Naruto: Return of the Bloodedge
Hey guys and gals! I'm back with another chapter of Return of the Bloodedge! In the last chapter we learned that Ragna had saved Hinata and Hanabi and the surviving members of the Uchiha clan. Something I should have put in last chapter, because someone was confused on this so I'm sure there are others that are, the reason that Nu, Jin and those guys are alive is because, and keep in mind I'm totally making this up after all that's what fan fiction is, after the events in the true ending of Calamity Trigger, they each got trapped in a dimensional rift where time never affected them and reversed their ages to the same age as Naruto because he pulled Blood-scythe out of its prison. So while Ragna and those that weren't caught in a rift aged and died, the ones that were in the dimensional rifts didn't. When Naruto pulled Blood-scythe, it caused a flux in the rifts causing them to close and everyone that was in them to be released. If any of you have a better idea for how they're still alive, either PM me or say it in a review. The wheel of fate is turning, rebel 3. ACTION!

Ragna and the others entered the academy. Ragna looked at them and they nodded. They had agreed the previous day that they wouldn't sit next to each other. Ragna walked to the back of the room and sat in the last seat next to the window. Jin sat in the last seat in the front of the room. Rachel sat in the middle of the middle row. Nu sat on the opposite end of the room from Ragna. Noel did the same for Jin. Litchi sat near the front of the room. Tao sat near Satsuki. Soon students started filing in. A girl with platinum blonde hair that was tied in a pony-tail on top of her head, wearing a purple dress that showed off her long legs, noticed Ragna sitting alone and basically sprinted to sit next to him. She claimed the seat right next to Ragna's with a smile on her face. Ragna didn't take notice of her which irritated her to a point, but she let it slide and decided to introduce herself to this hotty.
"Hi there, I'm Ino Yamanaka. What's your name?" She asked. Ragna looked at as if he just now noticed her presence, because in all honesty he had.
"I'm Ragna." He said before going back to looking out the window.
"Wait the Ragna? The one everyone is talking about?" Ino asked. Without looking at her, he nodded. She was surprised, but didn't show it. She tried to get him to engage in conversation with her, but he just didn't seem to care. It was beginning to irritate her. Before she could continue their "conversation" a girl with pink hair wearing a red dress that had slits up the side showing off her legs(A/N: As pathetic as they are), with a pair of biker shorts on underneath the dress, it had a white circle design on it as well, came up to the two of them, while glaring at both of them.
"Ino what do you think you're doing talking to that freak?" She said.
"Well Sakura, I was just trying to make more friends. Do you have a problem with that?"
"Yes because you shouldn't be friends with such a freak!" The girl now identified as Sakura screech. Ragna growled, his short fuse that he gained from the original Ragna showing itself because of his annoyance, and was about ready to get out of his seat and Dead Spike her in half. However before he could, Ino punched Sakura in the face for the insult.
"Shut up! Kami-sama! You're so annoying! I've had enough of your annoying ass, you fucking banshee!" She yelled shocking everyone, especially Sakura. After she said what she wanted to she sat back down next to Ragna, who had a shocked look on his face. He'd heard that Ino and Sakura were the best of friends, but because Sakura insulted him, Ino punched her.
"Why did she punch me? I was only speaking the truth. He must have her under his control! I have to find a way to wake her up! Oh if only there was a male Uchiha heir, then we'd be fawning over him together." Sakura stupidly thought as she got to her feet and sat down next to the Inuzuka Clan heir, Kiba, and his canine partner Akamaru. After a few minutes, two chunin walked in. One had brown hair in a pineapple like shape on top of his head, and a long scar across the bridge of his nose. The other had spiky silver colored hair. They were both wearing the traditional chunin outfits.
"Hello to you all. I'm Iruka Umino and this is Mizuki (A/N: He has no listed last name, I may give him one if anyone has any ideas for it I'll listen to them)...um what was your last name again?" The now identified Iruka asked his companion, which got a sweat drop from said man and a round of laughter from almost all the children in the room. The only ones who didn't laugh were the members of Ragna's group.
