Ninja- Hey guys! So, I'm going to post this section of the chapter because I had a whole 'nother section of this chapter, but my stupid Tablet thought it was a good idea to delete all of that work. It must have been around 2,000+ words, and it really makes me mad that I cannot give you guys that section. But I do not want to push out the date of this chapter going out, so the Craftmas section of this story will becoming out a little while later after Christmas. I'm sorry guys, but I don't want to push out getting this chapter out to you guys.
Kitty- So, here is this chapter! The rest of this chapter will be coming out soon, whenever Ninja here can find the time to get on an actual computer to type up the rest of the section faster than she can with using the Tablet. So, here is Chapter 7: Confrontations and Rough Travels!
Sky's POV-
"My eyes...were...what?" I asked, hoping that I was hearing this straight.
"Your eyes were completely blank. Like...an pure-white, soulless color," Jen replied, her voice seemed to have a slight frightful tone.
"That's...that's never happened to me before. Why did this even happen?" I asked myself, looking down at my sword on the ground which was still dripping blood from the mobs that I had brutally murdered. Bashur walked up to me, but stayed a distance away from me.
"Not sure. Either it's just a gene that you just discovered, or you could be related to..." Bashur stopped there, unwilling to finish his sentence. "Well, you know...him..." He finished. I realized what the melon was meaning by 'him'. Herobrine. Was there a possibility that I was somehow related to the Nether King? I shook my head violently at that grueling thought.
"No! I can't be!" I yelled at myself in my mind. I was so mad at that thought in my head, underneath all of that rage, I blamed Bashur for making me worry enough about everything that has happened to all of us so far. Unable to control my emotions, I angrily turned towards the melon, making him gasp in fear. I lunged for him and grabbed him by his throat. Everyone gasped and backed away as I pinned Bashur to a tree, holding his throat tightly to prevent him from breathing. I could see that he was struggling to escape my grip and breathe, but I was tougher and stronger than he was. I glared through his 3-D glasses and spoke to him in a murderous-like tone.
"Don't you dare ever assume that I am related to that demon of the Nether. I am the hero of Minecraftia and that's the way it is going to be, you got it!?" I stated to him, shaking him for every word that I emphasized. Bashur whimpered as he nodded furiously. Then, all of a sudden, I regain control of my anger. I look towards Bashur, shivering in fear as he shields his face away from me with his arms. I took a deep breath and I gently let go of him. The melon fell to the ground and started crawling away from me, hiding behind Jerome's legs and peering from behind him. Sierra walks up to me, but she took caution with each step she took.
"Adam... it happened again," She said. I sighed deeply, rubbing my eyes in pain. I still couldn't get over that thought. But I knew that the more I worried about it, the more time is wasted. We had to find AntVenom's house, as soon as possible. I shook off the thought from my head and turned to all my friends.
"Okay, guys. I may have this weird ability to turn my eyes white, but that doesn't mean we can't continue the journey," I said. "We're going to find AntVenom and get this entire problem resolved. Who's ready to save the world?" Everyone raise their hands and formed fists, cheering out in unison.
"Then, let's get going," I finished off. I begin to lead the way to the direction we were going, everyone follows close behind me. We left the area where I had killed all of those Zombie Pigmen, climbing down the trees carefully as it was still dark out. I knew I could have possibly killed my friends in my rage, but I know that I have to control my anger. Don't let it control me, just do what a hero does. Protect and takes risks for others. I continued to lead everyone through the forest, the possibility of getting killed really high, but I was ready for anything that happens.
Jerome's POV-
Half an hour after Sky's rampage against the Zombie Pigmen, we resumed our journey to find AntVenom. As we were walking, I glanced over and see Sky. Although I was great friends with him and I trusted him completely, I couldn't help but keep my distance away from him. Everyone felt that way. Even Dawn, his girlfriend, was keeping a safe distance away from him. After seeing what he did to those Nether mobs, I wouldn't do anything to get on Sky's bad side. Notch only knows what he would do to any of us if he got furious at us. My thoughts were interrupted when my stomach started to growl. I groaned as I placed a hand over my growing stomach.
