Chapter 15: The Transformation

Aliana: Would you hurry up running, Mr. Pines?
Dipper: I am, miss! How can she run in a good shape?!
Aliana and Dipper ran to the auditorium where the students chased Jet when 9 blasts him with unknown force. Even though Mordecai told Dipper to stay with Aliana, she was the one who didn't follow his orders. 9's release of power came to her curiosity, it felt powerful that it stopped her heart from beating in one second. She must know this.
When they arrived in the auditorium, it was a huge mess! Debris are scattered on the floor that is almost bigger than the door, the chairs are twisted pretty bad and there is an open hole! She wonders why they have to fight in a messy manner.
They walks towards the big hole for more inspection until they were stopped with a bright green light that they have to cover their eyes. When the lights dimmed, they continued to walk even though they were curious about the light. When they looked outside of the hole, their mouth went to the floor from the shock.
The bright light actually came from 9. The thing they also got jawdropped is that 9 is wearing different clothes, this includes the students who are trapped in the hole. They coudln't believe that 9 becomes a Vigilante like them when it was supposed to be eight only. How did that happen?!
Mirai: *smiles* Elijah...
Lettuce: What's happened to him?
Finn: Did he just turned into a Vigilante like us?! But how?!
Phineas: I thought it was supposed to be eight of us!
Tails: Amazing…
Mordecai: *dissapointed* I can't believe this.
Kyoko: This is insane...
Mickey: *chuckles* Well, would you look at that.
Dipper: Elijah changed clothes. *to Aliana* Ms. Divino, does that mean-
Aliana: Elijah Oppenheimer is the 9th...So that's explained why he had Bridget's necklace. She chose him to have her powers to Elijah. But why? Why would Bridget choose him for a fragile doll with a pure human soul?
9 opens his eyes slowly, he remembered that there was a blinding light and all he saw now is that he was facing Jet that looked like a complete moron. Then he remembered his transformation that he merged to Bridget, which he is surprised when he looked to his hands. He didn't wear his lab coat instead, he wears a dark green coat that is fastened with a brooch that has a shape of an Emerald teardrop with swirls surrounding it while at the bottom there are three petals.
9: Wha… What happened to me?! Is this...what am I supposed to be like in my dream?
Isn't it obvious, Empty Sack? You look like you were a miniature clothes hanger!
9: I'm not a clothes hang-Who…Who said that?
Look who's right in front of you!
He looked at the only person, er, monster in front of him. 9 had to look at the monster in confusion. In fact, the monster was actually Jet. His amnesia struck him again...
Oh thank goodness you've found me, Elijah! You son of a slow sack! It only took 10 minutes to realize it was me!
9: *corrects* You mean 10 seconds.
I don't care!
9: You don't even care of what you did in the school! You destroyed the auditorium, you ran a lot of our schoolmates and you almost killed me because of your temper! AGAIN!
Wow, I didn't even noticed that. I guess I can be fierce.
9: That's not fierce, that's your temper! You did the whole incident again and almost killed me two times! What kind of a student who always got a temper of an angry bull in class?!
Hey! You better watch your mouth right there! Now you're not getting nice to me!
9: You weren't even nice to us! You kept on insulting me for whatever did I ever do anything wrong to you!
Aliana and Dipper saw 9's eyes are slowly turning green for some reason which none of us know any of that.
Jet's eyes are slowly turning crimson from 9's words that are actually true about him. 9 kept on talking and talking with no stop he even seems that he is crying while keeping on rambling on Jet. This made Jet getting angrier, and that's not only because of his temper.
9: That's why no one likes you at all.
THAT'S IT! I'M GOING TO FREAKING KILL YOU! I'LL MAKE SURE YOU WON'T SEE THE LIGHT EVER AGAIN!
9: You won't.
Jet lunged forward to 9 who did the same attack as he did in the classroom but this time more powerful from the last time. Jet is launched upward but recovered quickly from the ground, he ran to 9 again. He look at what he was holding right now, a little staff with a ring on top. There is also a cross a few centimeters near to the ring. There's a glow from the staff he is holding.
How did that happen? He looked to his staff curiously, the three pieces of the staff were glowing green. And all of a sudden the staff shook rapidly and moves all by itself like an umbrella that was flying from a strong wind, the staff was moving by itself for some unknown reason and 9 don't know what the heck he was doing!
When Jet is coming closer to 9, his staff finally stopped and just faced at Jet. The three pieces from the ring glowed and went to the middle of the staff that releases a bright green light that already engulfed Jet. The attack is powerful enough to put 9 falling to his knees.
After that, the light fades and reveals Jet who is not a monster anymore. However, he looks like he was in a riot or a middle of a stampede. 9, the students, Dipper and Aliana were shocked and awestruck. They have never seen 9 can turn a monster into a human again in a single shot. Where did that came from?!
Well, the fight is over now at least.
Lettuce: He did it!
Mickey: And he just finished him in one shot!
Finn: I don't believe my eyes.
Kyoko: I think I agree with your statement right there.
9: I can't believe it. I...I did it. But what about the others? Should I get help?
He looked everywhere to seek help, but he didn't noticed Aliana and Dipper since they were hiding. He decided to go to the others from the hole.
9: Is everyone alright?
Mordecai: We're okay.
