Bellatrix Black, with her pale skin, dark eyes and long dark wild curls played the sweet pureblood princess. But the first year Slytherin was anything but sweet and other students of Hogwarts knew. Yet the professors either didn't see what she was really like or chose not to.
It didn't matter if she filled the Gryffindor common room with toads that screeched so loud it hurt your ears or if she hid the Hufflepuffs' Quidditch team's brooms in the Forbidden Forest.
Because Bellatrix Black always got away with it.
Sometimes it was hard to decide what was more hilarious, her pranks themselves, or the bizarre methods she came up with in order to cover up it was her doing it.
Like after turning the Prefects' Bathroom into a Everglades ,full of crocodiles, and an Anaconda (a gift from a "friend"), she transferred the muddy water into the Black Lake and scared the Giant Squid to death so its ink would swallow the dirty assumed the monster just had nightmares from when it lived in the depths of the ocean, no matter how much it tried to in its own way tell the Headmaster different .
Yes, Bella always planned things so she wouldn't get caught. It didn't bother her if she got into trouble with the professors, but she didn't want to have to hear one of her mother's boring lectures in a really long and loud howler.
Which is why she was being extra careful with her latest prank.
Late at night, the day before the Quidditch match, she slipped out of her bed in the Slytherin dorms and walking on the tips of her toes left for the Prefect's Bathroom.
Very few people knew that behind the towel-stand a secret passage led straight to the Quidditch changing rooms near the pitch.
Bellatrix was holding a navy-blue bottle tightly in her hands, making sure she wouldn't spill any of its content on the ground while walking carefully in her satin slippers.
She could see some tufts of grass here and there and if the liquid from the bottle came in contact with them...Bellatrix let a shiver run through her. She didn't even want to know what would happen to her in the dingy narrow passage if the bottle left her hand.
Plus it would leave evidence of her presence and that would sort of suck the fun out.
An evil smirk illuminated her beautiful face in a rather creepy manner.
The match was going to be much more interesting than what Rodolphus had promised her to persuade her to watch it. Boys on broomsticks weren't that fun to watch, but boys trying to see the Quaffle in a sea of 160 feet of grass, now that was enough to attract her attention!.
She was just giving tomorrow's, well technically today's Quidditch match that little bit of spice that would make the game brilliant.
In her mind she should be praised for what she doing and yet if she were caught she'd be serving detention for a month.
Nothing was more important to the imbeciles she was forced to be taught by and those she was forced to go to school with than Quidditch.
