Vampires. Easily my closest rivals in speed, strength, ability and badassery. If I had the choice, they are not someone I'd want to mess with. I have fought and defeated both that had stood against me before: Inner Moka and, in a much closer fight, Damion. But now, another has emerged...
"You're telling me that first year student over there-?" Yukari started.
"She's Moka's little sister?" Kurumu asked in shock and disbelief.
"Doesn't bother me. You wanted to take me on. Let's do it." I said, drawing a line by dragging my foot in the dirt.
"Kokoa. What are you doing here?" Moka asked.
"Kokoa? Is that her name or something?" Tsukune asked, getting multiple reactions at the same time.
Damion: "No shit, Sherlock."
Sai: "You really are retarded, aren't you?!"
Lady: "Is he ALWAYS this stupid?"
Ayane: "If you're that clueless, just shut up."
"Thank you, Ayane." Damion said.
The new vampire interrupted the silence. "Finally! We're face-to-face! And guess what Moka?! I'm gonna wipe you off the face of the earth!" She said, jumping into the air, time freezing in a dramatic drawing of the scene.
"Not if I break you first!" I said, about to lunge after her, when suddenly, Moka grabbed my arm. "Moka, what the hell?!" I demanded, trying to yank away.
"No, Sai! Just get out of here! Everyone, hurry! Kokoa only came here for me." She told us.
"And back down from a fight. No chance! And it's a vampire, that will be a good challenge! I haven't gotten my blood pumping this good since that fight with Damion before the break." I said.
"Moka, watch out!" Tsukune said, tackling her out of the way just before Kokoa's flying kick could take her head off.
I deadpanned. "Really? You couldn't move out of the way of that? My god, some of these anime have unbelievable derp moments." I said, shaking my head, having simply leaned back a bit to dodge the attack.
The flying kick in question then knocked down multiple trees. "Wow, she's incredible!" Yukari said in shock.
"Not impressed! I can do that, too!" I snapped.
"With strength like that, there's no question! She's an S class monster! A vampire!" Kurumu said in fear.
"Always with the vampires! I don't get it! Okay, you want impressive?" I said, going Devil Trigger, easily outmatching the aura Kokoa was putting off, then I looked at the 4th wall. "By the way, my Devil Trigger state looks like Dante's Nevan Devil Trigger, but with the wings from Vergil's Beowulf Devil Trigger and I'm black, not red." I explained, my voice having a demonic echo. Then I reverted back, having gotten the look of shock I was expecting.
"You never fail to impress, Ms. Kokoa! You're powers electrifying, whee~!" Kou said, flying around her.
"What?!" I said, looking at the bat.
"That bat! All along I thought he was just the narrator for the show, but now-!" Kurumu said, shocked.
"He's been in cahoots with her this whole time?!" Yukari asked, equally shocked.
"Whatever, I'm still gonna kick her a- wait, is she carrying a tree one-handed?" I asked.
She was. Carrying a giant-ass fallen tree single-handedly, no doubt going to use it as a weapon. "What's wrong with you? Why won't you fight?" She asked, then grabbed the tree with both hands and got ready to start smashing with it. "Let's do it like we used to!" She said, about to strike with it.
"I call the first fight!" I said, rushing in again. She slammed it into the ground, scattering the gang and desks everywhere.
"What's this girl's problem, huh?!" Kurumu asked, diving out of the way of a horizontal strike.
"She's insane!" Lady said as her and Ayane both rolled under the tree.
"You got that right!" Ayane agreed.
"She doesn't care what she destroys!" Yukari said, narrowly dodging a vertical slam that shattered desks and broke the tree in half.
"What are you randomly attacking them for, I thought you were only going for us?" I said, pointing at Damion, Moka and myself.
"Stop! Kokoa, no!" Moka pleaded.
Tsukune suddenly threw himself in front of her, trying to man up as Kokoa picked up a desk and jumped into the air. "Moka! Leave this to me!" He told her, looking over his shoulder at her, turning back just in time to get nailed in the head as Kokoa swung the desk, much to her surprise and confusion. And from the look of it, the desk went into his head a bit.
[HOLY shit.]
Holy shit!
"Yeah, good job, Tsukune. You REALLY handled that. Very masterful." I said sarcastically.
Damion just laughed. "What the hell did you think you could do dumbass?! You are a human trying to take on a vampire. It's like trying to fight me or Sai, and we don't have to use a bit of our power to take you out!" He said, still laughing his ass off.
"You literally CANNOT say he didn't deserve that." Ayane said.
"I don't even feel bad for him." Lady said, almost smirking.
