I'm back bitches ! Didja miss me~!? I know I did! The Festival was long. I don't know how I did yet, I should find out soon. *Crosses fingers*

I thought I'd update this first.

I do not own Ao No/ Blue Exorcist. Only own OCs.

I realized I spelled Okumura as Okumera in the past chapter. I'll see if I can fix it but if it doesn't happen, oh well. I'm admitting my mistake.

Chapter 7: Territory

Wide eyes stared at the two new transfer students. It was odd for there to be two new students at one, and instantly everyone assumed they knew each other, and a few swore they were related. Though that thought was soon proved wrong.

One was a smiley happy girl, who was very eager to meet everybody, become their friends. The other had piercing blue eyes that anyone could see held malice. Although the girls swooned at the sight of him, not one noticed the uncomfortable shifting of those who saw it.

Then the boy with hip length hair gave a sweet, innocent smile, his eyes shifting to calm embers.

That caused just about every girl in the room to have a nose bleed.

"I'm Rin Okumura, pleased to meet you all. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all, personally." His teeth were white. Perfect.

"And I'm Misao Urahaki. Please, I want to be your friends to!" She said happily, her body trembling with excitement. Her large breast trembled as well and just about every boy in the classroom joined the girls with noses bursting red.

"We are not related, but we know each other." Misao said happily.

"Misao is an old friend of mine, and is like a sister to me." Rin concluded, innocent smile in place.

They had arranged it to be like that, so they would not get in each other's way.

Everyone seemed excited about the new transfer students, except a girl way in the back.

She had dark brown hair, cold ruby eyes and a hateful frown.

She sat with her arms crossed, along with her legs.

Misao's smile faulted slight when she saw her, and felt a bead of sweat form on her brow.

She gave Rin a sideways glance. He could sense it to.

Quite obviously, that girl was a demon. She could see what the others could not. The ears, the pointed teeth, the fangs, and she didn't appear very happy to see them.

Rin POV

I gave the demon a friendly wave, and a closed eye smile. I figured I might have some fun here, and more than I had planned on before. I could tell this girl was about a mid-level demon, about on the same level as Misao.

I was way above the both of them, of course. They didn't need to know that. Not yet anyway. Most demons like this one claimed territory, and we had obviously strayed onto it.

Misao gave me another nervous glance that seemed to shout, 'What are you doing?'

I shrugged.

The teacher, a tall blonde lady, looked up at us happily then turned to the class who were very unaware of the demonic tension in this room.

"Does anyone have a question for Rin or Misao?" She said, raising a hand to gesture to us.

The demon raised her hand.

"What the hell are you doing here?" She asked voice vivid and angry.

"Miss Brenna! How rude!" The teacher immediately snapped, standing.

She turned to Me. "I'm real sorry, I don't-"

I held up a hand, silencing her. My blue eyes focused on the girl, a blaze seeming to be alight in them. "We are here, because we are going to school." I said calmly holding up a hand. "Simple as that."

The girl gritted her teeth, fangs showing.

She's a vampire. That's why she's so threatened. She can tell Misao needs the same thing as her, and is protecting her territory. Too bad she doesn't know about who she is insulting.

She stood up, desk being shoved forward. She trumped forward toward me, and pushed me up against the board, arm under my chin.

I don't see why she came after me, when Misao was the Vampire. She should be showing her dominance to the vampire. Not that I was complaining. I was glad she came after me. That way I get to have fun. Though, I now realize why. I appeared only a low level demon, having the ability to hide away some of my demonic power. It helps me keep the flames in check. The fact she came after me proves this demon was a coward, though she seemed pretty brave to come up here and pin me to the wall. It was damn confusing.

The teacher and class seemed frozen, not quite registering what was happening.

I chuckled.

"What's. So. Funny?" She said, boiling anger evident in her clipped words.

"Oh, nothing. Personal joke."

The girl, Brenna, at least I think that's what the teacher called her scoffed.

"I'm not a fan of jokes."

"Good thing it was personal."

She was not amused.

By now, Misao had started shaking. She wasn't one for confrontations or fighting. She was actually quite weak, for a mid-level demon.

Brenna ignored my last comment, and got up close to me ear. "I could tear your throat out right now." She hissed. I'd like to see you try.

"Right here? You'd lose all your prey. Your cover. Please, I know you won't." My smile was cocky.

The teacher finally came to her senses. "Brenna, let go of him, and I'll write you a pass for Detention the rest of the day."

Brenna didn't move.

"Brenna!"

The vampire looked over at the teacher, eyes glowing an inhuman red.

The teacher didn't see, couldn't see.

Slowly, the vampire let me go, but not before telling me she'd get me after school for not just leaving her territory on first demand. I had told her I was looking forward to it. She growled low at Misao.

"You should control your damn servant; he just signed your death warrant."

Anger boiled in me, and it took a hellofa lot of control to keep my flames from bursting free and my power to shoot up. How dare she think me a servant?

Low level, I could take. I made it like that to keep up my camouflage in the school, but servant? No. She had no idea as she walked out of the classroom, fists white that ~she had signed her own death warrant. I wondered then what the heat of a vampires' soul tasted like.

"I'm so very sorry about that you two… she has never acted like that before!" The teacher said sitting down. "Why don't you take a seat?"

"But of course." I said with a flourish, sitting in an empty seat by a pretty blonde, who practically swooned at the sight of me.

Anger aside, this was going to be fun.

The class went by at a normal rate, and I didn't pay attention at all.

I spent the majority of my time writing notes to the pretty blonde next to me. I could tell her chest was about to explode. Absolutely priceless.

The humans can't see my demonic features of course; to them I was the handsome boy with hip length glossy hair and perfectly sculpted body.

I was never this much of a chic magnet when human or even half demon! God, I loved my new life!