"Man, I'm starving. I wish we had some food on us," I said to myself.
Ian heard me say that and said, "Well, I would have given you a very thin slice of my cake if someone hadn't tried to eat it!" Ian exclaimed, casting an angered glance over at Mitch. Mitch scoffed arrogantly, as if he didn't even care.
"Whatever, cake man. A bit more sugar would have been nice, you know," Mitch stated. Ian stomped over to him and met him face-to-face.
"I made that cake with love, and then, you decided to go and shove it down your pie-hole!" Ian argued towards him.
"Don't you mean my cake hole? After all, it was a cake and not a pie," Mitch said. Ian pulled his hair in frustration and annoyance towards Mitch. I could tell that Mitch was just adding fuel to the fire that burned in Ssundee.
"Unless you want to see your spine being pulled out of your back, I suggest that you shut up!" Ian threatened towards him. However, Mitch was undeterred by him.
"You shut up!" He responded. I quickly looked ahead and saw Logdotzip turn towards the two.
"Hey, let's all shut up, how about that!?" He questioned. Ian and Mitch glare at each other, then look away from one another. I heard Sky let out a frustrated sigh. The small fights that happened between us now and then were starting to get to him. I was worrying about how everyone is starting to turn on each other... instead of focusing on what matters now... their lives. It was only a matter of time before someone else tried to pick a fight with another.
Bashur's POV-
I was still shaking in my pants from the face-to-face talk with Sky. I knew I should have kept my mouth shut, but I couldn't help but share that thought with him. Right now, I feel guilty because Sky already had enough to worry about, but being related to the guy who's causing our lives to be total chaos and madness? It was almost too hard to believe. I don't know much about Sky's past, nor did he ever even talked about, but I knew that he couldn't possibly have the blood of the Nether King. He's brave and compassionate towards others, and Herobrine is just... well, just plain cruel and power-hungry. The two didn't share any similarities with each other at all... except for Sky's eye color change. I decided against assuming that it had something to with Herobrine. All I knew is that we had to stop him from destroying the world and wiping out the remaining humans and hybrids in our group.
As we traveled deeper into the forest, there were a ton of branches in our way, some thin while others were thick. Sky moved the first thin branch out to the way and broke it, allowing us to pass through. He cleared more branches out of the way. Out of all of the branches, Sky reached a very thick and yet thin branch. He moved the branch out of the way and carefully moved by, letting Quentin grab ahold of the branch. He held the branch out of the way, and half of the Minecrafters go through. When I get to him, I grab onto the branch and let him move forward. I thought that everyone had gone through, so when I went by, I released the branch and let it go flying. Boy, was I going to regret that.
Suddenly, I heard a hard smack and someone yell out in pain. I quickly turn around and see Simon, grasping his face while sitting on the ground. Bodil limped over to him and knelt down.
"Dude, are you okay?" Bodil asked his friend. When I got closer to see if he was alright, Simon moved his hands away from his face. I winced as I saw his injury; a bloody nose was the cause of the branch hit. A stream of blood flowed out, making Simon groan in pain and grasp his injury again.
"Oh my Notch, Simon, I am extremely sorry! I had no idea you were behind me," I apologized to him. I knew that Simon had a temper issue, so I was hoping that he would forgive me. He didn't. When he looked up at me, I saw his iris turn from the usual brown color to a blood-red color with black streaks aiming into his pupils. He started growling in his throat as he moved his hands away and started advancing towards me. I got scared and took a couple of steps away from him.
"Uh... no hard feelings?" I asked him. Suddenly, he lunged at me. I couldn't defend myself as he brought me to the ground on my back. He started punching me, so the only defense I could do was shield my face with my arms, but each hit he did brought strikes of pain on my arms. Through the madness, I saw Bodil quickly run off, despite the fact that he didn't have one foot. "Where the balls are you going? Help me, dam-!" I shouted in my mind.
