Rin's POV
I sighed as I pushed back on my chair and stretched. I had been writing at my desk since the crack of dawn and it was all about to pay off. I looked at my calendar and smiled. It was Valentine's Day and I decided to organize a little party for everyone. I giggled to myself. This is going to be so much fun~! A knock on my door made me turn around to face it, "Come in~!" Not a moment later Miku opened the door and came in with her hands behind her back,
"Happy Valentine's Day, Rin-chan~!" She chirped holding out a bouquet of flowers tied with a ribbon adorned with a big, red, heart-shaped bow. I beamed a took them,
"Thank you, Miku-chan~! They're beautiful~!" She winked,
"Not as beautiful as the blonde beauty babe in front of me~." I giggled at her flattery. "What's this~?" She asked blinking her round teal eyes when she peered over my shoulder and noticed the desk hidden beneath my bundle of papers.
"Oh, I decided to throw a Valentine's Day party for everyone and was just writing down some ideas for decorations."
"But, Rinny, today's Valentine's Day, don't you think it's a little late to prepare all this stuff?" She asked raising an eyebrow,
"Well, yeah, I know." I said looking down with a sheepish smile.
"Hm?" She asked blinking, her eyebrow still raised then she reached forward for one paper. "What's this?"
"Ah! Ah, that's um, uh!" I flustered with my hands up, I tried to grab it but she was too tall and, with her hand on my face, easily pushed me back into my seat as she read it. I bowed my head in embarrassment then she squealed,
"Kyaaaaa~! That's so cute~!" She stuck her face right into mine with excitement written all over, "When are you going to sing this for him~!" My blush intensified,
"U-uh . . . t-to . . . day?" I answered quietly making her squeal again, this time hugging me as she spun in a circle,
"Aw, this sis too cute Rinny~! Like I'm going to die~!" Her teal eyes were then covered with a serious gleam, "It's about time, you dummy." I giggled feebly and sweatdropped. "Now, we gotta find you something adorable to wear~." She chirped as she opened my white closet,
"M-M-Miku!"
"Ah, ah, ah." She said wagging her long, slender finger, "Who's gotta make her bestie look irresistible for this big step in her life?" I sighed and remained in my desk chair knowing it was utterly useless to go against her.
A few minutes later I was in a lovely dress with a sailor top consisting of blue fabric and red ribbon, and short, slightly puffy sleeves; it was quite adorable I must admit. The dress was white with frills on the bottom and fell to my mid-thigh. There were heart-shaped strawberries scattered on the bottom portion as well. Underneath I wore pink stocking with two, thin, white strips at the top which ended just above my knees as well as white Maryjane flats with a bow. Miku even insisted I wear white hairclips with giant hearts to pin back my bangs as well as a big pink bow on my head with a heart in the center.
I blushed a little at my appearance. "D-don't you think this is a little much?"
"Naw, don't be silly! You look absolutely adorable~!" I growled a little to myself and before I knew it, I was holding the lyrics paper in both my hands to my chest and was being shoved out of my room by the tealette.
"H-hey! W-wait a minute!"
"Go get 'im, tiger!" She cheered as she shoved me a few steps down the hall towards his room.
"M-M-Miku!"
"Just go." She said with a sweet smile, "He'll say he feels the same. I know it. Trust me, ok?" I cowered a little bit before taking a breath and proceeding down the hall. I stopped in front of his door and heard him blasting his music inside. Shaking, I hesitantly raised my hand and knocked on his door. My heart was pounding so hard while I stood there. He didn't seem to hear and was about to I turn to leave when the door opened making me gasp and my eyes widen.
"Oh, hey, Rin. What's up?" He asked and I bit my lip. He wore baggy jeans and a grey sweatshirt and had headphones around his neck.
"L-L-Len?"
"Hm?" He asked raising an eyebrow, "What is it?" I was shaking quite a bit and took a deep breath,
"H-h-h-h-hey,
Hey, could you wait a minute?
I'm sorry, just one little moment of your time?
Hey just one second, hey, for a little while.
I only want to spend some time with you.
So what should we do? What is there to do?
I know! We could play a game together!
Maybe a word game?

Sorry, you must be bored with this already!
Maybe you're hungry?
Do you want something to eat?
I guess, I think I'll just have water to drink.

As soon as I finished the final line, a pair of lips were against mine making me freeze with my eyes wide and face burning red. Finally, he pulled away and smiled at me. I held the paper to my lower lip as I smiled sheepishly, with my head bowed, and gazing into his blue eyes. I remembered why I fell for him: he was so genuine and kind and was always there for me. He was such a good friend and I knew how much he cared about me and now . . . he knows how much I care about him. "And you know how I feel about you, Rin." I gasped happily with my eyes widening and he embraced me and I closed my eyes to enjoy it.