Moka screamed. "Tsukune!" She called out.
Suddenly, Kokoa began sniffing the air. At that moment, she dropped to her knees right beside his head, then put her hands on the ground, her head no above his. "I thought this last time, but he sure does smell good." She said, licking some of the blood running down his face.
I then turned to the 4th wall. "Oh, I forgot to mention: After Kokoa tore my face open with her bike, she shortly after crashed into Tsukune, made him bleed a few times, then licked his blood. Shortly after that, she elbow bashed Damion." I explained.
"Should we do something about that?" Lady asked.
"Why?" Ayane asked.
Kurumu did. She sent Kokoa flying by hitting her with the same desk. "What exactly do you think you're trying to pull, huh?" She asked.
"Tskune, are you okay?!" Moka asked, terrified.
"Moka, his blood's everywhere!" Yukari freaked out.
Suddenly, Moka got a whiff of the blood. "Oh, no! That smell! I can't control myself!" She said.
Damion and I both deadpanned. "[Are you fucking kidding me?]" We said at the same time along with my head voices.
"Get it together, Moka!" Kurumu said, sending her flying with the desk as well.
"It does show they both responded the same way to Tsukune's blood. They're sisters alright." Yukari said, the classic sweatdrop on her head.
"Well, they may be short one place setting this Christmas." I said.
"You just had to get in my way!" Kokoa said, emerging from a pile of desks.
Hey, where the hell did all the desks come from?
[That... Is an excellent question.]
"More stupid anime plotholes." I said, shaking my head.
"If you're going to interfere, I guess I'll just have to take you out as well." She said, getting up and out of the pile.
"Oh no, how is she still okay?!" Kurumu said in fear.
"Wow, she's a tough one." Mizore said, as usual, stalking from behind a tree.
Hey, we should introduce Mizore to Hinata. They have a lot in common. They'd hit it off right away!
[At the risk of turning Hinata into MORE of a stalker and teaching her some of Mizore's other bad habits.]
"Like what? Hinata can't freeze people." I said.
[No, but I'm sure she could throw kunai at people getting too close to Naruto.]
… Point proven.
"Okay, I'll give you that one." I agreed, then turned my attention to Kokoa. "Now then. Let's let Moka cool off and you can show me what you can do. I beat Inner Moka, so you should be an easy small-fry." I said, bouncing in place a few times to limber up and get pumped, throwing a couple punches, ending the combo in an uppercut.
"I think Dante's rubbed off on you too much." Lady said.
"Which could explain why he's so annoying." Ayane huffed.
"What's going on here?" A new voice rang out with an English accent. The new gym teacher who I convinced to teach here walked up, Bayonetta.
"Oh, nothing. Just showing the freshman who's boss and why picking a fight with me is bad for her health." I said.
"Well, I'm sure you're aware there should be no fighting on campus. Take it off school grounds." She said.
"That's why she's an awesome teacher. Most teachers would say no fighting, she just says not to destroy public property or the school grounds." I explained.
"This is the new first year, Kokoa Shuzen." Ruby said, appearing from nowhere, dressed up looking like a secretary.
"Shuzen?" Yukari asked.
"Okay, what the hell is Ruby doing here?" Tsukune asked.
"Damn. I thought that killed you." I said, disappointed.
"It's a long story. But right now I'm working for the director and helping out wherever there's a need." She said.
"That's not the issue. Now that I think of it, Kokoa should be in class with me at the moment. It looks like I've found a volunteer to teach the class about fighting kendo style." Bayonetta said.
"Like Saeko's fighting style?" I said, turning to Damion, who nodded.
"Well, it looks like you guys are safe for now. But next time, I'm gonna wipe you off the face of the earth forever, Moka Akashiya." She said. Then she quickly ran off with Bayonetta in close pursuit.
"Oh, I seem to have lost my train of thought." Ruby said.
"I didn't know you had one of those." I said.
Later in the infirmary...
Damion, Lady and I were trying to remove the raven wings Ruby shot into my chest while Yukari was tending to the wounds of nobody's favorite dumbass. "Don't you worry, Tsukune. I'll fix you up." She said, dabbing away the blood.
"Hey, Yukari, why don't you let me help?" Moka said.
Kurumu then held her back. "No, stay away, Moka! If you get near him, you're just gonna suck his blood!" She told her.
"Hey, I've got an idea, Moka. Why don't you tell us about your sister? I'd like to hear the story." Tsukune said.
"And we don't want to." I said as Lady pulled the last wing out.
"Oh, yeah. Her name was Kokoa, wasn't it?" Kurumu asked.