My thoughts were quickly interrupted when Simon grabbed a hold of my neck. He aggressively started turning my neck, trying to completely turn it around. I knew what he was going to do. He was gonna kill me by breaking my neck! I knew the end was near for me, but then, several figures appeared and grabbed Simon's shoulders. He let go of my neck and I let out an exhausted gasp. Simon still tried to go after me, but Bodil, Ashely, and Jerome held him back. I struggled to my feet and backed away.
"You seriously have an anger problem, Simon. Those meditating class didn't work at all! Mostly because you got mad because you couldn't clear your mind!" I exclaimed. Suddenly, Sky came in between me and Simon.
"Will everyone just stop!?" He yelled out, his eyes starting to glow blank-white again. Everyone immediately shut their mouths, including me. Sky pants angrily as he stares at all of us, the blinding light from his eyes slowly beginning to dim away.
"Man, what is wrong with all of you!? Ever since we started this journey, some of you guys have been trying to kill each other over the stupidest of excuses. Do those things even matter right now?! What matters is the safety and future of world, and we're not gonna let the cruel fate of us be sealed all because you guys decided to fight each other instead of the real threats right now," He explained. Then, Ian took a risk and walked up to Sky.
"Dude, is there even hope now? The whole mess that's happened back at CubeCity is starting to tear us all apart. Pretty soon, once we get hungry and run out of food, we're gonna start eating each other," He exclaimed. Then, I decided to join in.
"Actually, I'm a melon, so I can just eat myself and it will grow back," I said, then Ian glances towards me with a irritated look.
"Nobody cares," He replied. I let out a sigh as he turns back to Sky.
"And besides, even if we are able to make contact with Notch, he probably won't even spare some help to defeat Herobrine and the Squid Army," Ian exclaimed.
However, Sky said, "Ian, Notch created our world. He's the god of the Aether and the Overworld. He wouldn't turn his back on us when we need him the most." Then, stepping into the argument is GoldSolace.
"I don't know, Sky, think about it. When you're in control of everything and you feel so powerful that nothing can stop you, eventually, you start forgetting about the responsibilities you held and just go off and live your life without a care in the world. After every horrible and heart-wrenching action that have been inflicted on the city and all of us, I'm starting to think that Notch is neglecting the world that he created," Solace said, a slight assertiveness was heard within his statement.
Sky shakes his head in disagreement. "I refuse to believe that he is doing that," Sky replied. Then, he glances at everyone else. "Do you guys really think that Notch is doing this?" He asked. Half of the Minecrafters either look down in guilt or look at each other. I looked over at Sierra, doubt pinching our sights. I hear Sky scoff in disgust and look towards Solace.
"Look, even if that were the case, I would still fight for safety in our world. God or no god, this world needs a savior, and that savior is me. But I can't do this alone, you guys. Maybe, if we just put our differences aside for the time being, we can finally live in peace again," Sky said. Everyone glanced at each other, then agrees with Sky. Then, he looked over at Ian.
"Ian, are you with us?" Sky asked him. I looked over and see Ssundee with his arms crossed over his chest. He looks down for a split second, then looks up at Sky.
"Alright. I begrudgingly accept your point, Sky. But, if you die trying to save us from this hell, you can expect one person missing at your funeral," Ian said. I gasped in shock. That has got to be the darkest statement I have ever heard in my life. And trust me, I have heard my fair share of dark statements in my life.
Sky bit his lip, as if restricting himself from saying something, and then he nodded. Our friend then turned around, and he walked in the direction that we were going in before. We began walking again, and I quickly found myself in the back of the group. Pewface walked up beside me, having stayed towards the back during the whole confrontation.
"Well, that was... interesting," Pewface said, his ears drooping slightly.
I sighed. "I'm just hoping that that sort of thing doesn't happen again... who knows who might get hurt next time," I said, then glancing up towards my friends that were walking in front of me. Most of them had their heads hung low, while some just were completely silent. I could not imagine them injured or worse... dead.
"Eh, who knows? I heard it was a long journey to AntVenom's place, it might happen again along the way," Pewface then said.
