So, I bet all of you are wondering what happened to Percy all this while. Well, this time, it is back to Percy's POV. Thanks for the reviews and compliments.

To seaweedbrainlover1117: It means that Percy thinks the careers are his friends. But he does have some consciousness. This chapter will explain how Percy thinks.

To Wanderstar: I hope so too.

To ronnie07: I'm still working on Tournament of Power. Hope I can finish it by sunday :)

To The Princess Andromeda: He might. Not saying though.

To LastPower46: Hey! I saw your story! And I saw what you did to Coach Hedge there. You replaced him with Mrs Weasley!

Enjoy!

Percy

His body ached, like he'd been dragged on some bumpy surface for hours. It was nice, lying down and sleeping, thinking about nothing, and worrying about nothing.

Then, a girl shouted at a distance. "He killed one of us! He is a danger to all of us!"

With his eyes closed, Percy managed to distinguish another voice. A male's voice, full of authority.

"Have you forgotten our instructions? Do you know who sent us all these luxurious food to enjoy? We have a deal: Inject him, and make him our ally. In return, the gamemakers will send us anything we ask for."

Percy opened his eyes slowly, blinking as sunlight shone down on him. He looked at his surroundings. He was in a large plain, with a golden, metallic horn in the centre. There was a large forest beyond the horn, and a lake on the other side. In this unknown environment, Percy felt at ease because of the wide lake. He was the son of Poseidon after all. As long as there was a lake, he was safe.

"He's awake!" A small built girl said, coming over to his side.

As she walked to him, Percy could see that the inside of her jacket was lined with sharp knives.

She offered her hand. "Hi Percy! My name is Clove. I'm from district two."

Percy smiled and shook her hand. "I don't remember which district I'm from."

"Oh! You are from district five. And you got hit on your head pretty bad the last time. Do you remember anything? Do you know who and where we are?" Clove asked.

That was when Percy started panicking. Where was he? Who are these people? In fact, everything he tried to recall was blank. It was like reaching dead ends in his memory. There was only one thing he knew. He was Percy Jackson, a demigod son of Poseidon. He remembered little bits and pieces like battle skills and sword fighting. He knew Riptide was his expandable sword, and that he always kept it in his pocket. But everything else…no. It was scary, like an entire section of his life had been taken away.

"I can't remember anything other than myself and a few things I do." Percy said.

The other two boys and two girls, including clove herself, were beside him.

"They are your friends. We looked after you when you blacked out because of your head injury. In the past, we always went everywhere together, and helped each other." Clove said reassuringly.

The other bulky looking boy stepped forward and introduced himself. "I'm Cato from district two, that's Marvel from district one, and the girl there is Sheryl from four."

Percy nodded, trying to remember their names. Had he indeed forgotten everything he'd done with them? His closest friends, as they say.

"What are we doing here?" Percy asked, looking at the plains which stretched far and wide.

"We are just seeking refuge here. Later, we are going to get back revenge for you. The two district seven tributes caused you to lose your memories." Cato said with a frown, looking closely at Percy.

"Who are the district seven tributes?" Percy asked, biting his tongue, trying to keep down his anger which was slowly boiling inside him.

Because of those district seven tributes, he had forgotten everything. All the good times with his friends were wiped out clean off his memories. Friends who are so willing to get revenge for him on his behalf.

"Thalia Grace and Nico di Angelo. We will get them back for you." Cato said in a determined tone.

Percy shook his head. "Thanks for the offer, but I'd prefer if I get them myself. After all, I'm the one whom they did that to. I can't let you get hurt like how they did to me. I want them dead, and I want to do it."

Cato smiled. "Sure. We'll just watch your back while you kill them. I understand how you feel. If I were you, I'd want them dead on my terms too."

"Cato?" Percy called.

The muscular boy turned back to look at him.

"Thanks for everything. Looking after me and all." Percy said sincerely. Even though he lost pretty much all his memories, he knew that having such a loyal friend to stand by him was not easy.

Cato nodded. "What are friends for?"

Percy grinned. Even with his memories removed, he knew deep down, that friends would do things for each other.

The plan was set. Tonight, when it is dark, they would trek through the forest to find the District seven tributes. They would have the advantage since Cato said that he had two pairs of night vision glasses. Cato and Clove would wear the glasses, since they said they were the ones who got it at the start. After some discussion, Clove had convinced Percy to lead the group, as that would give him the opportunity to fight Thalia and Nico first.

Then, Percy blurted out a question that had been bugging him for a while.

