Jason and Kenneth finally arrive at the DiLaurentis's house after a long trip. When they enter the house, they both hug Alison tight. They missed her so much, especially her dad. After a long talk with all the family, Alison really wants to talk to Jason alone about what he has done to her.
She asks Jason "Jason, can I talk to you alone? Please".
Jason is surprised but he nods "Sure." as they both go in Alison's bedroom.
Jason is the first one to speak "So...What do you want to talk about?".
Alison explains "You know what I want to talk about...".
Jason ask very worried "Did mum tell you?".
Alison answers "Yes! Of course she did.".
Jason says "She wasn't supposed to tell you.".
Alison is now angry about Jason's behaviour "Well, she did. How could you do that to me?".
Jason tries to find an explanation "I'm really sorry, Alison. I don't remember any of that...I was totally stoned.".
Alison is very upset "Yes, I know that. But if you did this, you had the idea in your mind.".
Jason feels extremely bad "Of course, not! I never wanted to hurt you or kill you. I swear.". Both now has tears on their faces.
Alison knows she wasn't nice to Jason "You had the right to be upset. I was horrible to you. I was a terrible sister.".
Jason tries to reassures Alison "I wasn't better than you, Ali. I wasn't there for you. I was always stoned...".
Alison smiles "I promise to be nicer to you. I changed a lot during my disappearance.".
Jason answers with a little smile "And I promise to be there for you if you need me. It's my job to protect you and take care of you. Deal?".
Alison smirks "Deal" as she pulls him in a short hug.
Tonight is the night, Emily will have dinner at the DiLaurentis's house, she knows Alison's family but now it's different, she is Alison's girlfriend. She needs to have their approval to be with Alison, even if she knows she already have Jessica's approval, Emily is still stressed and anxious. She always has loved Alison, she really wants their couple to last, so as Alison. It is still weird for them to be a couple, they both want that and they really love each other. But it's not so simple to become a couple when you were best friends. They had a strong friendship before becoming a couple, even if secretly they both knew it was more than a friendship, they were just too young and too scared to admit it. They took the risk to lose their friendship but both of them think it's worth the risk. They will need time to get used to this new relationship status.
Emily chooses to wear a discreet but beautiful black dress, some heeled shoes and a beige blazer. After being ready, Emily goes to Alison's house, she is anxious but also excited about this dinner. She hopes it will be all fine. She parks in front of the Dilaurentis's house, and goes to the door and rings the bell. After a moment, Alison opens the door to Emily. She is also well dressed, with a nice blue dress.
Alison looks at Emily and smiles "wow, you are beautiful".
Emily smirks "Thanks, you too!".
Alison grabs Emily's hand and pulls her into a quick kiss "Come inside". Emily follows Alison inside the house. She says hello to everyone and they sit in the sitting room, while Jessica is preparing the dinner in the kitchen.
Emily asks discreetly Alison "Do we tell them now?", after what Alison gives Emily a nod of approval. Emily gets up and takes Alison's hand to reassure herself. They go in front of Jason and kenneth who are sitting on the couch, they both look surprised.
Emily breaks the silence "kenneth, Jason, Ali and I wanted to tell both of you something important. Jessica already knows.".
Kenneth answers "We are listening to you, what is going on?".
Emily says hesitantly "What we will tell you may come as a surprise, but I always has loved Ali as more than a friend, we started dating since she came back.".
After a moment of silence, Kenneth finally manages to say after a short reflexion "Well, you are right, it's a surprise.", after what he asks his daughter "What does your mom think about that?".
Alison smiles also a little worried about their reaction "Don't worry, she is fine with that. What about you two?". Jason and Alison's dad exchange a look.
They both smile, Kenneth breaks the silence "Well, as long as you are in love with each other. I don't see any problem in that. It will just takes us some time to get used to this situation.".
Alison hugs both Jason and her dad "Of course, I understand. I just hope you will not be uncomfortable with the fact that I'm in love with a girl.".
Alison's dad answers a little coldly "I hope that too. I'm sure I will be more at ease with time. But Emily, you better take good care of my daughter. She deserves someone who truly love her. You will hear me if you hurt her in any way.".
Alison is angry at her dad for saying that "Dad...".
Emily reassures Alison "It's ok Ali, he is just worried about you." She now looks at Kenneth "Like I told you, I'm in love with your daughter for a long time now. I will do nothing to hurt her. I love her. I hope you believe me.".
Kenneth replies with a little smile "I hope so. I just wanted to warn you.".
Emily smiles "I understand . My parents would do the same for me.".
Kenneth asks the girls curiously "Did you tell them?".
Emily answers "No, we didn't have the chance. They left the town for a while, in holidays. They planned that before all these events.".
Jason asks a little worried "So, you will be alone at your house?".
Emily replies, trying to reassure them "I'm used to it. It will not be a problem. It's only for two weeks.".
Kenneth thinks about it and says "I can ask Jessica if you can stay here if you want.".
Emily looks at Alison and replies "It would be nice. But I really don't want to bother both of you or Jessica. I would completely understand if you want to spend some time with Alison alone. You must have a lot to catch up.".
