I'M BACK, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN.
Did you really think I would leave this story to rot? I would never do such a thing
Cyberman- The. Waiting. Period. Exceeded. More. Than. What. Had. Been. Advertised.
Dalek- You will explain your reasons for delay! EX-PLAIN! EX-PLAIN!
Superiornite- My explanation? Errrrr… There was a spider.
Dalek- AL-ERT! Spiders within hostility range! EX-TERM-IN-ATE spiders!
Cyberman- All. Arachnids. Will. Be. Deleted.
*Cyberman and Dalek run off to exterminate and delete spiders*
Cyberman and Daleks do not belong to me. They belong to BBC's Doctor Who. Now, respond to the reviews.
AZTEC 13- Do not worry. I am back, and the heroes will be fighting evil wherever it shows its face.
Hockyfist- I am glad you loved it. I guess that's a point for me on making something better than the original. Yes, Mako will be a hero. Asami will have her place somewhere, you will have to wait and see. Sorry, not quite yet. And happy new years to you too.
Ashbringer36- Yeah… you could say a lot of stuff happened right at that fight. Just wait and see on the topic of Superman vs Batman. Sorry, no spoilers.
AVP5- I am glad you are thinking that. Thank you.
Disclaimer: I do not own Legend of Korra or any DC Comics characters.
In an abandoned shipping yard, the Avatar and her companion, the Kryptonian, were following the legendary caped detective of Oth-Yen, as they had been quite silent ever since the Batman warned them of a possible attack.
"Where is this secret club house of yours," Korra asked the Batman.
"Keep silent," the detective said, as he stopped right in front of a metal storage unit. He then started to work on the lock that was keeping the storage unit locked, and then unlocked it and opened the unit.
Batman still kept silent, as he entered the empty storage unit, but Korra and Clar still followed the Batman inside. The two unlikely friends watched as the dark hero switched on a switch that triggered the floor to elevate down. It was only a few seconds that this floor make shifted elevator made it to the lower floor.
Clar and Korra both observed the entire room; it looked a lot like a military grade armory, telegraph consoles were beside a medical area with an operating table ready for operation, then a complete model/map of Republic City. This place was equipped and ready for anything and was capable to work as a military base of operations.
"This is a lot more upgraded than the Archer's place," Clar commented.
"Hey I am right here, jerk!"
Clar and Korra turn to see the familiar hooded archer setting on a table, as he was sharpening his arrow.
"Or should I call you by your new title, Superman," Green Arrow asked, as he got up from his seat, and walked up to the couple.
"You heard about that," Korra asked.
"It's all over the radio. Intergangsters that took the Republic Capital were all running away from the big blue strong man with a red cape," Black Lightning said as he was walking up to them with a hand held radio.
"Hmm. That's a good name, 'Big Blue,'" Korra responded in a teasing manner, as she looked to Clar, who tried his best to try and shake off Korra's stare.
"Will you idiots stop gossiping," an irritated voice growled, where the heroes looked to see the Batman looking at a board filled with different sorts of papers that carried information concerning the Equalists and Intergang.
"Okay, so you brought us here to help out in stopping the Equalists and Intergang," Clar asked.
"Yes, and from what I have gathered, both organizations have been drafting different individuals, who have expertise in different areas," Batman presented his info. "They are planning a massive attack, and it would have to be out of the ordinary, if they want to be able to take Republic City from United Forces."
"What could be out of the ordinary?" Korra asked.
"I don't know. That is what we are going to find out," Batman said.
Meanwhile…
Asami was beside her older brother, as Mako and Bolin, who were also tagging along, were on a UF battle-airship.
"Damn. Here I thought I was just a former underdog pro-bender, and here I am in an air-warship. Maybe I should reconsider in enlisting," Bolin commented, as he looked at the accessories that the air-warship carried, but was unable to see a busy soldier walking towards him and bumping into him.
"Hey, keep eyes straight, shorty," the tall and well-built soldier, who had to be Water-Tribe, looked down at Bolin.
"I'm sorry, I got a little distracted," Bolin defended himself.
"Yeah, whatever," the soldier shrugged it off, and went on his way.
Asami paid attention to her brother, as he talked with a few military officers.
"I want these contraptions to be handed out to every air-warship. When given order, you will be ordered to place them on every available soldiers. All ordered by General Loin," Lee told the soldiers.
"Yes, sir," the officers acknowledged and went on their way.
"So what are we doing up here? Shouldn't you be down there trying to help out in trying to stop the Equalists and Intergang," Asami asked.
"Let's just say that I need to make a final presentation to the good general," Lee explained, as he walked to his next destination on the airship, while Asami and her friends followed.
They entered a room, where they saw General Loin and other high military officers that were setting down in front of a podium with curtains behind it.
