Hey guys, I'm so sorry for not having this chapter up until now, but as you all know I have been REALLY busy. And I also got stuck on Writer's Block. But I got out, and I have finally finished this chapter! I hope you guys like this chapter, and if it seems a little rushed... oh well :P #SorryI'mNotSorry

Sky's POV-

I grunted as I pulled my butter sword out of my enemy's body, using all of my strength to do so. I staggered backwards as I pulled it out, but I caught myself before I fell off of Derpollolus's body. My sword was dripping in blue blood, and I stared towards the blood in unwavering hatred. Normally, I would have felt sick at realizing how brutally I had killed him, but no such emotions flooded through me.

Right then, I heard a strange voice enter my head. "You feel this power that floods through you? Take control of it, my apprentice. Don't let your human feelings take over, let this gift that I have bestowed upon you flood through your veins and take control of you," It whispered, the voice being wispy and quiet. I looked around, thinking it was a person close to me that had said that, but I didn't see anyone around me. Closing my eyes, I then tampered slightly with the power that I knew flooded through my veins. It began to seep into my blood, and it gave me such an adrenaline shot that I gasped in shock. However, this felt good. I looked to my gloves, which seemed to be growing slightly darker. A small smile appeared on my face, and then I began to laugh. It started quiet, but slowly it became louder. I could sense my eyes turning white, and this time, I was not afraid to let it take over.

All of a sudden, I felt someone tackle me down. The evil seemed to be knocked out of me, and I hit Derpollolus's dead body hard. The breath was also knocked out of me, and I sat there gasping for breath trying to breathe again. Turning my head, I then saw that the person that sat over me was Sierra. She had a frantic look in her eyes, and she seemed to have a scared expression implanted on her face. "Oh, thank Notch I got to you on time!" Sierra exclaimed, throwing herself on me in a quick hug.

Coughing, I then felt as sweet air filled my lungs, and I felt my hungry lungs take in its source of energy. Sierra released me, and it was then I noticed that she had tears lining her cheeks. "I thought I had lost you, Adam. The... the evil in you is growing, and it is beginning to take over more. You have to control it, Adam, or else... something bad might happen to you," she said, and then she buried her head in my shoulder. Patting her back softly, I then looked down to the ground. All of my friends stood there, exhausted looks lining their eyes. They too looked scared, and many still had gaping mouths open.

"Shh, shh, it's going to be OK, Si. I'm sorry, I guess I let that take over me a little more than I wanted to... I am so sorry. I promise I will make sure to watch it and make sure that nothing happens ever again," I said, burying my head into her hair in a loving embrace. We sat there on the dead body for a minute, and then Sierra pulled away from me. She wiped away the tears on her face, and then I put a hand on her cheek. "I promise that I will try my best to fight it off next time. I swear upon my life."

"I know, I get it, but it just scared me when I saw you standing there laughing evilly. The white glinted off of your sunglasses, and I knew that he was taking over again. I had to stop it, for everyone's sake. It just scared me, that's all," Sierra said, looking to me in worry.

Blinking several times, I then felt the evil begin to pulse through my body again. The feeling of satisfaction began to grow within me, and it took all my power in order to control it. The feeling felt so good, but I couldn't let it take over. For the sake of my sister and my friends. For the sake of the world, as well. Smiling softly to her, I then gave her a quick kiss on the forehead. "I won't try to scare you and the others again, Sierra. Now, come on, let's get to the others and head to the next weapon location." I stood up and I held my hand out to my sister, who took it and hauled herself up. We carefully climbed down Derpollolus's body, and as I touched the ground, my friends swarmed onto me. Dawn threw herself on me, and she began to sob. I comforted her carefully, and then I looked to my friends that surrounded me.

"Sky, are you OK?" Deadlox asked, brushing his hair quickly from in front of his eyes. Many others echoed his question.

