Rydels POV

I wake up to a knock on my door. "mhmm" i say sitting up. "hey rydel can you get ross and come a stairs into the kitchen for a minute" My mom says "em yeah sure" I say getting out of bed.

I walk into Ross's room to see that he fell asleep in his clothes. I walk over to him and tip him "Ross" i say. He groans and turns over. "ross come on mom wants us to come down stairs for a minute" i say.

"ugh" he says and sits up. It looks like he was crying again last night as his eyes were red and puffy. "oh ross" i say and hug him. He doesnt say anything and just nuzzles his head into my shoulder.

I think maybe he is starting to get better because he doesnt cry this time he just stays there for awhile. "okay go wash your face so it doesnt look like you were cryingand then well go down stairs to mom ill wait for you" i say

"okay can you help me up" ross says starting to sit up "yeah sure" i say . I grab his crutches and help him stand up. When im helping him up i notice cuts on his arms. Did he cut himself? Oh jesus no.

I decide ill talk to him about it later and hand him the crutches. He goes to the bathroom. He come out a minute later and it doesnt look like he was crying "okay come on" i say walking to the door and holdinit open for ross.

He goes out andwaits at the stairs as i follow behind. I help him down the stairs and then we both go into the kitchen. Everybody is already here ratliff still never came back though. Me and ross sit down and i say "okay whats going on?"

"Okay this is veryhard to say to use after everything thats happened" mom says "what now did you loose the house did someone die" riker said sarcastically "shut up riker" Rosie says giving him a glare.

"No em me and mark are getting a divorce" mom says. A divorse. "Is it because of all our problems you cant handle it so one of you is leaving" rocky says "Is it too much" ryland says. Ross is staying really quite.

"No no its just we avent loved each other the way we used to in a year" Mark says . "So what which one of you are leaving, or are you both leavin,are we leaving" rosie says "im not going anywhere and either is anyone else" riker says

I look over to ross and i can tell hes really stressed out . I know i cant mention the cuts infront of everyone because he'll probally freak out but i just want to go over to him hug him and tell him cutting is not the answer.

"I'm leaving but you all and your mother are staying here, ill visit though' dad says "thats what every dad says before they disaper" ryland says "ryland hes not like that" rocky says "well you never know" i say

"true" riker says "has he ever ditched us before no of course he isnt going to now" rosie says "GUYS" both mom and dad say at the same time. "Im not gonna ditch you guys thats the last thingid think of" dad says

"Yes when he gets a place yous will probably go down every weekend" mom says "Where are you going to stay now?" i ask "im going back to colorado. "What" rosie says "but thats so far" "I Know its not permanent though its just until i find a house closer to here" dad says

"Im going tonight" dad says and then walks out of the room. "Bullshit" riker says and storms out of the house "typical thats all he can ever do " Rosie says and walks upstairs . Ryland and rocky walk into the sitting room leaving me mom and ross.

"mum im so sorry" I say walking over to her and hugging her "its okay its for the best" mom says. She then walks over to ross and places a hand on ross's shoulder. "ross are you okay you havent talked at all" she says.

ross hugs mom and says "yeah im fine you dont worry" I wanted to scream out no your not fine and lift up his sleeve to show mom the cuts but ross wouldnt be impressed. Mom leaves and i hear her walk upstairs.

I make sure all the doors are closed and no on is in sight before walking over to ross. I gently lift his wrist up. He winces in pain but tries to hide it. I notice though and i know i wasnt seeing things.

I lift his sleeve up gently to show all the cuts on his skin. Thers about twenty of them. I feel ross's breathe pick up and heart start to race. I think hes about to freak out so i hug him to try calm him down.

He burrys his head in my chest and i feel him starting to panic. "ross shh" i say "its okay i wont tell anyone but we need to talk" "you know you can talk to me about anything and i wont tell" i say

He starts to calm down and sits up straight. "Am i that bad. Am i that stupid and idiotic and thoughtless that i didnt see i was being played. And am i that ugly and wierd and unlikable that ive to be ignored .

And am i that creepy that im upset that riker is ignoring me and that i want to kiss him again so bad" he finally says. I can see tears welling up in his eyes. I cant believe he feels that way. "no ross god no" i say

i hug hi and rub his back. After a little while we pull apart. He rubs his eyes stopping the tears to pour out and calms himself down. "i wont do it again ill stop" he says. Thank god he said that. "Okay i say

"So where is the blade" "in my bathroom" he says. I walk up stairs and into ross's bathroom. i open the door and look around. I eventually find the blade behind the toliet pot. I grab it and walk down stairs.

"Is this the only one?" I say " he nods his head . I throw it in the bin. When i do he looks kind of crushed. Like he needs it to survie. "You'll manage ross" i say "It'll just take time but i need you to stay strong"

"ill try" he says ihug him again. Just as we pulll apart rocky and ryland walk in. Rocky walks over to him and hugs him ." Eavesdroppers" i say "we wont tell anyone" ryland says rocky and ross pull apart and rocky says "our secret"
