Wow! Thank you for the reviews! I really appreciate your compliments! Once again, a little reminder that Annabeth will not be in this crossover simply becasue im bad at writing romance. And because I live in singapore, there is no summer break :( So updates will be as usual.

To hungergamesfangirl100: Oh my gods! You read my mind! You'll see in this chapter!

To regina1999: Did i mention I will get all of them out alive? *MUAHAHAHA**evil laughter*

To seaweedbrainlover1117: The career tributes? Percy revealing himself? Well, this chapter will answer both your questions. Writing a chapter on Thalia or Nico POV? Your request has been noted. I'll write Thalia's POV in the later chapters as the story flows. But please dont expect it to be so soon.

To NoNumbersInMyUsername: I'm sorry I wont put Gods and Titans in this crossover. They are just minor characters here. But making Katniss backstab Percy would be exciting, right? *MUAHAHAHA*

Percy

As Percy stumbled, following Katniss downhill, he could feel the poison from the claws of the hellhound entering into his bloodstream. His right hand had become numb, and he couldn't even feel his chest. Without ambrosia, Percy was sure no mortal medicine could heal the wound. But luckily, they managed to find a pond, just as Percy was starting to fade. He dived headfirst into the water, letting the coolness of his father's element wash over him, revitalising him. Renewed strength coursed through him and he relaxed. The pain ceased.

Then, with a jolt he realised that the wound had healed fully. How was he going to explain this to Katniss?

Katniss told him to get out of the pond. He listened to her, trying to think up an excuse for his healed wound.

The moment Percy got out, Katniss asked in shock, "Your wound, how did it heal so fast?"

"I guess the water has healing properties." He answered.

Katniss had a look of doubt on her face. It was clear she didn't believe him. But he was spared from answering further questions as a loud boom echoed all around the forest. It was cannon, signalling a dead tribute. So Percy supposed that the other hellhound had managed to make food out of at least one of the career tributes.

"I'm going to walk around and hunt for some food. Peeta can stay here and catch some fish." Katniss announced.

"There's no fish in this pond." Percy said, a little too quickly. When he had dived into the pond, he didn't sense any sign of fishy life in there.

"How would you know?" Katniss asked.

"I- uh. When I was in the pond, I didn't see any fish." Percy said.

"Well, then you two can search around for berries and edible stuff. We'll meet back here in ten minutes." Katniss ordered.

They nodded and Katniss left, heading deeper into the forest. Percy and Peeta went another way.

"So what were you saying back then? About you not belonging to District Five?" Peeta started.

"I guess I can't keep this to myself any longer. You will find out eventually." Percy admitted.

"Okay, so go on." Peeta pestered.

"The thing is, I am from the past. I am not from your time. I came to help the District overthrow the Capitol." Percy said. "And I'm not even like you people. I'm a demigod."

Peeta looked confused. "Wait. What's a demigod? What do you mean you are from the past?"

"I am sent to the future by a god, to make amendments and stop all this unfairness. A demigod is the offspring of a god and a mortal." Percy explained.

"God?" Peeta was completely at a loss of what to say.

"Greek god." Percy confirmed. "They are real. I am a son of Poseidon, the god of the sea."

"Poseidon…sea?" Peeta struggled to make a complete sentence.

"Yes. That's why I am healed by water." Percy said patiently. "There weren't any healing properties actually."

"Right. You expect me to believe all this?" Peeta frowned.

"That's up to you. You can choose not to believe me too. But how else can you explain why the water healed me so quickly? How else can you explain why I am experienced with a sword? Demigods go to Camp Half-Blood to train to survive, battling monsters all the time." Percy said.

Peeta thought for a moment. "Why are you telling me this?"

Percy hadn't thought about that question. "Well, so that you will trust me." He said.

"I do. But I don't think Katniss does. If anything, you should tell her about it." Peeta said.

"But I she might freak out. I can't risk it." Percy said. "I'll tell her when the time is ripe."

They walked around, trying to find berries, but there wasn't any. They decided to go back to the meeting point by the lake and wait for Katniss. When they got back, Katniss was already there waiting for them. She had two dead squirrels on the ground beside her. There was also a metallic bow and arrows slung over her shoulder.

"So did you two find anything?" She asked hopefully. "I found the weapons from a dead tribute. We must have missed the cannon."

"Nope. The bushes didn't have a single berry. We checked thoroughly." Percy said.

"Then we have to share the two squirrels and some bread from the cornucopia." She said, tearing pieces of the loaf.

They sat together behind a huge rock by the lake, chewing down pieced of bread and striping pieces of meat off the squirrel.