"Yeah, I am fine. I just... I almost allowed the evil to take over me, that's all. It was by pure accident," I said, which calmed everyone down quickly. However, guilt began to build up inside of me. I was not telling the whole truth... and I felt that I couldn't for the sake of my friends. "Guys, our new objective is to get the next weapon, which Ant will tell us where the closest one is."

Ant turned to everyone, and then he said, "I believe the next closest is the Slasher Sabers in the Squahara Desert. It is about a two days journey from here, which, if we leave now, we can easily make." Without another word, everyone followed behind Ant, and I pulled back to protect the group. Dawn tugged at me gently, but I just shook my head and allowed her to slip forward and walk next to Si and Annie, or Vengelfe.

Looking down to my hands, I then saw them grow darker again. The gloves seemed to be pulsing with some sort of peculiar magic, and I carefully tugged off my gloves and examined my hand. It seemed normal, but then I turned my hand to look at my palm. My blood veins in my hand were a darkish purple color, which I knew was not natural. At that moment, I heard a small whooshing to my left, and I picked up my head slightly. As I looked over there, I noticed that a giant mirror had appeared close to me. I became extremely curious on what that was, so I carefully approached the mirror. As my image appeared on the mirror, I quickly saw two other images come up beside my image. Both blinked several times, and then they looked to me.

"Skybrine, Skotch, what is happening to me? Why can I no longer control my evil that is inside of me?" I asked, pulling on my glove again and securing it in place once more.

Skotch looked to me, and then he adjusted his weapon quickly. "The evil is growing. As long as you continue to get the weapons to summon Notch, your evil will grow. By the last weapon, the evil might take over your body completely. But that is something that has to happen sadly. I had to go through it, and so did Skybrine. Either way... you will have to go through this phase."

"What if I don't want to go through this? What if I just want to go back to my old, normal life, where everything was great?" I asked, tears beginning to build up in my eyes. I had to go through this pain and suffering, no matter what. I really didn't want to do that.

Skybrine looked to me in anger. "Stop being a pussy-willow, Adam. You have to stay strong throughout this trial, no matter what. If you don't... you may lose your family and friends for good. That's..." he sighed, "That's what happened to my family and friends. That's why I so willingly became this... creature, was because I lost everyone I loved. Don't let that happen to you."

I looked to my hands once more. I understood what he was trying to say to me. Even though I didn't want to do it, I had to. Looking back up to the mirror, I then glanced to both beings before me. "OK, I understand. Thanks for the support... I guess." Both beings nodded, and then slowly, along with the mirror, they disappeared into nothing. Straightening up, I then turned to look to my friends, who were a good distance in front of me. They all looked worn out, beaten up. The horror filled me when I realized that they were dragged into this mess with me. I shook my head. They deserved to be happy, not to be worrying about survival out here. They should have been saved and healthy, not being outcasts and to the brink of death at every other place we go.

I had to figure out a way to stop this madness and get everything back to the way it was... before it is too late.

Herobrine's POV-

In silence I sat as I watched the scene unfold before me. Sky and his friends had begun their adventure to the next location, completely oblivious to what was going to be ahead of them. They never did know exactly what was going to come of them. All they knew was that they had to survive until the end of the journey.

"Lord Herobrine, I have a message for you," a lone Zombie Pigman guard said, although in reality he was grunting what he said.

Turning to look down to the creature, I then said, "Who is it from, servant?"

"From three mysterious beings called Derp, Derpy and Derpious."

Recognition rang through my head as I recognized those names. Sitting forward, I then said, "Bring the message to me." The guard grunted, bowed, and then he turned and walked away to get the message. My eyes never left the door as I waited for the message to come. The three used-to-be Squids were acting as spies in Sky's ranks, although I already had several spies in there. They must have been upset that I let their leader perish to the hands of the wretched Adam Fisher, but I had dealt with that sort of anger for millions of years.

Finally, the Pigman came running back in, a letter being grasped in his hand. Bowing down, he then passed the letter over to me, and I quickly opened it to examine the contents. I noticed that the handwriting was of the Squid language, which I had no problem discerning at all. I sat in silence as I read the letter.

