Chapter 15~ I finally got to it. ;)

Gray and Lucy were along the river bank by Lucy's house.

"Wow! Look at the sky, Gray." Lucy cooed.

The Sun was setting and the sky looked like a heavenly mixture of pinks, purples, oranges and blues. The clouds were puffy and it was just "Perfect".

Gray looked up. He had a gentle smile on his face. He hummed in agreement then looked to his side to see Lucy's delicate eyes gleaming at the sunset.

"It's beautiful."

Lucy turned her head to ask Gray something, but froze. When she turned her head she saw Gray just staring and smiling at her.

She blushed. "G-Gray?" Lucy felt like her heart was in her throat.

Gray sighed. "Lucy, there's something I need to tell you." Lucy giggled which earned a surprise look on his face.

"W-What's so funny?"

Lucy giggled again. "It's nothing, your just repeating yourself and its kind of cute."

Gray blushed, but no one could see it because his bangs were covering his face. "Lucy."

Lucy all of a sudden felt terribly guilty. "Eh, G-Gray, don't get up set. J-Just forget about it! Forget I ever said it!" Lucy fidgeted, turning red as a tomato.

Gray made these little noises. 'OH GOD YOU MADE HIM CRY! NICE JOB LUCY! YOU JUST MADE ONE OF THE TOUGHEST MAGES IN FAIRY TAIL CRY!' sweat dropped from Lucy's head.

"ha ha." Gray clutched his stomach and his head went back. "HAHAHA!"

Lucy just had a blank look on her face. "What?"

Gray whipped a tear away. "Your so cute, Lucy." Lucy blushed.

"Gah! Whatever! Y-You were gonna tell me something." Lucy pouted.

Gray smiled and rubbed Lucy's head. "I'll tell you another time."
After Lucy was done being a bright shade of pink, Lucy made a puffy face.

"Come on, Gray! You can't just leave me hanging like that!"

Gray continued walking and waved. "Aye, Aye."

When Lucy finally realized she was getting left behind. "Oy! Gray! Wait up!"

Natsu was walking home when all of a sudden he felt really hot.

He was in the forest by his house. The tempter kept rising and rising.

"T-This is weird, I never get hot." Natsu winced. Slowly Natsu's eyesight got blurry, and Natsu's knees started to give out. Natsu saw a blackish, gray figure and the smell of iron.

"M-Metal face." Natsu chocked out and passed out.

Gray and Lucy reached the Guild and greeted everyone.

Lucy walked over to her friend Levy. "Hello, Levy-chan!" Lucy smiled.

Levy looked up from her book. "Oh, Hi Lu-chan!" Levy had a sly smile on her face.

"I saw you and Gray walk in together. So, so, Lu-chan. Tell me what happened?"

Lucy sputtered and sat down. "Levy-chan! Nothing happened!"

"Oh really? You lllllliiiiiiiike him."

"Second Happy." Lucy cringed. "Ah! By the way. Were is Happy?"

"I don't know. Natsu and Gajeel aren't here ether." Levy pouted.

Lucy made a evil smile.

"L-Lu-chan!?"

"You lllllllllliiiiiiiiike him!"

"Lu-chan, you're so mean!"

Natsu let out a groan.

"Well it looks like your finally waking up, Flame-brain."

"S-Shut up Iron-freak." Natsu started to sit up.

He was in his house, in his hemic. "What happened?" Natsu rubbed his head.

"How old are you?" Gajeel had serious look on his face.

Natsu looked confused. "Why does it matter?"

Gajeel sighed. "I guess Igneel didn't get around to telling you."

"Tell me what?"

Gajeel blushed. "D-Do you know what the birds and the bees are?"

Natsu made a face. "Wow, Gajeel. I'm not into guys. I'm attracted to girls. You know, FEMALES!"

"I DON'T MEAN HAVE SEX WITH ME IDIOT! I'M ASKING IF YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS!" Gajeel almost bit Natsu's head off.

"Oh, well yeah." Natsu blushed while scratching his face.

"Well, us dragon slayers have mates. It's kind of like the universe knows when a dragon slayer is born and not too long before or after the dragon slayer is born, it one and ONLY mate is born."

"Wow, wow, wait. "one and ONLY" What does that mean?"

"You only have one mate. If this mate dies, you can't and won't get another one."

"What is the mate falls in love with another person?"

"It won't happen. They might start to really like a person, but somewhere deep in their heart, they will only truly love their mate. We are literally made for each other, but don't get me wrong, Natsu. Your mate can still leave you if you mistreat him/her."

"Well, how do I know if she's my mate?"

"U-Um, well." Gajeel blushed. "She different from any other girl, you're always drawn to her. You want to spend all your hours with her, and any time you see her with another man, you get angry and think 'that should be me'. You go in a panic when she's hurt, and you will do ANYTHING to protect her and her scent. It becomes your favorite smell in the world. There is also mating season."

"M-MATING SEASON!?"

"Yes, us dragon slayers have a mating season. It's more like a week long, not really a season. During mating season your "inner dragon" kind of takes over. After you first mating season, if you know her, you will defiantly know."

"When is the "mating season"?"

"It not an exact time, usually your mate would know. After you have marked her…"

"Marked her?"

"It's kind of like a bite mark that sort of puts your scent on her."

"oh, ok. I don't think I've ever had a mating season."

"That's why I asked you your age."

"I'm 18, what does that mean?"

"You're an adult know. This is your first year to have a mating season."

"W-What!? Why are you telling me this? Is that why my tempter went up?"

"Yep, that's why. I'm Telling because for your first mating season your over element is awhile before the actual one."

"Over element?"

"You got over heated because your fire. I get this weird metal feeling."

"Well, I don't think it will affect me. I don't think I know my mate."

"Man, your dense."

"What?! What did you day metal mouth!"

"Nothing, I'll just let you figure it out yourself."

"Wait, how do you know so much?"

"Duh, I'm 19 and I know my mate."

"hmmm" Natsu started to think.
