Hello people! I really don't mean to be ungrateful but I was really hoping to get a few more reviews than just one :( oh well. Thank you anyway for reading! This chapter is pretty short so if I can get at least two reviews, I'll update IMMEDIATELY! I promise! Hope you all enjoy this chapter and I'll see you guys at the bottom of the chapter!

It had been at least a few more quiet days before a knock was at the door yet again. She was relieved to see that it was just Alissa and even happier when she saw that the maid had a letter with her.
"Addressed to you from a Mr. James Paul Moody." Alissa said to her, smiling slightly before passing the letter to Elizabeth, who politely and gratefully let the maid leave the room.
Elizabeth almost ripped the yellow envelope open and took a deep breath before reading the letter.
Dearest Elizabeth,
I've missed you so badly. I've been lonely without you, longing to have you in my arms again. I hope this letter finds you in good circumstance. I've recently told my parents about you and they say they'd love to meet you one day, so does my little sister Josephine.
The letter was fairly long but ended looking something like this.
…I love you to the ends of the Earth.
Yours lovingly,
Jim
Elizabeth smiled, knowing that he still thought of her. She went right away to write a return letter, but leaving the part on her arranged marriage out. She didn't know why she did so, but she probably just wanted to have a normal conversation with him after this big news. 'I'll tell him next time.' She told herself.

Jim was at his home, helping his mother out with the chores when Josephine and Catherine entered the house. "Jamie! There's mail for you!" He heard Josephine's sweet voice call out.
He ran out to get the letter and leaned down to kiss his little sister on the cheek before running up the stairs to his room, like a little boy.
He wasted no time in opening the letter, which read :
Beloved Jim,
It was wonderful to hear from you! …
…
…
I miss you dearly and wish for nothing more than to have you here with me. I love you.
Always Faithful,
Elizabeth Andrews
Jim smiled and put the letter away, rushing back down the stairs when he heard his mother call out for him to finish his household chores.
The pair communicated like this for almost a month. In this period of time, Jasper stopped by almost every other day to visit Elizabeth, trying in vain to get her to fall in love with him and Catherine constantly flirted with Jim.

"Josie?" Jim called for his sister. "What do you want, Jamie?" She asked as she went to his room where he was. "Come over and sit with me. I wanted to talk about this…wedding."
"Oh isn't it wonderful?" Josephine beamed at the mention of her big day. "Sure. I just want to make sure that my little sister will be happy. Tell me about Max." Jim said, wrapping an arm around her.
"Okay, well, he's nice." She shrugged. Jim raised a brow at her. "Well, he had been courting me for half a year and we've been seeing each other for half a year as well, before we decided to tie the knot."
"And why didn't I hear about this in my letters while I was at sea?" Jim asked. "Because I knew you would get overprotective. Trust me, papa was enough." Josephine giggled.
"Well now that I'm back, you have no choice but to let me brood over you." Jim smirked, playfully poking his sister on the tip of her nose.
One day, Alissa received a letter, addressed to Elizabeth from Jim, as usual every week. She was on her way up the stairs, looking down at the floor when a figure stood in front of her, blocking her way. "L…lady Diana!" Alissa said, startled.
"Yes. What is that letter you have there?" The older lady asked, peered directly at the pale yellow envelope in the maid's left hand. "N-nothing!" Alissa silently cursed herself. She was too flustered and she knew that her employer sensed her nervousness.
"Hand it over." Diana put a hand out. Alissa didn't move. Diana moved forward and pried the envelope from her hands. She swiftly opened the envelope with her long nails and quickly scanned through the letter. If she was shocked, she did a good job of hiding it.
"Who is this…James Moody?" Diana asked her sternly. Alissa shook her head, attempting to say that she didn't know anything but Diana immediately saw through her act and slapped her across the face, the sound echoing eerily through the halls.
"I know you know, Alissa. Tell me now. Or else." Diana glared down at the maid. Alissa knew she couldn't afford to offend Diana. If she did, losing her job was going to be the least of her worries, after knowing what this cold woman was capable of.
"It-He's the officer that…Miss Elizabeth fell for on the Titanic, Lady Diana." Alissa bowed her head, trying to hide her shame. Diana tore the thin paper up and threw it to Alissa's feet, as if it poisoned her and told the maid to look up at her. "I forbid you to speak to Elizabeth ever again. You dare disobey and…you know what comes next."
With that, the austere woman left the maid sobbing quietly on the stairs.
About that sequel I mentioned. This story is 3/4 through but NOT AT THE CLIMAX YET! WE'RE GETTING THERE! It's hard to limit the chapters or to give a definite amount of remaining chapters but I would probably finish this story by 10 April ( We all know what date that is! ), or at least I'm aiming to. When I do get around to writing the sequel, it will be a separate story. I hope I'm not branching out too much from 'Titanic'! But I am using the characters? Does that count?
Meanwhile, this story is about to get exciting! Diana now knows about the letters :O The next chapter's gonna have DRAMA! And lots of it, if I do say so myself ;)