I turned my head towards the wolf, and then I said, "Pewface, do you really want that to happen to us?"
Pewface just shrugged as much as a wolf could shrug. "I really don't care, I'm a dog. All I do is sleep, eat, poop and lick my butt. You should know that."
"Yeah, but still. You don't have to be a jerk about it, Pewface."
"That's what I live for."
I shook my head, and then, a moment later, I said, "Besides, if we were to crumble as friends and all fight, who would be able to feed you, nevertheless find the time to feed you?"
That got Pewface to shut up real quick. Normally, I would have celebrated the fact that I won that fight against my dog, but I was too worried to really care at that moment. We really had to find AntVenom quickly, or else this situation may turn a little bloody...
Sky's POV-
The next couple of hours of traveling were very hard. Not just because there was major contentions between several of my friends, but because the major storms of the world had finally caught up to us. Winds recording up to speeds of 150 mph buffeted us as we journeyed through the desert, powerful rain storms hit us as we pushed through the forests, and mud as high as the tops of my boots (around my shin level) blocked our path when we came into the swamp. But we continued to push through. Luckily, none of my friends decided that it was a good time to bicker, so I didn't become mad at them and lose my temper.
After about six hours of traversing through many different types of storms, we hit the tundra. Snow began to softly fall around us, making us shiver.
"Man, it's so frickin' cold! Why does it have to snow?" Husky complained, wrapping his arms tightly around his body.
"What are you talking about, dude? This is just like my old home!" Jerome then said, taking in a deep breath. Jerome did not seem at all altered by the cold weather surrounding us. As I looked back to him, I saw that his brown fur was speckled with snow, so he looked to be peppered brown and white.
"You are not a fish, Jerome," Mitch started, shivering slightly as he smiled wickedly towards Husky. "You don't freeze that easily."
Husky growled in his throat. "I am not a fish, I am a fuc-" He took in a deep breath, and then he calmly said, "I am an amphibian. Get your facts straight for the first time ever."
"Guys, stop fighting, OK? And besides, it's December. Of course it's going to snow," I then shot, trying hard not to lose my temper right then.
Sierra looked around, and then she said, "Hold up, guys. I sense someone here with us."
We all stopped, and I turned to my sister. She was crouching slightly, her eyes flicking around constantly. Sierra then turned to Jen, and she motioned for her to follow her. The two girls then climbed into the closest spruce tree, leaving us then in silence. I exchanged a quick glance with Dawn, and then I took out my budder sword, everyone else following my lead.
All of a sudden, I heard a high pitched scream go out. A moment later, we heard rustling in the trees, and then a loud thump was heard.
"SKY!" Sierra then screamed. My brotherly and leader instincts kicked into gear, and I rushed to the area where I heard her scream. Mitch and Jerome were directly behind me, worry for the young girl clearly radiating from them. We rounded the corner, and I froze when I saw the scene before me. My sister and her best friend were trying desperately to hold down a girl with a black suit, a tail, and cat ears from clawing them.
"You're a feisty one, aren't you, Cat Girl?" Jen then asked as she held the girl's hands behind her back and kept her pinned to the ground. Sierra had managed to push herself away from the girl, but she did not look good. Claw marks ran all across her face, blood freely pouring from the wounds. She could barely see anything around her, I could already tell.
I ran up to my sister, and put my hand carefully up to her face. "Oh, my Notch, are you OK? You look horrible!" I cried out, examining the wounds on her face.
"I'm fine, Sky. Just... take care of her first," Sierra whimpered, trying hard to not cry in pain. I then turned to CaptainSparklez and Seto.
"Take Sierra away and see what you can do to heal her wounds," I quickly said. The two of them nodded, and then they began to move Sierra away slightly from the group under the cover of a huge tree. I then turned to the cat girl, who was still trying to bite Jen.
"Who are you, Cat?" I then asked, putting the tip of my budder sword to her face.
The girl glanced up to me, and I saw that she had stunning green eyes that surprisingly matched her bright orange hair. "If you release me, I might actually answer you," She then said in a normal American accent.