"I've told you my last name hundreds of times! How the hell do you keep forgetting it?" Mizuki asked in anger causing Iruka to laugh nervously.
"Let's just drop it for now ok?" He asked. Mizuki sighed, but nodded.
"Ok first things first, We're going to do roll call. Now when I call our name please stand, state your name, then tell us something about yourself that you think we all need to know. Ok first Shino Aburame." He said. A boy with dark, bushy, brown hair wearing dark sunglasses and a sea-green jacket with a high, upturned collar.
"I am Shino Aburame. The only thing you all need to know about me is that I'm the heir to the Aburame clan." He said. After he spoke he sat back down.
"Ok next is Choji Akamichi." Iruka said. A fa...big boned boy with brown hair stood up.
"I'm Choji Akamichi. Really the only thing you need to know about me is that I'm not fat I'm big boned!" He said before sitting back down.
"Okay then, Rachel Alucard?" Iruka said. Rachel stood up with a bored expression on her face.
"My name is Rachel Alucard. The only thing you need to know about me is that I'm the head of the Alucard family." She said before sitting back down. This information shocked almost everyone in te room. The only ones not shocked were Ragna and the others.
"But you're so young!" Iruka said. Rachel 'humphed'.
"That's your opinion." She said.
"Iruka drop it, let's just move on." Mizuki said.
"Okay okay, next Ragna the Bloodedge(A/N: In my opinion, Bloodedge takes the place of Ragna's last name thus making it his last name.)." Iruka said. Ragna stood up, an iritated look on his face.
"My name is Ragna the Bloodedge. The only thing you need to know about me is that my right arm isn't my real right arm." He said before sitting down. This got confused looks from all of those who didn't know Ragna's past.
"What do you mean by that?" Sakura asked, "Are you saying that its a prosthetic?"
"Technically yes, but it functions just like a real arm." He said.
"How did you lose your real one?" Ino asked. Ragna sighed and looked at Jin, who looked very depressed.
"When I was younger, my younger sister took ill. Because of this I began to spend most of my time with her. This made my younger brother jealous. In fact he became so jealous that it allowed a psychopath to temporarily possess his body. When this happened, my brother burned down the church that the three of us were living in. When I saw the smoke I came running. The first thing I noticed was that my brother wasn't acting like he normally did. I asked him if Saya, our younger sister who got sick, was all right and he said that she was all right for now, but that would change. Before I could ask him what the hell he meant, he rushed at me and cut off my right arm. He laughed insanely at my pain. The pain was so great that I blacked out. When I woke up, I was in the center of the ruins of the church and Saya and my brother were gone. I found out later that he had kidnapped her while I was unconscious. A few days later, I came upon something called the Azure Grimoire, which then attached itself to the spot where my right arm used to be and became my new right arm." He said, "Of course at first I was pissed off beyond belief, but after I learned that he hadn't been in control of his body I forgave him." All the girls that didn't know the story started to cry, well all of them except Sakura.
"That's the biggest load of bullshit I've ever heard!" She screeched.
"Its not bullshit! Its true!" Jin said, "I know because I'm his brother!"
"You're just covering for him!" Sakura screeched.
"No he's not. I know the story is true because I was there and saw the whole thing." Rachel said, "I have no reason to lie for I don't hold any personal attachment to the story."(A/N: I know Rachel wasn't there, but I'm saying she was. And if you don't like it, I've got two words for you: SUCK IT!) This shut Sakura up because she didn't know that Rachel loved Ragna.
"I can't believe that happened to you. How are you not bitter and angry at Jin for what he did?" Ino asked.
"Because he wasn't in control. I've already killed the bastard that possessed him, so there is no reason for me to hold a grudge." Ragna said.
"Okay, now that that's been explained let's move on. Next is Litchi Faye-Ling." Iruka said. Litchi stood up.
