The Bizarre Saga: Twilight Princess
Chapter 23: The Epic End

Previously on The Bizarre Saga, Link transformed into Oni, Saria took her anger out on a giant hand, Navi tried to tell Saria what to do, Midna scared the crap out of Link, Nathan felt like his purpose was fading, and Zant brought out his army of killer Teletubbies.

Now for Chapter Twenty-three.

"Dawn of the final chapter, one chapter remains…" Oni said. He sighed. "Dang it, Link!" In his head, Link was smiling.

Since the last chapter, the entire team had been fighting the giant Teletubbies, including Navi and Midna, because they are actually capable of fighting. Even though they had killed dozens of these evil Teletubbies, they never seemed to end.

"Remind me why we haven't tried attacking Zant yet?!" Saria yelled, shooting the Teletubbies with bomb arrows, having gotten tired of using her sword.

"He keeps dodging all of our ranged attacks!" Oni told her.

Saria groaned. "Then go fly up there and fight him with your stupid sword like a smart person! I mean, he's just floating there eating FRICKIN' POPCORN." She shot a bomb arrow at Zant, who dodged it by simply moving his head. She growled.

"WHAT?! POPCORN?!" Oni angrily flew up to Zant at a very high speed, took the popcorn out of his hand and threw it all over him. "You do not eat popcorn during a fight!" However, when Oni slashed at him with his giant helix sword, Zant flew out of the way. "FIGHT ME, DANG IT!"

"I won't be defeated so easily!" Zant said, "For I can fly out the way, and there's nothing you can do about it- HOLY MUFFINS!" He barely dodged a second bomb arrow from Saria. In the split second that he was dodging, Oni grinned and hit him while his guard was down. "Hey, you cheating rats!"

"Honestly, is that the best you can come up with?" Saria asked. "I'm pretty sure we're the exact opposite of rats, thank you. And besides, you're the one who's being a cheapskate and floating up there!"

Suddenly, everybody noticed that the killer Teletubbies had stop coming up after Midna had disposed of the last one in the area. While they had been taking care of the Teletubbies, Navi had somehow gotten to where they were coming from and discovered that there had been some kind of machine 'spawning' them and had destroyed it.

"You wretched little fairy!" Zant shouted in anger. "I thought nobody would ever find that spawner!"

"It was behind a tree," Navi spoke. "Not very well hidden, if you ask me. Now that those stupid thing are gone, we can all attack you now, right? Actually, don't answer that. WE'RE COMING TO DESTROY YOU NOW."

Unfortunately for them, Zant's dodging skills seemed to level up within those minutes, and nobody could land a single hit on him, even with Saria and Oni attacking at the same time. Zant also put up a magic shield, completely preventing Nate's fire from even hurting him.

"FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!" Midna screamed, completely fed up with this situation. This caught everyone else's attention. "Why won't you just FREAKING DIE?! YOU THRONE THIEF!"

Right then, Zant decided to be even more obnoxious. He had the nerve to get out a music player and start playing the troll song that he had on it for some reason.

"ALL RIGHT, THAT'S IT! YOU'RE DEAD!"

Midna sent her hand-hair flying at Zant, catching him and crushing him with it. He literally exploded, leaving no trace. The team teleported back into the Twilight palace as a result.

Everybody stared at her.

"Congratulations!" another random Twili said. "You defeated the Usurper Not-a-King-anymore Zant! You got your Fused Shadows back, so now you can go finish this once and for all!"

Everybody was still staring at Midna.

She sweat-dropped. "Um, how long are you guys going to be doing that…?" she asked.

Everyone on the team besides her started talking at once, either about how she did that, how awesome it was, why she couldn't have done it earlier, or how scarily powerful she was. Nothing was actually understandable.

When the talking stopped, Oni was the only one left talking. "But it's only been like, a few minutes! Why do you have to turn back now?!" he shouted, talking to Link again. "Yeah, yeah, I know! But do you have any idea how boring it is to be a mask?!"

Navi suddenly understood his problems and had an idea. "If breaking the curse on Midna might bring Zelda back to life, we might be able to ask her for help in this situation," she spoke. "Zelda seems to be a pretty skilled mage, and heck, she was able to give her life force to Midna at will. People aren't supposed to be able to do that!"