An image flashed into my brain. Me, Yukio and the old man at the beach when we were around 8 years of age.

Yukio had accidentally cut his hand on a seashell, and was crying like a baby.

Sighing, I had slowly led him to Fujimito.

Father.

He had wrapped Yukio's hand in a bandage a smiled at us both, telling us to both be more careful.

Brother.

I felt a tear slide down my cheek at the flash.

I got these sometimes. Flashes from my past life, from when I was not a king. Not a demon.

I don't understand how I could get caught up into these human emotions like that, but it just happens, and I loathe the feeling.

I call these moments' pangs.

I wiped away the tear, shoving away the emotion the pang had washed up from some old part of my brain. Now was not the time to be weak, and never again would it be.

The paper I was passing with the blonde had returned to me, and I smiled at it.

She told me what her name was, I couldn't care less.

I needed to plan, choose my prey carefully, and then build them up.

Make their will stronger, make them trust.

I had done it once before, and the result was absolutely delectable.

This blonde seemed like a good start, but there was an entire school laid out in front of me, a freaking menu!

I could have pretty much anyone I wanted. And as many - after devouring their will, I can just command them to simply go on living, though they would be an empty shell. Not much emotion there. I guess after a while we will have to move on, someone might notice how empty the people I fed from are. Though, I don't want to think about it that much at this point.

The bell rang, and everyone exited the room in haste, except a few who came to talk with the king of Assiah. That's be me, thank you.

They were around me in a semi-circle, asking frivolous questions I answered with lies, and a bit of truth.

"Your favorite color is blue right!?"

"What is your favorite food?!"

"What city did you come from!?"

"How did you get your hair that color!?"

"Can I have your number!?"

It was fun being in the girls' attention, like a harem manga.

Our little gathering was broken up by Misao backing up from the window in a rush and falling over a chair with a squeal.

I raised an eyebrow from inside my circle of ladies. Pushing by two of them I stood over Misao, holding out my hand to help her up.

She took it, and stood up.

"I...I need to get out of here..." She whispered quiet enough for only me to hear.

"What's wrong?" I asked in a low growl, moving over to the window.

Everything seemed normal, nothing that I thought could get Misao spooked like that.

She came over, pulling my arm.

By now, most of the other girls had left to give us space. They called their good byes and rushed off, startled by a force of demonic power they couldn't comprehend, or even feel past a chill down their spine I'd imagine.

Misao was emitting it in waves, and I stayed were I was despite her attempts to pull me away.

"C'mon, it was nothing... I just need to go to the bathroom! That's it! Please, can we go?"

I ignored her, my eyes skimming the grounds laid out under me, looking for something.

Misao was always spooked about something, and always didn't want me to know. I was getting sick of it.

Then I saw it.

It was the rot breath man from a few days ago - who I was ready to slice into two for breathing on my face and showing major disrespect.

What is he doing here? I thought, eyes narrowing suspiciously.

My blue orbs flicked back to Misao. What's the connection? Does she know this guy?

Her one visible eye was frantic. "Please... It's nothing..." She was contradicting herself greatly.

I sighed, pushing it to the back of my mind. I would find out what he deal was, but now was not the time. We had a territory to steal.

"Fine. You go find Yin and Yang, I'll deal with that Brenna girl."

Misao was shocked. "R-really? C-can you... She seemed scary..."

I wasn't that amused. "Trust me, I can handle her. She thinks I'm your damn servant."

She nodded, though still seemed a bit unsure of it all.

She walked out of the room. My eyes flicked back to the window. The demon was gone.

I will get you, and I will pay you back for stinking up my cool.

Third POV

Rin walked casually down the empty halls, posture lax, but alert.

The school was practically empty already, everyone rushing home or in the back of classrooms studying.

It was absolutely perfect.

Brenna Savnor stood in a shadowed doorway, ready to pounce on the low level servant scum of that other demon who dared to invade her territory.

She had been in these hunting grounds, this school, for three months now. She was not giving them up now.

She was ready.

Rin wasn't surprised when a hand grabbed his form and roughly pulled him into a room, a hand over his mouth.

He had been waiting for this, for her to come out and pounce. Rin knew she was in that doorway the entire time.

'Let her think she's got the upper hand, then we'll see how she bows before her king.' Rin thought harshly as he was pushed up against the wall, head hitting the white board with a sick thump.

His smile didn't falter.

"Now you listen here, scum. I told you to get out, but your still here. You and your master." Her voice was cold and twisted, hurtful.

Rin's eyes narrowed. She was so dead.

"Now I'm gonna kill you. It's what you deserve for not knowing your place!" She hissed.

Their eyes connected.

She saw it then, a burning fire. A blue fire.

His hand reached up and grabbed her wrist, peeling it away from his face with ease.

Her face was horror stricken.

"You... Who are you...?" She said, voice shaky.

Rin snickered, letting his power slide up to that of a high level demon. Not at all actually his real power, but a small fraction of it.

Blue flames erupted all around them.

"You're... The son of Satan!" She cried out breathless.

Rin put a finger to her lips.

"Yeah, but you know what else I am?" He said getting closer to her ear.

She was shaking, her body unable to withstand the sheer magnitude of what was happening.

"W- wa.." She couldn't form words.

"The fucking king of Assiah."

She screamed.

OP Rin be OP. Don't go hating. He just did it.

/runs away/

Woot! This only took forever to write! *sigh* I wish I could write faster and had more time to do so, I'm just so busy all the time. I is will try harder. /cries/

I'm also sorry for the depressing month hiatus. And the depressing note I had to start it. I get these weird moods.

One of these days I'll be normal.

Jk! Normality kills! Please Review, and not flame. 'Cause the king of Assiah is on my side. :3
