What's good, guys? It's AquaRock. It's a new year, a new chapter, am I right? I'm the first person to update a Parappa the Rapper fanfiction on this site in 2015, so I'm pretty happy. Anyway, enjoy!

Previously on Parappa: The Infamy...

"Both of you will stealthily investigate the mansion for evidence of a military takeover Thursday."

"Since we outnumber the soldiers by around five thousand, we should be able to take over their base."

"Why did you turn on me?!" Katy asked with aggression in her voice.

"Simple! I would have you do all of the work of collecting evidence, kill you, take the evidence, and take all the credit of exposing Joe Chin and have the town love ME! It's nothing personal!"

Sergio finally got the sneak on her when her back turned once more. He moved to the top of the gablet and aimed at Katy's head. He smiled with malice and greed.

POW!

NOW

Of all the people Katy thought would emerge from the house of the mafia's operations, Mr. Peavis Knight was the last person on that list. Katy almost wanted to hug him, celebrating the fact that he was still alive. However, Peavis looked anything but huggable. His suit was badly torn, bloody wounds in places where one could see his skin. His fur was ruffled, unkempt, matted with blood. Almost completely shattered glasses were over his green eyes. He stared at Sergio's body leaking blood in the pool below. He didn't seem amazed that he just pulled off a dome shot in such a dark time of the day.

After breathing heavily, Peavis said "Ow," and clutched his leg, dropping his weapon. Even with the low amount of sunlight, Katy could see why he grasped himself in pain. He looked as though he had gone through several layers of hell, wherever he was during the days around the jailbreak. It just seemed fitting that Peavis would have a leg injury.

Katy looked behind Peavis and found more mooks chasing them, running through the hallway from where Katy came. She leapt toward Peavis and took his revolver to shoot a few of the gangsters behind them, the bodies piling up in the hallway.

"Come on!" she told Peavis, supporting his right side and helping move the hurt wolf away from the rooftop. Katy then descended to the top catwalk at the back of the mansion and gestured for Peavis to dismount the roof. He was crouching down when another gunshot was heard. Peavis's expression went from pained to utterly defeated as he looked down at his chest, which had a new wound. This wound was from a bullet, and more blood drained from his. Soon, the wolf fell down toward the catwalk, landing next to Katy.

"Mr. Knight!" Katy exclaimed, kneeling down to him. Peavis's green eyes made direct contact with Katy's. After struggling to breathe, he spoke.

"The m-mafia, is...planning to...attack the military base," he said throatily. He took in deep gulps of air as his lungs were quickly filling with blood.

"I know, Mr. Knight, I got the information already," Katy said, panicking. She kept the revolver aimed at the rooftop for any enemies coming their way. Katy felt a tug on her sleeve and turned to Peavis once more. The life was passing out of his eyes quickly, so Katy listened intently.

"They're also gonna...k-kill the muh...muh..."

Loud footsteps from below had muffled what would be Peavis's last word. Two more guards had exited the mansion with their revolvers out. It appeared they were assigned to investigate the situation. Katy shot a glance at Peavis, who was then dead. Cursing under her breath for not hearing the last word in his sentence, Katy waited and studied out the guards. One of them had a leaf for a head, and the other was a walking skeleton. Hollow Bone and Chief Leaf, Katy thought with disgust. Those men in black were checking out the anomaly inside the backyard swimming pool, with the leaf on the left and the skeleton on the right.

"Aw, come on! I just cleaned this thing yesterday!" Chief Leaf complained, his face screwing up a bit seeing all the blood in the pool. "Now after shooting a guy, we had to let him fall in the pool?!"

"i wonder if this was the guy invading the mansion," Hollow Bone e said, looking more closely at the corpse. "Somebody said it was a feline character."

After getting a notion as to what she should do, Katy moved back a little, making soft footsteps on the catwalk. Chief Leaf twitched his head.

"Yo, you hear something?" he asked Hollow Bone. The skeleton shook his head.

Katy jumped from the catwalk railing and threw her nearly-empty revolver at the leaf's head, impacting his occipital region. The revolver bounced off before Chief Leaf became unconscious. Hollow Bone witnessed his ally fall into the water and put himself on high alert. He was about to call for assistance from the mansion when Katy had landed on top of him from the jump. She knocked the back of his head with her hand to knock him out.

