Sorry guys I haven't updated this fanfic in two weeks now... I really have a Writersblock, and only in this fanfic... Strange hmm... Chapter 22: She's come undone
Damon was holding a glass full of bourbon, he was leaning against the wall. Klaus was sighing every second, and Stefan was walking in cirkels. Damon sighs and says:"Are we going to sit here the whole day, Claire is at Katherine's house. We just need to break Katherine's door, and stab her and then we'll take Claire with us." Klaus looks at Damon and says with :"Why didn't i think of this?" Damon rolls his eyes and Stefan says:"Katherine is like Claire's best friend now, so iff we hurt Katherine.. there's a big chance that Claire will fight against us." Damon drinks his glass at once and Klaus says:"I really wanna hel her, but i don't know what to do." Stefan sighs again and then a voice behind him says:"Well you guys could definitely use some back up."
Damon looks at Elena and grins, she smiles back and Stefan says:"No Elena, you stay here. Mikael is still in Mystic Falls, I don't want him to hurt you." Damon grins and says:"Stefan, Elena's a vampire and she's a strong one." Elena smiles and says:"Thank you Damon, Stefan please just let me help you guys. Claire is like a sister to me." Tyler sighs and says:"Are we going to keep talking or are we going to save Claire?" Matt noddes and Jeremy says:"We've been planning the whole night, Matt and Bonnie are going to stay in the car. While me and Tyler are going to walk inside the house, Damon and Klaus are the once who are going upstairs. Stefan and Elena are going to be Damon and Klaus's back up."
Damon claps in his hands and says:"Now I like you Jeremy, We're going right now." Jeremy rolls his eyes and Bonnie says:"I'm gonna stay in the car because ,I'm gonna put a spell on the house. Once you enter the house, you can't leave it till i undo the spell." Damon grins and says:"Bon Bon, you're one hell of an awesome witch. You two are a smart couple." Bonnie shakes her head and smiles, Jeremy puts his arm around Bonnie's shoulders. Matt looks at Stefan and says:"Well then , let's get this started." Tyler looks at the door and sees Caroline standing there, she's holding a few vervain bombs. Caroline grins and says:"And I'm gonna trow this at Katherine bitch Pierce." Tyler laughs and Damon grins, Stefan stands up and says:"everyone's here, let's go."
After awhile...
Matt and Bonnie are sitting inside Matt's car, Bonnie just finished the spell. She looks at Damon and noddes, he noddes back and go's with vampspeed inside the house. Caroline runs after Damon and Klaus, Elena and Stefan enter the house via the windows. While Tyler and Jeremy enter the house via the backdoor. Bonnie sighs and says:"I hope this will work." Matt puts his arm on Bonnie's shoulder and says:"I hope so too." Meanwhile Damon and Klaus are standing before Katherine's bedroom's door. They hear voices, Damon smiles when he hears Claire's voice. Klaus looks at Damon and noddes, Damon breaks the door.
Katherine jumps from her bed, Claire looks at Damon and Klaus. Klaus runs with vampspeed towards Claire, he grabs her on her arm and dissapears in a second. Damon trows Katherine agaisnt the wall, she stands up in a second. Katherine breaks the leg of a chair, she runs with vampspeed towards Damon. Katherine stabs Damon right in his stomach, on that second Jeremy shoots a wooden bullet on Katherine's knee. Katherine cries out of pain, everyone leaves the house at once. Katherine runs downstairs and sees Caroline, just about to leave the house. Katherine stands with vampspeed beside Caroline, She grabs Caroline against the wall.
Caroline tries to push Katherine away, but Katherine is older and stronger. Tyler sees that the two grils are fighting, he runs towards Katherine and bites her in her neck. Katherine let go off Caroline, she turns around and snaps Tyler's neck in a second. Tyler falls on the ground, Caroline was just about to punch Katherine. But Stefan stands behind Katherine, he snaps her neck. Caroline and Stefan both grab Tyler and leave the house. Once they arrive at The Salvatore mansion, they find Claire sitting on a chair chained. Claire grins when she sees Stefan, he looks at her and smiles. Caroline went to sit beside Tyler, he was still 'sort of dead'. Bonnie was sitting on a chair and Jeremy was sitting beside her.
Damon was drinking from a bottle Bourbon, Klaus sits near Claire and says:"How are you feeling, love?" Claire looks at Klaus and says:"My hands hurt and you're starting to work on my nerves." Klaus sighs and says to no one in particular:"She's still in her 'Ripper modus'." Damon walks towards Claire, he looks her in the eyes and says:"Claire." She looks at him, sighs and says:"What do you want Damon? I'm not interested into turning my emotions back on, iff that's what you wanna know." Damon puts his hand on her shoulder and says:"Listen to me Claire, just turn on your humanity switch. Everything will be allright."