"Jen, release her slowly," I said, barely lowering my sword. Jen nodded, and then she carefully lifted herself off of the mutant half-girl. The last thing she did was release the girl's hands. That was a bad idea.
Right as Jen released her hands, the mutant growled and quickly turned to kick Jen in the gut. She clenched her stomach, but the mutant kicked Jen's feet from below her body. The mutant would have killed Jen right then and there, but right then, a person jumped in between them.
"Elgae! Ereht thgir tlah! Meht kcatta ton od," The person then said, which got the mutant to seize up. The girl stepped away from Jen, retracting her claws back into her hand. "Siht eldnah em tel," He said calmly. Then, he turned to us.
"I am so sorry for my mutant. She's... uh, not really used to people being around here," The man then said in English, chuckling slightly. I just examined him. This man had dark brown eyes, short black hair, tan skin, and a black goatee. He wore a black soldier plated, long-sleeved chest, black pants, dark blue gloves with black and white cuffs, and he had gray, red, black and white boots on. But what shocked me the most was the amulet around his neck. It looked exactly like mine. On his back he had on a dark red cape that had a black creeper logo on the outside of the cape.
I recognized him. But... he didn't recognize me. I understood why, but I really didn't want to believe that at that moment. I could not tell him of the past... it would ruin everything and maybe cause him to die...
"It's... fine, I guess. Not much harm was done. I am Sky, leader of the Sky Army. Or... at least what is left of it," I then said, giving him a kind smile. I had to pretend that I didn't know him... it was the only thing I could do.
"I am AntVenom. Nice to meet you, Sky," Ant then said, holding his hand out to me. I clasped onto his hand. Oh, how I missed doing that... it has been eight years since I have done that simple action...
Sierra's POV-
"Hold still, Sierra. You do want to see again, don't you?" CaptainSparklez asked me, dabbing a cloth at my face lightly.
Pushing him away, I then tried to blink. Immediately as I did that, blood entered my eyes, and stung them. I cried out in pain, unable to rub my eyes because Seto was holding my hands behind my back so I didn't struggle that much.
Jordan quickly cleaned the blood from my eyes, and began to clean the blood flowing from the wounds on my face again, mumbling something under his breath about the fact that I didn't listen to anything he said. After a minute, I heard Seto say, "Jordan, this is not going to seize up. The wounds are too deep to stop the bleeding. We need a special med kit to stop it now."
Right then, I sensed someone walk up to us. "I am so sorry for what Eagle did to you. Why don't we all go back to my house and get you all... fixed up again?" The person asked. I knew that my friends then nodded, because a moment later, I felt Seto and Sparklez push me forward. I carefully walked, having the two of them telling me where to step up, step down, move around, or duck. I really hated being in a world of dark. Even though I wanted to see again, I really didn't want to feel helpless.
A couple minutes later, I felt a new hand get placed on my arm. Immediately I knew who it was. I had felt that touch so many times in my life previously that I could have known it even if I was blind. "I'm here for you, Si. We're almost to AntVenom's house, but we have to pass through a cave and climb a small rocky hill to get there," Bajan then said, carefully leading me slightly to the right.
I just laughed. "Really? That's not that bad. I could probably do that on my own," I then said, pushing off Mitch to walk blindly forward. Right as I did that though, I smacked right into a tree, and stumbled backwards in pain. That didn't help me any.
I heard someone else chuckle behind me. "And that's why we are going to be here for you leading you through this path, Sierra," Jerome then said, laughing happily. I just groaned, and I began to push myself up. Two sets of hands quickly helped me up, and then Jerome said, "Just let us lead you, and then when we get to AntVenom's house you can get patched up."
From there on I just allowed my two best friends to lead me on. I really didn't pay attention to where we were, because I could not see it. But I knew when we entered the cave, because it got extremely cold, and I could hear the echoing steps of my friends around me. The warmth of the sun and the cold of the snow contradicted each other once we got back outside, and then it was about ten minutes later that we finally stopped walking. I knew when we entered Ant's house, because it got really warm, and I could hear another person in the room talking to Ant. I didn't recognize to voice, so it wasn't one of my friends.
