"Okay, so tell me what had happened."

"Somehow, that crapdog shot down a S.W.A.T. helicopter and made it collide into the bridge. We were all on the highway following the heli. We were about to catch up to them, but the entire bridge collapsed! Most of us crashed before we even saw what was coming!"

Joe Chin was talking to a Hispanic human S.W.A.T. agent that was involved in the Parappa Posse escape the previous night. It was now ten in the morning, and Joe Chin was furious as ever. He banged his fist on his desk when he heard the news from the S.W.A.T. agent.

"Have you any idea where he went after you all crashed?"

"All I know is that they all kept going forward on Highway 15. I couldn't focus on where exactly they were going, since we needed to confirm the safety of the S.W.A.T. agents. No deaths have been reported, but the people in front of the convoy got messed up almost beyond repair. Of course, for Jenkins, the one who flew the helicopter, he got gunned up and clapped quick. If that wasn't enough, the explosion would have finished him off. There was no way he survived. So, what shall we do next?"

"Well, Percy, what do you think? If I want some person or a group of people captured, I wouldn't have the captain of the S.W.A.T. team just staying here and shooting the bull with me, would I? No. If you're part of a large group that can track down anybody in the county, armed with the best weapons around, what would you expect me to have you guys do? Find the crapdog and kill him! Forget about trying to capture him! If anybody defends him, kill them too!"

Percy tried, "But, I thought that you wanted us to capture his posse-"

"FORGET ABOUT THAT! I've messed around for far too long. I had no idea that he would survive or be involved for this long. Now he's making me pull my fur out! Now beat it!" he raged. Percy immediately ran out.

Joe angrily pressed a button on his phone. He pressed the speed dial number for Chief Leaf. After a few seconds, he answered.

"Yeah," Leaf stated.

"Did you get the money yet, Leaf?"

"Of course I did, and this time, we have all of the money in the vault. This time, there are no rebellious customers like Parappa to interfere with our plans. We're moving to the van now, so where should we leave it this time?"

"Take it to the back of the mansion. We'll have to make some transactions today, including something for better weapons for us to use in the takeover Thursday. Then, 'persuade' the post office to submit to our control next, so that we can send letters and stuff to the residents of Parappa Town. Finally, go to City Hall and make some adjustments for the city name along with other things. If the government buildings being taken over won't be enough to lure Parappa, the military base operation will."

. . .

Parappa awoke at the same time as Joe's conversation with Percy. He found himself snuggled up against Sunny in what was Geoffrey Kat's bedroom, peacefully resting in a "spooning" position where his back was against Sunny's torso. He found her hands on his neck and stomach and remembered how she gently drifted him into a deep sleep. He never could figure out how she was so good at that.

"It's a new day, Sunny. Good morning," he murmured. He got up and kissed Sunny before he changed from his night clothes to street clothes, what with an orange jumpsuit being a tad bit suspicious. It was possibly a blessing that Sunny didn't wake up until after he got dressed.

Sunny blinked a little bit and beamed at the sight of her boyfriend. She sat up in her bed as she said, "Good morning, Parappa. So, what are the plans for today?"

"I don't know. But, I'm number one on Parappa Town's Most Wanted list, I'm sure. If we were to do something, then I would have to keep a very low profile. And even then, I'm in danger of being shot. The military takeover is in three days, so that gives us little time to prepare for things. So, there's no time to waste."

Parappa exited his bedroom and went to the living room. He found the rest of the posse in the living room, dressed in their regular clothes. They all crowded around a glass coffee table that had a giant map of the city on it. Parappa came into the room in the middle of Katy's discussion using a large map on the coffee table.

"...for whenever we start the reconnaissance. We'll need to hit Greenblat Lane-Parappa! We've concocted a plan for us to follow the next three days if we want to have even a slight chance of impeding Joe's next plans to take over the military base," Katy said as she noticed Parappa emerge from his bedroom. All eyes turned to him, awaiting his response.

"Uh, what's the plan?"

"Well, in order to stop something like this, we need to do a little recon work and intelligence from sources. One good asset to us is the cops."

"WHAT?!" Parappa exclaimed.

"I know what you are thinking, but think of this: It was all mafia members that took you in and wanted you in jail. The cops were paid to be quiet. With this affiliation, they're bound to know more about Chin's gang and the possible takeover. Then, once we get more info on that, we need to infiltrate the mansion and get schematics on the place, since my dad died while trying to do so. Also, we need to get a hold a physical copy or recording of Chin's plan to invade the military base. With that, we need to inform Sunny's father about all of this. We need to make certain that these soldiers are prepared for any trespassing on their land. This part is crucial, guys. If Chin takes over the military, then we've lost. On the flip side, once we give aid to the military and help defend them, they will likely be willing to help us fight back against them," Katy concluded.

