HOHOHO minna! I felt the urge to write some more… (You know.. I just couldn't stand mah readers getting curious on what Himuro was about to do there… .) So, I made this special chapter.. Chapter 14.5! yey… Enjoy! :3

Special Chapter

(A/N: This chapter is told through Himuro's POV hahaha so that you could understand what Himuro was doing back at the hospital room XD)

Here I am now, waiting in the hospital's lobby and hoping that she will be alright. It's been an hour since she entered the emergency room and I haven't heard anything from her since. Her injuries looked very serious and I'm pretty sure that Akashi caused it. If only… If only I went to the park earlier… I would have prevented this from happening…

*buzz* *buzz*

I felt something vibrate from my pocket and immediately took it out. It was Nishino-san's phone. Looking at the screen, the caller ID revealed that it was her mother.

Sighing to myself, I just knew I had to answer the call in place of Nishino-san. That might be the reason why she left it with me in the first place. I pressed the answering button and carefully brought the phone near my ear.

"WHERE IN THE WORLD ARE YOU YOUNG LADY!? DON'T YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS?! I HOPE YOU HAVE A GOOD EXPLAINATION ABOUT THIS! ASJDNWNVNSGLP!"

Surprised by how her mother shouted on the device I immediately remove the phone from my ear before my eardrums burst and waited for her mother to calm down a bit.

It took quite a while before her mother piped her voice down. She seemed really furious right now, but I have to be calm and explain everything to her.

"Hello Mrs. Nishino… My name is Himuro Tatsuya…" I started but was then interrupted by yet another set of shouts and yells.

"WHO ARE YOU AND WHY ARE YOU WITH KASUMI?! OOOHHH YOU'RE DEFINITELY GOING TO GET GROUNDED YOUNG LADY! WHAT IS A BOY DOING WITH YOUR PHONE!? ASLIVJAEJVMV-"

"Please calm down Mrs. Nishino. I have something to inform you."

Silence then broke off from the other line, a sign that she's listening, and I continued.

"Your daughter is currently in the emergency room right now." I said as politely and as calmly as I could.

"Please do understand the situation she's in. Her injuries were serious but nothing fatal."

"W-what? What happened to her?!" Her mother inquired with anxiety in her voice. She is clearly worried that's for sure.

"She hasn't told me about that yet… She was already in that state when I saw her…and I'm afraid she won't tell me why."

"O-oh… Wh-what hospital are you in right now?"

"We're in Tachiki clinic…"

"Do you mean the clinic near the park?"

"Yes, that's exactly the one"

"B-but visiting hours has now ended… w-what should I do?" Her mother asked, her voice cracking. Judging from how she stated her question, she's certainly about to cry.

"Don't worry Mrs. Nishino, if you want I'll look after her for you." I suggested, trying my best to make her mother feel better.

"C-could you please? Himuro-kun right? I think I remembered Kasumi talking about you…Ah anyway, your parents! They could be worried about you too!"

"It's okay Mrs. Nishino, I'll call them."

"O-oh I see…Thank you very much Himuro-kun we owe you a lot…"

"It's my pleasure to help…"

"O-okay then, please tell Kasumi that we will visit her first thing tomorrow okay?"

"Of course"

"Bye"

"bye"

And with that, the call ended. I let out a sigh of relief, good thing that turned out okay. Now all I need is to call my parents…

~le time skip~

Five minutes have passed since I called my parents and Nishino-san still hasn't come out of ER yet. I wonder what's taking her so long…

The door of the emergency room suddenly flung open and out came Kasumi, lying down on the stretcher, sleeping. I bolted up from my seat, eyes wide open. Why is she unconscious? Jogging towards the nurse, I asked her what's wrong.

"Excuse me, what happened to her?"

The nurse flashed me a smile and answered my question.

"Its fine, she's alright. She just fainted at the sight of needles that's all. She's going to recover soon but her left arm is severely sprained, it might take weeks before she can use it properly… I just casted her limb just to be safe."

"Thank you very much" I said as I bowed in front of her. Hearing her chuckle lightly, I looked back up.

"You're such a caring boyfriend" she commented. "She's one lucky girl…"

"No…" I said as I shook my head softly. "I'm the lucky one…"

~Yet another time skip~

Right now, I've been sitting in this room for quite a while now, doing things to entertain me like reading the magazines and books on the shelf and listening to music with my phone. Nishino-san was appointed to stay in this room for the whole night until she wakes up. I already texted her mother on what room number we're in.