"Herobrine, we know that you let our leader die to the hands of Adam Fisher. And we despise you because of what you have done. But we are going to offer you something of great worth to you. If you will assist us in defeating and destroying the Butter Lord, we will let you rule over Minecraftia completely and you won't have to worry about Squids taking over. But if you refuse, we will kill the Butter Lord ourselves and when the necklace is ours, we will not let you take over and rule. This is our offer. Don't take it lightly. -Derp, Derpy, and Derpious."

I growled slightly as I finished reading that. The Squids still had the idiocy to try and mess with the King of the Nether. Too many times have they betrayed me because they want to rule as well. Not any longer, however. "Servant, I want you to write a message back to these Squids and send it back to them as soon as you can," I said, looking down to the Pigman. He nodded, scrambled around to find a paper and a pen, and then he looked back up to me to wait for the message.

Breathing in, I then said, "Write this exactly as I say it: You three have a nerve coming to me and asking for assistance. But I will not aid you in any way. If you wish to kill the Butter Lord, fine by me. But you will die when I come to take over Minecraftia to rule it for myself. No matter what the circumstance, I will end up ruler, and nothing will stop me. Not even simple Squids-turned-Minecrafter like yourselves can stop my rule. When the moon will turn as red as blood, that is when your doom is to come. -Herobrine."

The Pigman grunted as he scribbled that message, and then when he was done he turned, bowed once again to me, and rushed out of the room. I sat back on my throne, and I closed my eyes as I felt anger take over me once again. "Not even Sky or Notch can stop me now," I muttered, feeling as I then conjured up a fireball of complete energy and held it in my palm, ready to strike it at any poor soul who dared walk into my presence without my say-so in it.

Jerome's POV-

The Squahara Desert is a very famous and deadly desert. Not many people pass through and make it out alive at the end. Most end up getting caught in the dangerous sandstorms that rage through the biome, while others end up getting dragged down and sucked up by quicksand that hide out of sight. But we had to pass through it. We had to stop Herobrine, and the only way to do that was to get the weapon which was stored somewhere in the desert.

We all moved together as if a giant mob through the desert, trying not to get blown away by the deadly winds. I stood near the outside of the group, and I flinched as the grains of sand slashed at my skin beneath my fur and pelted me nonstop. "Why do we bring this pain upon ourselves sometimes?" I asked Adam, who stood close by me.

Sky shrugged. "We will be in even more pain if we let Herobrine take over and rule Minecraftia. Not only will we lose our freedom, but we may end up losing our lives as well. No one wants to die, that is a given. We have to do this, however, to let those who have perished on our journey know that they did not die in vain." Silence came once again as we kept on trudging on, barely lifting our heads up in fear that we might be blinded by the blistering sand.

For many minutes we walked in silence, only hearing the sound of the sand that blew past us at very high speeds. Many times several of my friends collapsed, and we had to help them get back up so that they could keep on moving. That happened once with me. After being pelted nonstop by the sand, I finally felt my legs collapse on me, and I fell to the ground, feeling the hot sand sting my sore body. I couldn't get up, my legs wouldn't allow it. I could barely grasp onto my Betty, which was hanging to the side of me. A moment later, I felt someone put their hands on me and lift me up. Looking over to the person, I then saw that it was Sierra. She looked just as exhausted as I was, but she still stopped trekking to help me. That made my heart swell in happiness. I looked into her eyes, and I froze as I then saw that her eyes had changed. I don't know what the cause was, but I had never noticed before then. Her eyes, instead of being emerald green and diamond blue, they were primarily diamond blue. She also looked much different. Her body was a lot thinner than it was before, and I could see her robot parts that were hidden underneath her skin a little bit more. They came out a little more obvious, and she did not look healthy. Her skin was more of a yellow tinge instead of the normal tan color she had, and I cringed when I saw her. Sierra looked horrible. I felt so bad for her.

