She was lost. How long has she been running? How long has she been in this labyrinth?
Another turn, then turn, then turn...
She has been running for so long that she even could remember neither who she was nor what she's been chasing. All she knew that it had to be something so precious to her, so precious that she couldn't live a day without it. Yet she couldn't remember what it was...
She stumbled, fell to the cold hard ground. Pain shot through her body as rocks cut her skin. Her blood drew on her white dress little violently red roses and dropped on the ground. But she couldn't give up. No matter what it was, she knew she had to take it back, she had to, she simply just had to...
Suddenly she found herself standing in the middle of an oval field. There was nothing else here but her and the withering grass. How did she end up here?
She looked around and realized she was not alone at all. Far away, there was a dark, tall and lean yet fit figure standing with something like what left of a dragon. A boy, she guessed, as she came closer. A scrawny boy, totally a stranger, yet she found something familiar in him...
"... make it back..." - She caught a few word - "...Calypso..."
She froze. Images - or memories - flashed through her brain. All that time... Atlas... Titans... Ogygia... heroes who came and went... She remembered everything. She was Calypso. And he, he had to be...
"Leo!"
But he didn't hear her. As soon as the word was said, the ground underneath her crumbled, and Calypso screamed in fear as she fell down, down, down, to the eternal darkness...
"Calypso!"
She gasps, opens her eyes and meets a pair of concerning eyes staring down at her. His hand is tracing down her body, comforting her, and chasing the ghosts away. He bents down, his lips meet hers softly.
"You okay?"
Calypso closes her eyes and takes a deep breath, letting his warmth wash over her. It was just a nonsense nightmare. Leo is here, Leo is right next to her, Leo is hers. His arms are wrapping around her protectively. There is nothing - no gods, no monsters, - that can keep them apart anymore.
Calypso nods, and smiles as he kisses her again passionately.
"Sleep, my beauty." - He whispers - "I'll always be here for you."
Soooo... how was it? I have just recently finished The House of Hades and practically Caleo made me swoon over! I just have to write something for the two because they are so perfect for each other. I wrote this in, what's like, 20 minutes, so there may be *lots of* mistakes here... *Sorryyyy!*
Uhm, so, review please! Thank you so much for reading!