Parappa smiled, knowing that it was a brilliant plan. "Did you just come up with all of that this morning?" he asked.

"Well, I came up with the cops part, PJ came up with the mansion part and Ma-San, of course, concocted the military plan. A lot of stuff went down when you were still asleep, or at least still in the bedroom. Anyway, the best time to start is now. We need to prepare ourselves with pistols, ammo and different clothes. I don't feel that people have suspected us breaking Parappa out yet, but we can't wear our old clothes. And you, Parappa, need to burn your jumpsuit ASAP. We can't have anybody getting suspicious."

When Katy mentioned them getting him out of jail, he immediately thought of Scott's group, the group that SAVED him in the first place. He didn't exactly know if Scott and company actually made it out, but the group had been planning their escape for a long time. He 'believed' that they did.

"I have a suggestion. Remember Scott and his crew, Katy? The guy you ran over when you found me was in his group. They are from North Parappa Town, and I believe they'd be willing to help us out in this endeavor. If we need to split up or something, I'll stop by over there and inform them. That is, of course, if that's okay with everybody..." Parappa suggested.

Everybody nodded in agreement.

After putting the orange jumpsuit inside an orange plasma, the group prepared themselves for the day by arming themselves with pistols, ammo, remote transceivers in their ears, and inconspicuous casual clothes. The group split up to different areas of Parappa Town, asking different police officers about what they were told to do and what not to do, and also tried milking different tidbits of the plan.

Parappa, however, walked to the north side of town to tell Scott's crew. When the pavement started deteriorating with every foot passed, memories rushed to him. He recalled different hijinks he played on his neighbors, running from the cops whenever something bad happened and he witnessed it, and playing basketball with a deflated ball, a cracked backboard and a chain net.

He walked with his jacket covering half of his face. Sure, this was a poor neighborhood, but its inhabitants still could afford basic cable. Everybody that had cable at least had Action News, and Parappa's face must have been seen more often than any reporter's face now that he escaped prison.

He passed a few people that stared at him as he walked by. Some of them vaguely remembered him in his younger years. Others remember seeing him in the news. The few people that didn't recognize him still stared at him, since he had clothes that were too nice-looking and too new for him to be from the ghetto for all of his life. They stared in jealousy.

One, a mouse wearing nothing but a raggedy white shirt, pink bra, blue jeans and torn shoes, tried approaching him with a pugnacious attitude. She stood in front of him, staring at Parappa with face of scorn.

"I was wondering when your little punk-hide would show up. Now you think you can just come around here after you somehow broke out, like you're important? Might as well get on with that chickenhearted mess, runt," she reviled. Parappa never saw her before in her life. He lifted his head up to get a good look at the insulter. After a quick investigation, he knew that this mouse wasn't armed with a firearm, so his caution levels let down.

"Who are you?" Parappa said with a scornful look on his face. The mouse pushed him, sending him back a few inches. Parappa kept his frown, not appreciating the woman's attitude.

"No, who are you? Acting all self-important with you being famous now. And you think I couldn't know who you are? You're Parappa. Sure, you may have become one of the ten most famous people in the city, but you're still a coward. You just had to escape the north side. You're nothing. Nothing, punk!" she finished with another push. Even though Parappa had his fist clenched in annoyance, he could still keep his easygoing nature about him for a little while longer. Since she wasn't pulling any weapons out on him, his first option wasn't violence.

"Ma'am, I don't think that there's any need for violence here. I haven't done anything to you that-" Parappa was interrupted by another push by the unknown mouse, this time falling on his back.

"What are you going to do about it, pimp? DO SOMETHING!" The mouse crouched, still in Parappa's face. Now, Parappa was mad. Nobody had the right to disrespect him, especially not somebody that he didn't remember seeing. But, he still played it smart. All he did while he was down on the black cracked cement was glare at her. Then, he brought his hands over his head, lifting up his legs as well, and kipped up to a standing position. He turned toward the mouse and got into his defensive stance.