Stefan rolls his eyes and Klaus says:"You're an idiot mate, Damon we have to do this the hard way." Damon noddes ad he unchains Claire, she stands up and grins. She then runs with vampspeed towards the door, Damon stands before her. She smiles and leans towards him, Damon thought Claire was about to kiss him. He didn't move, Claire snaps Damon's neck. Klaus stands beside Claire in a second, He injects her with vervain. Claire falls on the ground, Klaus grabs her and puts her on a sofa. Tyler had already woken up again, He looks at Damon and says:"Damn, Claire really snapped Damon's neck." Caroline looks mad at Tyler, he grins and says:"Sorry care." Elena sighs and says:"Here we go again, poor Damon." Stefan noddes and Jeremy grins.
a few hours later...
Claire opens her eyes and sees Damon and Klaus looking at her. She also sees that's she's chained again, and that she's sitting on a chair. Claire sighs and says:"When are you two going to give up?" Klaus sighs and Damon says:"When you turn your humanity back on." Claire grins and says:"Well that means you have to wait an eternity, cause I won't turn them back on." Damon looks at Klaus and says:"I told you, we have to do it the hard way." Klaus noddes and Damon walks towards the curtains, Claire looks immediately at her hand. She sighs when she sees that they took her daylight ring. Klaus looks sad and says:"I don't wanna hurt you, but I also don't have a choice."
Claire rolls her eyes and Damon grabs the curtain with his right hand. He looks at Claire and says:"Just don't hate me after this." Damon opens the curtain and Claire starts screaming, the sun is burning her body. Klaus couldn't stand seeing her shout, he looks at Damon and shouts:"STOP!" Damon closes the curtain and says:"Damn Klaus, she finally starting to feel something." Klaus looks mad at Damon and says:"Don't hurt her idiot." Damon was about to say something, but he couldn't say it because They saw Claire breaking her chains.
She runs towards the curtains with vampspeed, Claire pulls the curtain open and stands in the sun. She starts screaming, Klaus runs towards her and protects her from the sun with his body. Damon closes the curtain and says:"Damn Claire, What did you think you where doing?" Claire is breathing heavy, she looks at Damon and grins. She then says:"I knew this was going to hurt you guys, more than it would possibly hurt me." Klaus was still protecting Claire from the sun, all thought there was no sun. Damon sighs and says:" We need a new plan Klaus, first we're gonna chain her up in the cellar." Klaus looks at Damon and noddes, Klaus grabs Claire on her arm and brings her to the cellar.
When they arrive there, Damon chains her up against a chair. Claire rolls her eyes and says:"You're pathetic, this will not hold me long enough. You know that." Damon sighs again and says:" But this will hold you for a long time." He injects Claire with some vervain, Claire grins and says:"Idiots, wasting your time on me." Damon leaves the cellar, when he's about to close the door. He hears Claire saying:"I knew you're gonna be like this Damon, but I never expected this from Klaus." Klaus looks sad for a second, he immediately looks at Claire and says:" I want the old Claire back, that's all." Claire shakes her head and says:"The old Claire is dead, so deal with it." Damon closes the cellar's door, and walks upstairs with Klaus.
One hour later...
Stefan was talking to Damon and Klaus, Damon stands up from his chair and says:"I reached my limit, and I don't care what I have to do. I will turn Claire's humanity switch back on." Stefan looks at Damon and says:"Damon wait, first we have to call the others maybe they have a good plan." That did it for Damon, he looks mad at Stefan and shouts:"Shut up Stefan, I've been quiet this whole damn hour. And know you want me to wait for some help? What's wrong with you?" Stefan sighs and Klaus says to Damon:"Mate calm down, we're all tired. We all want the same thing, saving Claire. So we have to..." Damon doesn't let Klaus finish his sentence, he shouts:"Oh Please, somebody snap these guys neck! Like I said, I'm out of here I'm gonna do it on my way now."
Stefan stands up and says:"Damon listen." Damon shakes his head and leaves the mansion with vampspeed. Stefan sighs and says:"I'm afraid my brother will do something, I will regret the rest of my life." Klaus sighs and says:"I'm gonna check on Claire, you do what you can mate." Klaus puts a hand on Stefan's shoulder and smiles. Klaus runs with vampspeed to the cellar, Claire hears him and says:"Enjoying the show?" Klaus leans against the wall and says:"How are you feeling love?" Claire grins and says:"Except the fact that my body is on fire from the inside. I'm dandy."
Klaus chuckles and Claire looks at him with a weird expression. Klaus notices that and says:"Why are you staring at me?" Claire rolls her eyes and breaks free from her chair. She leans against the wall, she was still chained up. Klaus looks at her and says:"I'm gonna do all it takes, to bring you back Claire. I promise you." Claire noddes and says:"I missed talking to you." Klaus couldn't believe that Claire was talking to him like before. Klaus smiles and opens the door, Claire grins and says:"Idiot, do you really think I would just turn my emotions back on Because of you?" Claire laughs when she sees Klaus's puzzled expression. Klaus looks mad and closes the door, Claire closes her eyes and falls asleep.
