chapter 16: Old and New friends
Claire tries to open her eyes, she can't open them. She feels as iff she hasn't slept for years. Claire hears some voices, they're shouting at each other. Suddenly she hears someone falling against something hard. It's the sound of a car, she tries to open her eyes again. She opens her eyes and sees Damon and Klaus shouting at someone. When flinches her eyes a few times, she sees That Kol punches Damon right in the face. Claire sits straight, but breaths heavy when she feels that every part of her body is hurting.
Claire realizes that she's in Damon's car, She opens the door and tries to step out of ot. But she ends up falling on the ground, Kol runs to her and helps her to stand up. He looks angry at Damon and Klaus, He shouts at them:"You bastards! You let her drink Vervain without realizing it! Have you guys totally gone mad?! Vervain hurts her more than it hurts any other vampire! She's a Vampire witch for god's Sake!" Klaus looks at his younger brother and says:"Calm down little brother, we where just going to prevent her from any danger."
That did it for Kol he snaps:"Shut it! You where about to take her to New Orleans, And you say you where going to prevent her from any danger. Well geuss what!? YOU HURT HER YOURSELF!" He picks Claire from the ground, In bridal style and Leaves with vampspeed. Klaus sighs and says:"Well that's my brother Kol, always saving Claire." Damon looks hurt and says:"We hurt Claire, I hurt her." Klaus looks at Damon and puts his hand on his shoulder. He then says:"I know Claire, she will understand once we explain to her why we did that."
Damon noddes and says:"Where did he take her?" Klaus smiles and says:"She's save, Kol will take care of her." Damon sighs and says:"Well let's get something to drink, wanna drink with me?" Klaus grins and says:"Off course mate." Meanwhile Claire is laying in a soft bed, Kol opens the door of the room. Claire sees him holding a plate full pancakes and sliced strawberries and bananas. Claire sits straight and sighs, she looks at Kol and says:"It hurts like hell, I'm so not getting used to this pain. After all these years..."
Kol looks sad and says:"I know, I wish I could take that pain away from you." Claire smiles and Kol puts the plate on the table. He then sits beside Claire on the bed, She hugs him and says:"I missed you, I haven't seen you for weeks." Kol smiles and says:"missed you too mate, I had a feeling that something would happen to you." Claire grins and says:"You always say that, and you're always right. I geuss you're soulmate." Kol grins and kisses Claire on her cheek, she smiles and says:"Now don't start getting all muchy Kol, could you give me those pancakes? I'm starving."
Kol smiles and gives the pancakes to Claire, they both start eating. After awhile Kol and Claire are sitting in the livingroom. Claire sighs and says:"You don't have to pamper me like a baby." Kol grins and says:"Don't tell me that you're not enjoying this?" Claire chuckles and says:"Nah, I love it! So what are we going to do now?" Kol sits beside her and gives her a gamecontroller. Claire smiles and says:"Nice! Playstation, You know I'm gonna win right?!" Kol lifts an eyebrow and says:"Now don't get all full of yourself Claire, I'm the best gamer in the family."
Claire laughs and says:"Well, I'm not family and I'm better than you." Kol looks sad and sighs he looks at Claire and says:"Is it true that you don't love Nik anymore?" Claire looks surprised at Kol and says:"who said that? I never said that I don't love him, I only said that I also love someone else." Claire realizes what she said and stares at her fingers. Kol looks at Claire and says:"Who's the other guy?" Claire sighs and says: "Damon" Kol puts his hand on his forehead, and says with a worried look on his face:"Does Nik know that?"
Claire noddes and Kol sighs, he says:"I won't judge you and I won't say anything bad. I just want you to know, that I will always be there for you. You do realize you have to choose, one of them someday." Claire grabs Kol's hand and says:"I know, but I can't choose now. I love Klaus for over a century now, and I have loved Damon alot longer. But I can't choose one of them, because I love both of them equally." Kol pats Claire on her shoulder and says:"I understand, I will support you no matter who you choose."
Claire grins and says:"I could kiss you right now, you're such a sweet guy." Kol smirks and says:"Then go on, kiss me." Claire laughs and says:"Shut up Kol! let's play." He smiles and starts playing, Claire smiles and says:"Kol.." He keeps concentrating on the game and says:"yes Claire" Claire sighs and says:"Thank you for always being there for me. I don't know what to do without you." Kol grins and says:"That's me, your personal Hero." Claire laughs and kisses him on his cheek, Kol smiles and says:"We're gonna have a 'NO BOYFRIEND ALLOWED' day."
