Thanks guys for being patient... sorry I haven't been writing more often but I have had a lot of school work so yeah... to compensate for this, I have decided to make this a longer chapter. Enjoy!
Melody's POV (Walking through the woods with leaves and tree sap)
I was casually walking back to Blade's den after the trek for getting these supplies, which did take me longer then I hope, I had to go quite deep into the western territory to get these supplies but it was worth it. I continued to walk through the vibrant forest that seemed to glow as the rays of light shone through every opening. I had a lot on my mind lately, meeting a brave wolf like Humphrey and finding out that he was the one who was banished out of my parents pack. I feel so sorry for him, I wish I could do something to cheer him up but that would have to wait because I better get these supplies to him quickly.
I began carefully jogging through the forest making sure I didn't drop something but after jogging a few metres, my ears picked up a faint whimper near a lake not too far from here, and out of my curiosity I decided to go off trail only for a few minutes. I put the supplies in a safe spot and proceeded searching for the whimper and soon enough I walked past a line of bushes, then all of a sudden an out bust of crying began which got my worried for this unknown wolf, I slowly peered my head through the bushes that I pushed aside only to see a she-wolf with her back to me crying a river of tears into the lake that she lied down next to, *Should I go see how she is or should I move on?* I though questioning my action until my kind heart kicked in and diced to comfort her. She was a light tan wolf with a slim figure like mine nut she also had a purple flower next to her ear, I slowly approach her, staying low and creeping towards her until I stupidly stepped on a twig - *snap*.
The she-wolf got up and turned around into a defensive stance and I did the same thing, I could see her eyes that were blood shot from how much she was crying.
"Who are you and what are you doing here!" the she-wolf growled at me walking around me.
"My name's Melody and I came to see if you were alright..." I gently said making the she-wolf stop and walk in front of me.
"Well Melody... my name's Kate, daughter of Winston and Eve. Pack leaders of the western pack" She replied in a proud yet sad tone. I smiled.
"Wow, that's cool. I'm from the north and the daughter of Roger and Moon whom are the pack leaders" I smirked but soon turn into a playful smile.
"Well, nice to meet you... you might be wondering why I'm crying right?" Kate asked in a sad tone dropping her head slightly.
"Yes I am wonder why. Please tell me..." I pleaded, almost begging. She sighed and sat down on her forelegs at which I did the same to show my interest.
"I'm sad because – I lost one of my dearest of friends, he was handsome, had an amazing personality: funny, playful, strong, brave, caring and kind. I loved him to pieces but he passed away after a bear chased him off – off-"Kate whimpered only to burst into tears and crying into my chest while I had her in an embrace, I stroked her back while I held her in my arms. She still was crying after 5 minutes, now completely drenched in her tears, she finally let go and looked into my eyes but she began to sniff around my neck and followed it onto my back.
"ER... Kate what are you doing?" I questioned as she was getting big whiffs of my back, I sat there motionless until she started growling at me.
"Kate why are you growling at me?" I said getting up and backing up until I hit a tree, she was in an attack stance ready to jump.
"Why do I smell my friend on you?!" She growled and then it hit me like a brick wall, she was talking about Humphrey the whole time.
"Wait... are you talking about Humphrey?" I said only to see that Kate's ears perked up when I said the name Humphrey which meant that she was talking about him but it doesn't make sense, she said that Humphrey fell off a cliff after the bear chased him?.
"How do you know Humphrey and why do I smell him all over your – YOU DIDN'T, YOU DIDN'T MATE WITH HIM DID YOU?!" She growled louder, I was in fright. I picked out my word carefully on what to say next.
"NO! I didn't mate with Humphrey and the reason you smell him on my back is because he's hurt – OMG, Humphrey! I forgot about him. Come on let's get back to Humphrey's friends den" I yelled as I began running to get the supplies, Kate followed me not as in chasing me but following.
We ran as fast as we could carefully not dropping any supplies, we both sprinted through the woods, dodging trees and sliding under logs and Kate was keeping up with me very well. After running for a few minutes I slid to a halt, same with Kate not far behind me.
"Ok Kate stay out here, I'll be back in a minute" I whispered, she nodded and I headed in slowly. I crawled my way through until I saw Blade at the back of the den with Humphrey talking? They were eating caribou as well.
"Hey guys!" I yelled behind them, causing only Blade to jump because Humphrey already saw me behind Blade.
"Don't do that Melody, you scared the crap out of me!" Blade hissed but in a playful tone.
"It's good to see you too and hey Humphrey how are you feeling?" I asked walking up to Humphrey and sitting in front of him with Blade at my right side.
"I'm good thanks, I just woke up about 10 minutes ago also legs does still hurt but beside that, Blade said that you would be back any minute with my supplies?" Humphrey asked looking at me, all I could was nodded slowly due to me being dazed by his handsomeness but I soon snapped out of it.
"Oh yeah... I got them, they're outside and also you have a visitor Humphrey" I whispered as I winked at him, he got confused and shrugged as I walked outside collecting his medic supplies for his wound.
"Ok Kate, I want you to take these supplies to him ok?" I asked giving her the supplies, nodded and smile and started to walk in.
