Don't you forget now…we have a deal.

I heard him in the shadows, but when I looked behind me towards the tall pine trees, nothing was there.

We have a deal. Or ELSE.

"Cat?" Alex asked, turning around and staring at me in confusion as we made our way towards the main tent.

"Yeah Cat, you okay?" Austin continued. "Cuz if you're not feeling well we could totally take you back and tell the Chief to shove his invitation up his-"

"No no no!" I half- yelled, running up to them, ignoring the voice in the shadows. "I'm fine honestly!"

I wrapped my arms around the twins and walked towards the chanting and smoke of the Indians.

"Here we are." Austin announced.

"After you, Madam." Said Alex as he pulled open the tent's 'door'.

The chants stopped the second I walked into the room. Everyone's eyes seemed to be fixed on me; I blushed, for I was not used to this kind of attention. I looked down at myself: I was still wearing Hook's dress- eventhough my travels had ruined the bottom half of it- and my chocolate brown hair was tied up,with a blue feather in it, probably placed there by the elderly woman.

I looked around the room, trying to find some familiar faces. Alex and Austin walked past me and towards the far end of the tent (probably so that they could get up to some kind of mischief), whilst I noticed two very young lost boys sitting by the front, near the fire.

Opposite me, however, was the one person I had missed the most. Peter.

He stood up, still in a kind of awe, -wearing a giant hat made out of feathers(A/N: in the disney version, when they met the Indians Peter wears a giant hat thing;that's what I'm on about) I might add- smiled and he ran around the fire to pick me up, twirling me around like in those soppy romance movies and hugging me.

"I thought you died." He whispered into my ear, still clutching me tight. "When you didn't come back from meeting Hook, I thought he killed you."

"You can't get rid of me that easily!" I replied.

Realising that all of the Indian tribe was looking at us, Peter dropped me onto the floor and turned to look at the Chief -which somehow I had missed whilst scanning the room- who sat proud and tall in his seat before the fire.

He looked at me with his tired black eyes, a look of concern in his eyes.

"You are better. Correct?"

I nodded and smiled towards the elderly woman who was now seated next to a young Indian girl.

"That is good." He then spoke in Indian and the rituals began once more.

The loud chanting, the dancing, the drum roles, they lasted for hours and soon enough, I had to get away. I excused myself briefly and made my way outside. I walked to the pines where I had heard Hook and waited for him to come out.

"Hey!" Peter said, causing me to whirl around in shock.

"Don't creep up on me like that!" I complained. "You almost gave me a heart attack!"

"I'm sorry!"

"You better be!"

He chuckled and walked up next to me.

"What you looking at?" He asked, looking around to see what had taken my interest.

"Oh nothing," I lied, I couldn't tell him the truth! Where was Hook? How did he do that? "Just taking in the scenery I guess?"

"You're so weird - everyone else is enjoying the ceremony and you're outside staring at flowers." He said, filling the air with his warm laugh.

"That's what you got yourself into I guess…" I smirked, looking back at the wilderness.

"Hey." Peter complained, reaching out for my hand. "Can we talk without you staring at plants? It's really off putting!"

"How so?"

"They're intimidating okay?"

As soon as I heard that, I burst out laughing. How could the amazing Peter Pan feel intimidated by flowers?

"Don't judge. It's natural, when someone is giving most of their attention to vegetation, one does feel very unimportant."

"You're joking, right?" I asked, wiping a tear off my cheek.

"No, not at all."

"I'm not giving all my attention to flowers okay? I've been on a ship for weeks, I just wanted to appreciate them for their beauty."

"Just like Peter wants to appreciate you!" Screamed Alex with Austin howling with laughter by the tent.

"Piss off Alex!" Peter yelled back as they shuffled off, still laughing at their joke, whilst his face slowly turned red. He scratched the back of his head, raising his shoulders in embarrassment. "Umm…sorry about that."

"It's fine honestly." Was it me or were my cheeks beginning to turn warm? It must have been getting warmer.

"Wanna walk?" Peter asked, pointing in the opposite direction of the main tent.

We walked for a good 20 minutes before I sat down in exhaustion onto a rock.

"Can we stop now or what?" I moaned.

"Sure." He sat himself down next to me. "Woah, déja-vu or what?"

"Yeah... I guess." The memories of that night made me blush even harder. For Fucks Sake!

"Are you blushing?" Peter noticed. Shit, shit, shit!

"What? Pffff no…" Oh my God! I'm bright red right now! I have literally just become a tomato.

"Yea you are!" Peter teased.

"No I'm not!" I said, standing up a turning my back to him.

"Umm yes!"

"No!"

"Almost definitely!"

"No way in hell!"

"You don't have to pretend. I know I'm utterly fabulous!"

"Don't flatter yourself!"

"Just admit you're blushing!"

"No, screw you!" I yelled, swirling around, making sure my hair hit him across the face. We were now staring at each other, as if in a silent battle, to see who would back down first, to see who was the weaker person.

Peter lost. He closed his eyes and I knew I was victorious. Then it happened. It was both amazing and horrible. Amazing, for I was actually kissing a boy, Peter no less, horrible for I was about to break his heart by breaking something even more valuable: his trust.

I pushed him away, eventhough every inch of me was begging to stay in his embrace.

"I'm sorry."

And then I ran.

Sorry guys, this is going to be a short author's note- I'm midway through a History revision session! :3

I just want to know, which would you prefer: short chapters every other day or long chapters every now and again? Either way it doesn't bother me- after all I do this for you! :)