Alison answers, gazing at Emily "We have a lot to catch up too. Besides, my mum adores you. I'm sure she will say yes.".
Kenneth says at both Emily and Alison "You will never know if you don't ask. Go and ask Jessica if it's okay with her.". Alison and Emily nod, as they go to the kitchen, finding Jessica.
Alison speaks first "Hi, mum. Can we ask you something?".
Jessica nods with a smile "Sure.".
Alison begins to speak, a little stressed "Like you know, Emily's parents are away from the town for a while so Emily is alone at her house. Do you mind if she stays here at the house until their return?".
Emily adds "I would completely understand if you say no. You must want spending time with Alison."
Jessica answers immediately with a smile on her face "Of course I want to spend time with my daughter, but sure, you can stay here Emily. Besides, I would like to know you more, since you are dating my daughter.".
Alison smiles and hugs her mother "Thanks mum!".
Emily adds "Thank you so much Mrs D...Jessica, sorry.".
Jessica smiles "You're welcome.".
The dinner goes well. Jason, Kenneth and Jessica seem to like Emily. They can see in both Alison and Emily's eyes that they are in love with each other. They will just need time to be at ease with that change in Alison's life, a good change. Alison gives Jason a few looks during the dinner, and Emily notes that. She decides to ask Alison about that later.
After the dinner, Kenneth says goodbye to everyone and leaves the DiLaurentis's house. He rents a bedroom in a hotel in Rosewood for a while, in order to be able to see his daughter. After saying goodnight to everyone, Emily and Alison go in Alison's bedroom, hand in hand.
After closing the Alison's bedroom's door, Emily looks Alison in the eyes and asks a little worried "Are you sure you are fine with me staying here? I really don't want to bother you or your family. I can totally stay at my house alone. It's only two weeks.".
Alison is shocked by Emily's fear to bother her. Of course she wants Emily in her house. They were separated for far too long. Alison wants to spend every second she can with Emily. She walks towards Emily and connects her lips with Emily's lips. Emily smiles into the kiss and starts kissing Alison back. She puts her hands around Alison's waist as Alison has her hands around Emily's neck. Alison deepens the kiss, she slides her tongue into Emily's mouth, beginning a battle for dominance. After a moment, they break the kiss, they desperately need some air.
Emily smiles and asks breathlessly "Is that a yes?".
Alison connects her forehead with Emily's forehead, and gazes at Emily lovingly in the eyes "Of course it's a yes. We have been separated for far too long. I want to spend every minute with you.".
Emily smirks at Alison and hug her "Thanks. Did I already tell you that I love you?"
Alison pulls away from the hug in order to cup Emily's face with her hands. She grins "Yes, actually, you did. Just for you to know, I love you too." before giving Emily a chaste kiss.
Emily lets escape a little gaping. "Can we lie on the bed? I'm exhausted...".
Alison nods and smirks "Sure." as they go to the bed under she sheets.
Emily then remembers she has to ask Alison about Jason "Ali...I saw you gazing at Jason during the dinner. Is everything fine between you and him?"
Alison answers a little worried about where the conversation is going "Yes, everything is fine. Don't worry.".
Emily knows when Alison is lying, she watches Alison concerned "No, it's not. I know when you are lying.".
Alison doesn't have the choice, she has to tell Emily the truth. She can't lie to her. "Fine! But if I tell you what is going on, you have to promise me one thing. You can't tell anyone.".
Emily escapes a little smile "Of course, Ali. You can trust me.".
Alison drops the bomb "Jason hit me with that rock. He is the one who tried to kill me." as she starts to cry.
Emily is literaly shocked by the new, she puts Alison into a tight hug "It's okay Ali. I'm here. I didn't know he would be capable of doing something like this.".
Alison admits "Me too...But please keep this for you. You are not suppposed to know. But I don't want anymore secrets between us. We have a second chance, I want to do the things right this time.".
Emily reassures Alison "Don't worry about that, I will keep this for me. But why would he do that? It doesn't make sense...".
Alison replies "Because he was stoned. He didn't know what he was doing. He doesn't remember any of this.".
Emily asks Alison curiously "Are you mad at him? Did you two talk about that?".
Alison explains "Yes, we talked about that. And not really. I think I understand why my mum did that in order to protect him. But I will never forget what happened. Jason wasn't responsible of his acts, I can't be mad at him for that."
Emily replies "I know that. But still, he tried to kill you. It will be hard to act like we didn't know.".
Alison is now a little angry and frustrated "Emily, please. He hurt me, not you. People make mistakes, and I know that more than anyone. Don't make me regret of having telling you...".
Emily says "You made mistakes but you didn't try to kill someone...It's not comparable. It's not the same level.".
Alison is a little upset "Emily, I hurt and I destroyed a lot of people, including you...I know guilt more than anyone. I have to live with my past and my mistakes like Jason has to live with what he has done to me.".
Emily doesn't understand "Why are you so nice to him?".
Alison looks Emily in the eyes, trying to explain her "I am comprehensive, that's different. It's not the same thing. And it wasn't intentional, he doesn't remember anything and he feels terrible for what he has done to me.".