She quickly dragged the skeleton inside the pool and ran away from the backyard. She was surprised that more people were not out of the mansion to see what was going on. Maybe they were still trying to find the source of disturbance inside.

Katy approached the squad car, seeing one of the doors open. She slid into the passenger seat and told PJ, "Let's get outta here." PJ complied and sped out of the parking lot.

. . .

"Then he talked about how they were gonna need more advanced weapons for the assault. The S.W.A.T. team is under mafia influence, and they're gonna help the mafia with this attack," Katy explained to the group, still in her tux. Hey, she looked good in it inside the mansion. She sat in front of the group with the recording equipment on the coffee table in front of her. "But more bad news. Sergio betrayed us."

Everyone there made sounds of disbelief, but there was nobody more shocked than Parappa, who was the closest to Sergio. "What?! What happened?" he asked.

"I got the information, I was making my way out of the mansion, and Sergio sent two mafia guys after me. I shot them all, but Sergio was the only one who survived. He cornered me on the mansion's rooftop, trying to kill me. Then out of nowhere, Mr. Knight comes out of the mansion and shoots Sergio, saving my life-"

"Mr. Knight's alive?!" asked Sunny.

"Is he okay?" Parappa inquired.

"Where is he?" PJ requested. Everyone listening was curious to hear about one of their favorite people in law. However, they became concerned when they saw Katy's expression, which seemed to conceal sadness.

"When I tried to get him out of there, he was shot. He tried telling me that the mafia was gonna do their thing at the military base, and that they were gonna kill...someone whose name starts with 'M.' He kept saying 'muh, muh' before more guards showed up. I couldn't hear what he had to say when that happened, and he was dead. So I just had to get out of there before I was shot myself."

The stealthy cat was utterly silent after that, appearing to be in contemplation. Lammy and Ma-San silently empathized with her; they knew how much Peavis Knight had meant to her. She didn't have a crush on him or anything; he was too old for her. However, her admiration was like the admiration one gave to their elders because they seemed inspiring in some way.

"Was anyone able to identify you?" Parappa asked urgently. "You did say that a guard looked you in the eye."

"If he knew who I was, he wouldn't have let me pass," Katy replied. "And I don't think anyone saw me and lived to tell the story." Relieved, Parappa nodded. He stood up and began to pace.

"All right, so the mafia's going to overthrow the military in two days, Mr. Knight is gone, we have no proof that Sergio turned on us, and I doubt Scott's crew is gonna believe Katy, and the maf's got another target, who we don't exactly know when they'll be attacked or who they are. Can this be any worse!?" Parappa lamented, looking at the ceiling

Ma-San commented, "I don't know, is having civilians now hunting you down for bounties any worse?" Katy facepalmed at the mouse's sarcasm.

"I'm NOT in the mood, Ma-San!" the rapdog snapped at her, even more violently than he expected. He was surprised at how his words came out. In his mind, he felt justified at yelling at her, what with the situations he just listed and the fact he was number one in the city's Most Wanted list. And the fact that Ma-San had the nerve to use sarcasm in such a serious time like this was enough to make Parappa tear his fur out.

"Just trying to help, jeez," Ma-San said coolly, although her eyes showed contempt. "That's the last time I try to help you," she whispered to herself, her voice trailing off.

"If you're not going to be serious about this sort of *BLEEP* then why be involved at all?! You're one of the people who can actually DO something!" Parappa had squared up to the mouse with an aggressive posture, his nose scrunching up in annoyance. Ma-San remained sitting down as she glared at the rapdog, challenging him to do something further.

Katy frowned and got up from her seat, putting a supportive, yet assertive hand on Parappa's shoulder. "Both of you guys need to stop fighting!" she yelled at the bickerers. "It's not gonna get us anywhere!"

Part of Parappa knew that Katy spoke the truth, but he was in no mood to be humble enough to apologize to anyone for his behavior. "Screw this crap, I'm going to bed," he declared before storming off from the living room.

"Parappa, wait!" PJ called after him. However, the slamming of a door had terminated all chances of reasoning with him for the time being, leaving the rest of the Parappa Posse to talk amongst themselves of what just happened.

"Good for him, otherwise he would've had more things to

"Good for him, otherwise I would've given him more things to complain about," Ma-San said loudly in her weird language, making sure Parappa would hear her.

"Ma-San, stop," Katy told the mouse again. "Our situation is bad enough as it is. We don't need contention from inside our group."