But they didn't have much time to saviour the food when a wall of fire descended upon them. Balls of fire pelted at them, pushing them back to the pond. The trees caught fire, and some of them we toppling over. Percy jumped to one side just as a flaming stone hit the ground beside him. But Katniss was not so lucky. The rock grazed her calf and rolled to one side. Katniss yelped in pain, her calf was burnt red. Peeta ran to her side, holding her up. However, they didn't have time to look at the wound as many more flaming rocks rained down, trying to scorch them.

Percy looked behind. Katniss and Peeta were struggling to keep up. From afar, Percy saw another rock heading straight for Peeta and Katniss.

Percy remembered what Chiron had told him. Make sure they come out of this alive. Percy looked back at the pond. He knew if they saw his powers, Katniss might not trust him at all. But it was the only way to keep them alive. He had to go for it.

He lifted his hands, and felt the familiar tug in the gut. Water shot out of the pond, forming a watery shield behind Katniss and Peeta. As the rock touched the water, Percy willed the water to hold and solidify, causing the rock to bounce back and drop onto the floor with a thud.

Percy lowered his hands and the water flowed back to the lake. He turned around slowly, waiting for a stream of questions to shoot at him. Katniss had forgotten about her burn and was staring at him like he was an alien. Peeta was shocked too, and was gaping at Percy. They were too stunned to say anything.

Then, Percy heard the soft crunch sound of footsteps on the forest floor. He spun around, Riptide already in sword form in his hand, and saw Thalia and Nico about three meters away from him.

The gamemakers. Percy thought. They must have sent the fiery rocks to regroup the tributes.

Both Nico and Thalia looked surprised to see Percy. But their initial reaction was wiped away within a second, replaced by a snarl. Nico had his Stygian Iron sword in his hand. Thalia had her bow, stringed and ready to fire. Both their weapons were pointed directly at Percy. He remembered what Nico had told him in the Iris Message. They had to pretend to be like other tributes, and act like what tributes would do when they happen to meet in the arena, so that Katniss would not be suspicious of them. They had tried to avoid meeting each other, but the fire must have forced them here. It was probably made by the gamemakers so that they could see more excitement.

But Katniss was already suspicious of Percy after what he did with the water. They couldn't get more suspicious, could they?

"I knew you'd be here with the water." Thalia smirked. But her eyes asked him a question. Are you ready?

Her bow was taught, ready to fire.

Percy raised his sword and gave a small jerk of his head. "Water is essential for life."

Thalia fired. The arrow sailed towards Percy, the pointed silver tip glowing in the evening light. Just as it was about to reach him, Percy sliced his sword thought the air, knocking the arrow to the ground.

Thalia notched another arrow, and Nico raised his sword. Percy glanced behind, wondering if his allies were going to help him. But to his surprise, Katniss had readied her bow and arrows and instead of aiming at Thalia or Nico, she pointed it at him. Katniss's expression was hard to read. Percy didn't know what was going on in her mind. Peeta, on the other hand, had a sword in his hand, but it just dangled loosely at his side.

Trusting that Thalia and Nico would not attack with his back turned, he faced Katniss, lowering his sword.

"Why are you doing this? Didn't we agree to be allies?" he asked calmly.

"We did agree before. But not anymore. What are you? Some mutant from the Capitol tailing us?" She shouted.

"What do you mean? I am not one of those Capitol people." Percy said.

"You sent that fire at us too?" She said angrily. Her bow hand was steady however, her arrow was ready to fly.

"No! I swear I did not send the fire. But I saved you from it, didn't I." Percy replied.

"Maybe you did that all to make us trust you." Katniss said. "Maybe it was all an act!"

"I can't control the fire! That must have been from the Capitol, trying to push all of us together. But I can explain the water if you want. Just give me some time to explain it all to you." Percy said desperately.

"Why should I bother to hear you explain?" Katniss hurled. "I could just shoot you now. Four of us, including the tributes from District seven, against one of you."

Percy managed a quick glance at Thalia and Nico. Both of them still had their weapons ready, but this time, they were unsure at who to target.

Percy had a small debate in his head.

"Then go ahead and shoot me. But you will lose your chance to get out of all this. Just give me five minutes to explain, and then you can decide about how you want to deal with me later." Percy said.

Katniss looked out of control. She took deep breaths to steady herself. "Just five minutes, starting now."

"We want to hear what he has to say for himself too." Thalia said, giving Percy a quick wink when Katniss wasn't looking.

So...secrets out, i guess. But whether Katniss decides to believe and accept Percy, or kill our beloved hero...thats for you to find out in the next chapter. Shall I be as evil as Gaia? and be as mean as Kronos? Please leave a review!
