Chapter 1

Both Tatsumi and I walked into his office, once we were both seated I look over to him. "I have spoke to the others involved and have asked them to keep it quiet." I nod in reply.

"Do you remember what happened before you lost consciousnesses?"

I look down nervously, "What did the others say?" 'I hope I'm not in trouble.'

"That you and Tamaki were left out in the open after Tamaki's plan went wrong. He used his body to shield you and after he got shoot a couple of times it looked like you panicked. A short time after that blue flames suddenly appeared, covering your body. Once that happened you stood up looking down, than the flames exploded but stopped in front of all our operatives. No one on our side was burnt, just the enemy. So you can control the flames?"

"This is the first time it's happened. I don't know how but when Tamaki passed out I panicked and got angry, then the flames appeared."

"Ok. So it sounds like the flames are triggered by your emotions then. Which means your going to have to keep calm and stay out of trouble. You could easily hurt someone if you lose control, you could even kill it's important that no one else finds out about this. Understood?"

"Why?"

"I'm guessing you don't know what the Blue flames suggest then. There is only one demon that possesses the same flames. That demon being Satan. It is best that it doesn't spread that you could be the son of Satan."

I walked into my room and started to do some more research, trying to find my brother. After a few hours of going through files I decide to move to the bed and get some rest. Looking up at the ceiling I started thinking about the promise I made with Yukio. I wish I could remember. If it wasn't for those people testing medicine on me then I wouldn't have lost my memories of Yukio. I would be able to remember what he looked like and if his name was really Yukio.

"Yukio come here a minute, there's someone I want you to meet." Shiro called.

"Rin, its ok nobody is going to hurt you here. You wanted to meet your brother didn't you?"

I look around the room from behind the door, looking for anything that seemed suspicious. Shiro doesn't look like he's trying to trick me, he did save me from that place.

A little boy with black hair runs into the room."Who's he dad?" he looks at Shiro then back at me curiously.

Shiro waved his hand in a gesture for me to come over. I glance over at the boy once more before walking over to were Shiro was standing.

"Rin this is Yukio and Yukio this is Rin, he is your twin brother."

I look over at Yukio again, he looks surprised and confuse. " You never told me I had a brother and if we're twins then why don't we look alike?"

"You and Rin aren't identical twins that's why, but you are twins trust me. You said that you've always wanted a brother haven't you?" Yukio nods. "Well he's standing right in front of you."

Yukio similes at me happily then runs up to hug me, not having been hugged before I didn't know what to do so I just stood there surprised by the show of affection.

Yukio and I started to grow closer, we became best friends and were like brothers that have been together our whole lives, we were basically inseparable. The orphanage for Marked humans that Shiro saved me from felt like it was just one big nightmare.

I was walking down the hallway when I heard Shiro talking to someone. I walk up to the door so I could hear what they were talking about, but in a way so they couldn't see me.

"I know they're still looking for him. Shiro what if they find him? You're putting Yukio in danger."

"I know, but I cant just kick Rin out. I care about him, he's such a sweet little boy, he deserves to be treated like a human not how they were treating him at that orphanage."

"I know, but if they find Yukio with Rin they might take him as well."

I'm putting Yukio in danger? Are they Talking about the people at the orphanage taking Yukio away? I look to the ground in shame. Shiro and Yukio have been so kind to me and all I'm doing is causing trouble for everyone. Maybe I should leave, I don't want Yukio to end up at a place like that. I need to find Yukio.

"Yukio I need to leave." I look sadly at my hands.

"What do you mean you need to leave?" Yukio asks confused.

"I'm sorry, but it's better for everyone if I'm not around anymore, especially you."

"What! Way? You cant go! You cant leave me! Your my brother! I don't want you to go!"

"I will come see you again so don't worry."

"Promise you will no matter what?"

"I promise, I wouldn't leave my little brother all alone now would I."

"Were the same age you know." Yukio said with a pout. He looked at me with a smile but I could see the sadness in his eyes. "You better not break your promise."

"Good bye Yukio, I will see you again I promise." I hugged Yukio tightly then snuck out of the house. After walking into the city I start looking for a place to sleep before it got dark.

I have been living on the streets for a few days now, stealing food and sleeping in the alleyways. I almost be caught by the police a couple times for stealing but luckily I got away. I have been extra careful to keep my tail and ears hidden just like Shiro told me when he saved me, I cant let anyone see them or they will take me back to that place.

It was a cold evening, an hour or so before dark. I duck through an alleyway trying to loss the men chasing me. Hearing them gaining on me I go through another alleyway, seeing houses on the other side I run through an opening in the fence into a backyard. I keep running through backyards until I see an opening that lead under a house. I run through the opening and hid in a dark corner praying that they didn't see me.

20 minutes later I decide that its safe to come out. Brushing the dirt off my pants I make sure my tail is in tucked in my pants and my ears were covered by my hair, they had seen my tail and started chasing me. I walk to the front of the house and see a park across the road, I run over to the park and hid in the bushes next to a path. I look around and find a few food stalls, making my stomach growl. I make sure that the men are no where to be seen before I come out of my hiding place and walk over towards the food stalls.

"Found you."

I shot up in my bed in a cold sweat, "I remember" I whisper to nothing.
