Oh. My. Gosh. It's been so long since I last updated this story, I'm sorry to all my readers who have been waiting to get the next chapter of this. Things got really hectic recently. But hopefully I can make it up to all of you guys. So, without further ado, on with the chapter

Chapter 5: Hanakai and Taila's First Commands
Maka, Soul, Hanakai, and Taila all entered the warm café and started looking for a seat till they found a 4 person booth.
"Um…" Taila started, "I…think that…we should sit next to our dates…as in…Hana-san…you sit with Maka…and I…s-sit with Soul…" she ended off with a blush redder than perfectly ripe tomatoes. Hanakai looked at Maka and she looked back at him, the shrugged and said, "Sure, why not?" Then she slid into the booth on the inside so Hanakai could sit on the outside, and Soul did the same with Taila.
After they ordered their food, they nervously stayed silent, making things a little awkward until Soul finally up and said, "You know Taila, we have quite a bit in common you and I, I mean, we are both scythes right?" Taila nodded, "Well…maybe we should see who has the sharpest blade," he then turned his arm into a scythe blade and smirked at Taila. She smiled a little herself her long hair hovered up and turned into her scythe blade, which was slightly longer and a bit more elegantly shaped than Souls.
"Nice looking blade," Soul said with his impish grin, "but looks aren't everything. I wonder," Soul then looked back and forth between Hanakai and Taila then a thought sprung into his head, Hanakai seemed to have the same thought as he then turned to Maka and said, "You seem to be able to handle Soul quite well, but…is it the fact that he's a scythe that makes you easily handle him, or just the fact that he's Soul?" Maka shrugged, "Then how about we have them switch, for 24 hours, you take Taila home with you for a girl's night, and I'll take Soul with me for a guy's night, then after 24 hours, we'll meet back here and check the results."
Maka nodded, "Ok, that seems like fun, don't you think Taila?" Taila nodded with a small smile, "then it's settled." Just then their food came and all went quiet except for the sound of silverware on platter. Then, at the end of their meal, Maka left for her place with Taila, and Hanakai took Soul with him to his place. Both of them ready to show the other one up.
Whew, done, don't know why I went "whew" though, haha. I hope that this will appease some of you readers. I will try harder from now on to update this story more frequently, so thank you for reading and as always, R&R, no flames or dissing, but compliments and constructive criticism is always welcome.
