I just had a thought: Disney should tottttttttally make a movie about how queen clarion and lord milori met and everything that came after. Everyone would love that! They would make sooooooo much money off of a movie about them! :)we should start a petition! :)

"Lord Milori!" Dewy's frantic cries made Milori jump up from where he had been sitting on a tree branch.

"Dewy! What is it?"

"A freeze! Tinkerbell's machine got stuck in the ice and created a freeze! Pixie hollow is freezing over! Periwinkle, Spike, and Gliss have already gone to try and save the pixie dust tree! The pixie dust over here has already stopped running!"

"Gather the fairies." Milori's demeanor calmed Dewy who nodded and scurried off to do as he was told.

As soon as Dewy was out of sight, Milori dropped the charade of calmness and rushed over to Avalanche, leaping onto the bird's soft back. "Come on friend!" he gasped, "Let's go save my love."

Soaring through the dark sky, Milori's bird was soon joined by twenty more snowy white owls and countless fairies. "What happened my Lord?" Sled flapped his wings hard to keep up with Avalanche.

Looking over at the young animal fairy, Milori shook his head, "A freeze."

"But... How?"

"I do not know. All I know is that the Warm Seasons are in dire trouble."

Minutes later, the pixie dust tree came into view and many of the Winter fairies took on sharp breaths, none of them had seen such a large tree before. Well... none of them except Milori.

I remember that day well. Milori cringed as the memory came back full force. The heat overwhelming him, the sickening sound of his wet wing tearing, falling out of the sky, kneeling on one of the branches of the pixie dust tree, his breath coming jaggedly. Clarion yelling something frantically, hands lifting him, then darkness.

Shaking his head to clear the memory, he spotted Periwinkle's bluish glow coming towards them.

"Lord Milori!" She exclaimed in relief.

"We have come to help." He spoke in a calm, gentle voice, relieved to see that she was alright.

"You didn't think I'd let'cha do this all on your own?" Dewey winked at the young fairy.

Turning back to Milori, Periwinkle said, "Out first priority should be the tree, but any fairy we can spare should try to frost the other seasons."

Nodding, Milori ordered Sled, "Start out at the freeze line and spread out to Spring and Summer! The rest of you, cover the tree!" Nudging Avalanche, he soared towards the pixie dust tree. Reaching up, his hand brushed the leaves and instantly, most of the branch was frosted. Smiling to himself when he heard some of the fairies suck in breath at this amazing display, he continued around the tree. Few fairies had seen him use his full power before.

It took almost five minutes to frost the whole tree. By that time, the freeze was nearing the tree.

"We've done all we can!" He yelled to his fairies and they all landed on the arching branches of the tree. The warm fairies ran for cover and Milori slowly approached the queen, dread filling his heart.

"Will everything be alright?" She whispered.

"I do not know." His heart caught in his throat when she looked up at him with eyes filled with love. Gulping, he continued, "I have never seen anything like this."

A fierce wind blew through the tree and Clarion shivered. Without a thought, Milori pulled off his owl feather cloak and draped it over her shoulders. For the first time, he bared his back for the world to see.

Staring up at him, Clarion whispered, "Thank you Milori."

"Please take cover." He gulped and turned away from her, something he never thought he would do. He felt her eyes boring into his back as he ordered, "Winter fairies, stand guard!"

Everyone froze as they saw him, for the first time without the feathers hiding his back.

"Uh... Peri," Gliss whispered to her, "I think I figured out why Lord Milori rides an owl."

Periwinkle took no notice of her friend, her eyes followed Lord Milori who faltered and looked around at his fairies with wide eyes. She turned her eyes to the jagged edges of his right wing, then back to the uncertain look on his face. Taking a deep breath, she stepped up next to him and stood straight and proud. One by one, the rest of the fairies followed suite.

Milori smiled slightly, relieved that his fairies had obeyed him and stood ready to face the quickly approaching freeze.

Icy wind blasted the fairies, and many hovered to get some traction against the wind. Peri glanced over at Lord Milori, worried that the wind would blow him away without wings to balance him. She could tell that he was struggling against it, but she dared not help him. She knew that his pride had already been sorely injured from revealing the missing wing, and being offered help would only hurt him more.

Sled noticed as well and nodded at her. Pretending to flutter forward in a fight against the wind, Peri and Sled inched forward, blocking the wind from hitting the Lord of Winter with as much force.