"You want me to do something? Then start something!" he taunted, making the "come here" sign with his hand. The mouse made no hesitation to attack, bringing her left fist way back for a haymaker. She telegraphed her move so much, Parappa could have defended against this punch in his sleep. When her fist approached his face, Parappa grabbed it out of the air, turned 360 degrees to use her punch's momentum against her, then roundhouse kicked her in the face. She was knocked back a couple feet, struggling to keep her balance. When Parappa's whole body was turned toward her again, he made a small hop and superman punched her, knocking her out and leaving a bloody nose on her.

Parappa moved along the ghetto as if nothing had happened. He didn't come here to fight strangers. He came to meet up with Scott and his crew. Based on his previous memories, he could detect the street and the building where Scott's abode was. He eventually found an old white wooden house, the foundation slowly deteriorating to nothing and the burgundy wooden door frame splintery. There were two windows in the front side of the building and a brown door. Parappa could see thousands of bullet holes in the windows, the wall, the door, everywhere. Judging by what Scott said about the mafia gunning up his house, it gave extra assurance to him that this was Scott's crib.

He walked up a small cement staircase and knocked on the door. After a few seconds, somebody finally answered the door. He found Manuel at the doorstep, clutching a .45 ACP pistol in his waistband.

"Oh, Parappa! Welcome, brother!" he said as he released his grip from the pistol and dapped with the rapdog. Parappa was then invited inside the house. He was greeted by the rest of Scott's crew who all chilled out in their living room. The living room had a small black and grey rug at the doorway on beige carpet all around the house. On Parappa's left, he found brown couches surrounding a wooden coffee table supporting a few glasses of gin and juice. In the front of the living room, there was a 24-inch TV exhibiting a news report of Parappa's escape.

"What brings you over to the north side, Parappa?" Scott said as he dapped up Parappa as well. Parappa grinned as he replied, "Ah, I came over here to recruit you, actually. All of you. My crew have formulated a plan to get back at Joe Chin and his mafia and put them away for good."

"Joe Chin? Is that the guy that runs the mafia?" Scott and company laughed, leaving Parappa bewildered. "Wow, in that case, we might just defeat these guys with ease! Do you know his background, Parappa?"

Parappa shook his head.

"Well, it's time to reveal some dark secrets to turn this fanfiction around. Have a seat over there between Brandon and Sergio."

Parappa moved to the couch and plopped on the cushions and listened to Scott's next words.

"Everybody knows who the Chin family is. They're this multimillionaire family that goes around the world selling different appliances, like ovens, refrigerators, washers, dryers, and the like. The Chins are a charismatic family, but in reality, they are a bunch of chumps when it comes to serious situations like these. The old mafia leader mysteriously disappeared this year, and since Joe Chin's the new leader, I have an assumption here. Joe Chin used some of the money his family gained and bribed the mafia to switch leaders. Either that, or he got some of his rich friends to murk the old leader, who was named 'The Dogfather' in his time, and took it over. I haven't met with him personally, but knowing how the Chins act under major pressure, I'd say that all it takes is a slight adjustment in his plan in motion to topple him. What's this plan you concocted?"

Parappa explained the plan to everybody. When he finished, everybody nodded. This seemed like an amazing plan to work with. Then, they found a TV report on Action News that made them sweat.

"We've just gotten word that some of Parappa's accomplices in his escape include a basketball-headed convict, a cat-fox hybrid and an arrowheaded man all working together. Here are sketch artists' drawings of said convicts." The TV depicted poorly drawn portraits of Scott, Brandon, and Manuel in orange jumpsuits.

"Are you serious? This is happening now?" Scott complained.

"Well, if a famous-turned-infamous celebrity is broken out of jail, somebody had to have seen it. And it's the mafia we're talking about. Of course information will be leaked," Parappa retorted.

"No, that's not it, but the portraits are downright abysmal, bruh! Ain't no way I look like that!" Scott replied, comically missing the point. Parappa rolled his eyes.

"We have found one of our police officers injured in the ruckus and gives us an explanation-" BZZZZT! Love together, love together, living on the floor...

Ree Porter took out her ringing cell phone during her live report and answered the call. "Hello? WHAT?! Okay, we'll be there as soon as possible." She then ended the call and told the audience, "Apparently, we have gotten reports of an assault incident occurring in the north side of Parappa Town involving Parappa! We will cut to Manuel Lorraine for the weather for the time being until we make it to North Parappa Town. I'm Ree Porter, Action News in the Afternoon." Porter then scrambled out of her desk and started moving to the Action News van. Then, the camera feed switched from Ree to Manuel, his eyes glued to his laptop. Judging by his dialogue, the audience could guess that he was viewing risque content on his laptop while being streamed to thousands of TV's all over the county.