"I have a feeling my vote is going to be unheard. Just like always." I said, looking at the ground (it's true. In school during Advisory, my opinion is almost ALWAYS disagreed with. But then again, I either say the opposite of everyone else and say the most violent, least school-appropriate things).
"But wait, if you're sisters, how come you have different last names. Hers is Shuzen and yours is Akashiya." Yukari said, confused.
Moka paused and Tsukune, being a dumbass once again, laughed and rubbed the back of his head. "Well, I guess if she really doesn't wanna talk about it." He said.
She then jolted up suddenly. "No, it's just-" She started, then sighed. "Alright. Originally, there were 4 of us. Me and my 3 sisters. Counting from the top, I'm the 3rd oldest. Kokoa's the youngest of us all, just one behind me. She and I had different mothers, but as kids, we lived in the same house." She explained.
"Yeah, but, how do you get to the point where you're always fighting each other?" Tsukune asked.
"It's just sibling rivalry. In a fight, my brother won't be satisfied until he's broken something vital for the opponent to move." I explained, remembering the times we've fought and once when we put each other into a coma. I sighed peacefully. "Good times, good times." I said with a nod.
There was a flashback, presumably when they were much younger, Kokoa was running at Moka with a battle ax, but Moka (Inner) easily brought up her leg and sent Kokoa flying.
"That's just the way we were, even back then. We were constantly fighting every day." Moka said.
Kokoa crashed to the ground and Moka stood over her younger sister. "You can try all you want, but you're never gonna beat me. You need to learn your place." She said.
"No! You haven't beat me yet, Moka!" Kokoa said, but she clearly wasn't getting back up for a while.
Moka merely sighed and closed her eyes. "Come on, Kokoa. I'm getting fed up on how fixated you are on this." She said, then opened her eyes and smiled.
"You see, as a kid, unlike now, I didn't have this rosary on my chest to help control my power. Poor Kokoa. She never beat me, not even once." Moka said.
"It's always good to establish dominance. It's pretty clear at my house the only one who can bring down my brother is my father." I said.
Back to the flashback...
Moka knocked down Kokoa again. "Just give up, Kokoa." She said.
Kokoa merely rolled into a sitting position. "No! I refuse to quit! One of these days, I'm gonna take you down!" She said.
Moka looked at her, then turned towards the window. "I'm sorry, but that will never happen." She said.
"Huh?" Kokoa asked.
"I've been keeping this a secret, but I'm gonna be moving out soon." She said, shocking Kokoa. "Apparently they're going to seal away my powers and after that I'll go live with my real mother in the human world." She explained.
Back to us...
"How cruel! You should at least have gotten a say in the matter. It's not right to seal away such awesome badass power. If you tried that on anyone in my family, they'd kill you without a second thought." I said.
Back to the flashback...
"As far as our little fights, today was your last day to beat me." Moka said.
"I don't understand. No. No fair!" Kokoa said.
"Kokoa..." Moka said.
"It's your fault. I'm never gonna forgive you no matter how long I live!" Kokoa shouted, tears in her eyes.
The next scene played where a car was driving away from the mansion, Moka leaning out the window, waving to Kokoa, who was chasing after them with a naginata (a sword on the end of a staff. Fun fact: That's my brother's middle name). "But Kokoa never gave up. She chased after me when I went to the human world and kept challenging me to fights." Moka said. Then next scene was at night, Kokoa appeared outside of Moka's window, dressed up like Ghost Face from Scream as Moka cowered under the covers, then she chased Moka with a Chucky doll as Moka ran screaming. "My powers were sealed by the rosary and I wasn't strong enough to fight her." She continued, the next scene, Moka was hiding around the corner as Kokoa looked for her, dressed like Freddy Kreuger. "All I could do was run away." She finished, the last scene being Kokoa chasing after her with a chainsaw and wearing a hockey mask.
Everyone looked at her and I was even crying. Not for this, however, because (I'm actually doing this now) I watched Soul Eater NOT like Damion suggested and was weeping at how different they made the original characters look. "Black Star! Maka! Tsubaki! What have they done to you! Black Star is supposed to look younger, he almost looks like he's in his 20's!" I wept, then saw Kid's appearance and promptly screamed. "WHAT THE FUCK?! Kid looks like a chick!" I said in disbelief. "And this doesn't even make sense! How are they Seniors?! The anime takes place a year after this! They'd have graduated! And they're only like 14 or 15 in the anime! No way in hell are they seniors now!" I continued to rant. "They even ruined Soul! THEY EVEN RUINED SOUL!" I continued to weep and panic. I then pulled out Fire and Ice. "That's it! I'm done! I cannot go on living if THIS is what they do to the main characters!" I said, putting both barrels to my head. But then it got to a badass part and Soul was moving around Maka's hand in weapon form without any movement from her, spinning around like a propeller and moving ways that should be physically impossible for a solid object. Shortly after, the princess chick used the main girl as a halberd and easily kicked two guys' asses. "Okay, nevermind, this show just became awesome." I said.