"How does that prove that she'll be able to do anything?"

"She's got the Triforce of Wisdom, I'm pretty sure she'll be able to do something."

Midna hemmed to get their attention. "Now that we've defeated Zant and gotten the Fused Shadows back, we need to go back to Hyrule Castle," she told them. "Now we should be able to beat Ganondorf."

"When did Ganondorf get in Hyrule Castle?" Nathan asked.

"I don't know, Zelda logic! NOW!" She clapped her hands. The Twili with the magic carpet flew in. "We're getting out of here!"

"… I just realized that there weren't any scene transition marks in the last chapter," Nathan stated.

The magic carpet approached the portal going back into the world of light. It teleported each of the team members back to the Mirror Chamber in the desert.

"Warping, in ten, nine, eight…" Midna started. "Oh, screw it. WARPING TIME!" She snapped her fingers and they warped to the gate of Hyrule Castle Town.

Oni groaned. "Okay, okay!" he said. "I'll take the stupid mask off!" Clearly, Link had been bugging him. He took off the mask and transformed back into regular Link.

He sighed. "That guy…" he muttered.

"Oh hey, you're back!" Midna exclaimed. "Now, we TRULY depart for Hyrule Castle!"

After randomly passing through Castle Town…

"I am standing in your path!" a guard said. "Have you some kind of business at Hyrule Castle?"

"Oh, for crying out loud," Navi mumbled. "We can't get through a single story without using that line."

"Isn't Ganondorf in Hyrule Castle?" Link asked the guard. "We're kinda here to get rid of him."

"W-what?!" the guard exclaimed in shock. "There's an evil person in Hyrule Castle right now?! I had absolutely no idea! You may pass!"

So they passed. And then they stopped.

"… When did this barrier get here?" Midna wondered.

Nathan flipped through the pages of the guide. "I think it appeared right after we left Hyrule Castle after Zelda saved you. Guess we didn't notice…"

"Maybe that's how Ganondorf got in without us knowing," Saria spoke. "So, what are we supposed to do?"

"Use the Fused Shadows, obviously!" Midna told her. The pieces she had floated around her. They went onto her like magnets. It actually looked pretty ridiculous, considering she was only about two feet tall, and the Fused Shadows almost covered her entire body. After some dramatic rumbling, she smashed into the wall.

"Uh, is that supposed to happen?" Link asked. Midna was sent flying into another wall.

"BARRIER KILL TIME!" Midna screamed, her body transforming into a huge amount of arms, making her look like some kind of crazy monster. She jumped onto the shield around the castle and attacked it, making it shatter like glass. She removed the Fused Shadows afterwards.

"Well that was pretty awesome," Saria stated.

Midna sighed. "Good Din, I thought I was going to get a concussion before I even got to break the barrier. Now, we finally enter the real castle! Are you guys ready for this?"

Saria smiled. "I'm ready for everything! Like some castle is going to scare me, especially after standing right in the face of death multiple times in the last story!"

Link gave a small chuckle. "What about this?" he asked, pulling her into a kiss.

"… And the romance returns," Navi said. "What the crud, Link…"

When the kiss parted, Saria was blushing a little. "Geez, Link…" she spoke, "you're so unpredictable…"

"You aren't ready for everything," he said, grinning.

"That doesn't count."

"Okay, enough of the fluff," Midna said. "We need to go into Hyrule Castle, now. Don't forget that this has to be the last chapter of the adventure."

Instantly, Saria snapped back into reality. "Right!" She marched through the real gate of Hyrule Castle. "Wow, that's one big castle. It's way bigger than the one in our Hyrule…"

"I think it's just fancier," Navi said. "And it's not built into a hill."

"And it happens to be lightly raining to add to the dramatic effect," Nathan spoke. "It's so quiet… Too quiet…"

Of course, following that sentence, a wall blew up in the distance, revealing Master Gareth and his monkeys. A music player that Gareth had somehow installed into his throne was playing Guile's theme.

"Oh, for the love of Nayru!" Saria yelled. "Can't we get through our final chapter in peace?!"

"Absolutely not!" Gareth shouted, pointing his newly-obtained decorative staff at them. "For I, the great Master Gareth, shall save the princess instead and win her love!"

