"Roxanne? Is that really you," asked Horatio in total shock. "Yes. It's really me. How do I look," asked Roxanne nervously. "You look wonderful! I - I can't believe you're walking. When did this happen," asked Horatio. Everyone else wanted to know too. "I went away to have a procedure done. Sammie, Mallory and Melinda knew what I was doing. I told them not to say anything to you. I wanted to tell you myself. I'm sorry if I worried you while I was gone," said Roxanne. "We were all worried about you. We're just glad you're okay," said Eric. "The opportunity came and I couldn't pass it up. I had to take a chance. I researched it before I made a final decision. It was a lot of work afterwards, but it was worth it," said Roxanne with a smile on her face. "Well, if it makes you happy then I'm happy for you. You do look stunning in that dress. Let's get a table so we can chat more comfortably," suggested Horatio as he took Roxanne by the hand.
The next few hours went by with a breeze. Everyone was enjoying themselves. "I have something to tell you, Horatio. I talked to a friend a few days ago, and he told me that Sanchez was killed in prison about four days ago. He can't hurt me or anyone else anymore," said Roxanne. "That's great news. I know you're happy about that." "Yes. I'm very happy about that. I can relax knowing he can't hurt me anymore. For awhile I was worried he would somehow get out and come after me. I didn't ask how he died. I don't care. He's gone. That's all I care about," said Roxanne. "I know. Would you care to dance," asked Horatio as he stood up from the table. "I would love to dance."
"It's great seeing Roxanne again. I can't believe what she did though," said Calliegh. "I asked her if she really wanted to go through with it. She said yes. She told me she researched beforehand so she would know what she was getting herself into. Mallory and I stayed by her side the whole time," said Sammie. "That's good. I'm glad she had the two of you to help her," said Eric. "Yeah. I wasn't about to let her go through something like that alone. She's like a sister to me. I wanted to help her out anyway I could," said Sammie as he and the others watched Horatio and Roxanne dance.
"I'm sorry i worried you. I didn't mean to. I just felt like this was something I had to do," said Roxanne as she and Horatio continued to dance. "It's okay sweetheart. I'm just glad everything turned out alright. You're home right where you belong," said Horatio. "It's good to be home. I've missed you and the others so much. I'm never leaving again. I promise," said Roxanne with a smile on her face. "I won't let you leave again. I want you to stay by my side forever," said Horatio. "If I didn't know any better I would think you're trying to propose to me," said Roxanne with a small laugh. "That's what I was trying to do. I'm not doing a very good job of it," said Horatio as he reached into his pocket. "I think you're doing a good job so far. I know you're going to ask, but you don't have to. My answer is yes. I will marry you," said Roxanne as she took the box from Horatio and opened it to reveal an engagement ring.