Humphrey's POV (Sitting in front of Blade chatting)
"So... who could this visitor be then Humphrey?" Blade asked with a big grin, I looked at him weirdly and was about to reply when my heart stopped, I tilted my head to the side looking over Blade's shoulder to see the one and only Kate.
"I think I know who it is." I said with a sly smile, Blade turned his head saw Kate running towards Humphrey.
"Hey Kate –"was all I said before I had Kate licking me to death, she stopped as she was on top of me smile down at me.
"Humphrey! I thought you were gone, never ever do that to me again!" Kate cried as she cried into my chest because she was now lying down on top of me which felt really warm and comfortable, a bit too comfortable.
"I missed you too" I said kissing her forehead but she obviously wanted more because she grabbed my muzzle and connected it to mine and we fell into a deep passionate kiss, I lied there enjoying every second until Kate had to breath at which point we separated.
"Wow... what a way to see you again, I'm sorry for faking my own death and sorry for leaving you, it's just that I couldn't live with every girl after me so I decided to stay away for a month which turned out to be like 1 ore 2 days" I said only gaining a chuckle from Blade and slap from Kate.
"Ow... Kate, that really hurt and what was that for?" I asked using my left paw to rub it so it didn't hurt as much; she glared at me before answering.
"I can't believe you faked you death, I thought you were DEAD! Never ever do that again and if you do then you won't be able to feel this again" She said with a sly smile stroking my sheath with her soft velvety pads gaining a moan from me. Blade just stared at me with jealousy, I glared at him.
"Oi, bro, don't look at me like that, you will soon have a girl that will do the same to you" I sniggered and gaining a giggle from Kate but something didn't feel right until it hit me...
"Where's Melody?" I asked looking around, Kate got off me and sat down on her forelegs, and I also got up and sat down on the rocky den floor. I searched around the den but saw nothing until I heard a dragging sound and on cue Melody walked in while dragging another caribou in. We stared at her for a while until she looked up at us.
"What... since we have a guest around, might as well?" She defended, I laughed along with everyone else.
"Thanks melody you a great help and speaking of help, Blade bro, patch me up." I asked looking at Melody gaining a blush and then looking at Blade who nodded and pick up the leaves and tree sap that was on a piece of bark.
"Kate, can I talk to you quickly?" Melody asked as both Kate and Melody walked outside together. Me and Blade looked at each other and just shrugged.
Kate's POV (Sitting down outside the den with Melody)
"So... what do you need?" I asked looking around and then at Melody, who looked a bit scared and anxious.
"Well, I don't know how to say it but –"Melody said before getting interrupted by me since I knew what she was going to say "You love Humphrey don't you?" I finished looking at her will a slight amount of annoyance.
"How did you know?" Melody asked anxiously, I looked at her with an 'It's obvious' look.
"So... you love Humphrey as well... erm, well both of us can't love him." I said slightly annoyed still, because I want Humphrey to be mine, as selfish as it sounds.
"I know but he's the perfect wolf for any girl's dreams and not to mention that he saved my life today already..."Melody added, I looked at her for a moment and then it hit me...
"Well... if he loves us both do you think we should... you know share him maybe?"I asked feeling kind of awkward asking her that, even though I met her not that long ago, I trust her quite dearly now.
"What?! Are you crazy, we can't share him and we can't share his love... he will have to choose."Melody said disagreeing to my idea which I would also disagree to if I was asked but it was just an idea.
"Don't you think that's a bit harsh letting him choose like that? And even if he did choose, don't you think it's unfair for other girl to be neglected by him? But at the rate this 'talks going, he's going to have to choose between us" I replied feeling slightly disappointed but none the less, still happy to find that the wolf I love is still alive.
"True but I still think he should choose but when should we tell him about his choice?"Melody asked which got me thinking *Is this right?* I questioned only to get rattled out of my daze as Melody waved her paw in front of my face. I looked around and found that the sun was now falling down past the horizon indicating that the sunset has finished and coming to night.
"How about we tell him after out month of Heat is over." I said winking at her, only to receive a giggle and a deep red blush that showed past her white fur.
"Oh yeah... I forgot I was in heat, wait oh god... this isn't good."Melody whimpered but it sounded all too familiar because that blazing itchiness is coming back, when I though Humphrey was dead, the only relief was using 2 of my digits and rubbing...
"Yep... I'm feeling exactly what you're feeling, but there are 2 of us and only 1 Humphrey unless you want to do it with his friend" I asked getting a big shake from Melody indicating a no...
"Well then looks like we need to drag Humphrey somewhere so that he can relief our HEAT!" I whimpered and almost shouting the last part because the itchiness is becoming more and more unbearable.
"Agreed, so how are we going to do this with 2 of us..."Melody asked with a whining look which did look funny because she was using 1 of her paws to rub her slit which made me go insane, but that's when I couldn't stand it anymore.
"HUMPHREY! WE NEED YOU!" I yelled almost in tears from the itchiness.
Hah! Left on a lemon cliff hanger, well looks like you're gonna have to wait until next time guys, and also the more you guys review the faster I will make the next chapter ;)