"Oh, hey, babe. Why don't you, uh, back that thing up for a...yeah, like that. Usually I don't this when I see women, but you, oh ho ho, you're something special..." the weatherman said. The cameraman, disgusted, yelled, "MANNY! YOU'RE ON!"

Lorraine looked at the camera's direction and found the red light being on. He jumped and briskly closed his laptop, shoved it to the side of his desk and began his weather forecast.

Scott turned the TV off and asked, "An assault incident? Oh, NOW they start reporting assault incidents here. It just takes Parappa to bring the news anywhere. Anyway, Parappa, did you happen to come across any confrontation on your way here?"

Remembering the fight he had with the mouse, Parappa answered, "Yeah, there was this one mouse woman who was being really rude. She swung at me, so what was I supposed to do? I knocked that chick the mess out."

The group groaned.

"Yep, it was Mousetina. Leave it to HER to cause trouble. Since you don't live here, allow me to give you the run down. Mousetina, the girl you KO'd earlier, has been trying to cause trouble in the neighborhood for the last six months. She's been trying to start fights with anybody that has the slightest connection to me."

"Why? Does she have a beef with you?" Parappa asked. Everybody laughed and started teasing Scott.

"Tell him, cuh!"

"He needs to know, pimp!"

Scott shifted his eyes. Unbeknownst to Parappa, the story behind Mousetina and him was quite embarrassing. "Yeah, she has a beef with me. The reason is that I used to date her-" The whole crew nearly died laughing, knowing the backstory behind the beef between the two people. Scott waited until the laughing finally died down to continue to explain. "I used to date her earlier this year, but then things got a little screwed up. There was a party at somebody's crib, I took Mousey-Mouse with me, then after turning up for a while, I was just chilling at some corner in the house, and this one chick, a Latino female, started slamming me against the nearby wall and kissed me abruptly. I was still in a relationship with Mousey-Mouse at the time, so it would have been bad for her to see that. I didn't even know this chick, so I tried pushing her off. But this girl was STRONG, Parappa! This girl was THIRSTY! I couldn't have shaken her off in time. Then, Mousey-Mouse saw this event happen, and...yeah. All I'll say is that, EVERYBODY took out their phones and yelled 'WorldStar!' Fast forward to today," Scott finished.

"So, now she thinks that you cheated on her. Great." Parappa heard a van pull up to the scene of the assault against Mousetina. He looked out of one of the bullet-ridden windows to investigate. Sure enough, Action News appeared on the scene to talk to her about what happened.

Scott's crew and Parappa had no idea what they were saying, but none of them suspected anything beneficial to them was being produced. Parappa turned on the TV to find out what was unfolding. The TV showed a bruised, black-eyed and bawling Mousetina being interviewed by Ree Porter.

"So, what exactly had happened?" Ree Porter asked, feeling sympathetic for the "innocent" mouse.

"Well, *sniffle* what had happened was, I saw a person that looked vaguely familiar. After close inspection, *sniffle* I realized that it was Parappa. I USED to be a big fan of Parappa's music, so I wanted to get an autograph. Then, Parappa made misogynistic comments toward me, then just swung his fist back and hit me! I don't know why he would do that. Anyway, I know somebody who may have ties to him escaping prison. His name is Scott, and he has a bunch of people in his gang. They were supposed to be in prison, but somehow they got out. They live on this street, in that white house with a bunch of holes into it."

Parappa, Scott and company widened their eyes. The cameraman turned to the house they took residence in and zoomed in. Anybody that had working eyes could get too good of a glimpse of the front side of their house. Now the entire town knew exactly where they lived. The catch was, not too many people would be willing to go to the north side to investigate it.

"Wow, I never knew that Parappa would stoop so low. First, he murders an honest businessman, now he assaults women! There can't be any more good to come from the now infamous rapper. Let's go to the house to see if we can get some answers," Ree Porter stated. She and the cameraman moved closer to the house, filling its inhabitants with anguish with every step closer to it.

Parappa turned off the TV, disgusted that Mousetina would use her "feminine charm" to win over the hearts and minds of the viewers and news reporters, and asked, "Now, what do we do?"

Scott looked around the room as he quickly thought of an escape plan. Remembering the sketches shown on TV earlier, he asked Manuel and Sergio to hide in the house while the rest of the guys hid in the backyard. Sergio and Manuel hid on the sides of the doorway that led to the kitchen, concealing themselves from the view of anybody coming in through the front door.

