The orange glow from the street light was too far to reach the bedroom hidden behind a long drive way and a terrace of trees. Crickets sang into a damp summer night late enough that it was too early for anyone to be awake.
Inside the home the cool air blew from the vents and into the master bedroom draped in black and complimented by mahogany furniture.
In the darkness she traced the outlines of his tattoos while she listened to the background lullaby of his breathing.
Dark letters somehow settled nicely in a frame of alabaster skin and her rose pink nail traced the cursive curves of ink as they looped to spell her name.
"Usa?" His voice was thick with sleep and deeper in way that made her chest fill with warmth. Half asleep the question fell flat and sounded more like a statement.
"Sorry baby". She withdrew her hand and turned to look at the ceiling. She closed her eyes and waited for the pull of sleep to come, her mind startling back to alertness shortly after in her excitement for the morning.
She had just opened her mouth to yawn when he flipped on top of her, the full weight of his tall frame turned the yawn into a squeal.
"Babe!"
In another motion he flipped back to his side of the bed and with one muscled arm carried her with him so she lay on top of him.
He hadn't opened his eyes but hugged her close to him, settling his large hands on the small of her back.
"Don't worry. Go to sleep."
The only thing that separated them was the black smooth silk topsheet. He slept naked, and her swollen breasts were covered with the a deep burgundy bra and matching panties.
"I'm not sleepy"
She stared into his chest, this time tracing small circles. "-And I'm not worried...I'm just excited".
He pulled her out her huge bun and let the gold strands spill onto the bed and off the side. Running his hands through her locks to the same rhythm as his wife's finger he whispered into the otherwise empty house, "I know."
She laid her cheek again the side of his upper ribs and his heart pulsed against the skin.
"I'm excited too."
He could the muscles in her face draw into a smile. "What if it's a girl?"
He abandoned all hopes of sleep.
"Then we'll name her after you."
"What if it's a boy?"
He smirked, "Then we'll name him after you."
"Seiya!" She scooted up so she propped herself up on her elbows. He craned his neck forward and opened one eye, just seeing the outline of her body, even curvier now, in the silver wisps of moonlight.
Pink small lips pouted at her lover. "Be serious."
"What about Star?"
"I-", he scooted up so he was sitting against the headboard and the silk slipped downward to his waist, trapped by Usagi's arms.
"I like it." A slow smile spread across her face, "I love it." She rolled across the bed and stretched.
"Good night babe." She grabbed the blanket leaving Seiya exposed and cocooning herself.
There was a quiet filled with only crickets and then the whomp of Seiya's body on the bed.
His braid he wore to bed slapped against her side and she could feel another thickness on her leg.
He buried his face against the crook of her neck and inhaled the jasmine of her shampoo and vanilla of her lotion.
"-But I'm not sleepy babe."
-End-
It's been a year? Already? Uf I'm so sorry for the wait we're back on it.