Everything went quiet again.

"… I'm sorry, what was that?" Saria asked.

"I realized that I'm really bad at being evil, so I'll just save the princess and win her love instead," Gareth spoke. "I think then there's a possibility of me becoming king."

"You are a freaking weirdo," Midna said bluntly. "But if you're trying to play the good guy now, how come you blew up the wall?"

Gareth paused. "… It's a habit. Now! We are off, minions!"

"Why do we still have to carry this stupid throne around?!" one of them complained. "Can't we just get some kind of vehicle? I mean, those guys have a helicopter!"

"It makes me look more important! Now march!"

Gareth and his minions marched through the entrance to Hyrule Castle.

Saria turned back to the rest of the team. "All right, I want to get right to the important part," she said. "Where the heck is Ganondorf in this huge castle?"

"Hey, did you know Ganondorf has a secret stash of money hidden in the castle? There's supposed to be a lot," Nathan said.

Saria violently grabbed the collar of his shirt immediately following that phrase. "WHERE IS IT?! TELL ME NOW."

Nate sweat-dropped. "I-It's an optional room that you can get to with a hidden key… It's right over here." He pointed to a part on the map.

"All right, money first, Ganondorf later!" Saria eyed their fairy. "Navi, do you think there's a possibility that we can use the helicopter to get over these stupid walls?"

"I just realized that this girl has taught herself to believe that she's practically invincible," Midna stated. "Otherwise she would be a little more serious about this…"

Navi clapped her hands. A ladder from above dropped down. "Don't ask how it got here so fast," she spoke.

The helicopter had flown over certain parts of the castle in order to get to the area with the hidden room. Saria picked the lock open with Link's old Ordon Sword that he somehow still had, because her sword was much too beautiful to be used for such a thing. To be honest, it's still a mystery to me as to how she even does that with a sword.

The lock clicked and fell to the ground, barely missing Link's foot. "Yes! We're in!" Saria exclaimed. "Incredible riches, here I come!"

"I think these locks are possessed," Link stated. "They seem to fall diagonally, depending on where I'm standing…" Saria grabbed him and rushed into the room.

She stared in awe. "So many treasure chests…"

In the end, she had opened and stolen from EVERY LAST chest in the room. It was a lot of money. What really shocked everybody was when she gave half of it to Link.

"It wouldn't really be fair if I took all of it…" she said, not making eye contact. This caused Midna to giggle evilly; no, more like laugh maniacally. "Shut up, you!"

"Hey, don't I get any?" Nathan whined. "I get the whole situation, but seriously."

"OH CRAP!" Midna suddenly exclaimed. "The ideas! THE IDEAS! They're FADING!"

"What the heck are you going on about?" Saria asked, but then she collapsed in Link's arms. "Oh, they're… ah…" She lost consciousness.

"Why are we back in this situation?" Nathan wondered, sighing. "Honestly…"

"H-hey, Saria!" Link said, shaking her, but that had no effect. "Why does this always happen? What the heck is it going to accomplish?"

"We need to get out of here…" Midna spoke. "FAST! Otherwise, the final chapter of this story will be a piece of crap because they're weren't any good ideas for it and we kept sticking around in places we didn't need to stay at!"

Nathan gasped. "And everything was going so well!" he said. "So, what do we do now?! Get the helicopter to take us to the boss room?"

Navi took out her transceiver to call the helicopter again, which had left earlier. "What?!" she shouted into it. "I've run out of usages for it?!"

"No more cheating for you," the person she was talking to said. "It's the last dungeon."

"But it's the last chapter! And we need to get there as quickly as possible!" But the person had already turned off the transceiver on their side.

"Y'know…" Everybody jumped when they heard a voice. "If you're that bored Link could just put that mask on again-"

"Shut up, Oni!"

The voice was offended. "Hey, that wasn't very nice!"

"I guess we'll have to do this the old fashioned way, then," Saria said dramatically. "Tear through it recklessly."

"When was the last time we tore through a dungeon recklessly, anyway?" Link wondered. "Lakebed Temple?"

"Not reckless enough. I think it was the Goron Mines, because you and Nate were infected with blue moss at the time. That kinda insanified it."

