Chapter 3: The Dream

Students: Elijah?!
Dipper: All this time, you never told us Elijah is our dormmate?!
Bridget: *sheepishly* Yep, Elijah is your new dormmate. You even think why I put some 'Steampunk-Like' room because I'm going to sleep there, do you?
Students: No?
Bridget: Oh well. *to 9* Come on Elijah, let's go to your room. To tell the truth, your classmates did this room. It's a school tradition. Whenever a new student is enrolled in the school, the previous students will design a room for the new student as a welcoming gift.
9: Really?
Bridget: Really. *to the students* You can come with us if you want to, maybe Elijah will be surprise by the room you made for him.
Kyoko: *sighs* And I even thought Bridget's going to sleep with us…
Dib: Me either.
Upon walking to the corridors of the dorm, 9 stumbles some pictures that he didn't even know. He couldn't even see their names as if someone erased them.
Bridget: *to 9* You ready?
9: *not sure but nods anyway* Yes...
Bridget: Ok *turns the door knob* here's your new room *opens the door*
Bridget opens the door and switched on the light. By the time 9 stepped inside, he couldn't stop himself from hitting his jaw on the floor.
It was a room that looked like the Steampunk era. The large room was painted in dark wooden brown with the color of caramel on the celing that has a touch of sepia designed sky, its solar system chandelier rotates around the room with the mechanical Sun as the light. There were mechanical gears designed in the walls that lead to the Grandfather clock that is in front of the bed.
The elegant looking bed has curtains at the top of the ceiling with the design of a mechanical butterfly, it appears to be large and had to use a small staircase to get in to the bed in from what 9 sees in his height. Beside it was a table with a lamshade that looks like rather a candlebra.
Behind the Grandfather clock was a large bookshelf with tons of books that would almost cover half of the wall. There was also a study table that look like the school's bell for some reason. On it were things that would indicate the subject; a book of Alchemy for Science, a pile of papers for Mathematics, a mechanical globe for History, a digital dictionary for English, and two flags (Japan and Philippines) for Foreign Language.
9 was the one to walk further in his new room. For some reason, he didn't feel happy, but rather be nostalgic. It feels like a breeze of cold wind came to him and the sound of the Grandfather ticking. A Pendulum of Memory as I might say.
Bridget: So, what do you say?
9: I...I...I...
Bridget: *went closer to 9* I guess he's speechless *closes 9's mouth*. We all do this for you. I was the one who designed it.
Tails: I made the chandelier on the ceiling.
Mickey: I got the idea of putting the sun on there too.
Phineas: Lettuce and I made the furniture.
Finn: Me and Kyoko put the furniture in place.
Dipper: I donated some books along with Aliana.
Mordecai: Mirai and I painted the walls.
9: They really did this for me? *snaps out in reality and looks around* Wow…thank you. You know, it..the room...it kinda reminds me of something.
Bridget: So you remembered something, what is it?
9: *picks up the book for alchemy* It reminds me of...my home.
Bridget: You're home...*sighs*. Look Elijah, how about you look around while I talk to your classmates.
9: Why?
Bridget: It's something. You're still new so you don't know the events in school yet. S you stay in your room, ok?
9: Ok...
Then Bridget and the students left 9's room and went to the main room. When they went to the living room, the students were asking something to her.
Mickey: We heard the announcement from Dib that you are going to say something very important to us, what is it?
Bridget: *sighs* I'm going to say this once, and only ONCE. You better listen carefully.
Dipper: But what about Aliana and Elijah?
Tails: And Mirai's not here.
Bridget: Don't worry, I already told Mirai about this before all of you. As for Aliana...I don't want to tell her about this situation that all of us are having right now. Elijah must not know about this also until the time has come.
Mordecai: Got it.
Bridget: Good.
Tails: So what was the thing that you are going to tell to us?
Bridget stared at the ceiling, trying to relax as she is going to tell to them. Knowing that this will be her last before it happened. Everyone were waiting for her response, her suspense were killing them.
She looked at them with a solemn look as she kept her voice in a harsh yet soft voice.
Bridget: I received a Fate Dream from the Goddess.

Fate Dream: Bridget Solano

Bridget: Keep running! She's almost near to us!
From outside of the school to nowhere, Bridger was seen running with a student that is in a blurry form she couldn't describe what it was.
'It was blurry by the time I woke up, but I remember I was running with a student. I don't know what it looks like because the figure was so blurry, and I don't know why he was running with me...'
Then Bridget sensed something from behind, someone was preparing a gun. A bang was heard behind her but she wasn't hit. She turned around and saw the student was hurt, the gun shot in his shoulders. Then another gun is preparing, and this time the gun will really kill someone. With no other choice, Bridget shields the student with her back. 14 shots from the gun hit Bridget. After that, the killer left taking all of the evidence. Leaving the student is screaming for help. The blurry form of the figure is beginning to fade.
'I was so stupid back then. I realized that the student is...'
The blurred form was gone. It is revealed the student in Bridget's dream...was 9.
'Is Elijah Oppenheimer.'
Bridget!

