Chapter 27: Under the Moonlight (part 1)
Claire opens her eyes and doesn't find Damon sleeping beside her. She sits straight and looks around, there was no sight of Damon in his room. Claire grabs Damon's shirt from the chair, and wears it. She then leaves the bedroom, she walks down the stairs. Claire sees Damon drinking a bloodbag, she smiles and walks on her toes. Damon grins, he knows Claire is walking behind him. He smiles and says:"Goodmorning Beautiful." Claire sighs and says:"Just let me scare you for once, you're a total buzzkill." Damon chuckles and stands up from his chair, his eyes are immediately filled with love when he sees Claire. She smiles and says:"Goodmorning to you too Gorgeous." Damon was shirtless, Claire was wearing his shirt.
Damon smirks and puts his arm around Claire's waist, he pulls her against him. Claire looks straight in his eyes and says:"You have the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen." Damon smiles and says:"And you're the most beautiful girl in the world to me." Claire smiles and leans forward, Damon kisses her. It was more a soft kiss, filled with his love for her. Claire kisses him back, and moans lightly when his fangs pierce her lip. She looks at him and says:"Don't start biting me Damon." Damon grins and says:"Didn't mean to do that Claire." Claire lifts an eyebrow, before she's about to say something. Damon kisses her again, But this time with passion.
Claire kisses him back, Damon breaks their kiss. He sits down on the couch and pulls Claire towards him. She sits on his lap and grins, Damon smirks and says:"What?" Claire strokes Damon's cheek with her hand and says:"I love you Damon." Damon smiles and says:"I love you too Claire, more then anyone in this world." Claire smiles and kisses Damon, he kisses her back and puts his hand on her back. On that second Stefan, Jeremy, Matt, Tyler and Alaric enter the Salvatore Mansion. Claire and Damon where kissing as iff their life depended on it. They didn't even realise that the others looked surprised. Tyler laughs and Alaric says:"Continue this upstairs please, we don't need a free show."
Claire looks at Damon and bites her underlip, he sighs and says:"Did you really have to come here?" Claire get's up from Damon's lap, she walks towards the table filled with Bottles of Bourbon. She pours a glass full and says while smiling:"Goodmorning guys." Jeremy grins and says:"Goodmorning Claire, I see you're busy." Claire chuckles and Damon says:"We're very busy, so come back later." Claire chuckles and Damon says:"What do you want Stefan?" Stefan sits on the couch and says:"I've been thinking to go, to New Orleans. I wanna find those witches that where helping Michael track Klaus down." Damon sighs and says:"I really don't feel like thinking about that right now. Let's talk about it tomorrow."
Alaric noddes and says:"I'm going to school right now, and I'll take Jeremy with me." Damon noddes and Alaric says to Claire:"You don't have classes today, cause your classes went to California on a school trip." Claire drinks her glass at once and says:"That's good, cause I don't feel like working today." Damon grins, he knows that he and Claire are only thinking about each other. Tyler sighs and says:"I have some stuff to do, Cause it's the masquerade tonight. You all need to take a partner with you." Claire noddes and says:"I'll go take a shower and change. I'll see you tonight guys." The others smile and Matt says:"I'm going to help Tyler." Matt, Tyler, Alaric and Jeremy leave.
Stefan stands up from his chair and walks towards the frontdoor, he looks at Damon and says:"I'm happy that you two are together now." Claire smiles and Damon grins. Stefan leaves the Salvatore mansion, Once he left Damon pulls Claire back against him. She lays down on the couch, Damon kisses her. He was leaning above her, Claire chuckles and says:"You didn't feel like doing anything, but here you are making out with me." Damon smirks and says:"I always fell like making out with you Claire, never forget that." He winks her and Kisses her, Claire kisses him back. Stefan and the guys enter the Salvatore mansion again, Stefan coughs and says:"Stop for a second, let me grab my cellphone. And then you can continue doing what you where doing."
Claire chuckles and Damon leans his forehead against Claire's shoulder. She strokes his hair and Tyler says:"Have fun you two." Jeremy laughs and Matt grins, Damon rolls his eyes and says:"Close the door and don't bother us." They leave and close the door behind them, Damon lifts his head from Claire's shoulder. He looks her in the eyes and says:"Are you tired?" Claire shakes her head and says:"No, not at all. Why are you asking?" Damon smirks and says while standing up, and grabbing Claire bridalstyle. She smiles and says:"What are you doing Damon?" He smiles and says:"Just what I want to do." He then uses his vampirespeed to run back to their room. Once the two of them are in their room, They start making out again.
Meanwhile at Tyler's place, Tyler and Matt where picking up chairs and putting them around tables. Matt is holding a chair, he looks at Tyler and says:"How's it going between you and Caroline?" Tyler sighs and says:"I don't know, she says I'm acting weird these days. I don't see a difference in myself." Matt lifts an eyebrow and says:"You stood her up earlier this week, you had a date. And you never showed up." Tyler looks at Matt and says:"She told you that? Wow..I didn't know that." Matt sighs and says:"You need to talk to her, cause she's been crying all these days." Tyler noddes and says:"I'll ask her to accompany at the masquerade tonight." Matt smiles and puts the chair he's holding near a table.
Later that night...
Stefan knocks on Elena's bedroom door and says:"Can I come in Elena?" He hears her say:"Come in." Stefan opens the door and sees Elena wearing a long Bleu dress. Her dress reaches till the ground, her hair is curled and she's wearing a Blue Masquerade mask. Stefan smiles and says:"You're looking very beautiful Elena." She smiles and says:"You also look very handsome Stefan." Stefan's wearing a black tux, He's also wearing a Blue and Black masquearde mask. He smiles and says:"Are you ready to leave?" Elena noddes and they both walk down the stairs. They see Alaric kissing Jenna on her cheek, Jenna smiles and says while looking at Elena:"You're so beautiful Elena." Elena smiles and says:"You two look very beautiful together."