"Well, he started it."This caused Katy to sigh exasperatedly and give up on convincing her. She changed the subject.

"I'm gonna get out of this suit," Katy said, gesturing to her poorly prepared tuxedo. "Then we got to get this information to the military base somehow." She took off her tie and turned on the radio on the coffee table before leaving to change into her regular clothes. The radio was already tuned to the news station. After some static, Ree Porter's voice was heard.

"'...my fault she got pregnant.' And in other news today, the search for Parappa's head continues. Recent reports show that Parappa possibly has accomplices aiding in his line of crimes. Witnesses in a local mansion tell how somebody had broken in early this morning." Then another person's voice sounded, no doubt being from a mafia member.

"I was just walkin' down a hallway when I see this cat-lookin' character, snoopin' around like she snuck into the place. He or she started shootin' up the place and jumped out. Then we find three bodies inside our swimming pool, with one of them having a bullet in his head! The other two woulda died if we didn't get 'em out in time!" The guy's voice was shaky, wobbly, and convincing enough at least to those unaware of what the mafia would do. Then Ree Porter's voice sounded once more.

"Other reports insinuate that Kat is responsible for the death of Peavis Knight, a local prosecutor/defense attorney." Another mafia member's voice was heard.

"...just shot 'im in cold blood...I've never seen anything like it. It made me think, what kind of person would do such a thing?"

"Eyewitnesses reports and sketch artists conclude that the perpetrator was more than likely Parappa Town's very own Katy Kat, the lead singer and bassist from the local band MilkCan. She was last seen wearing a pretty fine-looking tuxedo at around 6:45 in the morning. If you have any information relevant to the situation or to the perpetrator, call the city tip hotline at 978-2930. I'm Ree Porter, Action News in the Morning." The station then played some advertisements.

When Katy came out of a room, Ma-San looked at her and remarked, "So, nobody was able to identify you, eh?"

"It must have been Sergio. If you remember, he came with two other guards trying to kill Katy," Sunny pointed out.

VRRRRR! Love together, love together, living on the floor...Parappa's ringtone sounded across the hallway. It appeared he snuck out of his room to listen to the news report. He went back into the hallway, out of the others' vision, and answered his phone.

"Hello?" the rapdog said.

"WHAT'S the meaning of this?!" Scott raged over the phone. "First we help you get outta jail, and now you get one of your crew killing SERGIO?!"

Parappa frowned before he tried to explain, "Sergio was the one that turned on us! Why would he try to kill Katy?! She was doing everything she should have been, and Sergio decided to turn a gun on her!"

"And now you're trying to pin this murder on Sergio?! We found his head in a box with Katy's handwriting saying that we'd be next!"

"How do you know it's her writing?! And she didn't even kill him! Peavis did before he got killed!" Parappa was getting angrier as the conversation went on. He then had to add fake accusations from "allies," or so he thought, to his list of problems.

Scott breathed heavily on the other end. "After what we did for you, and you treat us with this. You better watch your freakin' back, Parappa! 'Cause we surely won't!" The call ended on that low note. Then Scott called back.

"What do you want this time?!" Parappa yelled over the phone.

"Oh, and that phone isn't untraceable!" was all Scott said before ending the second call.

Parappa wanted to smash his phone. He was aware of the expectant stares he would get once he would emerge from the hallway again, so he went straight out to inform the crew.

"Now Scott's trying to kill us!" he griped. "We need to get this solved now. Katy, you and Sunny get the information to General Potter."

Surprised to see a bit more of a composed Parappa, Katy and Sunny nodded and gathered the evidence on the coffee table. But that left the girls with an important inquiry.

"How are we supposed to get IN the base?" Katy asked.

"After all that has happened in this fanfiction, I'm sure you can figure something out. Plus, there's a reason why I had you go with Sunny," Parappa replied, almost in an encouraging way. "The rest of us'll need to stay here in case Scott finds us. He just told me that the phone wasn't untraceable."

"But why would he lie?" PJ asked. Parappa shrugged.

"All I know is, we'll definitely need our weapons in case they'll be after us. These guys may be from the ghetto, but they know how to mess stuff up for somebody."

"So, what's with the sudden change in attitude, dogboy? You realize that you need us after all, and that you can't do this by yourself?" Ma-San smirked. Parappa gave her a serious look, but didn't answer.

"After that, we need to get information as to who they're gonna kill next. Something tells me this target's gonna be one of their most important."