Tails: Oh no...
Phineas: *saddens* So...you're...
Bridget: Yes, Phineas. *lowers her head revealing tears in her eyes* I'm next in the Fate Dream.
Lettuce: *gasps in shock* No...
Kyoko: *grunts in silence* It can't be!
Mordecai: So let me get this straight; Elijah's in your dream, you got shot in the back, you died and Elijah survived...Don't you think that Elijah is-
9: Bridget?
Finn: Shoot!
A door suddenly creaked from 9's room. He came out with an object in his hands. Bridget's goggles.
9: Bridget! *runs to the main room* I think it's yours!
When he finally came in the main room. The students were scampering around like they were looking for something.
Dib: *to Kyoko* Is it in the couch?
Kyoko: *lifting the couch in one hand* I already look for the second time already and it's still not here!
Bridget: *panicking* Oh where could it be?!
9: *showing Bridget's goggles* Is this it?
Bridget: There it is!
9 gave the goggles to Bridget. The students saw it and ran to Bridget.
Bridget: Oh thank goodness you've found it! I'll go crazy when I lost it *gave 9 a scary face* VERY CRAZY!
9: *frozen* Uh...
Bridget: Oh well at least that's over. You can go back now, thanks for finding my goggles.
9: Ok...you're welcome. *goes back to his room*
When 9 finally went to his room, the students and Bridget sighs in relief. They were just pretending because they knew 9 was going out of the room.
Mickey: *sighs in relief* That was close!
Kyoko: One little mistake and were busted from that sackboy!
Then they saw Bridget sat at the couch. Her face wasn't shown. The students went to her.
Bridget: *sighs* You know, it's okay to me if I die. At least no one will have to hunt you ever again.
Dib: Don't say that.
Tails: But the thing is...when? When will you die?
Bridget: I...I don't know, but the dream I remembered is at before dawn.
Kyoko: *looks at the clock, thinking* So it's on 4 am right?
Bridget: I think so...
Silence came again to the students and Bridget. Before 9 came here in the school, several deaths have happened between them. The pictures on the walls gave them a reminder of how they died
1. Christina Francisco = Died when a laser hit her at the back. The laser was powerful enough to break her spinal cord.
2. Lauren Martinez = Died when a comet crashed to a Science Fair. A large debris made her ribcage crused, killed her.
3. Leo Solaridad-Luna = Died in a bus crash. Body almost didn't recognized if it wasn't his white hair.
4. Felicity Luna-Solaridad = Having the same terrible fate as her elder brother does. Her incinerated hands were the only one that she could hold her brother.
5. Jasmine Robins = Dies when a comet hit her. Lettuce Midorikawa as affected by the comet that damaged her right eye gruesomely. This replaced it with Jasmine's eye.
6. Crystal Chronos = Died when an illness that killed her when she was a baby. Dib was the only one who is with her until her death. However, her family suspected him that he performed Euthanasia.
7. Angelo Niarb = Died in a gas leak explosion. His figure was still recognized despite being so near at the explosion range.
8. Eleanor Niarb = Same fate as her older brother was. Almost wasn't recognized.
Dipper: You know...There must be an explanation on how they died. It could be someone that we could or could not see.
Bridget: There aren't any.
Mickey: *eyes open wide* What do you mean?
Bridget: I mean, there's no motif why we have we die. We just accept we will die if it's time. Like all of you; Mordecai, Phineas, Mickey, Tails, Lettuce, Dib, Finn, Kyoko, you've seen them right?It wasn't the killing that made us targeted by something or someone, it was from the Goddess who wants us to die. It was already written by Fate.
Kyoko: What?!
Mordecai: That's cruel!
Bridget: It does for you. But for ours, it was like our mission that is almost finished. Because...we were meant to die.
Students: WHAT?!
Dipper: It can't be!
Dib: Why didn't you tell us by the time you are going to die!?
Bridget: I was going to! But I got the feeling that made me scared so I decided to tell this when at the right time.
Lettuce: What kind of feeling?
Bridget: *looks around* That someone is watching us.
Tails: What do you mean?
Bridget: That's enough for now. It's already late. You have to sleep.

Somewhere in the school, specifically the principal's office, a boy who wears a black leather jacket slammed his hands on the principal's table. She didn't flinched from the noise as she listens to the boy's annoying whining.
Boy: WHY?! WHY WON'T YOU LET ME TO GO TO SECTION ANIMA?! I WANNA GO TO SECTION ANIMA!
Principal: Haven't you understand a thing, my dear? You have to pass Ms. Divino's test in order to go there. It's imposible to pass that test.
Boy: *bangs the table* I WANT TO GO! LET ME ENROLL! I WON'T FORGIVE YOU IF YOU DON'T ENROLL ME TO THAT STUPID SECTION!
Principal: I can't believe he's still like that! He's already 15! Oh well, he is my son. Do I have any choice?
The principal went to the drawers and picked up a paper. She gave it to the figure and the figure signed.
Principal: Make sure you won't embarrass me!
Boy: *smiles evily* Oh yes I will, mommy.
Principal: Now go back to sleep, I got work to do. You better be ready for tomorrow, it will be the enrolling of the lifetime. Jet Marcus Zaraphil.

After that the students sleep in their dorm room. Everyone except 9, he was doing his homework before going to bed after from what is happening to him by the time he woke up. He was glad that it was a good start, except the time that he was caught by the principal for his first day.
Though the only thing that he wasn't going to prepare...
is his new Rival.
