Woah. So over the weekend, this story got 9,000 views! Thank you all for your support. Although, I'd like to get some reviews? I feel so thick-skinned but it really does brighten up my day. I have to admit that this chapter is a little of a filler but it's all coming down to the end. The next few chapters will have so much drama in it you won't even believe it. Hope you all enjoy this chapter and I'll see you guys at the bottom of the chapter!

- 1 week later -

Elizabeth and Jim went to the funeral about a week ago. Charles, Herbert and Joseph unfortunately had to go home during the weekend to see their respective families. All that was left was Jim, Elizabeth, Harry and Clara. The four had decided to go out to town for lunch that day.

"Are you sure you don't want to come along?" Elizabeth sat at the edge of Bonnie's bed. "It's all right Elizabeth. Go along. I'll be-" Bonnie coughed violently. "I'll be fine." Bonnie looked tired. Elizabeth bit her lip and hugged her grandmother tightly before leaving the room.

As Elizabeth was going down the stairs to meet up with the rest, she heard a loud coughing noise coming from one of the rooms, most probably Bonnie. She was about to go and ask if she was all right after all when Harry yelled "Liz! Hurry up you cabbage!"

"I'm coming! I'm coming!" Elizabeth almost ran down the stairs. The girls were dressed in plain dresses with their hair braided while the boys wore white shirts and dark trousers. They all decided to walk there.

"You look nice." Jim smiled at Elizabeth.

"You look nice." Harry mimicked him, talking to Clara.

Jim rolled his eyes and playfully shoved Harry. They started to shove each other and Jim ran, Harry chasing him. This caused the two girls to laugh.

"They're such boys!" Elizabeth exclaimed. "Obviously." Clara smiled. "How have you been Clara?" Elizabeth asked. They hadn't really been talking like they used to lately. "Great. Harry just…makes me so happy…" She said, dreamily staring at Harry.

"You're besotted!" Elizabeth rolled her eyes dramatically. "Like you aren't with Jim!" Clara giggled. "By the way, how's Harry in the bedroom?" Elizabeth wiggled her eyebrows suggestively, to which Clara blushed at. Although she'd grown during the past few months, Clara was still quite innocent.

"We…Nothing's happened yet…" Clara clasped her hands behind her back and walked forward as Elizabeth stopped in her tracks. "What! You mean he hasn't made you a-" Clara ran back and slapped a hand over Elizabeth's mouth, flustered

"Not so loud!" Clara hissed. "I'm just saying, it's about time something happened." Elizabeth suddenly looked at Clara seriously. "Does Harry have a problem?"

Clara giggled. "No! Now…come on! We're falling behind." Clara skipped forward to join the two men.

- A little later at a small restaurant -

The four of them had just decided to get a plate of pasta, each, but with different flavors. "I haven't had a run like that since the start of the year." Harry huffed, fanning himself with a menu.

"Yeah Harry, you're getting soft." Jim grinned cheekily. "Watch it, you." Harry kicked Jim under the table and the two started to kick each other. "Would you two stop being childish?" Clara chided lightly.

They gave each other one last kick before smiling and Clara angelically. "You know, I get the feeling that Clary will be a great mother." Elizabeth winked at Harry multiple times. Jim, from beside her, put a protective arm around her, furrowing his brows. "Hey. Stop it. I don't like that." He pouted.

Elizabeth kissed him lightly to turn his frown upside down before pulling away. That seemed to work for him as he lay back in his seat happily. "What about you two? Plan on getting a couple little ones?" Harry asked the pair.

"We wanted two girls." Elizabeth answered, causing Jim to smile even wider at the thought of two little girls to call his. "How nice." Clara smiled. No one really noticed Harry's discomfort as the waiter laid down the ceramic plates in front of them.

- After the meal -

Throughout the meal, the four kept stealing each other's pasta to try each flavor, with Jim's being the main target since the restaurant's cream carbonara was to die for.