"Please take a seat, sis. You and your friends. You will be witnessing the debut presentation of something spectacular," Lee said, as he walked up to the podium.
"Good evening, generals of the Republic United Forces Corp. I am, Lee Luthor Sato, and I assume that General Loin has pointed out how I have been his weapons contributor," Lee started his presentation.
"Now, as you have all found out, the Equalists and Intergang have attained humanoid shapped tanks, which have been titled, mecha-tanks. There are civilians showing extreme feats that are unlike any other, minus the individuals of the Justice Society. Will now I am here to tell you that we, the sword and shield of the United Republic, can equal in terms with these terrorists and vigilantes. Ladies and gentleman, I present to you," Lee steps out of the way, as he pulls down the curtain, to reveal a metal suit, with a helmet as the head.
"Metallo."
The military officers were now hooked on to the new mechanism in the room.
"Metallo is a new metal compound that is made up of pure properties that will make it unable for a metalbender to manipulate it. Alone, it is three times less light than your densest metal to hold the largest bridge together, but ten times stronger than that same exact metal. And with the right power source, it can reach higher feats. With the right pilot, former United Forces spec ops Master Sergeant, Jen Corin, will be the one to demonstrate," Lee kept presenting, as his personal bodyguard, who was wearing a suit that was nearly to the point to as skin tight with different paddings in parts of his chest and limbs, was walking toward the suit.
It actually did not take long for Corin to get the suit on, and was then inside the suit ready to demonstrate.
"Corin, if you may," Lee asked.
"Yes Mr. Sato. As a disclaimer, I must warn you that I am pure non-bender," Corin acknowledged, as the centerpiece of the suit's chest, seemed to have a green glowing light. "Metallo is powered up by the meteor rocks, which gives the user of the suit to be able to lift mass greater than ton without any strain."
Corin lifted an anvil that was on the display, and then dropped it back to the ground with a slam.
"It also provides the user to fire concentrated fire, which is provided by the meteor rock," Corin said, as he fired a green blast at the anvil, which started to milt.
Mako and Bolin looked in awe as they saw the suit was achieving such feats. They were waiting to see more, until the alarm went off. A soldier ran inside the room.
"Excuse me, sirs, but we are receiving reports of different areas of the city being attacked. General Loin is ordering all officers to the deck."
"What forces are attacking?" one of the officers asked.
"I… I don't know."
Meanwhile, on Air Temple Island…
"Lin, I appreciate your concern for me and my family's safety, but I am more than capable of insuring our own safety," Tenzin said to Lin, as the Chief of Police stood by her loyal detective, Jun.
"This isn't a request Tenzin. Tarrlock was attacked in the Capital, so we are heightening security for all High Council," Lin said, as she turned to Jun, and nodded as a gesture to confirm they were done there. Until a police officer came up to them.
"Chief! Chief!"
"Get a hold of yourself. What's happening," Lin asked.
"Republic City… it's… it's under attack? I don't know," the police officer tried to comprehend, as Jun looked towards Republic City.
"Chief, I think that drink may have to wait," Jun said, as he stared at Republic City, as clouds were coming out of the city. Lin was also seeing it as well, and then turned toward Tenzin.
"Do you have a bunker?" Lin asked.
"Yes," Tenzin answered.
"Get your family inside. This is an attack"
Meanwhile, in the hideout…
Clar and Korra were both waiting alongside the other masked wonders, as they heard the alarms going off.
"What is it," Clar asked.
The Batman patched into a radio scanner that was intercepting with the military activity and police.
"All units! We are under attack! Repea… Oh spirits!"
"Say again, you're breaking up."
"They are all over me! Get them off me! Pleease! AAAARGGHG!"
Batman then stopped listening and made his way into a tunnel that was leading outside into the bay.
"Hey wait up!" Green Arrow shouted, as he and the others followed. Following the marked lights in the tunnel, they found themselves on a small pier, but as they turned to their right, they could see a part of Republic City.
"Oh… my spirits," that was all Korra could say, as Clar noticed the distress in her voice from what she was seeing. The Kryptonian grabbed the Avatar's hand, as a reassurance to let her know that the world had not ended yet.
"This is only the beginning," Batman spoke, as he listened to Republic City screaming in terror, and could only see small figures from such a far distance dying as if they were facing their worst nightmare.
"Scarecrow."
The Batman has led the Clar and Korra to meet up with familiar allies. Lee seems to have announced a new weapon, Metallo. However, it seems Republic City is under siege of one of the most infamous warfare there, and it is instilling their worst fear. How well our heroes stop this madness. Will Lee actually turn out to be a real help he is trying to show to people, including his sister, Asami. Will this be Republic City's end, as the city tears its self apart?
*Cyberman and Dalek arrive*

Will, as those metal bozos are on a Mexican stand-off, all I have to say to the readers, I have not abandoned this story. Ever.
I'll update soon.
