chapter 11: Falling into your Gravity
Damon kept staring at Claire while she's sleeping, he sighs and says:"God, I love you so much." He stands up and opens the window, Damon looks out of the window and pours a glass full of Bourbon. Claire opens her eyes and looks at Damon, she doesn't make a sound. Claire only keeps staring at Damon, He drinks his glass at once and turns to look at Claire. He smiles and lays beside her, she keeps looking at him. Damon looks at Claire and says:"Why are you staring at me again Claire?" She sighs and says while sitting straight:"I couldn't sleep the whole night, and my head hurts like hell. And I don't know why." Damon grabs Claire's hand gently, he says:"Did you have a nightmare?" Claire sighs and says:"No, I kept thinking about many stuff." Damon sits straight and says:"Is something bothering you Claire? You know I would help you with everything." Claire smiles and says:"I know Damon, thank you for everything." She sighs again and says:"Let's get up, and go sightseeing." Damon stands up from the bed and says:"Good idea, well then I'm gonna take a shower." He leaves the room and closes the door behind him. Claire lays back on the bed and says:"Iff only you know that i was thinking the whole night about you."
Claire grabs her cellphone and calls Stefan, meanwhile Stefan sees that Claire's calling him. He answers his phone and says:"Goodmorning Claire" Claire sighs and says:"Goodmorning Stefan" He smiles cause he knows something is bothering her, he says:"What's bothering you Claire, Tell me." She smiles and says:"I couldn't sleep the whole night, I kept thinking about Damon." Stefan puts his shirt on and looks at Elena, she smiles and hugs him. Stefan smiles and says:"Claire I think you're falling for him. You've always loved Damon, but you just never realized it." Claire coughs and spits Bourbon on the ground, she wipes her mouth and says:"What are you saying Stefan? I can't possibly love Damon? I love Klaus more than anyone." Stefan laughs and says:"I don't think so, go and ask Lexy she'll totally agree with me." Claire puts her hand in her hair and says:"Stefan please, just tell me that it's not true what you said." Stefan sighs and says:"Claire I'll let you talk to Elena, she wants to say something to you." Claire smiles and says:"Okay, let me talk to cute Elena." Elena chuckles and says:"Hello Claire, I just wanna tell you that I have been watching you the days you where here."
Claire chuckles and says:"hello Elena, well why would you keep an eye on me?" Elena smiles and says:"I realized that you had feelings for Damon, cause whenever Caroline said something about Damon. You would start saying good things about him, and sometimes you where staring at him the whole time." Claire coughs again and says:"well i don't know, maybe I just have to see iff i really have feelings for him." Elena smiles and says:"I think so too Claire, I'll call you tonight." Claire sighs and says:"Okay, bye." She trows her cellphone on her bed, and grabs the bottle of Bourbon. Claire drinks straight from the bottle, she leaves the bedroom. Claire go's to the bathroom, she opens the door and closes it behind her. She didn't even realize that Damon was taking a shower. Damon puts a towel around him and says:"Iff you wanna take a shower with me, you just had to ask me?" Claire looks at Damon and says:"Oh god, I didn't realize you where here." Damon smirks and says:"Everyone says that Claire." He stands inches away from here, he can feel Claire breathing heavy. Claire says while looking at the other side:"I have to take a shower Damon." He grins and says:"I'm not stopping you from taking a shower." He leans forward and whispers in her ear:"Stop staring at me, you've already undressed me with your eyes." He walks around her and leaves the bathroom.
Claire puts her hand on her fast beating heart and says:"This is so bad, stupid heart!" Aftre awhile Claire and Damon went to eat ice cream with Lexy. They talked the whole time and had lots of fun, Lexy kept looking at Claire. Whenever Damon stood up to answer his cellphone, Claire would stare at him till he turns around. Lexy looks at Claire and says:"Claire, Stefan told me everything what you said to him this morning." Claire looks surprised at Lexy and says:"oh, so he told you. Could we talk about this later Lexy, cause I don't want Damon to hear anything about this." Lexy sighs and says:"No, we're gonna talk about this right here and now." Claire looks at her hands and Lexy:"You need to know how you feel about Damon, cause I don't want him to get hurt." Claire keeps staring at her hands and says:"I will never hurt Damon, It's just I think I really fell in love with him again." Lexy smiles and pats Claire on her shoulder and says:"Finally you said it out loud, I kept waiting years to here these words." Claire looks at Damon and says to Lexy:"I kept hiding my feelings for him, all these past years. When I met Klaus I totally forgot my feelings for Damon, and now they're starting to rise again." Lexy sighs and says:"I'm really happy, so now you're gonna tell Damon the feelings you have for him." Claire shakes her head and wipes her tears and says:"I can't I love Klaus, I just need to hide my feelings for Damon again."
