Okay, here be the next chapter! ...At freaking 2 in the morning.
Okay, there's some raunchy stuff between Katara and Aang at the end, so I'm just warning you! It's pretty heated!
Basically, if you don't like raunchy, when Aang apologizes to Katara, stop there!
Zuko and I sat across from Sokka in his small makeshift home. Yue had set out some tea for us, but soon after vacated the room in order to acquaint herself with Katara, Mai, and Ursa.
"So, who goes first?" Sokka asked, eying Zuko suspiciously.
I couldn't help but notice how much Zuko tried to hide his scar from Sokka. I frowned sadly. The poor man didn't deserve such a blow. Then again, he didn't deserve this betrayal.
"You go first, Sokka. I'm hoping your story will aide mine into at least making some sense."
Sokka nodded. "It started about a week or two ago. I had been coming out of a dinner with Yue's family when I noticed that someone was following me. At first I thought he was just heading the same direction as me, but no matter how many twists, turns, and circles a went through, he followed me everywhere. When I made it home, I assumed I had lost him so I went to bed with ease. But, when I awoke the next morning, it was clear that that was not the case. My home was trashed. All of my things were strewn across the floor and a note was carved into the walls. I remember it as clear as day. 'Convince him, or else." I never figured out what it meant. Anyway, after I told Yue about the message, she arranged for me to stay in the palace with her. We figured I'd be safe there, but it was not so. More messages saying the same thing began to appear.
"Eventually, I decided that I needed to get out of the North because the threats were beginning to frighten Yue and even myself, frankly. I arranged my departure with Arnook and I was set to leave in two days time. However, the eve before my departure, Sangok returned home. He immediately searched for me and took me away. He told me that you kidnapped Katara and that I was to suffer for it. He stripped me of my clothing and had me stay in an icy prison. A man, Pakku, would bring me clothing and blankets to carry me through the night. Eventually, he brought Yue to me and the three of us broke out and ran for it. We hit a storm and washed up on this island. Pakku hasn't been seen since, though.
"But Aang, strange things were happening in the North. They were readying for a battle. The watch towers were always attended to with heavily armed men and I managed to sneak into the war quarters and find an abundance of weapons, some Fire Nation, just waiting to be used."
I gulped and looked at Zuko who shook his head in disappointment. "Two opposing elements are uniting to fight a war. How wonderful!" his voice was thick with sarcasm.
I then turned to Sokka and told him everything that had happen from when I arrived at the South Pole to our escaping of the Fire Nation. He didn't seem surprised with I told him of Sangok's traitorous activities but when I told him of how he tried to kidnap Katara, his face turned a boiling red.
"That sick-" he couldn't finish his sentence. "Why did Katara go along with it for so long? Couldn't she see what a creep he was? UGH!" Sokka groaned, snatching up the cup of brew that had been placed in front of him. "I swear my sister can be so stupid." He took a swig and set it back down on the table.
I shrugged half heartedly and continued my story.
"Lu Ten?" he gasped when I had finished. "Lu Ten, the heir to the Fire Lord's throne, is the one leading this rebellion? Lu Ten?"
"He's not the only heir..." Zuko mumbled dejectedly.
I rolled my eyes but decided not to berate him, he had a rough day. "Yes, Sokka, Lu Ten and Sangok are working together. I alone cannot stop them. We need to form a sort of army to thwart them."
Sokka nodded. "I'll send a letter to the Earth King and ask for his strongest men." He stood, his eyes flicking over Zuko. "I'm sor-"
He stopped when he saw the look that Zuko was giving him. He opened his mouth to speak but then shook his head, quickly leaving the building.
I shoved my elbow in Zuko's side. "What in La's name was that?"
"What?"
"You looked like you were ready to kill Sokka!"
Zuko shrugged. "Why was I instructed to come in here, anyway?"
I shrugged and stood. "Go spend time with Mai. Maybe her cheery disposition will help your mood."
His whole face seemed to brighten at the thought and he scurried out of the room, off to be with the love of his life. Meanwhile, I was curious as to where mine was.
Push and Pull, Yin and Yang. That's what I always thought of when I watched the tide lap against the sandy bay. But today's was different. Today, I was watching Katara push and pull the water. Goodness she was a marvelous bender. I couldn't understand how she was able to keep this a secret from me. Bending was a crucial part to every bender's life, how could she hide it?
"Aang, if you're going to watch me bend, you don't have to be so secretive about it," Katara said calmly as she pushed the water away from herself.
I quickly stood up and meandered to her side. "I wasn't being secretive!" I protested, tossing my arm over her shoulder in a lackadaisical manner.
She let her hands drop to her sides and turned to me, giving me a small peck on the cheek. "Sure you weren't," she paused. "For the record, I would only bend at night. When Sangok and the whole village was asleep. That way I could continue letting him think that I was an incompetent princess!" She sighed, resting her head against me. "Much like his sister," she added.
"Um, that was slightly uncalled for..."
