Random one shot #23 - HunBela / BelaHun (Belarus x Hungary)

Tapping her fingers on the tabletop carelessly, Liz waited for someone to arrive, someone she had been waiting for half an hour to see. You see, Liz was on a blind date, set up for her by a 'friend'. Now, Elizabeta Herdavery was quite a social girl amongst most people, but relationships-wise... Lets just say her last one had ended badly...

"Ugh, sorry that I'm late, my older brother held me up." The brunette looked up to see this stunning blonde woman with piercing blue eyes half smiling down at her as she sat. Heh, looked like Gilbert had done his research.

"No worries, I haven't been waiting long. I'm Elizabeta, but you can call me Liz." Holding her hand out, the other took it gladly.

"Natalya, but most people call me Nat. It's nice to meet you Liz. Gilbert talks about you quite a lot when he comes to visit my brother."

"Oh?" Now she was interested, the Prussian hadn't set her up with someone off a dating website, but with someone he knew. "So you know Gilbert well?"

"A little, but who cares about him? I want to get to know you, I mean, we are on a 'date'." Natalya giggled slightly, Elizabeta noted she didn't really express her emotions that much. Maybe Nat was more expressive the more you got to know her.

"Me? Hmm... I'm not much really... The only thing worth mentioning is that I'm quite proud of my Hungarian ancestry, and I guess I quite like reading the boys love mangas at the local library..." The brunette blushed slightly, oh why did her brain think it necessary to say that?!

"Oh really? You didn't look like the type who's into that kind of stuff. I took you as more an adventure story kind of girl." Browsing the café menu briefly, Nat smiled slightly once more, looking up to meet Liz's green eyes. "And a Hungarian girl? Nice. I'm of Belarusian descent myself."

"Nice."

"Yeah. So... Whats the best thing to eat here?"

"I'd recommend not taking my recommendation."

"If you say so~"
