Hermiones POV

The train started to take off as I start towards the back of the train.

I look at each compartment looking for the one occupied with Ron and Harry.

As I turn my head to search the compartment someone calls my name.

"Hermione! Come join us! We saved you a seat." I walk to the compartment which contained George, Lee, Neville, and Fred.

"Hello," I say taking the empty seat- It was by the window next to Fred and across from Lee and Neville.

"Hello," they each say back. I glance over at Fred and notice that his body has tensed up.

"Are you okay, Fred?" I ask worriedly.

He hesitates before smiling, "I'm Fine…. Where's Ron and Harry?" He changes the question but I don't mind because I was wondering the samething.

"I haven't seen them," I state.

"They might be with Seamus and Dean," Neville offers.

"Maybe…" I say- Where are they?

Fred pats my head, "They'll be fine `Mione- Don't worry!"

I give him a small smile, "you're right…"

I sit there, quietly, and watch Lee and the twins joke around.

We gather around the Gryffindor table and watch the last of the 1st years be called.

Where are you? They should've been here by now! I hope they are ok!

"I'm going to go see if Harry and Ron are in the common room," I say getting up and walking outside the great hall.

"Hermione?" I turn around- Ron and Harry were standing in front of me covered in what seemed to be dirt.

"Don't Hermione me! Where have you been!? I have been worried sick about you!" I yell at them.

"Calm d-down Hermione we're f-fine," Ron stutters.

I take a deep breath, "Where were you?"

They motioned for me to continue walking and they tell me where they where.

"YOU DID WHAT?!" I scream.

They both take a step away from me, "We had to drive here in my dad's car and we were seen by muggles…"

"YOU COULD'VE BEEN EXPELLED!" We had reached the fat lady and I give her the password.

"But we didn't, so you can skip the lecture," Ron states rudely.

The portrait of the fat lady swings open and we are greeted with clapping and cheering.

Ron and Harry rush inside leaving me there with my mouth wide open.

I step into the common room as Fred and George are congratulating Harry and Ron.

"Bloody brilliant!"

"What an entrance!"

For the first time ever I don't agree with Fred and George.

"I'm a bit tired… I think I'll head to bed…" Harry mumbles before walking through the crowd and up the stairs leading to their dormitory.

Fred and George watch him leave and then turn around and spot me.

They start walking over but I pretend not to see them and walk up the stairs to my room.

I was too mad and upset to talk to anyone.

Ron and Harry had broke a countless number of rules and Fred and George approved it. My brain yells. UGH! How could they be ok with that! They could have been hurt and expelled!

I make my way to the great hall for breakfast. I am still mad. I walk into the great hall and sit between Seamus and Neville-not even looking at Ron, Harry, and the twins.

I have never been this mad at them before… What am I going to do about it…

I finish my breakfast quickly and get up to leave.

"`Mione!" Fred yells after me.

I stop dead in my tracks. "What?!" I snap.

"Y-you f-forgot y-your s-schedule…" He stutters- his voice was full of sadness and some other emotion I could read.

I turn around sharply and hold out my hand.

He starts to give it to before he notices something on the paper. My eyes widen and I grab it from his hands. I start to storm off.

He grabs my arm and makes me face him. "Why have you outlined all of Lockheart's classes in hearts?" He looks me straight in the eyes and he looks hurt- why would this hurt him?

"Let me go," I say sternly.

"No- Not until you answer me."

I glare at him. He holds my gaze, refusing to let me go until I answer him.

I look up at him before pulling my arm out of his grip. I frown at him before leaving the hall.