Katara shrugged. "Yue is weak and depends on Sokka and her brother to protect her. Honestly, Aang, she can't be trusted. She loves Sangok way too much to betray him so easily."
I raised my eyebrow at her. "She can't love Sokka more?"
Katara raised her eyes to meet mine. "Aang, no love out weighs loyalty to family."
"So what are you saying, Katara? That she is plotting with her brother?"
Katara stepped away, dipping her feet into the water. "Yes, Aang, that is exactly what I'm saying."
Perhaps it was due to the nonchalant way Katara had accused Yue of being a traitor, but by the end of the day, I was furious with everyone and every thing. My temper flared even around Ursa, whose calm disposition always seemed to keep me level headed.
Katara had notice the difference in my behavior and was wise in choosing to avoid me. I still could not fathom the idea of meek little Yue being so cruel.
I had curled up on top of a rock near the beach to be alone when I heard a noise that rather surprised me. My eyes could make out the shape of Sokka and another women I had met earlier. Suki, I think was her name. The two were walking along the beach, just talking. Occasionally one would nudge the other against the water, but neither would stumble in. That is, until Suki let out a loud laugh and hip bumped a surprised Sokka, who clumsily fell to the ground just as the water lapped up the bay. He let out a surprised scream as the cold water collided with his back side. He looked up at Suki whose eyes were closed as she laughed. He waited for another wave to come back in, and when it did he grabbed her hand and pulled her over his head, letting her land with a loud splash. A string of swear words came out of her mouth as she locked Sokka into a choke hold. I couldn't help but laugh at their foolishness. However, a figure in white silenced my laughter. Yue stood not 20 yards away, glaring at the couple in front of her. I could see her gaze look to the moon and suddenly a massive wave was coming at the island aiming for Suki and Sokka.
Sokka saw it first. He grabbed Suki's waist and tried to make it as far inland as he possibly could. A boulder sat in the middle of the beach and the two latched on to it, entwining their hands together on one side as their other hand gripped the other's waist. I watched the wave crash into them, and I could see that they should have easily become separated, but they were not. The wave died down and the two still clung to each other while Yue let out a frustrated scream and stomped off. Sokka sat up at the noise and finally noticed his fiancee. His eyes narrowed when he realized that she had asked the moon spirit for aid.
My eyes, however, widened in surprise. Perhaps she really was evil in some sort of way.
Guess I owe Katara an apology.
Katara and I had been placed in the same house with two separate bedrooms. Across the street remained the Fire Nation citizens who were wise and minded their own business. For I wasn't sure how much of this they would want to hear.
I gently pushed the door to her room open and poked my head inside. She sat up on her bed, her blue eyes staring curiously at me. I couldn't help but notice how her cotton nightgown barely covered her chest. She slowly stood, showing me just how short that nightgown was, and came to my side, pushing the door behind me closed and locking it. "I was beginning to wonder if you would come, Aang," she whispered, her hands slowly sliding up my chest.
I swallowed, trying to find my voice. "I'm sorry, for earlier Katara, I didn't mean to come off so rude."
She nodded. "I understand, Aang. But please, don't apologize now. The moon is full and I'm..." instead of finishing her sentence, she pulled me in, licking my lips seductively with her tongue.
For those of you with innocent eyes, STOP HERE
Oh La.
My arms instantly pulled her against me, my lips crashing against hers. My hands moved down to the back of her thighs, pulling her up so that her legs wrapped around my waist. I turned around and pressed her roughly against the wall as our lips and tongues continued to battle each other. Her feet gently touched the floor and her hands moved to the hem of my shirt, pulling it over my head. My bare skin was soon exposed to the frigid air but her lips were there to warm it, making me moan at the sudden touch of her lips against my flesh. Her lips moved up my chest and stopped at my neck. There, she began biting and sucking on the nape of my neck, making me moan even louder.
I moved my face around and pulled her lips to mine again. She jumped up, her legs latching around my waist again as I moved us over to the bed. I tossed her down and straddled her, pulling the night gown over her head as I did so. Starting at her lower waist, my lips made my way up her toned mid section, my tongue dipped out at her navel, making her squirm under me. I made my way up to her neck and softly bit at the tender flesh and she moaned softly. I kissed the skin there and then moved to her ear where she gasped in shock as I bit and played with it. Her gasp turned into a moan and then a loud cry of my name.
"Oh, La! Aang!" she panted. "Oh...Aang."
Her hands clawed at my back and my eyes moved to hers.
"Aang..." she whispered. She flipped over so that she was straddling me. Her lips went down against my ear and she whispered in my ear. "Have your way with me."
And I did.
Okay, so I'm thinking about making a very M rated one shot of this chapter for those of you who like lemons, it'll probably be on my page less than a day after I post this chap. :D
Actually, I'm somewhat worried that the detail put into this makes it M, let me know and I'll change the rating, okay? But I promise you this, the romance will never get any worse than that!
Tell me what you think!