"Blimey, it's raining!" Jim exclaimed. "No one has an umbrella, do they?" Clara frowned. "Well I don't think this place would lend us one." Elizabeth looked around at the shabby place.

"Nothing else we can do except walk through the rain." Harry sighed. "I'll go and get a cab for us at that stand." Harry pointed to one nearby. "It's all right Harry. Jim and I will walk back." Elizabeth smiled at Jim who grinned.

"But you two will get sick!" Clara worried. "Relax Clary, what's the point in life if there's no adventure?" Elizabeth laughed before she looped her arm around Jim's, leaving the two in the restaurant as they walked off cheerfully.

"What do you suggest? We could still go get that cab if you want." Harry looked down at Clara. "It's all right. We can try to borrow an umbrella from that post office."

Harry and Clara then started to cross the road, with his hat on her head.

- Elizabeth -

Elizabeth and Jim had been walking in the rain for about ten minutes. "All right. Big mistake. What made us think that we could walk all the way back?" Elizabeth sighed, drenched from head to toe. "At least we have each other." He pulled her closer to him by the waist.

Elizabeth giggled. She was about to reply when she slipped and fell. "Ah!"

"Honey!" He immediately bent down beside her. "Are you all right?" He asked, concern in his eyes, scanning her for any wounds. "I…I'm fine." Jim helped her up and dusted the leaves and twigs from her dress. As they were about to continue to walk, Elizabeth stumbled and almost fell again.

"My heels are broken." Elizabeth groaned, looking down at her shoes. The heels of the shoes had come off. At that moment, Jim bent down. "Get on."

"W-what?" She asked, shocked. "Get on my back. I'll carry you." Jim said again. "It's all right! I can walk…"

"I don't want you to injure your pretty little feet." He grinned at her. Elizabeth blushed a little before gingerly climbing onto his back. With a swift hoist, he looped his arms around her legs. "I must be so heavy."

"No, you're not. Just sit tight. It's going to be a long way." Elizabeth kissed his cheek softly before resting her head on his shoulders.

- Clara -

Clara stood outside the post office, waiting for Harry. He came out, frowning. "No luck?" She asked. He shook his head. Clara was about to say something when a car drove by, splashing them with dirty water from the road.

Clara instinctively jumped at Harry, causing him to hold her to him tightly. "Are you all right?" He asked her. Clara nodded, still in his warm embrace, which made her want to hold onto him forever.

Harry smiled at her, tucking her blonde hair behind her ears. She suddenly didn't care about the rain anymore. All she saw was Harry, looking at her. And he was so handsome. The way the water slid off his skin, his rosy cheeks from the cold. She couldn't help but smile back.

Harry looked down at her, still in his arms. He slowly bent down, just a little, and kissed her on the lips. Gently at first, until he kissed her more fervently, holding her closer, and more tightly. Clara placed her hands on his chest, hoping that the moment would never end.

- Elizabeth -

When she and Jim finally got back, she ran up to Bonnie's room. "Grandma! Are you feeling better?" She happily skipped to the bed. Elizabeth gently shook her shoulder. "Grandma?" She asked, now concerned and biting her lower lip. "Grandma! Bonnie! Wake up!" She started to shake her shoulders more vigorously.

"What's wrong honey?" Jim ran to the door, panting. "She's…she's not waking up!" Elizabeth started to have tears welling up in her eyes. Jim went over to take her pulse and do some checks to see if she was still breathing, things he learnt in nautical school in case of accidents at sea.

"H-Honey…I don't-"

"Is she…is she breathing?"

Jim shook his head.

Okay, it's not that I like people to die or anything, but...Oh god. Don't look at me Someone else was supposed to die in this story but I didn't want so many deaths so she'll have another outcome. See y'all in the next chapter!

To everyone , I hope you all are enjoying the story as well! Have a nice day and review if you liked the chapter! :D