"That was a really long time ago…" Midna stated. She paused. "Wait… I just realized something ridiculous…"

"What?"

"We haven't slept at ALL throughout this entire adventure, and we've only pointed out the fact that it's nighttime once. How do you keep going, seriously?"

"… Gaming logic. Now, let's tear through the dungeon like I said a few seconds ago."

Upon entering the first room, they noticed Gareth and some of the monkeys still in there, trying to figure out how to move on. The entrance room was fairly large, but there weren't any accessible points, for whatever reason.

"Did Ganondorf smash out the stairs or something?" Nathan suggested. "Maybe he did that first, and then decided that he needed a barrier too, just in case the intruder was able to fly or was incredibly acrobatic…"

"Or had one of these," Saria said, taking out a clawshot and shooting it at a chandelier. It attached to it and pulled her up to it, giving her a better view of some balconies that conveniently had clawshot-attaching points on them. She used her other clawshot to bring herself to it. "Simple!"

"Saria, I understand that you're good at figuring things like this out, but…" Navi spoke, "this place is huge, and the chances of us getting lost are really high… I wouldn't normally say this, but I think we might have to use the guide for just navigation purposes."

Nathan reached into his magic pocket that I never said he had and to pull out the strategy guide. However, it wasn't there. "What the heck?! Midna!"

"I didn't take it this time!" she insisted.

After searching his inventory for a few seconds, Nate pulled out a note that he didn't remember being there. "I've taken your guide away. You guys never get a real challenge…"

"Seriously?!" Link shouted in disbelief.

"This must be a test!" Saria yelled from up on the balcony. "Come, my teammates! WE DEPART TO DESTROY THE KING OF EVIL, THE REAL OLD-FASHIONED WAY! But first you guys gotta get up here."

The journey was treacherous. Kind of. Around almost every corner lied strong enemies that even Saria had a hard time killing because of their stupid armor. The puzzles were pretty simple, but the enemies were ridiculously strong. At some points, they were trying to rush through the castle as quickly as possible, and Saria somehow managed to blow up some walls without causing anything to collapse, strangely enough.

One thing that Navi noticed was that the more they advanced through the castle, the louder and more dramatic the music became as it slowly faded from a quiet Hyrule Castle theme to Ganondorf's theme.

For the first time the team was working together for their lives to complete a dungeon. The security for the castle that Ganondorf set up was really strict. After some encounters with familiar characters that had come to help for a little while, Gareth trying to climb through windows because he didn't have a clawshot, and many, many strong enemies that tired the team out like heck, they finally reached the entrance to the last room. Oh yeah, and before that, there was also a pit of doom where the needed to use the spinners to get around a bunch of spikes moving along the wall.

But now, they were finally at the final chamber.

"Well, well, well…" Ganondorf said like the evil villain that he is. "Look who finally decided to show up. Do you know how long I've been waiting?"

"Oh, one second, Ganondorf," Link spoke, not in the slightest bit scared. "Could you direct me to your potion stash, because Saria is kind of feeling out of it and needs something that'll help her feel better." He was carrying her bridal style, and she had a bad wound on her head that was wrapped up in a blood-stained cloth. "If you don't mind."

Ganondorf sighed. "You have got to be kidding me."

"My head hurrrrts…" Saria complained, not actually moving.

"Think about it, Ganondorf," Link said. "Would it really be an actual victory if you had an advantage because the best fighter on the team couldn't fight?"

"I don't have a potion stash!" Ganondorf growled. "It's your own fault you didn't bring anything to help with this situation!"

"Ah, here," Nathan said, taking a bottle out of his pocket that had some sparkling yellow substance in it. "I found it earlier, it's rare chu jelly."

"Wait, I thought you were completely against eating those things," Navi pointed out.

"Well yeah, but she's not." He handed the bottle over and Saria used the little bit of energy she could to eat it. Surprisingly enough, the wound on her head completely healed within seconds, proven when the bandage was removed from her head.

"Much better!" she said, standing up again and tossing the bottle behind her. Nathan dove to catch it and prevent it from breaking. "All right Ganondorf, now we can fight!"

Ganondorf sighed. "This isn't going as dramatically as I'd hoped it would," he stated.

