I hope you liked this return and I'll see you all next chapter.