Kyoko: Just still stuck in a 15 feet hole.
9: Don't worry, I'll get you out of there...somehow...
Kyoko: *facepalms* My Goddess...
9: If Bridget's staff can turn back Jet, maybe I can use it to free them! If only I know how...
9 looked at his staff, it seems like it's powerful enough to bring Jet back to normal even though he is a complete moron to 9. He stands up as he raises his staff high in the air, this made the students to worry a little. He concentrates as the ring then lights up along with the ground forming the symbol.
Now this made the students worry!
Lettuce: *gasped in shock* Oh no!
Phineas: What is Elijah doing?!
Tails: *scared* I think he's going to shoot the hole!
Mickey: But that would cause the lava to erupt!
Kyoko: *shouting* ARE YOU CRAZY?! YOU'RE GOING TO GET US KILLED!
Finn: *panics* OhmyGoddessohmyGoddessohmyGoddessohmyGoddess...
Dib: ...We're dead...
Mirai: Elijah don't do it!
But it was probably too late for that, the students braced for impact just in case 9 blasts the ground and burning them alive with lava.
No impact came, though. Instead, they felt like they were in an elevator. And once they knew they were back at above the hole, this also includes the hole from the school. The field was like the same one before the battle came.
What a relief that they weren't drowned in lava! Things could get ugly if it did, VERY ugly. 9 falls to the ground exhaustion, which made them go to him in concern. They also went through this, when you use a powerful attack it really did drain your energy.
Mirai: Are you okay Elijah?
9: *nods slowly* Yes...
Finn: Dude, you really hit Jet with one shot! How did you do that?!
9: *looks at the staff* I don't know. It's the staff who did it, not me. It made me a little tired, though...
Mordecai: Don't worry, it's normal. You'll get used to that thing.
9: But there is something I don't understand
Kyoko: That why we're like this and to you too?
Finn: Kyoko!
Kyoko: What?! He already saw us like this, so what's the point of hiding now?
9: What do you mean?
Finn: *sighs* Alright, but you tell him.
Kyoko: *smirks* Everything?
Finn: Everything.
Kyoko: YES! So Elijah, do remember the last time you got captured by that girl and some 8 vigilantes and an alien rescued you?
9: Yeah...*realized* You mean...
Kyoko: Yep, we're the ones who saved your burlap butt.
9: But why didn't you believe me by the first time I told that to you?
Mordecai: It's because we don't want our identity to reveal. It's like a Superhero thing.
Kyoko: For a fiftieth time, Mordecai. We are not Superheroes, we are Vigilantes!
Tails: Uh...Problem, Jet is waking up!
Mordecai: Use the memory eraser!
Tails went to the tree where the memory eraser was laid, he quickly went to Jet before he wakes up. Tails then sets the dial of the date 09 - 26 - 2012 and points it to Jet. When Jet is about to open his eyes, Tails pressed the button and the memory eraser released a blinding light to Jet. Jet immediately sleeps after the light hit his eye.
Finn: Close call right there.
Tails: All we had to do is just set the dial of the date and there! No one will remember what happened but us... Except you.
9: Will my memories be erased too?
Phineas: With that clothing and that brooch on your cloak? We don't think so, you're a Vigilante now.
9: I'm sorry if I caused all that trouble again.
Mickey: It's okay, Elijah. If it wasn't for you, we'll never be free from that hole.
Dib: Mickey's right. Things are getting pretty ugly if you haven't save us. But...There is something I need to know to you.
9: What is it?
Dib: Your powers, I observed something different from you. All of us have common Elemental, Enhanced and Mental powers, but you...I'm not sure if your powers are Elemental or not.
Mickey: Come to think of it, I've never seen an ability Elijah had.
Lettuce: Maybe we should ask Aliana, she knows everything about powers. She could found out what Elijah's powers is.

They look behind in fear, they knew that voice and that language since their teacher is a Filipino.
Aliana has her arm crossed as she look to 9 fiercely. Dipper was behind her back, he waves in embarrassment knowing that they will ask him why he let Aliana go outside. Her face sticks with an angry expression, she couldn't believe 9 became a Vigilante when it was supposed to be eight members only.
That was supposed to be the prophecy but sometimes Fate can be rewritten...Ugh...
Aliana went to 9 with stomping feet and grabbed his hands dragging him possibly to the office.
Mirai: Ms. Divino, what are you going do to do him?
Aliana: Mr. Hibino, why are you outside when you were supposed to be resting at the hospital?
Mirai: i sensed them for help, so I went outside of the hospital. But I got permission from my brother.
Aliana: What time you were supposed to be back at the hospital?
Mirai: ...Right about now.
Aliana: Well, GO HOME THEN! The rest of you go to the room and heal yourselves, be prepared. *to 9* As for you Elijah, we have a talk with your 'powers' before we will do something later.
They pressed their brooch and badge that immediately turned the clothes disappeared. They all went inside of the school, leaving Aliana and 9 alone outside. When the Sun has set, Aliana dragged 9 inside of the school. Something tells 9 that it has to do with his powers. Too bad he can't turn back to normal until Aliana tell him to do so. But why?
Oh well, the only thing that worries him what she will going to talk about.
It is either he is Innocent or Gulity, 9 is sure he's dead.