"Sierra, you don't have to help me," I said softly, watching her as she struggled to haul both me and her. "You can call Sky or Bajan over to take over, you don't have to haul me along with you."

The young girl shook her head, looking over to me. "I'm not going to do that. I have to prove that I am strong, prove Herobrine wrong that I am not weak... I am also not going to let my best friend fall behind. I'm going to be here for you, Jerome." She smiled weakly, and I smiled back to her.

We continued on like this for a while, and soon, I began to even feel Sierra start to give out. So, pulling up whatever strength I had, I began to help her as well. We both supported the other, and we worked together to keep on walking. That's how many others were as well. Someone was supporting someone else, and nobody was walking alone. We all were more or less in the same state, and we had to help each other to keep on pushing through.

Suddenly, like a miracle, the wind stopped blowing. When it stopped, me and Sierra looked around, and became confused. Apparently so was everyone else. Murmurs flew around between all of my friends, and soon we all turned our attention to Ant, who was being supported by Gizzy. AntVenom looked up and around, and immediately he pushed himself away from Gizzy's hold. Once he did, he stumbled slightly, but then regained his balance quickly. "I think... I think we are close to the Slasher Sabers," Ant said, blinking as he looked around the area.

"How do you know?" Bashur asked, who was being supported by Bodil, who looked just as weak as Bashur did.

"This of this kind of storm like a hurricane. There is an eye of the hurricane, where there is complete calm. That is the center of the storm. The center of this storm is the main source of it, which just so happens to be the Slasher Sabers."

"So then where is it then? I don't see any special building or anything that would suggest it held the Slasher Sabers," Alix said, glancing around the desolate area they were in. All they could see was the shield-like form of the storm that they had exited, and nothing else in their view looked strange or out of place.

Mitch stood up all the way, releasing himself from Ray, who was supporting him at that point. He then began to walk forward, but because of the long amount of time that we had traveled through that storm, he was sore and injured like the rest of us. His skin was bright red, and I could see small scratch-like marks that ran across his face. "Easy, we just have to search this area. It obviously has to be around here somewhere," Mitch said, walking forward with confidence in his walk.

Not even a second later, Mitch plummeted out of view. We all cried out in surprise, and I released myself from Sierra to run forward to the spot where Mitch had plummeted. However, since everyone else was doing the same, I ended up tripping into it as well, falling straight through the sand. I screamed, and a couple seconds later, I felt my body slam into someone else. I knew that I had fallen on Mitch.

"Don't follow them down there, don't fall in!" Adam cried out, his voice sounding quite a ways up from me and Mitch. Nobody else came down, which was good for the both of us.

"Are you guys OK?" Sierra yelled down to us, worry filling her voice completely.

Groaning, Mitch then pushed me off of him, and I tumbled to the side of him, trying to still get the air in my lungs to return to me. Mitch sat up, and then he cried up, "Yeah, we're fine. Just don't come down here!"

Sitting up, I glanced over to Mitch. His brown hair was ruffled and dusty, and he had a smug of dirt on his cheek. He looked agitated, so I decided not to ask him how he was doing. Coughing, I then felt the air returned to my lungs. It felt sweet to breathe again. Swallowing, I then took a look around where we were. We were in a room of stone bricks, and on the far side of the room there was a thin hallway that at the very end was a wood door. I pushed myself up, shaking slightly as I did so. I turned to Mitch, who was still sitting on the ground, and I held my hand out to him. Mitch to my hand as if shocked, and then carefully he took it and I pulled him up.

"Where are you guys? What do you see around you?" Ant's voice echoed, and I looked up to the hole where it lead up to the top.

"We are in a... room of stone bricks. It looks like we have to go through here to get the weapon. Stay up there, me and Mitch got this covered," I responded, and then I glanced over to Mitch. Even though we were fighting, we had to work together to get out of here and to get the weapon.

"Are you guys sure that you can get it alone? You don't know what could be down there to kill you," Dawn's voice asked.