"Are you even paying attention?" Tsukune demanded.
I looked away from my laptop and back at him. "Oh, right, for a second I forgot you existed. Still wish I forgot that." I smirked.
"So let me get this straight. You're saying that Kokoa chased you all the way here to Yokai Academy?" Yukari asked.
"I'm afraid so." Moka said tiredly.
"Tough break." Ayane said indifferently.
"Good luck with that." Lady said
"I don't mind. One more vampire to fight is fine by me. Hell, we should have a battle royale." I smirked.
"I like the way you think." Damion said.
It should be noted that Yukari said something, but the music the person on YouTube played to into the video played too long as it was too loud to hear what she mumbled. "I wonder if that's really the only reason." Tsukune said.
"Stop trying to think. You're not good at it." I told him.
"DISS!" Damion laughed.
"Well, from her point of view, she sees me as the irresponsible big sister who left her. And she probably despises me because of it." Moka said.
"So what? Me and my brother tell each other all the time how much we hate and want to kill each other. It bonds us all the more. That's brotherly love if there ever was one." I said reminiscently.
"Well, anyway, it's not like the whole ordeal was your fault." Tsukune said.
"Yeah, you're not to blame!" Yukari piped up.
Suddenly, Mizore popped out of the air vent with ice claws already. "Man, you're little sister sucks. Want me to just freeze her and be done with it?" She asked.
"Please and thank you." I said.
"You can't! Messed up as she is, she's still family to me, you guys!" She shouted.
"So?" I asked.
"So!? Wouldn't you save your brother if he was in life threatening danger?" She demanded.
I laughed and shook my head. "No. If there's ever a situation where HE needs help, I'm running for the hills. He could easily destroy Damion with a thought, if something can beat him, I'm not getting in it's way." I said.
"But at this rate, you could wind up dead!" Tsukune said.
"She wanted a fight with the three of us, she'll start with me." I said, walking out. "Oh, Kokoa! Come out and play!" I called.
"No, Sai, wait!" Moka shouted, but then Lady grabbed her.
"Relax. He'll let her live. He just likes the thrill of the fight. Besides, I wanna see how this ends. I wonder where she is anyway?" Lady pondered.
"I can answer that! She's coming right now! I found them Ms. Kokoa!" Kou called.
"Nice job, Mr. Kou!" She shouted, then burst in.
"She's here!" Everyone said, shocked.
"I guess we should've stopped him after all." Damion said.
"If you thought you could get away from me, you've got another thing coming! Let's go, Kou buddy!" She said, raising her hand.
"Right away, Ms. Kokoa!" He said, flying into her hand. She squeezed him and he suddenly became a giant hammer. Tsukune started screaming like a bitch.
"Will you shut up already?" Ayane said, annoyed.
"Really." Lady agreed.
Kokoa laughed, holding him above her head. "My shape-shifting bat can transform, which means I can turn him into whatever I want!" She said evilly.
"Whoa! Did they put the bat in the show just for that?!" Kurumu said, freaking out.
"Those crazy writers had this in their back pocket the whole first season!" Yukari said, equally freaked out.
"Here comes the pain!" She laughed, rushing in.
"You got that right!" I said, using Liu Kang's Flying Dragon Kick to hit her in the small of her back, launching her out of the office and out of the window. "Sorry for cutting out a bit of the episode, folks, but A: This chapter's getting too long and I couldn't bare to add in Moka's fail a few seconds after this." I said to you readers, then jumped out after her.
"Sai, wait!" Moka pleaded, but was knocked out by Damion with a small chop to the neck.
"Damion, what the hell?!" Tsukune demanded.
"Let's see how this pans out. Besides, she's fine. And Sai told me to." Damion said, holding up his phone to reveal the text I sent him: Operations knock-out-Moka-so-she-won't-annoy-us.
"What the hell is your problem?!" Kokoa demanded, stopping herself by turning the bat into a spiked metal bat with and stabbing it into the ground.
"Your fight is with me first, not Moka." I told her.
"Well, well, Sai Blade. I didn't imagine you'd be dumb enough to come to me. Now you can kiss your ass goodbye." She said, getting ready to attack.
"I've beaten 2 vampires before, one with powers from Heaven and Hell. One more shouldn't be much of a problem." I said crossing my arms.