"What happened before I lost my memories? What did Grace and Di Angelo do to me that caused all these to happen?"

Cato, Clove, and Marvel glanced at each other, finally fixing their gaze at Percy.

"Well, Grace and Di Angelo had been teaming up with each other from the very start. They always wanted to play you out. But that is not all. They didn't want your blood on their hands. They wanted to make it look like an accident. So when you were sleeping, the two of them set up a trap. So the minute you woke up, they activated the trap, and this thick tree branch crashed on top of you. Obviously, it didn't go as planned. You managed to survive that accident, though at the cost of your memories. Luckily, we found you soon enough, and looked after you, nursing you back to health." Clove said sweetly.

Percy nodded. So this was what happened. Thalia and Nico used to be his friends. But they betrayed him. They took advantage of him from the very start, plotting to kill him. Yet, they didn't succeed, and now Percy ended up in this state, with no memories, and no recollections of his past. That was cruel. Whatever life he had before now, good or bad, he had forgotten.

Cato spoke up, "They are still trying to hunt you down, to finish off the dirty job of killing you. It's better that we leave now and find them first. We need the element of surprise."

He was right, of course. The sky was already darkening. Shadows loomed in the covered areas of the forest. That was the place where they were going to start looking for the District seven tributes, and they had the advantage of night vision, courtesy of Cato and Clove's night glasses. If Percy wanted to catch his enemies off-guard, this was the perfect moment. Thalia and Nico would never have expected him to go looking for them. They would have assumed he was badly injured, and probably on the verge of death somewhere in this arena.

But Percy would prove them wrong.

He would hunt them down, and make them pay with their lives for taking his memories. And he will not stop until both of them are dead. Hades would have two more souls to put in the fields of punishment tonight.

"I'm ready." Percy said. Determination surged through his veins. The slight anger at Thalia and Nico for losing his memories had turned into willpower, filling him with energy. "Let's get them down by tonight."

The careers, as they called themselves, smiled. There was something in common between his friends that Percy hadn't noticed until this moment. Their smiles left a glint in their eyes. Though Percy didn't think much about it, that glint made him recall something in his fuzzy memory. There was a feeling Percy got, that made him uneasy. Somewhere, deep down in his washed off memories, he had seen that familiar glint many times before, and it wasn't exactly a friendly glint. There was something more to it.

But thinking about all those in his already wiped clean recollections made his head pound. So Percy put all those thought away. First, he had to concentrate on taking down Thalia and Nico. And he couldn't afford to get distracted.

Half an hour later, Percy and his friends were plodding in the forest. Percy in front, and Cato and Clove at either sides of him, guiding him though the forest with their night vision glasses.

The sun had long disappeared into the horizon. A bright, silver, full moon had replaced it, giving off streaks of silver rays. The forest canopy filtered out most of the light, occasionally allowing little pockets of light reach the forest ground.

Percy had riptide in pen form, ready to activate it if needed. Cato gripped a thick, heavy looking, metal sword, while Clove had her throwing knives ready in her belt.

Behind them, was Marvel, and Sheryl. Marvel had a jalvin with a sharpened tip to replace his broken spear, which apparently was broken when he accounted Thalia a few days ago. Sheryl had a trident in her hand, as a weapon. She had mentioned that she was from district four, and had trained with a trident all her life.

Percy shrugged. Yes, Poseidon was his father, but Percy had never really used a trident before. It just wasn't his favorite weapon. Riptide had served his purposes really well, and Percy felt safer with a sword.

"Stop." Cato whispered. "They are just ahead. Sleeping, probably."

Percy squinted into the darkness. The shadows around the tree in front was really doing a good job of shielding the group. It was practically pitch black, and if Cato hadn't pointed them out with the help of his glasses, Percy would have missed them.

Now he looked closely, and could make up all four of them. From a far, Cato told Percy all their names, so that Percy could remember who was Thalia and Nico.

Percy took a step closer, uncapping Riptide. All four of them had their eyes closed, and looked like they were sleeping. But a certain power radiating off the darkness warned Percy against going any closer.

He could just kill them now, and settle it. They wouldn't even feel any pain. It would be like going to sleep, and never waking up again.

Percy raised his sword, and willed his feet to take another step forward, planting himself just in front of his betrayers.

But as he took one step forward into the surrounding darkness, all Hades broke loose.

The bad news: Percy hasnt snapped out of it yet. He still loves the careers.

The good news: Whoops, theres no good news :P

*MUAHAHAHA* Please review, guys. I havent got that many reviews the last few updates :( Thanks.
