A/N-I DO NOT OWN THE NAKED BROTHERS BAND!
Hey guys!
Okay I know, this chapter was the same as the last one, yes I know I'm aware. But now I fixed it and ugh, I'm so sorry guys I'm so out of it. I've got so much work on me right now but I feel bad because I haven't updated in two weeks, although I've noticed a lot of new followers to my stories so thank you all so much and welcome I hope you read, review and enjoy my stories! I usually update more often but right now I can't because school's ending and I've got a lot of work to finish and stuff like that.
So here's the REAL chapter 25!
Enjoy! (:
Nat's POV
"Nat, Rosalina, wake up…wake up! C'mon! Someone's at the door."
I groaned and slowly opened my eyes. "Alex, what's wrong?"
"Someone's at the door." Alex was still in his pajamas as someone was knocking at the door.
"Rosie, get up." I kissed her head. "C'mon."
She slowly sat up and I got up carefully and walked over to the door. I opened it and saw Jesse standing there. "Hey Jess…" I glanced at my phone. "What are you doing here at 7:46 a.m.?"
"I got a call from Dr. Brennan last night, and I wanted to talk to you."
"Jesse, I don't have to see Dr. Brennan for another couple of weeks," I said rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.
"I know. It's about something else."
"Then, uh…come on in." I stepped aside so Jesse could come inside.
She stepped inside and I shut the door behind her.
"Hey Jesse," Rosalina said, getting up from the couch. "Is everything okay?"
"That's what I wanted to talk to you guys about. Can I talk to you and Nat in the kitchen?" Jesse asked.
"Sure." I took Rosalina's hand and we both walked into the kitchen after Jesse, leaving Alex half asleep on the couch. "What's up, Jess?"
"So Dr. Brennan called last night, and you know I thought like you, like you're not supposed to see him for a couple of weeks but then when I picked up he was asking me about you, and Rosalina, and Alex, and your dad, and then he started going on about how you seemed angry and closed off all the time. He said he was worried about you because he thinks you might have uh…what was the word? Oh yeah, he said he's worried you might have some anger issues. And at first I was like 'You're crazy' because like, you don't have anger issues! But then the more Dr. Brennan was talking about it the more I realized you might, and he started talking about how you could be a danger to people around you or even yourself. So I asked him what I should do and he told me I should talk to you about it and see if you were interested in talking to a therapist."
"A therapist?" I made a mental note to personally go on Jesse's phone and block Dr. Brennan's number. "What are you talking about?"
"You know a person who you talk to about your feelings."
"I know what a therapist is, Jesse. But I don't think I need…" I trailed off as I looked over my shoulder at Rosalina, who didn't look like she shared my feeling. "You can't be serious."
Rosalina shrugged. "I don't know Nat…maybe this is the way you could get your anger out."
"But I…" I looked back at Jesse and sighed. "Can I just think this over first?"
"Sure Nat. Let me know if you're interested, okay? Dr. Brennan gave me different therapists you could try." She walked over to the door. "I'll call you guys later."
"Okay, thanks Jesse." I shut the door behind her when she walked out.
Rosalina spoke up again, "Nat–"
"Wait," I said, not looking at her. "I just need to think, okay? I'm gonna take a shower and then we'll talk, okay?"
She nodded silently and walked into the living room to wake up Alex again.
…
"So what did Jesse want?" I heard Alex ask as I stepped into the hallway.
"Uh…she–"
"She didn't want anything important," I interrupted her, as I walked into the kitchen. "Just checking in on us."
They both looked at me. "Did you have a nice shower?" Rosalina asked, picking up Alex's dirty breakfast bowl.
"Yeah," I said, walking over to the high cabinet where the cereal was.
"Freeze," Rosalina said, walking over to me. She reached up and got the cereal for me. "Here."
"Thanks." I sat down at the table with the cereal.
"Alex, why don't you go change," She told Alex, who immediately caught the hint and walked out of the kitchen. "Nat, you don't have to go to a therapist. Jesse's just trying to help."
"I know she's trying to help. I'm not upset about that. I'm upset because there's Dr. Brennan again, sticking his stupid nose where it doesn't belong."
"At least he cares about you." She sat down next to me. "You could have a doctor who couldn't care at all."
"I'd much rather have one of those," I mumbled.
"And why's that?"
"I don't need a stranger knowing what goes on in my life. I don't need anyone like that. You know, and Jesse knows. That's it."
"Okay."
"Okay? That's it? You're not going to lecture me on how I should be more open with my friends or anything?" He joked.
"I think you've had enough to take in lately."
~NBB~
"That's it! I cannot condone this anymore. Mr. Wolff, either you start paying attention, or you can take a walk to the principal's office."
I glared at my History teacher, not even sorry for writing instead of paying attention.
"Take your pick."
"Well I'm not going to sit here and give you the satisfaction of my attention, that's for sure." I stood up and stormed out of the room and down the hallway towards the Principal Schmoke's office. I knew he wouldn't be happy with me. That was a given. He was rarely ever happy with me. But I was more concerned about how Rosalina would take this. I knew she would be disappointed in me. I promised her that once I got back to school this week I would work on catching up after missing those few days last week. I also sort of promised myself that, but that doesn't count. The minute I walked into the office, one of the secretaries didn't even need to look up to know it was me. She just waved me off, telling me to go on in. I walked into Principal Schmoke's office, but didn't sit down.
"Why don't you take a seat, Mr. Wolff?"
"No offense sir, but I'd prefer not to."
He sighed. "So Nat. Can you tell me why you're here?"
"My History teacher and I don't exactly get along sir."
"And I seem to remember you've already had an incident with the same teacher not even a month ago?"
I had to force myself to not groan. "Yes, sir."
"You know I should suspend you, Nat. I should've suspended you last time."
"So why don't you?"
"Because I think suspending you would be more like rewarding you, rather than punishing you."
I shrugged. "So what do I get? A month of detention every day after school? Extra homework?"
"Don't jump to conclusions so quickly. Now I've been meaning to talk to you for a while."
Oh great. Another adult who wants to stick their nose in my business.
"You never used to cause problems before. Is everything okay at home? Is your brother okay?"
"Everything's fine, Principal Schmoke. Better than ever."
"That doesn't sound too assuring."
"I can promise you that everything is fine. And even if it wasn't, it wouldn't have anything to do with my behavior."
"Then would you like to explain your behavior?"
I shrugged. "I told you sir. I just don't get along with my teacher."
"He's told me that you've been writing in your notebook instead of paying attention."
"Yes sir."
"What could be more important than your studies?"
I remained silent. I wasn't going to tell him.
When he realized I wasn't going to respond he continued, "Well seeing as you and your History teacher have a hard time getting along, and you've been missing quite a few classes, I've figured out another form of punishment."
"What is it?"
"You and Rosalina Tai have also had your differences, correct?"
My heart sped up at the mention of her name. He thinks you hate her, remember? "Yes, sir."
"And so because she's a straight A student, even when she misses school, I've decided that she will be your new tutor for your history class."
This time I let out a groan to let him think I was disappointed. "Isn't there something else–"
"This is my final decision, Mr. Wolff." He seemed completely satisfied with my reaction. "Miss Tai has already been alerted of the situation and even though you both aren't on the best of terms, she's promised to make the best of the situation. I suggest you do the same."