All this time I've been staying awake to make sure that Nishino-san is safe and I'll be there when she wakes up. It's already 12:30 a.m. but I have no intention of sleeping in for the night. I promised myself that I would protect her… I will do just that.

Starting to get bored, I stopped reading from the book I was holding and closed it, returning it to the shelf. I sat on the chair stationed on the bedside and felt my eyes fall unto that beautiful pale face of hers. I just couldn't resist it. She just looks stunning even when she's asleep. Her even, naturally pale and white skin looks perfect on her. Her long smooth, dark black hair complements her skin tone wonderfully and it frames her face just right. Her eyelashes, they're long and curved the way it should be.

Those blue orbs behind those closed eyelids of hers is as beautiful as the crystal blue waters of the ocean, the more you stare at it, the more you feel it take you deeper into the depths of that blue, making you feel as if you are drowning in utter beauty and splendor. It washes over you like a wave and since I can never read what she's thinking about, I can never go along with the ripples of its water and ride along and surf on the waves that it offers.

Her small figure adds a more unique outlook in her physique. It makes her cuter, huggable, and even more lovable. She's really an outstanding person, personality wise, she's someone with dignity and she stands up for herself, relying on no one but herself.

Such personality, such beauty, such physique… She's just to perfect for me… perhaps too perfect… And little did I know that seeing such a girl everyday made me fall in-love with her… Slowly…

My heart thumped harder as I find myself leaning closer to the sleeping figure. I can't stop myself… My body is… moving on its own accord… My face was gradually getting closer, and closer…. AND CLOSER.

I can't help but lean nearer, I was very much attracted to her and it really felt like it was the right thing to do. But I know I mustn't do it… It's unmanly of me to do such a thing… But my instincts tell me that it's alright.

I mean, how could something so wrong, feel so right all along?

Kissing her won't change a thing… she would still choose Atsushi over me… I know it hurts… it hurts a lot… But there is nothing I could do about it… I have no power over it. It's her feelings not mine. Even if my heart aches Nishino-san… I'll always look after you… Because if it aches, well at least it aches for you…

I stopped midway before my lips touch hers… should I do this? I should stop right? It is not proper… Like I said, it won't change a thing…

I was about to back off when I heard her speak

"What are you doing?" she asked harshly, as if she was annoyed and irritated. I couldn't blame her though… I was doing something out of the ordinary.

"H-huh? Oh N-nishino-san!" I stammered quickly backing away from her. "Y-you're awake?"

She didn't answer my question but instead sat up straight and eyed me suspiciously. As soon as she looked at my eyes, I looked away… Afraid that she might see right through me. Unfortunately, she stared at me for a while like she was thinking of something, in which made me even more nervous.

I spoke up hoping to lessen the intense aura of the room.

"Y-you f-fainted" I stuttered unexpectedly, I'm not usually like this…

"I beg your pardon?" She asked me, again with a tone of irritation.

"You fainted in the emergency room during the operation and were brought here."

"Oh… did I?" she replied flatly as if she wasn't interested…

"Yeah…" He answered back flatly as well, getting the feeling that she was annoyed by my presence.

"How long was I out?" she spoke after a moment of awkward silence.

"Right now the time is… a quarter before 1 so it's been about 6 hours or so…"

"I-I need to go home! I need to explain everything to my mom!" She removed the blanket started to move out of the bed. I stopped her though, knowing that it isn't safe for her to go home this late.

"H-hey, stay calm…It's alright, I already called your family and they told me that they'll visit you early in the morning…" I gently pushed me back on her bed and tucked the blanket over her

"Just rest okay? I'll watch over you…"I said while giving her a tender smile.

"But how about your parents? Aren't they worried about you too?"

"Nah, I already explained this to them as well… They already understood."

"Oh.. okay… Thank you very much, Himuro-kun" She said as she returned a smile to me. I was quite happy to know that I was appreciated.

"I'm really glad to have a friend like you."

A friend… does she really see me as a friend? Brushing the thought aside, I smiled again and responded.

"Of course, I'll always be here no matter what…" I held out my hand and placed it on top of hers reassuringly, letting her know that I won't leave her.

"Just a…friend huh?" I mumbled unconsciously. I really hope she didn't hear that…

"Did you say something?" she asked me.

"No, nothing at all" I lied. I had to… she mustn't know…