"Comin' at ya!" She shouted, rushing in.
"Whoop!" I said, flipping over her easily and landing perfectly on my feet in an elegant pose.
"Ole'!" Damion and Lady shouted, Damion tossing his hat he got from nowhere and Lady tossing roses.
I then pulled out a red cloak and held it out like a bullfighter. "Come on, girl! Are you bashful?" I taunted.
"I'm gonna crush you!" She said, rushing at me, swinging, but I jumped and spun in midair, landing in another elegant ballet pose, the cloak wrapped around my waist like a tutu.
"Ole'!" They cheered again, tossing more items.
I readied the cloak and and easily toyed with Kokoa, simply dodging left and right, at one point jumping into the air just above her and flapping the cloak as if it were wings. "That's it! Say goodnight!" Kokoa said aiming right at my head. I waited until it was a centimeter away and activated Witch Time. Another split second and I'd be in a coma. I merely walked around her and pulled out a sharpie. I scribbled a french mustache, Satan beard and monocle (right eye) on her face, then yanked her skirt down to her ankles, then stepped over to where Damion and Lady were, leaning up against Damion with one arm on his shoulder.
"What do you think, Damion? Too perverted?" I asked.
"Nah, it's fine, they're exposed every 5 seconds in the show, anyway." I said in his voice, working his jaw like a puppet.
"Okay." I said, snapping my fingers and making time move again.
"What the?! Where'd you go!? What's this stuff on my face?" She said, rubbing it off and looking down at her hand, then she saw her skirt around her ankles and let out a scream. "Hey, what the hell?!" She demanded, trying to pull her blazer down enough to cover her panties.
"That's not really helping the situation." Damion smirked.
"Sai! Did you have to do that?!" Moka asked.
"Oh, man! I almost didn't do it! Oh, damn, I'm glad I listened to you, Damion." I laughed, then calmed down slowly.
"Why you dirty pervert! I'm gonna stomp your guts out!" She snapped, yanking up her skirt and rushing at me.
"Kokoa going back to being humiliated in 3, 2, 1..."
"Okay, let me see, I haven't really used my L'Cie powers too much. Time to start." I said, switching to saboteur, casting Deshellga, Deprotega, imperilga, slowga, fogga, painga and cursega.
This caused her to freak out in pain and the fact she couldn't see. "What the hell is going on! What did you do to me?! When I find you, mark my words, I will make you choke to death on your own blood!" She said, rolling on the ground trying to figure out what was going on. "And why am I so slow?!" She said, taking to account she was barely moving.
"Now then. Make myself even more OP." I said, switching to Syntergist, casting Bravera, Faithra, Haste, Vigilance and Enthunder on myself, rushing in quicker than even Damion could see. "SHORYUKEN!" I shouted, launching a mighty uppercut to send her flying.
She tried to get up, but she couldn't. She was too weak. "Dammit! This is all your fault, Moka! My big sister up and left me in that big house all alone. How do you think I felt, huh?" She asked.
"I see now-" Tsukune said, walking up as if he was going to say something meaningful, getting simultaneous reactions from Damion, Lady and I.
Damion: "No."
Lady. "Keep your mouth closed before you sound like even more of an idiot."
Sai: "Don't. Just don't."
"The only thing she wanted was to fight Inner Moka and win. When she was gone, she didn't have that chance. And this new Moka replaced Inner Moka, which is why she hates and wants to kill the new Moka." I explained.
"E... Exactly. I just wanna wipe that new Moka off the face of the earth!" Kokoa said, practically crying.
"Tell you what, the next time we need her, I'll take off the rosary so you can spend a little quality time with your sister again. Maybe SHE won't hesitate about kicking your head off." I said in a voice like Alucard's walking away.
"Damn, that was cold. I like it." Damion said approvingly.
"Good work, baby. I think you earned a reward back at your dorm. 5 minutes." Lady said, pulling out Kalina Ann and firing the bayonet to grapple herself back into the nurse's office.
"Sai? Hello?" Damion said, then whistled, waving his hand in front of my face as I was still as a statue. Then, at speeds unthinkable, I rushed off, leaving a giant trail of fire behind me. "Who else but Sai?" Damion chuckled, shaking his head lightly.
"Hey! She's not getting any alone time with you, I am! Get back here!" Kurumu said, rushing after me.
"Hey, wait for me!" Yukari said, quickly following.
"Sai is mine!" Moka said!
All 3 girls got to my dorm and were disappointed, angry and shocked to see it was locked and secured behind a reinforced steel wall with a sign: To not disturb.