They moved to their spots as the door was knocked on. Nobody would want to answer it, so silence followed. Given this time, Sergio and Manuel put on red ski masks to shield their identities from the camera coming in. There was another knock on the door. When there was no answer still, Ree Porter kicked the door down, desperate to get a lead to Parappa. She searched the room for any people inside. Nobody was in, so she walked toward the kitchen. She was unsuspecting of the two awaiting assailants...

"Here we are in the suspected residence of the people who helped break out Parappa from prison. There's no telling what evil may be lurking around these corners..." Ree Porter told her audience. Then, she walked into the kitchen, only to be superman-punched by Manuel on her right. Sergio crouched and pounced on the cameraman behind her, landing on his stomach. The grey Scottish Fold cat sat on the man's chest and briskly struck him in the temple to knock him unconscious. Sergio then reached for the camera that lay near the cameraman's shoulder, grabbed it, and shattered it against the door. There was no stream on TV now.

Manuel dragged their bodies on the couches inside the living room while Sergio gave the all clear to the other guys outside. Then, they grabbed all of their weapons and ammunition and stored it in the van they stole when they escaped prison. Since then, they tinted the vehicle white and concealed any signs of it being from the prison. In five minutes flat, they got everything that they needed and put in in the garage and into the car, from ammo to documents that had anybody's name on it, to video game consoles.

When they finished, they all got into the van, and Scott offered Parappa a ride to one of Scott's friend's place. Parappa refused the ride and wished them luck on their voyage.

"Here, take this! It's a cell phone that can't be tapped, and it already has all of our numbers," Scott replied, tossing him a sleek black smartphone. As they drove off, Parappa radioed in to call Katy.

"Agent Preacher, what's to report?" Katy asked.

"I got us some new 'missionaries' to aid us in our cause, Agent Farmer. They're the guys that helped us with getting the grain out. I'm heading back to the 'dell' right now. What's everybody's status?"

Agent Glutton reported: "I recruited two other missionaries. Agent Florist?"

"Three missionaries. Long John and Mister Strings, any luck?"

"Five missionaries, just finished discussing mission plans with them," Long John reported. The Parappa Posse was gradually gaining more people to aid them for the rebellion against the mafia soon, much to Parappa's pleasure. He walked out of Scott's home, hood on, with a confident grin on his face.

. . .

Parappa eventually made it to the Posse's safehouse and unlocked the door. He entered at the smell of spaghetti and meatballs being cooked by PJ. They had to live off of what Officer Kat had in his cupboards in order to keep a low profile. Surprisingly, PJ was a great cook, it was just that he usually ate the majority of what he cooked when he cooked for other people.

The Posse gathered around the kitchen table and discussed what had happened during the day. When it was Parappa's time to discuss, he held nothing back.

"I slept a chick and witnessed Ree Porter and her cameraman get slept as well."

Everybody was silent and stared at Parappa, signalling that he should explain.

"I was on my way to North Parappa Town, and some mouse chick wanted to start a fight, and wouldn't let me leave. So, after pushing me a bunch of times, I WorldStar'd the mess out of her, knocking her senseless. Somebody witnessed this and called Action News to give a report on the girl I slept. Then, Ree Porter went into Scott's house, looking for me. Luckily, two of Scott's crew knocked them out. Since their location is now a danger zone, they moved to another spot. Oh, and Scott gave me this." Parappa showed them the new phone he acquired from Scott. "It can't be tapped, and it's got their numbers on it."

After viewing for a couple seconds, PJ asked, "So, now where are Scott's crew going?"

"Haven't a clue. All they told me was that Scott knew a guy that would take them in. They got all of their weapons and everything, guys. I think they can handle themselves. All right, next we have to get evidence of the takeover's plan to inform Sunny's father and Moosesha about everything going on. I have a feeling that they're not going to accept our warning without any evidence, so I'll need Katy and Sergio to collect intelligence from inside the mansion during the day. Surprisingly, there are not too many guards inside the mansion during the daytime, as they are mostly doing heaven-knows-what. Katy and Sergio are the best people we have when it comes to stealth missions. Once we get everything, we move to the military base to give evidence of the takeover to convince Moosesha and General Potter. Seems like we have a full day ahead of us tomorrow." Parappa held Sunny's hand as he lifted his soft drink with his other hand. "To our success tomorrow!"

Everybody else lifted their glasses and clinked with the other glasses and echoed, "To our success tomorrow!"
