hey guys.. this could be really bad news for some of you.. but im ending the story. the last chapter will be either chapter 35 or 36..i havent decided. the reason i'm ending it is because i'm more focused on my Wattpad stories.

chapter 34: Bigger than us

ELLA'S POV

It's been almost six months since Cupa and Soro's suicide. We've built our house from the ground up, helping lost travelers to their destinations and feeding them. The house has gradually upgraded to quartz and the farm had become bigger and bigger every week.

right now, Shayde and I are in the garden. I'm dressed in a silver crop top and high waisted black jeans. We sit on the wooden bench near a little stream we have going in the garden. The moonlight shines down on his face, and Shayde's purple eyes bore into mine. His face is filled with lust and its gorgeous. He just looks so.. vulnerable right now, but still so strong.

Shayde: Ella?

Ella: Yeah, Shayde?

Shayde: I have to ask you something.. it's kinda important..

Ella: What is it?

Shayde: uhm..

it was there. right there. right there that Shayde got on one knee and looked me in the eyes.

Shayde: Ella Sophia Smith.. will you marry me?

My eyes started watering with joy. I nodded my head furiously. I'm going to get married!

Ella: Yes.. yes! A thousand times yes!

He gets up from the ground and slides the diamond ring on my ring finger. It has six little gorgeous diamond in it and one large diamond in between. I stare at it with eyes wide.

And then all of the sudden, a bat came flying out of the tree. then another.. then a bunch more!

Shayde: Ella, get down!

I get down on the ground while bats are attacking my face. They peck the tips of my nose, my lips, and my eye lids.

Ella: Shayde, get down here!

Skull: Ella? Shayde?

I see Skull running out of the house -well really, now mansion- with bow and arrows in hand.

Ella: Skull! Shoot them!

She nods her head and starts aiming at the bats, hitting some of them but not others. All of the sudden it starts raining, pouring really, and Shayde shoves his jacket on me.

Shayde: Lets get inside..

We all hurry inside, and right when we reach the door it slams shut. I slam my fists against the door and its hinges.

Ella: Andr, let us in!

No answer.

...: We have her..

I whip around.

Ella: Who?

I yell into the mysterious void of night, not knowing what direction to yell to.

...: the blind one

Ella: Mia?

Mia: Ella.. help. me.

Ella: Mia, where are you?..

Mia: Uhm.. its kinda slimy.

Slimy.. slime..

Ella: Mia, stay right there!

I look to the depressed Shayde and strong Skull.

Ella: She's with a slime.. skull, can you go to the nearest cave? Find some slimes to talk to?

She nodded her head and ran off to the nearest cave.

Shayde: we need to find what this is..

Ella: it's something bigger than us, Shayde.. Did you hear it?

Shayde: I don't care. Ella we need to kill it. And if it kills us, good! We can be together.

A tear streams down my face and I nod, regretting my choice.

Ella: I FRICKIN just said yes to be married

Shayde: I'm sorry, baby

Ella: I know... F*** you author!

Author: love you too, Ella!