Lexy sighs and says:"Did something happen between you two yesterday?" Claire looks at Lexy and says:"He kissed me." Lexy shouts:"WHAT?!" Claire chuckles and says:"Yes, he told me that he still loves me. And that he will always love only me." Lexy looks at Claire and says:"And you liked it? am i right?" Claire smirks and says:"Yes, but I just did as iff nothing has happened." Lexy leans back against her chair and says:"That's so like you Claire, you're an idiot. I know the feeling when Damon kisses you, he's a professional." Claire starts laughing and Lexy grins, Damon enters the Ice cream shop again. He go's to the two girls, and smiles when he sees them laughing. Damon looks at Claire and says:"Claire tell me what are you laughing about?" Claire blushes and lexy says:"So let's go shopping, and head to a bar." Lexy leaves the shop and grins, Damon grabs Claire's arm and says:"What made you blush, tell me Claire?" Claire grabs her cellphone from the table and says:"Nothing she just told me things about Alexander." Damon sighs and says:"Oh I thought you where talking about a Hot guy who looks alot like me." Claire grins and says:"Cocky much?" Damon smirks and says:"Very much Claire." They both leave the store and find Lexy waiting for them in Damon's car. They get into the car and Damon drives them to some stores.
~After 5 hours~
In all these Hours Claire, Damon and Lexy went shopping. Visited the most amazing places in New York, they took pictures near the Liberty Statue. And played soccer in the Central Park, Lexy was keeping an eye on Claire the whole time. She saw that Claire and Damon had fun together, Lexy sighs and says:"I really hope that you two will become a couple." After awhile they're all sitting in a Bar, Damon pours 30 glasses full of Bourbon. He looks at Claire and lexy and says:"Okay, we're gonna play a game. The first one who finishes 10 glasses first wins. The winner can choose what we'll do after this." Lexy smiles and says:"Let's do this!" Damon counts to 10 and then they start, Lexy drinks 7 and sighs. Damon keeps drinking and Claire drinks her last one and shouts:"Hell Yeah, I won!" Damon and Lexy both laugh, and Damon says:"Claire I won, but i just poured my glasses full again." Claire pouts and says:"Why did you do that? I really thought that I have won." Damon grabs his glass and says:"I love to see you smiling." He drinks his glass at once, Claire blushes and looks at Damon. Lexy stands up and says:"I'm gonna grab my housekeys from your car Damon, Alexander needs them. I'll be back in a second." She shakes her head when she sees that Damon is staring at Claire. Lexy leaves the bar and Damon stands up and says:"So I'll let you choose what you can do."
Claire smiles and says:"Okay, but i don't have an idea what we will do." Damon grins and says:"Well why don't we go play darts." Claire smiles and says:"Let's go play." Damon pulls Claire from her chair, she trips over her shoes and falls against his chest. Damon smirks and says:"Iff you have any other plans, I don't mind." Claire blushes and pushes Damon away, she grabs some darts and starts throwing them. She sighs and says:"I can't play this, Damon Help me." Damon stands behind Claire and grabs her hand, he showes her how to throw darts. Damon says:"Now try throwing them, the way i showed you." Claire throws and hits it straight in the middle, she smiles and says:"You're awesome, thanks for teaching me." She turns around and sees Damon's face inches away from her face. Damon looks her in the eyes and says:"It's a pleasure to help you Claire." She stares at his lips, Damon sees that he looks the other way. Claire sighs and turns around, she then turns again and Kisses Damon. He looks at her surprised, but then he just kisses her back. They kiss each other as iff they're life is depending on it.
Damon is the first one to break their kiss, he looks at Claire and says:"Claire why did you do that?" Tears fall down on Claire's cheek, she looks at Damon and says:"I can't longer hide my feelings for you, I've always loved you. Even when you where still in love with Katherine." Damon looks at Claire, he wipes her tears and says:"I love you more than anyone Claire, I've been waiting for you." He puts his hands on Claire's cheek, he gives her a gentle kiss on her lips . They both didn't notice that a girl with blond hair, was looking at them with a sad look on her face...