I nodded, and so did Mitch, although they couldn't see it. "Yeah, we'll be fine. I mean, we are the Hunger Dean champions, we can do this," Mitch cried up back to them, "don't worry. We will be back soon, just stay up there and maybe find a way to get us out soon."

Mitch then turned to me, and he looked me directly in the eyes. "I know that we are not exactly on good terms right now, but we need to push all that crap aside and work together like the best friends we are... used to be... whatever it is now. You ready to go into the depths, my Bacca?" Bajan asked, holding out his hand to me.

Smiling, I then said, "As ready as I will ever be." I grasped onto his hand, and then we quickly shook hands. We then turned to the door down the long hallway, and we began to walk down there. I walked behind him, holding Betty tightly in my hand. Mitch held his Devious Dagger in hand, it glowing slightly and giving the room a light bloody-red glow. Mitch pushed open the door, and then he froze.

"Oh, you got to be screwing with me now," Mitch said, groaning in annoyance. I looked over his shoulder, and froze when I saw into the next room. The next room was a parkour room with lava on the bottom and cactus pillars near the stone pillars that protruded out of the ground. Just great. "Well, this is the only way through, so we have to jump this carefully," Mitch said, sheathing his dagger.

I grasped onto his arm, which made him look over to me. "Dood, you better not fall. This is not like the Hunger Games where you die and then come back to life. When you die, that's game over. Be careful, please," I softly said, looking to him.

Mitch nodded. "I'll be careful." He turn around, and he carefully began to jump from stone pillar to the next. I followed close behind him, making sure that he didn't fall and that I didn't fall either. At the second to last jump, Mitch almost slipped, but I managed to grab onto his jacket and pull him back. "Thanks, biggums," Mitch said, smiling towards me. I nodded, and then we continued to jump over the lava. The room was very hot, the boiling lava burning up the ends of my fur with its blasting heat.

We made it into the next room, and when we walked through the door, we stopped walking and surveyed the next area. This room was one filled with water, and only a very small path zigzagged through the water. "This doesn't look that bad," I said, and then I began to walk forward slightly. All of a sudden, Mitch pulled on my suit.

"No, biggums, don't get into the water!" he cried out, fear filling his eyes.

"It's only water, Mitch."

"Yeah, that's what they want you to think," Mitch said, and then he quickly pulled a piece of rock out of his pocket. Why he had it in there in the first place I didn't know. He quickly threw it into the water, and a moment later, the rock exploded in a shock of lighting. "Electrocuted water. This is just getting better and better."

"Well, all you got to do is avoid the water, that's all," I then said, and I began to walk forward, making sure to only keep to the path of stone. I held my arms to the sides of me, which helped me with my balance. Mitch cautiously followed close behind me, and we carefully made it through the path without too many issues. Well, except for the fact that my foot ended up slipping into the water slightly because of the slickness of the stone, and I felt almost a thousand volts of electricity flow through my body. After that all of my fur stood up on end, which ended up making Mitch laugh and call me "the Fluffy Bac".

The next room was just as dangerous as that last one was. We walked in, and the first thing that happened was an arrow flew past my face. I yelped in surprise, and jumped back into Mitch. "What the Nether was that for, Jerome?" Mitch asked, annoyed by the fact that I bumped into him.

"Arrow dispensers in here. We have to run if we plan on making it through unscathed," I said, and Mitch glanced into the room. He then sighed.

"OK, you go first. I'll be behind you once the first volley fires so I will be in the clear." I nodded, and then I breathed in. Gathering all of my energy, I then stanced myself to start running, and I breathed out slowly. Right then, I launched myself forward, and immediately I could hear the arrows whizzing past my ear. But I didn't slow down once. I looked up and saw that the room turned into a slight parkour map, and then I felt my insides sink slightly. I had to keep on going, however. Going just as fast as I was, I jumped from block to block, still feeling the arrows whizzing past me. I don't know how I managed to do that, but when I made it to the door, I collapsed against it, and then when I felt the last arrows fly, I yanked it open and ran into it. Mitch came only a minute later.