Claire noddes and says:"Okay, iff you say so my hero." Kol smiles and they play further. Meanwhile Stefan is leaning against The livingroom wall, in the Salvatore mansion. He sighs and says while looking at Damon and Klaus drinking:"WhY are both of you drinking together?" Damon sighs and says:"Don't you need to groom your hero hairdo upstairs?" Klaus laughs and says:"He's right my dear friend, your hair is fascinating." Klaus smiles and his dimples are showing. Damon grins and Stefan ignores both of them, he sighs and says:"Where's Claire?" Klaus stands up and says:"She went to Kol's house, we put some vervain in her drink."
Stefan looks mad and snaps:"WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!" Damon sighs and says to Klaus:"I told you to shut your mouth, but Noooo... No one listens to Me." Klaus glares at Damon and says to Stefan:"Well I just wanted to save her from what's coming. Mikael is alive again, and he wants to kill me and Rebekah." Stefan sighs and says:"That doesn't have anything to so with Claire." Klaus looks mad at Stefan and says:"Are you stupid? She has everything to do with this, iff he knows that Claire and I are a couple. He will kill her and everyone I care about. Including you my dear friend."
Stefan smiles and says:"I didn't know that, I understand why you did it. I just hope Claire wont be mad at you guys." Damon grins and says:"Well then everyone agrees, let's drink on it." Klaus smiles and says while holding a full glass in his hand:"To our old friendship Stefan, and to our new friendship Damon. Cheers!" Damon smirks and says:"Cheers Buddy!" Stefan smiles and says:" Cheers Klaus!" The three of them drink and start talking about many things, They're thinking about a plan to kill Mikael iff he comes to town.
Claire shouts:"I did it! Finally I won after losing 8 times." Kol laughs and says:"You're not ashamed to say that you lost 8 times. No girl will ever say that." Claire winks Kol and says:"I'm a special girl, Don't forget I'ma vampire witch." Kol grins and says:"You're so full of yourself. But I agree, you're indeed special Mate." Claire grins and says:"I'm bored, what are we going to do now." Kol grins and says:"Now, we're gonna put our shoes on. And go to another town, I wanna go to a nightclub." Claire lifts an eyebrow and says:"Klaus doesn't like Nightclubs, he won't let me go."
Kol sighs and says:"You're with me now, Nik has to keep quiet. Well then stand up, we're leaving right now." Claire smiles and runs to the bathroom, she puts some make up on. And after an hour they're at a Nightclub, Claire smiles and says:"It's good to be here, I missed this feeling." Kol grins and says:"Well then let's party till we drop Claire." Claire noddes and they both go to grab some drinks. After many drinks Claire finds she's dance alone without Kol. Many people are dancing beside he, she walks and starts searching for Kol.
She finds him surrounded by 4 girls, they're all talking to him. He has his usual smirk on his face. When he sees Claire he winks her, Claire shakes her head and smiles. Claire walks towards the Bar and sits on the barstool. The bartender sees her and says:"What would it be for this beautiful lady?" Claire smirks and says:"A bottle of Bourbon please." He noddes and says:"Right away beauty." Claire breaths in and smiles, it's been many years since she last came to a nightclub.
Claire pours her glass full and drinks it at once, a guy beside her chuckles and says with an english accent:"You're the first women i see drinking like that." Claire pours her glass full again, and grins she looks at the guy. He has Dark brown hair and brown eyes, he's wearing a Light brown leather jacket. Black pants and a black shirt, Claire smiles and says:"Well that's the second time I heard that today." The guy smiles and says:"Nice to hear that, You're drinking alone. Boyfriend drama?" Claire shakes her head and drinks a mouth full of Bourbon.
She sighs and says:"Just enjoying this moment, I haven't been to a Nightclub in years." The guy smiles and says:"You're talking as iff you're 60yrs old." Claire grins and says:"You'll be surprised how old I am." The guy grins and says:"Then surprise me, how old are you?" Claire looks at him and says:"I'm 400yrs old, I told you you'll be surprised." The guy looks surprised and whispers quietly, only a vampire ear can hear that:"You're a vampire." Claire noddes and says:"Yup, and so are you."
The guy grins and says:"How do you know that?" Claire smiles and says:"I saw you drinking from a girl's neck a few minutes ago." The guy chuckles and says:"You're smart, well nice to meet you. My name is Lorenzo, but my friends call me Enzo." Claire smiles and shakes Enzo's hand, she says:'My name's Claire, nice to meet you Enzo." He smiles and Claire says to the bartender:"Give me another bottle, and a glass." Enzo grins and says:"To our new friendship Claire. Cheers!" Claire smirks and says while holding her full glass in the air:"To our new friendship Enzo, Cheers mate!"
Hell Yeah!finally, I've been waiting so long to put Enzo in this story.
I hope you guys liked this chapter, I know it's long again...