Alaric smiles and says:"Thanks Elena, let's get going. We don't want to be late." Elena noddes and leaves the house together with Alaric, Jenna walks beside Stefan and whispers:"You're looking hot." Stefan chuckles and Jenna winks at him, and walks towards Alaric. They all get inside the car and drive towards The Lockwood mansion. When they arrive there, they get out of the car and see Caroline and Tyler shouting at each other. Caroline sighs and says:"I can't do this anymore Tyler. It's me or that werewolve pack of yours?" Tyler looks mad and says:"I can't just leave them, cause you say so. They need me, I'm their Alpha. We're like a family, we help each other in hard times. And right now they need me." Caroline goes with her hands through her hair and says:"So you're saying, you're choosing them over me?"
Tyler's knuckles turn white, he looks at Caroline and says:"Yes, iff you really love me, you'll understand why I have to help them. I was about to say, to give me a few days to finish everything with them. And then I could take you with me, to see my werewolve pack. But it seems as iff you won't care or understand what I'm about to say to you." Caroline wipes the tears that are rolling down her cheek and says:"I'm just sick of being left alone Tyler, you've been avoiding me all these days." Tyler tursn around, he's about to walk away. Caroline stamps her feet againts the ground and says:"Iff you set one more step, we're done Tyler. There's no more getting back." Tyler looks sad and walks away, Caroline leans against her car and cries.
Elena and the others saw everything, Elena runs towards Caroline and hugs her. Stefan sighs and looks sad, Jenna stands beside Caroline and Elena. She sighs and says:"Let's get you home Caroline." Caroline shakes her head and says through her tears:"No, I want to stay here. I'll just keep cyring the whole night, Iff I go home." Elena noddes and walks with Jenna and Caroline towards Tyler's house. Stefan and Alaric both follow the girls. Meanwhile Damon and Claire where sitting in the Lockwood backyard. Claire's wearing a Black strapless dress cut at mid thigh, that accentuated her long legs. Complete with red pumps, long open hair and smokey eyes. She's wearing a Black and red lace Masquerade mask, and red lipstick.
Damon couldn't take his eyes of Claire, He pulls her closer to him and whispers in her ears:"You're looking sexy Claire." Claire bites her lip and says:"You're also looking extremely hot tonight Damon." Damon lifts an eyebrow and says:"Only tonight?" Claire shakes her head and says:"You always look hot, no matter what you're wearing." Damon smirks, he's wearing a black tux and a Black and red masquerade mask. He smiles and Kisses her, Claire kisses him back and says while breaking their kiss:"The others have arrived, let's go greet them." Damon sighs and Claire says:"We can continue this later Damon." Damon grins and puts his arm around her waist, and they walk inside like that.
Claire and Damon see Alaric and Stefan drinking a glass of champagne. Stefan smiles and Alaric says:"I thought you two wouldn't be here tonight." Claire lifts an eyebrow and says:"What do you mean?" Alaric grins and says:"You two where devouring each others bodies like hungry animals this morning. So I thought you two would want to continue doing that." Damon rolls his eyes and Claire laughs, she leans her head against Damon's chest. Damon says with a smirk on his face:"You're sounding jealous to me Ric." Alaric rolls his eyes and Claire says:"I want to drink Bourbon, Did any of you see Tyler here?" Stefan sighs and says:"Yes, he had a fight with Caroline earlier at the front of the house." Claire noddes and says:"I'm going to look for Caroline."
Stefan shakes his head and says:"You go see where Tyler is, Elena and Jenna are with Caroline. And I think Bonnie is also with them right now." Claire noddes again and says to Damon:"I'll be right back." Damon smiles and says:"Ok, see you later." Claire walks away from Damon and the others, when she arrives at Tyler's father's study room. She sees Tyler drinking alcohol, He sighs and says:"Claire." Claire smiles and walks towards him, she sits beside him and says:"I heard about you and Caroline. Ar you ok?" Tyler goes with his hand through his hair and says:"I'm not ok, I've lost the girl I love the most. I don't think she will ever speak to me again."
Claire smiless and says:"I'll talk to her Tyler, you two are such a cute couple." Tyler noddes and says:"yeah, what happened to you and Klaus?"Claire sighs and says:"I just realized that I love Damon more, and It had to happen one day. Or else I would have left this town and never came back." Tyler looks sad and says:"I hope you're happy now." Claire noddes and says:"Yes, i'm very happy. But let's not talk about me, I want to talk about you." Tyler chuckles and says:"You always care about others more then yourself." Claire smiles and says:"You're also like that Tyler, You care alot about others. Or else you wouldn't have helped your werewolve pack in Tennessee." Tyler lifts an eyebrow and says:'How do you know it's in Tennessee?" Claire grins and says:"When I have nothing to do, I just start spying on others."
Tyler looks shocked and says:"I didn't know you where such a bad person." Claire laughs and says:'I was just joking, But I kept an eye on all of you. After we killed Michael I was restless, afraid that someone may come after us all. So I sort of spyed on you all." Tyler grins and says:"Well you care about us, you're a great person Claire. No wonder those two are in love with you." Claire grins and says:"Don't tell me you also love me? Caus I can't handle too much love." Tyler and Claire both crack up laughing, Tyler fills a glass with Bourbon and gives it to Claire. She drinks it at once and sees that Tyler's looking sad again. Claire puts her hand on his hand and says:"Just cry iff you have to Tyler, I'll do a silencing spell." Tyler drops his head on his hands and cries quietly, Claire does a silencing spell and strokes Tyler's hair.