"My name is Litchi Faye-Ling and the only thing you need to know about me is that I'm a certified doctor." She said before she sat back down.
"Next Hanabi Hyuuga." Iruka said as Hanabi stood up.
"My name is Hanabi Hyuuga and that's all you need to know about me." She said before sitting back down.
"Okay, next Hinata Hyuuga." Iruka said as Hinata stood up.
"My name is Hinata Hyuuga and like my sister that's all you need to know about me." She said.
"Next is Sakura Haruno." Iruka said as Sakura stood up.
"My name is Sakura Haruno and the only thing you need to know about me is that I hate freaks." She said directing a glare at Ragna who returned it ten-fold.
"Next Kiba Inuzuka." Iruka said as a boy with brown hair wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt with fur around the hood stood up.
"My name is Kiba Inuzuka and all you need to know about me is that I love dogs." He said.
"Next is Jin Kisaragi." Iruka said. Jin stood up and sighed.
"My name is Jin Kisaragi and the only thing that is necessary to know about me is that I can control ice." He said.
"Next is Shikamaru Nara." Iruka said as a boy with pineapple shaped hair stood up.
"My name is Shikamaru Nara and its too much of a drag to tell you anything else." He said.
"Next up is Nu." Iruka said. Nu stood up.
"My name is Nu and the only thing you need to know about me is that I hate people who judge others before getting to know them." She said.
"Next is Taokaka." Iruka said as Tao stood up.
"Meow Tao's name is Taokaka and the only thing you need to know about Tao is Tao likes to have fun." Tao said before sitting back down.
"Next Satsuki Uchiha." Iruka said as Satsuki stood up.
"My name is Satsuki Uchiha and the only thing you need to know about me is that I want to avenge my clan." She said.
"Ok next Noel Vermillion." Iruka said as Noel stood up.
"My name is Noel Vermillion and the only thing you need to know about me is that I'm very protective of my friends." She said.
"And finally Ino Yamanaka." Iruka said.
"my name is Ino Yamanaka and the only thing you need to know about me is that I love flowers." She said.
"Ok now that everyone has been introduced to each other, why don't we go outside for some basic taijutsu training." Iruka said. Everyone stood up and walked to the training circle used for taijutsu. Once everyone was there Iruka began to speak.
"Ok, now if you already have a taijutsu style or have started learning one already, you can sit this out. For those of you who haven't just follow my movements and try to keep form." He stated. All the clan heirs along with Ragna and his group all sat down in the shade of one of the trees around the circle. All the others were failing miserably at following Iruka and Mizuki. Ragna shook his head at their stupidity and at how pathetic they were.
"Pathetic." He said with the others agreeing. Ragna suddenly froze as he saw two Kumo konoichi enter the training grounds. One had long, straight, blonde, hair bound with taut bandages and dark eyes. She wore a short-sleeved black and purple blouse and black pants, both of which had a design similar to clouds on them, purple fingerless gloves and a chain of blue beads wound around her left hand. She also wore the standard Kumo forehead protector, sandals and kunai holster which was strapped to her right thigh. She also wore bandages around her arms and legs as well as a red belt around her waist. The other was a fair-skinned woman of tall stature who generally wears a stoic, aloof expression on her face. She has blue eyes and straight, blonde hair framing her face cut in an asymmetrical bob style with the front bangs reaching her shoulders. She wears a very low-cut outfit which displays her sizable cleavage, with mesh armor underneath, a short skirt and red hand guards, high boots, and what appears to be a modified Kumogakure flak jacket that covers her stomach only, similar to a girdle. She also has a tantō strapped horizontally to her lower back. Instantly he was on his feet with Blood-scythe drawn, standing in front of Hinata and Hanabi.
"Why are Kumo konoichi here?" He demanded. Jin, Nu, and Tao got in front of Hinata and Hanabi as well.
