Jealousy, Confusion...to Unspell?
"Kakoi! Kaede-chan! You're so cool out there!" Fujii shrieked, eyes goggling at the raven-hair girl sitting next to her. "Though Sakuragi-kun sorrounded by those girls, not once you showed any hint of jealousy...you really trust him that much!"
"Ne, Kaede-chan. You think it's really fine that way. I mean, you know how popular he is...and yet you just ignored it..." Asked Matsuo, quite worried on how the raven-hair girl acted upon the situation. "You supposed to get jealous."
Rukawa shrug. Never show any emotion and uninterested at the topic. "Yeah. It's fine." She answered with annoyance on her voice. She stood and leave the other two girls at the cafeteria. 'Tch...so what if I didn't get jealous?'
"Being jealous wasn't bad that's what I think, Kaede-chan." A familiar voice stated. Rukawa turned her head only to see Mito grinning at her. "You know...sometimes being jealous just a proved how much you liked him. It's not bad to showed how you really felt about Hanamichi."
Rukawa dagger. "I trust him...that's all." She replied, annoyed and continued to walked.
"I know...but he might misunderstood it if you don't showed that you cared for him..." Mito still walking next to her.
"Hn?"
"Many girls and even guys after his ass...so I think it's about time for you to tame and control him...his adorable attitude towards other..."
Rukawa frown her eyebrow and look puzzle. " Is it a big deal?"
"Of course. You'll see what I'm talking about..a new rival... I guess..." He said meaningly that leave Rukawa confused.
"Sakuragi-kun! I miss you so much..." A long, dark brown-hair girl hugged Sakuragi the moment they entered the gym. "It's been a long time since the last time we saw each other...right?" And she gave him a lovingly, charming smile.
Sakuragi felt awkward at the girl's gesture, yet he beam at her . "Ne...Yoko-chan...it seems that you gone shorter...nyahahaha..." He stood straight in front of her and measured their heights differences.
"Hahaha...what are you talking about Sakuragi-kun...you're the one who grown taller and taller...and more handsome than before..." The girl answered flirtatiously.
Rukawa fell annoy on how the brown-hair girl openly flirting at her 'boyfriend'. The said girl doesn't care about the rest of the people around them. Her gaze turn at Mito who already took a spot on the sidelines along with the rest of the gundam, smirking at her.
"Ahh... Captain Akagi, welcome to our school." The girl greeted. Quite embarrassed when she realized the irritated look she received from the rest of the team. She smiled politely and approached the Shohoku team captain and the rest of the players. "Gomenasai...I am Yoko Shimamura, Takezono's team manager." She bowed her head in front of Akagi. "Please to meet you all."
Another girl next to her introduce herself as assistant manager. "Our team members starting to change for the game. Please let me guide you all to your locker room." She said, the players silently followed her.
"Let's go Sakuragi-kun." She grabbed Sakuragi's arm dragged along with her to followed the rest of the Shohoku's member.
Just right after the members reached the locker room, Yoko Shimamura throw a glimpse and sneer at Rukawa from the other side, that quietly watching her every moves.
Mito walk and stand next to the annoy raven-girl. "See..you get it now..."
"Whose that bit..." Her words cutted by Mito.
"She's Yoko-chan. Fiftieth girl dumped by Hanamichi.
"Dumped by...Hana?"
"Yes. From what I heard she just broke up with Oda. Takezono's ace player."
"So?"
"It means a lot...you know... Yoko-chan found out about you as Hanamichi's first ever girlfriend and she's willing to have him this time..."
"Tch...that's all..." She crossed her arms in her chest ready to leave, but stopped by Mito.
"Don't go crying on me..." He stated.
"Never..." Rukawa replied.
" I warned you...she was so damn serious about Hanamichi. She just let him off the hook before...but not this time. Yoko-chan might look simple and sweet, but she ain't like Haruko or Tat-chan. She's a devil on her own way." He smirked. His eyes turned at the gym, then gradually smiled. "But you know...you're lucky that Hanamichi choose you..." He muttered in a deep serious tone.
"Hn?"
"Call me crazy...but something about you keeps bugging me. I can't explain nor how to say it...I'm actually shy around girls...specially pretty ones like you...but...you're different. I mean, it feels like you're... " Mito hesitated to continued. "...ahh forget it...maybe that's the reason why Hanamichi liked you."
"Shut up..." Rukawa retorted. "I think get what you mean..." She sighed heavily, eyes turned towards the locker room, thrown a sharp glared at Yoko.