"Augh, that was way too close," Mitch groaned, cracking his knuckles slightly and rotating his shoulders. I nodded, and then I froze. I pulled on Mitch's jacket, and then we both turned to look to the room that we had entered. It was a very empty room, but at the very center sitting on a pedestal was... the Slasher Sabers. They were very beautiful, and I examined it with interest. The blades gleamed golden and were very long and smooth, while the handles were very intricate. The handle was mainly gold with emerald, ruby and diamond ores studding the weapon. At the same time that it looked very girly it also looked epic. They were being crossed on the pedestal, and it gave the room a golden glow to it.

Mitch nudged me slightly, and I looked to him. He motioned with his head to the weapon, and then I sighed. I knew I had to get it. He already had the Devious Dagger, which had basically imprinted itself into him. Pulling up the courage, I then cautiously walked forward, holding onto Betty as I approached the Slasher Sabers. I constantly looked around, expecting something to appear and attack me and Mitch. But nothing came. I approached the weapons, and I held my hands out to it. I hesitated in picking it up, and then I reached forward and wrapped my fingers around it. Lifting them up off of the pedestal, I then flinched, holding the weapons above my head as I lifted my left knee into my body protectively. However, nothing happened. "Huh," I muttered, and then I shrugged. Turning back to Mitch, I then held the sabers up to him. We both smiled. We had gotten the weapon.

However, it wasn't going to be that easy to get out. Suddenly, the room began to shake, and Mitch and I stumbled slightly. I caught myself on the wall, and then I looked up to the roof. A large crack had appeared, and was beginning to spread. It continued to shake, and I began to freak out. The room was collapsing on itself. "Mitch, let's get out of here!" I cried out, and then Mitch and I turned and booked it.

We quickly passed through the arrow dispenser room, ran carefully through the electrocuted water room, and swiftly crossed the lava parkour. All the while, the ceiling had begun to crumble, and some steps behind me and begun to fall and break away. This made me want to go a lot faster than I was going.

Running into the first room that we were in, we then saw that a rope was hanging down from the top where our friends were. Clasping onto the rope, Mitch then exclaimed, "Pull us up, quickly!" Not even a second later, the rope jerked, and both me and Mitch began to be pulled up from the room. The floor just as we were being lifted up collapsed, and I looked down in horror as I saw the ground open up into a dark void of nothing. I grasped onto the rope even harder than before, and I closed my eyes tightly.

Only when I heard my friends exclaim in relief did I open my eyes again. I slumped on the surface, feeling grateful for the sand being beneath my feet. It was a lot more stable than stone bricks apparently. I felt a person attack me in a hug, and it didn't take me long to realize that it was Sierra. She buried her head in my fur, sobbing in relief.

"What in the Nether happened down there? We felt the shaking and we began to freak out," Adam said, looking to me and Mitch.

Glancing over to him as I comforted Sierra who was grateful that me and Mitch were still alive, I then smiled. With my free hand, I then pulled out the Slasher Sabers. "We got the Sabers, that's all that matters," I then said, smiling. I was grateful to be alive, because I had literally almost died back there. But we got the Slasher Sabers, and that was all that counted. Another weapon down, one less we had to worry about. With the Slasher Sabers in hand, we only had three weapons left to get, which meant we could end up going home soon. That made me all the more willing to keep on journeying. All I wanted was to go home and go back to my old life, not live as a fugitive.

"Great, that's amazing!" Dawn cried out, looking down to the sabers.

I smiled, and I looked over to Mitch. He smiled back to me, and I felt deep inside of me that we had made up. Even though we didn't say so verbally, I knew that we had become best friends again. "Hey Mitch, #Merome all the way," I said, grinning over to him like a maniac.

Mitch laughed back. "#Merome, biggums. #Merome forever."