"Relax, we aren't here to kidnap a Hyuga, we're here for the one who defeated the Jonin who tried it." One of them said. Ragna and his family tensed.
"Why do you want that person?" He asked.
"The Raikage wants to see him. Now do you know who he is or don't you?"
"I'm him." Ragna said, "why does the Raikage want to see me?"
"What?! There's no way!" Sakura yelled.
"Oh for the love of Kami-sama, will you shut the hell up!" Ragna yelled at her, "Now, before I go anywhere with you two, I want to know your names."
"My name is Yugito Nii." The first girl said.
"I'm Samui no last name(A/N: On the Naruto Wiki page for her profile, there is no listed last name I know people have made her Yugito's sister but I'm not going to do that)." The other girl said. Ragna nodded.
"Now we'd like to know your name." Yugito said.
"My name is Ragna the Bloodedge." He said getting a nod from both girls, "now I believe we have two kages waiting for us to return, so shall we be on our way?"
The three of them left the academy and headed toward the Hokage tower. When they arrived at the tower, the secretary smiled at Samui and Yugito, but glared at Ragna.
"You aren't allowed in here demon! Leave before I have some ANBU attack you!" She said with a smirk. As soon as she said that the doors to the Hokage's office burst open and an enraged Hiruzen Sarutobi aka the Sandime Hokage.
"Amara you're fired!" He said, "Please come in you three."
The three of them followed the Hokage into his office. Sitting inside was the Raikage. He was a tall dark-skinned man with a large muscular build, with his white hair combed back, a small mustache and beard. His face was very distinguished with pronounced cheekbones and tear troughs under his eyes, and a prominent crease across his forehead. He had pointed canines and his top lip also had a darker hue than the bottom one; traits he inherited from his father. Unlike other Kage, he seemed to wear his Kage haori and hat on a regular basis without a shirt underneath, further displaying his hulking physique. He had black Fūma Shuriken tattoos on both shoulders. He had gold bangle bracelets on each wrist which have protrusions that can jut out when he attacks. Overall the man would be very intimidating to most people, but to Ragna he was just another village's leader. Ragna could tell he was very powerful, but he assumed that strength cost the Raikage his speed, however he knew that people are capable of surprising you. The Raikage stood from his seat to get a good look at Ragna.
"This is the one who killed Amoro? He doesn't look like much." A, the Raikage, thought.
"A, Raikage-dono, I'd like you to meet Ragna the Bloodedge." Sarutobi said. A extended his hand to Ragna signaling he wanted to shake hands. Ragna did the same out of respect for the Raikage. As the two of them shook hands, each began to squeeze the others hand in an attempt to gauge how strong the other was. It was a complete stalemate. They dropped hands and Ragna bowed.
"Its an honor to meet you Raikage-sama." He said.
"Bah, call me A, boy I've never been one for formalities." A said, "So you're the one who killed Amoro and saved the two Hyugas?"
"That is correct A-san. If you wish I could tell you how it transpired." Ragna said.
"Please do, I wish to know how you killed him." A said. So Ragna began the tale of that night and told of how he killed Amoro. He didn't say where the power he used to kill the man came from, after all Shinobi need to have some secrets, but he did tell the name of the attack that killed the man and what it did. When he ended the tale, A whistled.
"You're a real power house kid, I'll give you that." He said.
"Thank you A-san." Ragna said. A started to stroke his beard in contemplation.
"What are you thinking Raikage-dono?" Sarutobi asked.
"I'm thinking of how to peacefully resolve this problem. I'm thinking something along the lines of a political marriage." A responded.
"That will work, but who will be married to who?" Sarutobi asked.
"I think the obvious groom should be Ragna, because he killed Amoro, but I'm considering giving him two brides." A said.
"Oh, and who would they be?" Sarutobi asked.
"I was thinking Yugito and Samui." A responded causing the two girls eyes to widen.
"WHAT?!" They both screamed with Ragna thinking along the same lines.