Meanwhile Damon was grabbing Matt on his shirt, Matt looked scared. He says to Damon:"What do you want from me Damon?" Damon walks at a fast pace and says:"I'm gonna turn Claire's emotions back on, and I need you." Matt still didn't understand why Damon needs him. He sighs and says:"Why do you need me?" Damon stops walking and says:"You're gonna shut up, or I'm gonna feed on you. All thought I love to feed on women more then men." Matt looks at Damon with a scared look on his face, Damon grins and walks further into the woods.
On that second Stefan walked towards the cellar, he found Klaus staring at Claire. Stefan says to Klaus:"Klaus, Damon told me to bring Claire to the woods." Klaus looks at Stefan and says:"Why?" Stefan says:"I don't know, maybe he has a plan." Klaus noddes and opens the cellar's door, Claire opens her eyes in a second. She looks at Stefan and says:"Finally someone else, I was getting tired of seeing those two." Stefan breaks Claire's chains off, Claire lifts an eyebrow and says:"Already giving up?" Klaus shakes his head and Stefan says:"Off course not, you have to come with us. But promise me you won't break our necks."
Claire sighs and says:"Yeah yeah, whatever you say. Just so you know, I don't have enough power to walk." Stefan noddes and Claire walks beside him, when she sees Klaus she grins. Klaus sighs and the three of them go with vamspeed to the woods. When they arrive there, they find Damon leaning against a car. Claire grins and shakes her head, she says:"So your plan is a car.. Great idea!" Damon ignores Claire and grabs Matt out of the car. Matt looks scared and looks sad when he sees Claire.
She rolls her eyes and says:"Seriuosly Damon? This busboy is your plan?" Damon was starting to get mad, he looks at Stefan and says:"Make her shut up!" Stefan says to Claire:"Claire please." Claire rolls her eyes and Damon says to her:"Turn your emotions back on." Claire chuckles and says:"nope" Damon says again:"Turn your emotions back on!" Claire grins and says:"You don't have to repeat it, I said NO!" Damon grabs Matt hard on his neck and shouts:"TURN YOUR EMOTIONS BACK ON CLAIRE!" Stefan walks towards Damon and says:"Damon, calm down you're hurting Matt." Klaus says:"Damon mate, don't hurt the guy."
Damon looks mad at Stefan and Klaus and says:"You both shut up! I don't care what I have to do, even iff it means I have to Snap this guys neck." Claire lifts an eyebrow and says:"You're bluffing." Damon says while pushing Matt on his knees:"Last chance Claire, turn your emotions back on. OR SO GOD HELP ME, i will make you feel something!" Claire shakes her head and says:"Idiot, i know when you're lying." On that second Damon snaps Matt's neck, Claire looks shocked and shouts:"Oh my god! Matt!" Stefan looks mad at Damon and shouts:"Damon, i told you to the leave Matt alone."
Damon looks at Matt and grabs his hand, Stefan sees that Matt was wearing the Gilbert ring. Stefan sighs and Klaus standds beside Claire. She was crying and saying:"Oh Matt, this is my fault! I'm sorry, I'm so sorry!" Klaus puts his hand on Claire's shoulder, she flinches and keeps crying. Damon looks at Claire and says:"Claire, Matt's wearing the Gilbert ring. He's not dead." Claire looks at Damon with tears flowing on her cheek. She grabs Matt's hand and sees the ring, Claire smiles and cries. Damon smiles and says:""You feel that weight lifting off your chest? That's emotion Claire. That's joy. Because your friend isn't dead. That's humanity."
Claire calms down and Damon wipes her tears away. Claire let go of Matt's hand and stands up. She looks at Damon and says:"My head's about to explode." Stefan looks at Claire and says:"Claire just calm down." Claire walks in cirkels and shouts:"I killed innocent people! I just killed innocent people, and Katherine..." Claire breaths out and continues:"I was spending my time, with an egoistic bitch! And Mikael he's in town." Stefan stands beside Claire and says while putting his hands on her shoulder:"Find that one thing inside of you that makes you strong. It's in there. Just latch onto it, channel everything you're feeling into that one emotion. Find the thing inside of you that makes you want to live. Let it in. Let it in. "
Claire looks at Stefan and puts her hand, on her head and says:"I can't do this, Mikael is here. and he wants to kill Klaus!" Claire stops walking and shouts with her eyes wide open in shock:"KLaus, Where is Klaus?!" Klaus stands beside her in a second, Claire looks at him and says: "You're fine." Klaus noddes and Claire hugs him, Klaus smiles and says:"You're back Claire." Claire smiles and says:"I'm back Klaus, I'm back."
Damon feels sad but smiles instead, of showing how he really feels. Stefan puts Matt inside the car and drives away. Damon looks at Claire and says:"I'm gonna see iff Alaric needs anything."Claire didn't hear him, she was too happy to see Klaus still alive. Klaus noddes and says:"See you later Mate."
