SKATER GIRL!
Chapter Two: School
Zach's POV.
Me, Grant, Jonas and Nick stood outside, me with my skateboard in hand and them with their fancy clothes. We are so not alike, but it works I guess. Then, everyone's heads turned to the gates where a girl came in on a skateboard. The same girl me and Grant saw yesterday. I looked at him and shockingly he remembered yesterday. Then the blood-red convertible came in behind her and honked at her. They did a little 2 finger salute thing, as she sped up to met her friends. All I knew was that I had a bit of competition. My friends were drooling over the 3 girls that stepped out the car. I on the other hand was staring at the skater, Cammie.
I felt sorry for them knowing that as soon as they step inside whispers would start. We followed them inside to see what was said. Things like 'She'd be perfect for Zach. The one with the skateboard,' and 'They're all so different,' I was shocked at the comments that mentioned me. But let them slip. The girls walked to the front desk and we walked to our lockers.
"Oh my god the one with the short skirt is smoking hot," Nick almost shouted, looking at all of us in turn.
"That's Macey," Me and Grant both said at the same time.
"Right, the petite one looked good for you Jonas," he said, ignoring mine and Grants out of the blue comment.
"That's Liz," Me and Grant said again spooky in 2 ways. 1) It's the second time we spook at the same time and 2) Grant remembered their names. No offence to the big guy. We all have lockers near each other. It's me, then miss a locker, then Nick's, then Grant's, then miss a locker and it's Jonas'. After we got our stuff we all walked to form.
"Zach, that girl with the skateboard is pretty hot," Nick said to me as we were walking to form.
"Cammie's just competition," I said, shrugging my shoulders like I didn't care.
"Right, Ok. How the heck do you and Grant know their names?" Nick asked, finally becoming curious enough t ask.
Just as Grant was about to answer there was a voice behind us, "Yes how do you know?" We turned around and all 4 of them were standing there.
"Well you're not very quiet in the park you basically shouted each others names," I said, looking Cammie up and down.
"You were the boys that sped past my car at the park!" Macey shouted everyone now looking at her.
"At your service," Nick said with a little bow. I saw Cammie crack a little smile at the corner of her mouth as she looked at Macey.
"Well you almost gave me a heart attack!" She screamed again, bringing more attention towards us.
"And with that comes my headache of her moaning," Cammie said eyeing all of us, with a glint in her eyes.
"Well we are so very sorry," I said in a sarcastic, posh voice.
"You guys are getting on my nerves," Bex said, balling her fists.
"Do all skaters get on your nerves?" I asked, pushing her with a smirk.
"Yes," she replied instantly. I smirked then she realised what she said.
"HEY!" Cammie screamed getting everyone's attention on our conversation "Uncalled for,"
"Sorry," Bex said, not really sounding sincere.
"Every time, Every time," Cammie mumbled then opened the locker next to mine, then presumably walked off to form.
"Well we got to get to form," Jonas said, pointing his thumb over his shoulder in the direction Cammie had just walked.
"Before you go can you tell us where room NE01 is that's our form room?" Macey asked.
"That's our form room follow us," Grant said walking in the direction of our form.
We arrived minutes later and the girls walked to the front. I looked around and Cammie wasn't there. We went to the back of the classroom and took our seats. The last bell went signaling form has started, so Cammie is late. The girls introduced themselves then got told to sit at the back with us. Just great. Form was 10 minutes long in the morning. 5 minutes in Cammie crashed through the door.
"Sorry I'm late, I got lost," Cammie said to the teacher, composing herself more.
"That's okay sweetheart, but I suggest you find your locker, the school doesn't allow you to have your skateboard on you. I looked down under my desk and saw my skateboard lay there.
"But-"
"No buts, what's your name?" Our form tutor Miss Reynolds asked.
"Zach has his skateboard, why can't I have mine?" Cammie asked, completely ignoring Miss Reynolds question.
"Zach's a special case," She sighed, basically I wouldn't give it up, "What's your name?"
"Cammie, and I don't give a chiz about your stupid rule," She stated; she started walking towards us and sat down in the only empty seat. Next to me.
"Nice show," I smirked.
"Thank you, it's what you turn into when you're best friends with Macey, a drama queen, plus I'm just overly protective of my skateboard.
"What've you got next?" I asked as Miss Reynold sat at her desk.
"History,"
"Same," I smirked at her, "I'm Zach by the way," I realised she didn't know my name.
"You're in my history?" She asked raising an eyebrow.
"Yup,"
"Damn," She whispered.
"Hate me already? But we have so much in common," I joked, putting a hand over my heart.
"Funny," She deadpanned, rolling her eyes. I looked around and saw the others were talking to each other, probably introducing themselves.
The bell rang and I grabbed my board. Walking out of class, Cammie was behind me. I could still hear Miss Reynolds comment, as I'm sur everyone did.
"Skateboard in locker Cammie,"
"When pig's fly," She shouted over her shoulder causing the class to chuckle. I waited for her, then we started walking to history. I have a feeling school life is going to be a bit more exciting.