"So what's your plan now?"
"Plan?
"Yes plan. You must have plan on how to keep what yours.."
"None of your business..." And she finally leave him to joined Ayako and the rest of 'her friends' in the other side of the gym.
"Damn! How pathetic!" Someone cursed.
Rukawa turn her head. Eyes widen when she saw Aota frowning at her. "Ao... Aota? What did you...?"
"You're so pathetic I said! Just when I finally stop chasing him...there you are standing like a fool and watching that bitch taking him away from you..."
"Hn?"
"Just what the hell you think you're doing Rukawa...?"
"What?"
"You're running out of time...and stop acting cool...saying that you don't get jealous or whatever...that's so stupid. Never thought that you're such a coward person."
"Mind your own business..."
"Yeah yeah you're right... I actually did that's why I stop pestering both of you...specially him. And seeing you acting like a complete loser was pissing me off.."
"Go to hell...bitch." She murmured.
"You don't have much time left Rukawa. And you know that.. You better talk to him to know what he really felt about you...and don't try to conceal whatever feelings you have for him...or you regret it for the rest of your life. don't give a damn on what other people say...just listen to your heart..." She warned her, leaving Rukawa froze on her feet.
Rukawa was gazing outside the window waiting for Sakuragi to come home from his part-time job. Tired of waiting, she decided to sit on the bed and grab her school bag to take some book to read, yet the incident from the past month keeps coming back on her mind.
At first she can't believe that Aota actually wished to stayed as a girl for the rest of her life just to be with their team captain, Akagi. Well, that can't be helped. Imagining the male Aota and Akagi walking holding hands on the school ground was the sight she wasn't wish to witness.
She wonder if Aota's love for the captain was strong enough to throw away her past life just to be with him. If it's really worth it. But for some reason, she admired Aota's courage to risk everything, all the things she already achieved just to be with the person with Akagi. And to start a new life with him.
It's been a month since then, Aota's words still bothering her. She keeps on asking herself of what she really felt about Sakuragi. She knew that it was unfair to tell him that she love him just to be able to break the spell.
She clearly knew that she likes him, and there's no doubt that Sakuragi feel the same way too. But love? ...she still confused about her real feelings towards him..and his feelings for her. What if she went back being a boy...did Sakuragi gonna stay with her? Did Sakuragi will accept him? Or what if Sakuragi just like her now because she's in a girl form? Although Sakuragi swear to stay with her...and still like her even when she returns to her original form...there's no assurance what might really happen when they break the spell. Or what if Sakuragi accepted her for being a boy, how about the rest of the people around them? Will they accepted their relationship? There's a lot of 'if' in her mind that makes her confuse on what she really wanted and what she truly feel about the redhead.
Maybe Aota was right, she's pathetic, not clearly know about her own feelings. And one more thing that keeps on bothering was those words from Mito and the rest about being jealous. She don't care about being jealous as she's contended being Sakuragi's 'girlfriend. And she wonder on why those people making a big deal out of it. And maybe, Aota as right... Again... Don't give a damn on what other people say. Just listen to what her heart say...
Her thoughts was interrupted when he heard a voice from outside the house. She excitedly and hurriedly rose from her bed to look at the window to check it out.
Quite disappointed to see and hear Sakuragi laughing heartily at the other girl that she recognized as Yoko.
Rukawa was just out of words nor not knowing how to react at the situation. But seeing the girl holding Sakuragi's hand while the latter just laughing like a fool, strangely making her chest tighten and feel a pinch of pain.
She slowly close the curtain for them not to notice her and went back to the bed to grab the books she suppose to read. 'What the hell that do ahou doing with that girl?' She asked her self.
When she heard the door open and voice saying 'Tadaima' she immediately lay down and grabbed the pillow and pull the blanket to pretend asleep. Her mind telling her to confront him...perhaps it's the best things to do...or maybe not. But too late, as soon as she wanted to close her eyes, Sakuragi enter the room.
"Tadaima kitsune..." He greeted. "Oh...you wanted to sleep... Ja..." Sakuragi hurriedly turned his back to stepped out the room.
"Why she's with you?" She suddenly asked that made Sakuragi turned back, looked confused. And even herself not really sure why does she have to asked him about the other girl.
"Eh? She? Ahh... You mean Yoko-chan...nyahaha...she lived nearby and she started to work with me in the gas station as a cashier...that's why." He explained with a cheeky grinned on his face. He walked and sat next on the other side of the bed.
