Chapter 35: Don't Leave Me...
Sometimes, I often wonder: Why me? Why me, out of all people, have to be sucked into Minecraft. Sure, I found the love of my life and was the leader of my own little "clan", but I just wish I was back. I had to risk my life—and other people's lives—to survive; I want to save people...not make them commit suicide.
Ella: Can anyone help us find the nearest cave?
We finally have access to the house, where no one knew what was happening, and I wanted to keep it that way.
Danny, being the bat prince, spoke up.
Danny: I can! I-Is something wrong?
Ella: N-No...we just need some more diamonds!
I don't like to lie to my friends, but it's really necessary. If they found out, everyone would be freaked out and run around frantically. I didn't want that to happen. Not on my watch...
Danny: C'mon.
Danny and I walk outside, and I shut the door furiously.
Ella: Can you sense a slime?
Danny: Well of course. If it's in a cave, and I'm the prince of bats, im technically the prince of caves...technically.
Ella: Yeah, yeah. Come on...
Shayde: You got him?
Shayde pulls me to the side just as Danny and I start walking.
Ella: Yeah, can you explain to him what happened?
Shayde: Of course babe.
My heart flutters when he calls me babe.
Ella: Thanks.
I smile to him, letting him pass by and walk with Danny, informing on what happened.
When we get to the cave that Danny sensed had a large slime presence, I lit a torch and handed it to Danny to lead the way.
Danny: This way—
Danny leads us to the right, the left, a forward a bit, the right again and there we found it: a hole. But it wasn't like any other hole. It was a hole; but it was ringing with satanic rituals.
...: Cum laetus ego bibit vinum et sylveon (A/N: I know, i know. It means "With happiness I drink wine and ribbons"...yeah, I speak Latin.)
I whisper to Danny
Ella: What are they saying?
Danny: Some ancient latin hymn...its means their going to do something very bad. They're going to—
Just as Danny was going to tell me what they do, he let out a staggered breath and dissapeared.
Ella: Danny?
I looked to Shayde.
Ella: Shayde, where is Danny?
Shayde: I-I don't know...
Ella: Well we have to freaking find him!
Shayde: I know, I know
I frantically move my head in all directions to try and find Danny, but I see something on the ground.
Ella: Look
I point to object on the ground, and pick it up.
Shayde: I think it's a...spawn egg
Ella: No shit, sherlock
I smile to my boyfriend—or fiancée if we survive this—and smack the egg to the ground.
Slime: Hi, I'm Gelly!
Ella: Uhm...hello Gelly?
Gelly: Hi!
Shayde: Can you help us?
Gelly: Well sure, strangers!
All three of us look to the strange event going down. I move closer to Shayde and whisper to him.
Ella: She's awfully nice...
Shayde: Maybe she's a...baby?...and doesn't know whats going on?
Ella: Maybe...
Gelly: Nope! I'm the slime princess. I just haven't been released from my eggs in centuries.
Ella: Why?
Gelly: I don't know. I heard something, before I was banished to the egg, about a war?
Ella: Do you know between who?
Gelly: Something about some place called the Nether and the overworld...but they're just starting with caves.
...: Found our child, did you?
Ella: Who are you?
I shout, absolutely furious.
...: I'm suprised someone as smart as you hasen't figured it out, Ella.
Ella: You should take a look at my grades before you think I'm smart...who are you and how do you know my name?
...: I know everyone's name, Ella.
Ella: you're not...?
...: Oh but I am.
Ella: Notch?!
I scream, my voice cracking
Notch: Yes, Ella. And you are in grave danger.
Ella: What kind of danger?
Notch: Danger that will make you suffer. One by one your friends will be eliminated...then you. A slow, and painful death.
Ella: Why are you telling me this?
Notch: Because I believe in you. I'm on team Ella.
Ella: Okay, great. Thanks. But why do you have Mia?
Notch: We just replicated her voice and thoughts, we don't really have her. We needed to get you here.
Ella: Whats going on down there?
Silence.
Ella: Notch?
Even more silence.
Ella: Notch don't you dare fucking leave me! You son of a bitch!
Shayde: Ella, calm down. H-He's leaving for a reason. He does everything for a reason.
Shayde hugs me as I pound the ground with my balled up fists.
Ella: No! He has to come back...
A tear streams down my face.
Ella: Don't leave me...
