"I'm still in awe at everything that happened tonight," Dawn giggled.
May nodded in understanding, "Trust me I know the feeling."
Ashley and Misty raised their eyebrows in question, "Does it have anything to do with why Drew and you were late tonight?" Esme prodded.
Dawn poked the brunet playfully on her side, "You know I've noticed you two seem allot closer than before."
May blushed before shrugging, "We both confessed our feelings," she raised her hands stopping her friends from bombarding her with questions, "I told him I needed sometime before jumping into another relationship."
"That's actually very smart of you. Too many complications arise when you just jump into something fully unprepared," Dawn agreed as she pulled out her lipstick from her purse.
Misty scoffed, "Dawn you are the least qualified to talk no offense."
"None taken Mist now come here so I can do your makeup."
May and Ashley quickly brushed the tangles out of their hair, before strapping on their red high heels. Dawn nodded in approval taking in their outfits fully. For the night's performance they had decided to wear red high heels, black skinny jeans, and black floral form fitting tops. Their hair was straight their bangs were styled to the side, and their makeup was minimal expect for bold red lips.
"Girls are you ready?" James asked as he grabbed a CD from Ashley.
"Your joking right we were born ready," Dawn giggled getting up and walking towards the stage to take her place.
Gary
Gary drummed his fingers on the table nervously. He glanced at his watch for the twelfth time that night, and discreetly patted his pants pocket. When he felt the small square bulge he sighed nervously.
"Earth to Gary what's got you all shaken up?" Ash asked placing his smoothie in front of him, before taking his seat beside Paul.
Gary shrugged, "Just have allot on my mind."
"Umhm nice try Gary now tell us what's really going on," Alexis demanded poking him on the chest.
Gary ran his hand through his hair sheepishly, "I'm planning on proposing tonight."
Brenden clapped him on the back, "About time man only took you four years," He chuckled.
Alexis gushed in excitement, "She's going to faint from happiness!"
"The girls are about to perform," Paul stated turning his attention to the stage, "Oh and congrats Gary," he stated his eyes still focused on the stage.
Gary smiled widely as he saw the girl's outlines take position on the stage. He narrowed his brow in confusion as he noticed none of them carried their instrument. "Does anyone know why they're not going to play their instruments?"
"They wanted to do something different for tonight," a soft voice replied cheerfully behind him.
Briana smiled as she sat next to Alexis while James took the vacant spot beside his girlfriend, "The rest of the girls went home already," she informed Alexis before turning towards the stage as well.
The key of a piano began to play steadily until it crescendo accompanied by the percussion, and the girls who snapped to the beat. The spotlight suddenly flashed and cast Ashley in its golden halo. Gary's breath hitched in his throat as he saw her lovely face break into a smile.

Her soft angelic voice soothed his previous nerves and he couldn't help but chuckle as she shot him a wink as she sung her final two versus, before the light suddenly blanked on her and bathed May in the spotlight.

Gary chuckled at Drew's dazed expression as he saw May. The poor guy almost had a heart attack as she pointed straight at him and sang her final two versus. He bumped Drew gently with his elbow to get his attention.
"Might want to close that mouth of yours you might swallow a fly," he teased.
Drew scoffed as he flipped his hair out of his eyes, "Perhaps you should follow your own advice Oak," he joked back before grabbing his smoothie and taking a large sip.
Gary laughed bashfully, "Touché Hayden," he stated leaning his arms on the table his eyes still focused on the stage.
(Misty)

Briana whistled in admiration, "I think this is the first time I've seen Misty so feminine and wow her voice is beautiful."
"She's beyond beautiful," Ash stated standing from the table, "She's perfect," he whispered before striding closer to the stage.
Suddenly five spotlights eliminated the stage as the girl's strode to the front of the stage. They swayed their hips to the beat of the music, continuing their snaps in unison. Behind them another slideshow began to play. Images from their current summer flashed behind them, and as he continued to watch he realized that all the girls had stitched together the pictures in a form to tell their story with each boy they held significant.

The lights blacked out leaving the spotlight only for Dawn. The slideshow continued to play in the background casting a slight glare. Paul kept his face stoic but Gary knew he was in awe of Dawn by the way his lips curved up into a slight smile.

As the light bathed Esme Gary felt his breath catch in his throat once more. His sister was the ideal of angelic. Even when she wore those form fitting clothes her aura radiated nothing but innocence, and when she opened her mouth to sing her ethereal voice touched his heart and made him smile.
"From Sky's expression I'd say he's very hooked on Esme," Briana giggled,
Gary laughed, "Can't say I blame him. Esme is like a tornado her energy just sucks you in, and it's impossible to get away."

The stage lights illuminated the girls again as they danced their way down the stage. Esme quickly located Sky at the smoothie bar and dragged him along with Charlotte onto the dance floor still singing and dancing.
"While the girls get you guys I'm going to take my lovely wife out to dance," Brenden stated escorting blushing Alexis away.
"We'll see you guys later," Briana giggled getting up and leading James onto the dance floor.

Ashley was the first to reach their table she winked playfully as she grabbed his hand and shimmied her way onto the dance floor. Gary laughed as he saw Paul dancing beside him with Dawn. Tonight was truly a night of miracles.
Gary pulled Ashley closer to him and kissed her tenderly on the forehead. He could feel her slowly melt into his touch. He reached into his pants pocket and gripped the small velvet box in his hand.
He reached up and cradled her cheek tenderly, "Ashley you know that I love you more than I ever thought possible," he stated lovingly.
Ashley nodded her eyebrow rose in question, "Of course I know Gary." He looked into her sapphire eyes and made his resolve.
He slowly lowered himself on one knee making her gasp in surprise. The DJ quickly turned off the music and the couple became encased in a wall of spectators who watched his declaration.
"Ashley Smith from the moment I met you I knew you would be the only girl I'd ever want. You were there for me through all the rough patches I hit, and helped shape me into the man I am today. I want to be the man you can always lean on, depend on. Ashley will you do me the honor of being my wife?" He opened the box and chuckled at her dazed expression.
"Gary Oak get off that knee and kiss me already," Ashley laughed pulling him up and planting a kiss on his lips. His arms wrapped tightly around her and faintly he thought he heard cheering, but in that instant it was only the two of them. He smiled into the kiss and pulled away slightly.
"That was a yes right?" He teased brushing a stray lock of hair out of her face.
Ashley laughed and kissed him again, "Of course it was."
Gary chuckled before taking her left hand tenderly and slid the ring onto her finger. Ashley blushed as he kissed her hand chastely, "We better get going love I promised your mother and my grandfather I'd get you home after the proposal."
"No way grandpa Oak is here," Esme yelled excitedly running up to them Sky and Charlotte in tow behind her.
"Of course I had to get the ring from Grandpa after all it's a family heirloom. Esme go ahead and round up our friends tell them to meet us at Ashley's home for a celebratory dinner," he stated happily.
"My mom knew about this? You have to be kidding she's terrible keeping secrets!" Ashley giggled as she grabbed her car keys out of her pants pocket.
Gary laughed, "Obviously she's not too terrible since you had no idea," he teased poking her on the side and taking the car keys form her hand. "I'll drive now come on they must be anxious waiting on us."
Ashley giggled, "Alright but not until I get another kiss."
Gary wrapped his arms around her waist, "As you wish," he whispered before placing a tender kiss on her forehead.
