Hi everyone. The reason why I didn't update sooner was because 1. I didn't get any reviews for the last chapter :( 2. I'm currently having my examinations now. I'm on the brink of failing everything so I'm trying my best to cope with both studies and this story. I hope you guys are understanding ( which I know you all are! ) Hope you all enjoy this chapter and I'll see you guys at the bottom of the chapter!

- Elizabeth -

At nearly one in the morning, Elizabeth was ready to leave, with her bag packed, not forgetting the purse from the Titanic with all the precious pictures in it.

There was a knock at the door and she almost flipped, thinking it was Jasper but it turned out to only be Alissa. "Miss-Miss Elizabeth, come with me." She turned and motioned for Elizabeth to follow her, which she did after looking at the place one last time.

Alissa led her through the quiet hallways, with the most silent of steps and neither of them said a word. Elizabeth and Alissa stepped out of the backdoor and into a small and dark alley.

"This is as far as I need to take you, Miss Elizabeth. I am so sorry for everything I've done, and am grateful to have had the pleasure of knowing you." Alissa bowed deeply.

"It's all right Alissa. You've been so nice to me. I'm glad to have known you." She hugged her tightly and parted when a black car drove up to them.

Albert stepped out of the car and hugged Alissa before turning to Elizabeth. "Good to see you again princess. Get into the car and-oh bloody hell! Get into the car!" He suddenly whispered harshly.

The lights in the house were slowly flickering on one by one and there were sounds of men hollering from within the house. "You should get going!" Alissa hissed, helping Elizabeth into the car.

"What about you? Come along Ali!" Albert said with urgency. "I can't… I…I'll distract them while you two leave. That way they won't be able to follow you."

Alissa and Albert looked into each other's eyes before he kissed her passionately, embracing her tightly. "I love you Alissa." He stroked her cheek before escaping into the car, and driving off into the night.

Alissa watched the car drive away and ran back into the house hurriedly.

Half an hour later, the two still continued to remain silent. "So, you and Alissa are an item?" Elizabeth asked. "Well…yes. I confessed my feelings to her a while back." Albert smiled a little at the memory.

"Oh. Where are we going? No one told me." Elizabeth changed the subject. "To your grandmother, Bonnie's house."

- Jim -

Jim had been resting the whole afternoon in Bonnie's house, along with Clara and all the other officers. The ageing lady was kind enough to house all of them in her big house for the time being.

"Can you two just pipe down?" Charles moaned from his place on the couch. Harry had been chasing Herbert around the house for some odd reason, something to do with someone stealing each other's alcohol.

"No! Lights, tell Bert to give me back my ale!" Harry yelled childishly. It amazed Charles that the two could heal so quickly from such a serious fight earlier.

"Stop!" Bonnie stopped them both. They immediately stopped at the sight of the firm lady. She grabbed the bottle and poured it into the sink, eliciting gasps and groans from the boys. "Could all of you just sit down quietly and patiently wait for Albert and Lizzy to return?"

As if on cue, the sound of a car pulled up on the driveway and Jim immediately bolted out, albeit painfully as he struggled not to fall with the injuries he had sustained.

Elizabeth rushed out of the car and ran into his arms. They stayed that way for about a second more before Elizabeth pulled away abruptly. "I…I'm sorry." Jim was confused. "Why? What for?"

"I…I cheated on you with Jasper." She bit her lower lip nervously. "I know that. But that was only because it was an arranged marriage, right?"

"Well…yeah but I just-I've let you down so bad and I don't deserve you. I wouldn't even be surprised if you didn't love me anymore." Elizabeth bit her lip as she stared down at her feet. She half-expected Jim to walk away but instead her gently pulled her into a soft embrace and placed his lips on her hair. "I would never stop loving you. If anything, I'm undeserving of a lovely girl such as yourself." He mumbled against her dark hair.

Upon hearing this, Elizabeth buried her face in Jim's broad chest and started to cry at his sweet words. In response, Jim tightened his arms around her.

Added some fluff at the end for you guys ;) Hopefully that's compensation enough xD I am trying my best to get this story out so please be patient with me! Also, how is the story going for you guys? Any feedback? Too fast too slow? Any character you particular love/hate/relate to? I'd love to hear from all of you :D