"Just set her down right here, you two," The voice from before then said, and a moment later, I felt Jerome and Mitch set me down on a hard surface. "OK, this is going to hurt, but I need to clean your wounds so that I can add this ointment to heal you."
I didn't get what he meant until I then felt a liquid wash over my face, and it began to sting my wounds. I cried out in pain, but I felt three sets of hands trying to comfort me. It wasn't hard to know that those hands belonged to Sky, Jerome and Bajan. The pain quickly subsided though when I felt the person (who I assumed was AntVenom) apply a salve to my wounds. Immediately, I felt relieved.
"Wow, you are a strong woman, Sierra," Ant then said, chuckling lightly afterwards. I shrugged slightly as he then began to clean up the blood around my eyes.
"When I was younger I had to go through a surgery that hurt because my parents refused to have a painkiller injected into my system. I have learned to deal with pain since then," I answered.
"I see. And... there you go. You should be able to see now," AntVenom then said, finishing up cleaning up my face. Trusting him, I then blinked several times, and my sight quickly came rushing back to me. The first person that I saw before me I quickly knew was AntVenom. Behind him stood Jen, Eagle the cat, and Dawn. My three friends and brother stood behind me, so I could not look at them directly.
"Wow... it's so amazing to see again!" I cried out, looking around the beautiful house that we were in. It was quite a large house for one person to live in. Everythingwas decorated in fancy decorations, and a lot of candles were placed all around the room that we were in. As I looked around, I realized that we were in the kitchen. The kitchen was quite large, with several furnaces on the left side of the room. To the right of me was the main area of the kitchen, where the cooking would have been done. Many cupboards sat against the walls, and a giant fridge sat nearby. Directly in front of me sat a giant fireplace, which gave off the main source of warmth from the harsh, unforgiving winter storm outside of the house that we were in. I already knew that this place was large (as I have said before), because it would have had to house all of my friends, and they were not all in the same room as me and the others.
"Thank Notch that you are OK, Sierra. It would not have been good to travel blind... or even fight blind," Sky said behind me, clasping onto my shoulders quickly. I turned my head to look at my brother, and I smiled at him.
Pushing myself off of the table that I was on, I then stretched my arms out. I took a look outside of the window, and I saw that it was snowing pretty hard outside. It was also pitch black outside. Looking over to the boys, I then asked, "What time is it?"
"Shortly past eleven at night. Ant here has been trying to stop your bleeding for almost two, maybe three hours," Bajan then said, gesturing over to AntVenom, who was talking to another person that had walked into the kitchen. This new person did not actually look like a human. It looked more like a... lava creeper. He wore a black suit with a white long-sleeved shirt underneath it, his tie being made out of lava as well. I did not know how that was even possible, but I didn't question it.
I was shocked. It did not seem to have been that long that I was sitting there, but then again, I could not sense my internal clock was with the actual time. Had the battle against the Squids a couple weeks ago damaged something inside of me? I really didn't know. I didn't know much anymore.
AntVenom quickly finished talking with Lava Creeper, and then he turned to us while the lava mob went outside into the cold winter storm. It confused me why he was going outside so late at night, but then again, everyone did strange things and strange times. When I was younger, Jerome ate a liver once... it was extremely strange. Good thing he has stopped doing that now, but occasionally, he will joke about it. That's Jerome for you.
"Right, so why don't you guys get some sleep now? It has been a long day for you guys, and if you are to keep on journeying tomorrow, you will need as much energy as you can get. I have had Eagle and Preston set out several sleeping bags in the living room, the guest bedroom, and the den to let you guys sleep. I will see you guys in the morning," And then said, gesturing towards the room that conjoined with the kitchen.
Everyone in there quickly walked out, all except for Sky. When I went to question him why he was staying behind, he quickly said, "I'm just going to explain to him our situation and see if he will be willing to assist us in finding Notch." I just nodded, and then I walked into the living room.