"Hey, it's Zelda!" Navi exclaimed, looking up to a Triforce that was above Ganondorf. How Zelda was just floating up there really didn't make that much sense, but that didn't really matter. "Uh, didn't she disappear?"

"Ha!" Ganondorf laughed. "Her body may have disappeared when she gave up her life force, but I restored it! Now it's an empty shell that I can use to fight you fools!"

"Coward," Saria said. "Why would you even think of doing that unless you were either too scared or too lazy to fight us yourself? I mean, seriously, if you have so much power, why don't you just fight us yourself for crying out loud?"

Ganondorf paused. "Um… because everybody knows that true evil villains make people fight the ones they care about or came to save."

"HA! YOU'RE SCARED!" Saria was really trying to get on his nerves by this point.

"When I say use to fight you, I mean possess and use her abilities to fight you! I'm still fighting you myself, technically! You do not mock me, child! You must have a lot of guts to make fun of me, the King of Evil!"

"Yeah, yeah, that's what they all say." She drew her sword. "So? Time to fight, huh?"

"If you're so confident…" Suddenly, a barrier appeared, separating Saria from the rest of the team. "then you can go ahead and fight on your own!"

She went into an awesome-looking fighting stance. "Bring it on, Ganondorf!"

"… Hey," Midna started. "Are you seriously going to possess Zelda and have her fight Saria? That's kinda cheap. Especially because Saria has a tendency to kill anything that is considered her enemy."

"No, I'm going to go to KFC instead," Ganondorf said. "No, of course I'm going to do that! I'm evil!"

"COME AT ME ALREADY, BRO!" Saria yelled at him at a very high volume. "I'M GETTING DANG IMPATIENT!"

"Fine then, come, my puppet!" Ganondorf sent some magic up to the lifeless body of Zelda, which was clearly painful, somehow. Her skin became a tone of green and her sword appeared out of no where.

"I shall consume EVERYTHING…" the puppet said ominously.

"Hey, that line was already copyrighted by Majora," Oni stated from the mask in Link's pocket. "You aren't allowed to use it."

"Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!" the puppet laughed maniacally. "I won't be easily defeated, for the strategy to do it is completely original and has never been used before in any previous Zelda game!" Flying up into the air inside the barrier where Saria was, it created a ball of magic and shot it at her. But without even thinking, Saria hit it with her sword and sent it back at the puppet. "What?! Impossible!"

"Yep, completely original indeed," Saria spoke sarcastically. "Do you know how many previous bosses have used that tactic?"

And thus the game of tennis between Saria and the floating Zelda puppet began. And Saria won within a single minute, actually, since she was so fast that the puppet couldn't even keep up.

"Dang you, over-athletic midget!" the Zelda puppet shouted, but then getting crushed by Midna's giant hands from the Fused Shadow's power. It didn't actually crush her, though, Midna just forced all the evil magic out of her.

"Wait, what?!" Saria yelled as the barrier blocking her way to the rest of the team dissipated. "I'm not a midget! I'm five foot three!"

"She defeated my puppet that easily?!" Ganondorf exclaimed, pretty angry with what just happened. "You leave me no choice!" In a relatively disturbing scene, he transformed into a giant boar-like beast.

"Wow, that weak point is way too conspicuous…" Midna stated, examining Ganondorf's new form. There was a huge white gash on his stomach, clearly stating that it was his weak point.

Before the team could think about anything besides that, Ganon ran into a random portal that appeared probably from dark magic. Several red portals appeared around them, as if Ganon was going to run out of one of them at any time, which he did. The entire team, being in one spot, all had to jump out of the way when he ran at them.

"So it's like the Phantom Ganondorf battle, right?" Navi suggested. Link and Saria looked her confusingly. "Oh, right, Link killed him instantly with explosives…"

"So we just have to shoot explosives at him, huh?" Saria asked, arming her bow with a bomb arrow. Navi just sighed and watched to see what would happen. The next time Ganon ran out to attack them, she shot the bomb arrow at him, sending him flying onto his side. "Wow, it worked!"

Not questioning anything, the three fighters on the team ran forward to attack at the weak point, dealing a huge amount of damage to the beast. Seriously, it was a ridiculous amount of damage, since they'd never all attacked something at once before.