Emily answers "You must really have changed. You wouldn't have said that two years ago.".
Alison says "Yes, I have changed. And I hope it's for the best. Please, don't fight about Jason, it's not worth it.".
Emily suddently realizes it's stupid to fight about Jason "We weren't...fighting. But you're right. Let's not talk about this anymore.". Alison smiles and gives Emily a chaste kiss before preparing herself to go to bed, Emily does the same. After a few minutes, they are ready to sleep. Emily and Alison lay on the bed under the sheets. Alison cuddles next to Emily. She plants her head on Emily's shoulder and wraps her arm around Emily's waist. Emily puts one of her arms around Alison's back and her other arm holding Alison's arm on her stomack.
Emily smiles "I can get used to fall asleep like this.".
Alison gives Emily a passionate kiss. Emily kisses her back. After a moment, they break apart.
Alison smiles "I love you Emily.".
Emily smirks at Alison "I love you too, Ali. Am I the only one to find that weird?".
Alison doesn't understand "What do you mean?".
Emily explains "Us, being together. It's what I want, really. It's just a little weird for me. I didn't expect this to happen one day.".
Alison is worried "Do you regret it?".
Emily pecks Alison on the lips and reassures Alison "No! Not at all. It's just that...When you were supposed to be dead. It was hard but I tried to move on. I was in peace knowing that I would never see you again and that we would never be together. Besides, I thought my feelings were one-sided, that gave me a reason to move on, but I could never forget you. You were always in my mind, even when I was dating other people. I never loved them the way I love you.".
Alison has now tears on her face, she feels completely guilty "Em...You don't even know how sorry I am for what I did to you...".
Emily removes Alison's tears with her thumb. She puts her hands on Alison's cheeks "It's okay, Ali. Don't cry. You know I forgave you. Please, let's forget the past. We have a second chance. We are not gonna screw up this time." and she gives Alison a passionate kiss.
Alison smiles into the kiss "Thanks, for letting me a second chance. I'm not sure I deserve all of that. I probably don't deserve you...".
Emily interrupts her with a kiss "Stop saying that. I love you, no one else. Nothing will tear us apart again.".
Alison smiles "You were right. It's weird for me too. We need to get used to it. It's not so easy to become a couple when you were best friends. I really hope it will work, because I definitely can't lose you.".
Emily looks Alison straight in the eyes "Of course it will work. We waited that for so long. We need to try. Now I know my feelings aren't one-sided, we can't just be friends.".
Alison gives Emily a quick peek "You are totally right. And I need your kisses. I would miss them too much.".
Emily teases Alison, trying to be serious "I would not miss your kisses. Did someone already told you that you are a terrible kisser?".
Alison pretends to be hurt "Wow...That's hurt, Emily. Just for you to know, you are a bad kisser too!".
Emily smiles "It's because we didn't have enought practice." as she crashes her lips on Alison's lips. Alison smirks against Emily's lips before kissing her back. After a hot make out session of several minutes, they break the kiss, in need of oxygen.
Alison speaks first "Am I still a bad kisser?".
Emily laughs "I was joking...you are perfect." as she gives her girlfriend a quick peek on the lips. Alison grins at Emily.
Emily remembers she wanted to ask Alison something "Ali, I wanted to ask you something...Who was that Cape May guy?".
Alison feels bad "A terrible mistake...It's not important, Em. Trust me, it's really no big deal.".
Emily wants a name "Please, Ali. We tried to find out who it was during a long time...".
Alison doesn't lie to Emily "Fine...It was Wilden. But I did it only because -A, at that time, were already scaring me. I tried to get informations like that. Believe me, I really regret it. I am so ashamed of what I have done...".
Emily pulls Alison into a tight hug, seeing she isn't at ease anymore "I'm sorry. I didn't want to make you uncomfortable.".
Alison smirks "It's fine. You deserved to know the truth. I don't want to lie to you anymore.". Alison adds "But trust me. I was already in love with you at that time. You were and you are still always in my mind. I know I screwed up. I should have told you how I felt about you a long time ago, but I was afraid of what -A could do to you. You need to understand that I did that to protect you.".
Emily says sarcastically "-A understood how we felt about each other. I was always the weakest link. -A threatenned me the most.".
Alison feels guilty "I know...That's why I followed you. To protect you. I couldn't lose you...".
Emily kisses Alison and says "I'm here, you didn't lose me. But there is something I still don't understand. At this time, -A was Mona. How could she know that?".
Alison tries to find an explanation "She was everywhere. She probably saw us kissing in the library. It's the only time we kissed before I disappeared. I don't see another explanation.".
Emily nods "Yeah, it must be that.".
Alison looks at the time on her phone and says "We really need to sleep...".
Emily approves "Yes, I'm exhausted...".
Alison cuddles next to Emily, pulling herself into Emily's safe arms "Goodnight Em.".
Emily smiles "Goodnight. Love you.".
Alison answers sleepily "Love you too." as they both fall asleep happy a moment later in each other's arms.