Rukawa couldn't help herself not to throw a deadly glare on him. "Stop being nice to her..."
"Eh? Why?" He asked.
"Because I said so..." Rukawa removed the blanket and sat on the bed.
Sakuragi look at her with confusion and just scratch his head, then clap his hand. "Aha! Are you jealous?" He asked bluntly.
Rukawa's eyes wide and gape at him. She felt her cheek burning and avert her gaze away from him. "Hn..."
"Nyahahaha... I knew it... You're jealous...nyahaha.." Sakuragi teased her.
Rukawa glare harder and shove him off the bed, her hands leaning on his chest. Sakuragi quite stun on her action and look straight to her eyes. "Kit...Kaede..." He almost whispered.
Slowly, she lean down and place a chaste kiss on his soft, full lips. One thing is for sure now. She's jealous. And the most important thing...is that she's in love with him no matter how you look at it...nor she deny and hide it.
His eyes widen and blush, cheek stain in red. She gently move to reach out to touch his soft red hair as he was surprise more when she move closer and whisper. "Yes...I am...jealous." She admitted without hesitation.
Sakuragi embrace her tighter and chuckle a bit. "Hehe... I always thought that you're really cold person doesn't know how to feel jealous...no matter how I get closer to the other girls... "
"Do ahou..." She moved to jabbed him lightly. Sakuragi just smirked, then pull her back closer to him. "I want you..." She murmured.
"Hm?"
"Don't make me say it again..." Raven-hair girl stared at him seriously, intimately caressed his torso down to his crotch, gently pressed on it. "Let's do it... Hana."
The redhead flabbergast. Mouth hanging open and feel his whole face burning. He avoided her gaze, then accidentally notice the calendar hanging next to his study table. "Is it tonight?" He asked nervously.
Rukawa just nod her head and position herself next to him. "Take me..now..."
Sakuragi can hear his heart beating faster and faster. He starts to stroke Rukawa's long raven hair as he move and position on top of her, staring nervously at the her. "Ano...Ka.. Kaede" he stuttered.
"Kiss me already do ahou..." She commanded.
"Ano... Kit.. Kaede.. I ... I'm so nervous." He took her hand to put in his chest.
Rukawa just smile to feel his heart beating like a crazy. "I know..."
"And..." He blushed more deeply. "I ... I don't know ...how to do it..."
Rukawa dumbfound. Taking her hand to her cover mouth, preventing a burst of laughter to come out.
"Why?...What?" The redhead asked shyly, looking at her.
"Hahaha..."she finally laughed out loud. First time in her whole life she laughed her heart out.
"I'm serious..." Sakuragi pouted, face blushed more deeply.
Slowly, her laugh gone down when she realize that Sakuragi was damn serious about the words he just said. Just to think of it, she never seen any single porn magazines or anything related to such things in any corner of the house. No wonder that he doesn't know how to do it. 'So naive...so innocent...' She thought. "Fine...let me show you..." She pushed the redhead forcefully and climbed on top of him, hurriedly took off his shirt followed by his pants along with his boxer. After, she shamelessly undress herself and pulled the blanket to cover their naked bodies.
"Ki...kitsune..."
"Shut up...just let me do it..." And Sakuragi shut his eyes tightly when he felt her lips locked against his as he felt Rukawa's soft hand starting to work on the things between his legs.
The redhead yawn and stretch his long arms when he finally woke up from the alarm clock. "Ne... Kaede...it's your turn to cook breakfast." He said, still sleepy. He turned to his right side before he opened his eyes, just to found it empty. "Kaede?...oh... Maybe she's already up." He murmured to himself.
He rest the back of his hand to his forehead and stare blankly at the ceiling, dreaming about last night. A sweet smile drawn to his sleepy face. He grab the pillow to sniff and to feel Rukawa's presence.
Sakuragi sit to grab the shirt and pants on the floor, put them on the laundry basket then hurriedly went to the bathroom. He decided to have a quick bath and dress for school, smile still visible on his face.
The moment he's done his shower and done with his school uniform, he notice a small note on his study table next to his book. He smile widely before reading it. After...a smile suddenly fade away.
He nervously and hurriedly run downstairs. It's empty. "Kaede!" He run towards to their living room...to the kitchen...and even at the backyard, but there's no Kaede to found. "Kaede!"
Once more, he read a short note written on the paper and slowly fell on the ground. Tears rolling down to his cheek... "Kaedeeee!"