They actually did this a few times before Ganon realized their tactics. Yeah, it made him seem kind of stupid, but he finally realized that he had to jump every time Saria shot a bomb arrow. They did have a counter for this, though, in which Midna would use her giant hand to toss him on his side, when he finally started to… emit green 'vapor'…

"What kind of defeated boss does that?" Nathan asked, slightly disturbed.

"I'm suddenly revived!" Zelda random exclaimed, apparently alive again. Or maybe she never died in the first place. Regardless of that, it scared everybody.

"Zelda!" Midna said, floating over to her. "How did you come back to life?"

"I don't know, but I'm alive again!" She suddenly gasped at the sight a floating fiery head that slightly resembled Ganondorf's. "It appears that Ganon has not yet been defeated! We must quickly-"

"Okay guys, leave it to me!" It shocked everybody when Midna decided to take the lead. "I'll use the Fused Shadows to defeat him, while you can all get out of here!"

"What?! Midna, you can't do that!" Saria shouted at her. "You can't just leave us out of the final final battle like that! Don't-"

"WARPING TIME!" Midna snapped her fingers, causing the rest of the team and Zelda to all be warped from the room. "I'LL DESTROY YOU!" Midna brought out her Fused Shadows, which 'clanked' to her body, transforming her into the monster again that broke the barrier. "DIE!" She took a giant spear and attacked the floating head.

Then the team, far out in Hyrule Field, saw a giant explosion in the castle.

"Wow," Saria said in awe. "It's a fierce battle already."

Within about a minute, they noticed a figure sitting on a horse in a dramatic pose. They noticed the figure was in fact Ganondorf, holding the top of the Fused Shadow Midna was always wearing on her head.

"How'd he get out here so fast?" was the first thing Link wondered, before he noticed the Fused Shadow shattering in Ganondorf's hands. Then Link noticed. "Oh crap, is Midna okay?!"

"That despicable man!" Nathan suddenly exclaimed, going into a battle stance with his knives that actually looked like they were on fire, awesomely enough. "We destroy him NOW!"

"Wow, you're suddenly motivated," Navi stated.

Nathan stared at her like she was stupid. "It's the final battle. What do you think I should be doing? Not giving a crap?" His sudden change in personality was kind of strange…

"Quick, call your horses!" Zelda told them. Link took out the Horse Call that he still had and called Epona, who had Chase obviously following behind her. "Now, I'm going to sit behind Link on his horse and try to shoot Ganondorf with my light arrows!"

"What am I supposed to do?" Saria asked her.

"Distract him so I can hit him, or kill whatever might get in the way."

Saria shrugged. "Sounds easy enough. Just don't freaking shoot me." Zelda nodded slowly.

And so the third phase of the battle began. Link really didn't do anything except steer Epona while Zelda tried to shoot Ganondorf with light arrows that she made appear by magic. Saria was steering Chase with Nate sitting behind her, the two of them being distracting every once in a while and attacking Ganondorf while he was stunned from an arrow.

When finally, after quite some time, Saria decided to trip Ganondorf's horse using a grass knot. It actually sent him flying off his horse forward.

"EPIC WIN!" she announced, high-fiving Nathan without turning around.

Ganondorf spat some grass out of his mouth. The team of heroes expected him to complain about how cheap they were, but to their surprise, he actually started maniacally laughing. "Why don't you come over here, true hero, and fight me like a man?"

"I'm assuming he's not referring to me," Saria stated.

"Aw yeah, one on one sword fight!" Link exclaimed, jumping off Epona and approaching Ganondorf, completely ignoring everybody around him. Then a barrier appeared, surrounding Link and Ganondorf, blocking out everyone else.

"All right, I'm gonna get over that barrier by-" Saria was cut off by Nathan putting his hand on her shoulder.

"This is Link's fight," he told her. "Hero versus villain, right?"

"You shall be slain by my pretty white sword!" Ganondorf announced, drawing his giant glowing sword from a sheath that I think he had the whole time. "Prepare to be destroyed, hero!"

"Sorry, but I think otherwise," Link said confidently, unsheathing his own sword and wielding his shield. "Or maybe I should just wave my fishing rod around in your face and see what happens?"

"Oh no you di-n't!" Saria said loud enough for them to hear her.