Quickly picking a sleeping bag to sleep in next to my friends, I then took a look around. I saw Bashur talking quietly to Pewface, Quentin was talking to GoldSolace and Wolf, and Bodil was discussing something with Pixel, Simon and Spade. Everyone else in there (excepting the ones that just barely walked out of the kitchen) was already asleep. Well, all except for Ssundee. Ian was sitting up in his bed, staring out the front window.
Turning to Bajan, I then said, "Mitch, go and talk to Ian. Try and make him feel a little better."
"Are you kidding me? Did you see the last time I talked to him? He almost murdered me!" Bajan then whispered loudly, trying not to have Ian overhear.
"That was because you and Jerome were making him mad and adding fuel to the fire. Try and be nice to him and maybe he won't kill you."
"No thank you, girl. Even if I just walk over there he will get angry," Mitch then shot, looking over at Ian and glaring slightly.
I exhaled in annoyance. "Fine, then. I will go and try to help him instead. Be a jag and sit on your fat behind and not resolve the contention between you and him." I pushed myself up, and then I walked away, leaving Mitch sitting there with his jaw hanging open. He had never been called a jag by me before. That offended him, I could easily tell.
Walking up quietly next to Ian, I then knelt down on the ground near him. "Ssundee, are you OK?" I then asked him gently.
Ian turned his head towards me, and then he said, "Yeah, I'm fine." I jerked back slightly. There was a lot of spite in his voice. He really was not happy at the moment.
Sighing, I then bit my lip. I had to figure out a way to make him a little bit happier. Or... at least make him a little less angry. I scooted closer to him, and then I said, "Ian, what's the matter? Why have you been so angry lately?"
After a minute, Ssundee sighed, and then he turned to me. "Sierra, I am going to tell you straight up why I am angry, OK? But don't... don't tell anyone, OK?" He asked, looking around quickly.
I nodded. Ssundee breathed in slightly, and then he leaned in a little bit closer. "I... I am in love with someone."
I stared at Ian with a confused look. "That's why you have been angry lately? Because you are in love with someone? That's..." I started to say, but then I saw his pained expression. He really was telling the truth. "Um... who is this girl anyways?" I asked, coughing a little to dismiss my earlier comment.
Ssundee sighed. "I... I don't know her name. I only saw her once before, and... and it pains me to not know what her name is. Every time that I see my other friends where they are in love... it just reminds me of her. That's why I have been so mad lately. I mean, there is Sky and Dawn, you and Bajan/Jerome, Jen and Seto, and Bodil and Pixel, and many of my other friends, and it just makes me want to feel the same thing. All I want for Craftmas this year is just to see her again and to learn her name..." Ian trailed off, then returning his attention to the window. I kept silent, although I wanted to tell him that I was just friends with both Jerome and Mitch, and that I didn't have a love connection with any of them... at least not yet. Ssundee continued quietly, "Lately, though, I have been feeling that because Notch didn't help us when CubeCity went down in flames, he is not going to answer anything we are praying for. I have given up hope for everything that I used to believe in..."
"Ian, don't give up. You will see her soon, trust me," I then said, giving him a quick smile.
"How? What if she is dead because of the storms? I will never get the chance to meet her then..."
"Trust me, Ian."
Ian laughed quietly, the first time that he has laughed in a while. "OK, Sierra. I trust you, because you are one of my best friends."
I smiled. "Good. Now, get some sleep, Ian. Maybe you will dream of this woman tonight if you go to sleep soon," I said, thenpushing myself up from the ground next to him. Ian obeyed like a little boy, and then he curled up in his sleeping bag and quickly fell asleep.
Chuckling, I then made it back to my bed. Mitch looked up to me, a shocked look on his face. "How... how did you do that?" He asked me, looking from me over to Ssundee quickly.
Laying down in my bed, I then said, "I am just that good of a Power Mover, Mitch. Now, go to bed. We will be starting our journey to save CubeCity tomorrow... and then maybe we can stop Herobrine and the Squids officially..."