"No offense A-san, but I really don't think that either one of them would want to be with me considering what I am." Ragna said with a sad tone. This caused everyone to look at him.
"What do you mean by that Ragna-san?" Samui asked.
"I'm a Jinchuriki, but a special one. I don't contain a tailed beast I contain something far worse. I contain the Black Beast, a creature whose sole purpose is to destroy the world. I'm on friendly terms with her, but that still doesn't change the fact that I'm a Jinchuriki." He said.
"Like that would matter to me." Yugito said, "I'm the Jinchuriki of the Matatabi no Nibi."
"It wouldn't matter to me either Ragna. Yugito and I are so close we're practically sisters." Samui said. Their responses surprised Ragna and made him smile slightly.
"Thank you both. That still doesn't change the fact that I wouldn't want to take both of your freedoms away." He said, "I doubt you'd want to marry me anyway."
"Now you don't know that for sure Ragna-san." Samui said, "Maybe if we got to know each other better we may actually fall for you."
"Yeah anything is possible Ragna-kun." Yugito said before blushing realizing the suffix she added to his name.
"Kitten, you know you want him. He's a gentleman, strong and caring. He's also hot as hell!" Nibi said to her container.
"NIBI SHUT UP!" Yugito thought while blushing.
"Its settled then. You two will be married to Ragna for the sake of peace and an alliance between our villages. However, I believe it would be wise to wait until the Chunin Exams to announce this development. Wouldn't you agree A-dono?" Hiruzen said.
"Yes I agree wholeheartedly." A said.
"Now might be a good time to mention this. I have a kekkei genkai.(A/N: That's right Ragna's gonna have a Bloodline! NO WHINING!) I have the Kyūkyoku Rinnegan(Ultimate Saṃsāra Eye). It is a combination of the Rinnegan, Byakugan, and Sharingan." Ragna said. He activated his Kyūkyoku Rinnegan. Like the traditional Rinnegan his eyes turned purple and gained three rings around his pupil. The pupil itself had bulged out like the Byakugan. Around the first two rings and pupil were tomoe, three around the pupil, six around the first ring, and nine around the second ring. This shocked everyone present.
"How do you have a kekkei genkai?" A asked.
"I unlocked it when I became the new Grim Reaper." Ragna said, "The Azure Grimoire unlocked it somehow." (A/N: from my understanding the Azure Grimoire has the power to do this)
"Well this has been an enlightening meeting." Hiruzen said, "You may return to the academy Ragna."
Ragna nodded and exited the office. As he walked through the streets of the village he got hateful and disgusted looks from the villagers. He ignored them. He couldn't care less if they hated him. They were fickle. They feared him for no reason. They simply feared what they didn't understand. One of the villagers decided it would be a good idea to throw a rock at Ragna's head. It was not. He easily caught it and turned around to face the one that threw it. He looked straight into that person's eyes and crushed the rock. That seemed to scare the rest of them into only glaring at him. He arrived back at the academy just as they finished basic taijutsu training. Almost all of the students that had no previous taijutsu training looked like they were dead on their feet.
"This is so pathetic. Not one of them would have survived anything Hazama or Terumi sent their way" Ragna thought. Terumi was an insane bastard, but he strengthened Ragna and his family. Iruka and Mizuki noticed Ragna had returned. They called for everyone to head back inside. Once everyone was back inside and in their seats, Iruka spoke.
"Okay, now we'll begin talking about the history of our village." He said, "It all started..."
Ragna just tuned him out. He began thinking about how his life had changed ever since he found the original's tomb. His life had become a nonstop adventure, and he had a feeling that this was only the beginning.
Sorry for the long wait, I had no working computer at home and school was out for the summer. I'm a senior so my posting will most likely be even fewer and far between. I'm very sorry for the wait. I hated doing that to you guys. Anyway, HOLY CRAP! Over 4000 words and counting! I hope this is long enough for you guys after the long wait. See you next chapter!