"Wait, he has a fishing rod?" Nathan asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Don't get too cocky, hero!" Ganondorf yelled at Link. "I-"

"OKAY!" Saria suddenly shouted, clapping her hands. "TAKE YOUR BATTLE STANCES! THREE…" Link and Ganondorf stared at her confusingly, but then just did what she said. "TWO, ONE… READY, GOOO!"

The battle was more like a boxing match with swordplay to the death, due to the 'audience' made up of five people. Saria was treating it at such, screaming for Link to do things and making a ton of noise, Navi kept trying to give him information but just decided to shut up after a while, Zelda was constantly gasping, and Nathan was just kind of sitting there, watching the whole thing intently.

"BACK SLICE LINK, BACK SLIIIICE!" Saria screamed at the top of her lungs. Seriously, it was really, REALLY loud. Nathan actually covered his ears.

Turns out, the back slice (which was a move they learned at some point) was the most effective move, allowing Link to roll behind Ganondorf and attack him. Strangely, no matter how many times this happened, Ganondorf never actually did anything.

"GET HIM WHILE HE'S DOWN!" Saria shouted. "I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT! DON'T YOU DARE LOSE TO THAT GUY!"

The next time Ganondorf pulled off a powerful swing, Link blocked the sword with his own and started fighting as hard as he could. He started screaming like he was transforming into Oni, sending Ganondorf backwards from the strength and onto the ground.

He then delivered the final blow.

Everybody was staring as Ganondorf gasped in pain. Link stepped backwards, flipping his hair out of his face like the boss that he's been for the past third of this story.

"H-he… he did it!" Saria exclaimed as the barrier went down.

"I-I will not die!" Ganondorf insisted, standing up again, the sword still stuck in his chest. "For I am the King of Evil…"

Suddenly, a picture of Zant appeared in his head. "Sorry, I'm dead," he told Ganondorf, cracking his neck. And then, for some reason, Ganondorf's Triforce of Power disappeared, and he fell over, dead.

"Well, that made a huge amount of sense…" Navi said sarcastically. "So he stands up, looking like he's not dead, and then he just dies instantly? Hrmmm…"

"Zelda logic, hmm?" They heard a voice off in a distance, coming from a familiar voice. Up on a hill, there sat a figure.

"Midna?!" Link exclaimed, turning his head to look at her. He started running up the hill, and Saria, being just as surprised, followed him to see.

When they reached the top of the hill, the person didn't actually look anything like Midna, but the voice was definitely the same. She turned around. "Aren't I so beautiful that you have no words left?" she asked.

"Yep, that's Midna all right," Saria confirmed, nodding her head.

Zelda walked up to them. "Now that Ganondorf is defeated, we must return to the mirror chamber where the Mirror of Twilight is held," she spoke.

Midna nodded. "Warping time," she said, grinning. She snapped her fingers and they all warped to the said location.

"So what are we doing here?" Link asked. "Are you… going back to the Twilight Realm now?"

"Mmm… yeah," Midna said. "Guess this is farewell, huh? Light and shadow can't mix, as we all know. But… never forget there's another world bound to this one, kay?"

"So now that Ganondorf is defeated, it's time for things to go back the way they were, huh…" Nathan spoke.

"Shadow and light are two sides of the same coin," Zelda said. "One cannot exist without the other. I know now the reason the goddesses left the Mirror of Twilight in this world… they left it because it was their design that we should meet."

"Yeah, otherwise, we probably would've gotten our butts outta here by this point," Saria stated, crossing her arms. "We probably wouldn't have cared less about what was going on around us."

"Thanks, guys…" Midna told them, turning her back towards them. "Well, the princess spoke truly; as long as that mirror's around, we could meet again…" A tear actually trickled down her cheek. She made it defy gravity and sent it towards the mirror, making it glow on contact with it.

"What are you doing?" Navi asked her.

"See ya later, guys…" The mirror cracked, surprising everyone, except Zelda who basically portrayed no emotion towards it. "Bye…"

Midna ran up to the white platform created by the mirror and allowed the mirror to teleport her into the Twilight Realm before the mirror broke into millions of pieces.

Everybody was silent.

"… See ya, Midna," Link finished.
