A/N-I DO NOT OWN THE NAKED BROTHERS BAND!

Hey guys!

Okay, so I think the universe is against me because my power has been out for the last three days (I have it back now obviously). But I PROMISE I will continue to update this story no matter what!

Thank you guys so much for sticking with me! (:

Enjoy!

Nat's POV

"Nat, are you okay? You didn't say a word to Jesse the whole way home."

"That's because I don't really feel like talking to Jesse right now," I told my brother.

"Why not…?" Alex glanced back and forth between me and Rosalina. "What happened?"

"Jesse came to school today and Principal Schmoke found out about…everything," Rosalina told him.

"What? Why?"

We both shrugged. "But I'm never speaking to Jesse again, so I guess we'll never find out," I said, heading straight for my bedroom.

"Hey Nat, wait," Rosalina said, following me.

I kept walking. "Wait for what? For my dad to come pounding on the front door? No thanks."

"I know you're in a bad mood but I think we should talk about this."

"I don't really feel like talking."

"Which is why we should," She said, following me into my room.

I threw my backpack down and fell onto my bed. "What's there to say? The entire school board is going to feel bad for me now, and just know me as the abused kid."

"No they won't," She said, sitting on my bed. "Maybe this is a good thing."

"How?" I asked, turning my head to look at her.

"Maybe your teachers will go easier on you now."

"But I don't really want that. Well…I mean I don't want my dad's abuse to be the reason for that."

"Yeah you're right."

"What if this spreads around school?" I sat up quickly. "If anyone finds out that I've been abused–"

"They won't."

"How do you know?"

"Principal Schmoke isn't stupid. He's not going to announce it to the whole school."

I sighed and fell back onto my bed. "I hope not."

"It'll be fine." She crawled onto my bed, leaned down and kissed my forehead. "Don't worry about it," She said softly. She moved to get off the bed, but I pulled her back down and kissed her.

As the kiss got more heated, I pulled away for a second. "Are you okay with this?"

"What do you mean?" She asked, looking down at me.

"I want to make sure you're comfortable with this."

She nodded. "I'm fine."

"Good." And we continued making out for a little while longer, until we heard:

"Nat! Rosalina! I think you guys should come here!"

She pulled away. "We better go."

"Can we continue this later?" I asked.

"Sure, now c'mon." She got up, helped me up and we both walked into the kitchen where Alex called us.

"What's wrong, Alex?" I asked.

"Cooper just called. He said him and the guys heard a rumor about you at school."

"What did you tell them?"

"I asked them what the rumor was and they said they were going to come over right away."

"Oh God," I groaned, putting my head in my hands. "They know. They have to know. And they're going to treat me differently because of it."

"No they wouldn't," Rosalina told me.

"Well if they don't do that, then they're going to hate me for not telling them myself."

"If they do that then they're not really your friends anyway," Alex said.

"This is bad, God, this is so bad…if they know then everyone must know."

"Nat, just calm down, this could be nothing," Rosalina said as someone knocked on the door.

"I'll get it," I said, moving past Rosalina. I walked over to the front door and opened it. "Hey guys."

"Nat, we need to talk to you," David said.

I was barely able to get out a: "come in" before they all walked in anyway. They sat in the living room, all except for Cooper who paced in front of the TV. I sat on the stools by the counter, and Alex remained on the other side of the counter. Rosalina stood next to me. "So…what's up Cooper?" I asked nervously.

"We think you know, Nat," Qaasim said.

"What rumors have you heard?"

"Before we tell you, we just want to let you know that as your friends, we care about you and we–"

"Stop stalling, Cooper. Tell me what's going on."

"We heard you were drinking," Thomas blurted out.

"Thomas!" All of the guys yelled at him.

"What? He wanted to know!"

"Nat, I think it's important that you know the consequences–"

"You think I don't know the consequences? You think I don't know what happens when you drink too much?" They didn't know anything. They didn't realize how much I really knew.

"Of course you do, but maybe you just haven't thought it through," David said. "We care about you, man. And we'd hate to see anything happen to you."

"Wait…wait, wait. You actually believe these rumors? You're not even going to ask me if they're true?"

"Well…are they?" Qaasim asked.

"No!" I said quickly. They still didn't look like they believed me. "Why would I drink? I have to take care of my brother."

"I mean you have to admit it kind of explains why you've gotten into so much trouble lately," Thomas said.

"I don't drink! I'm not that irresponsible."

The guys all still looked skeptical.

"Ask Rosalina if you don't believe me," I said. "She'd know."

They all looked at her.

"Nat wouldn't ever do that," She said, shaking her head. "And I've never seen him do it either."

"Well he wouldn't do it when someone was around," Thomas said.

"I don't do it at all!" I snapped. "What do I have to do to prove it to you?"

"You shouldn't have to prove it at all," Alex spoke up from behind us at the counter. "They should take your word for it."

"We just don't want Nat to get into any trouble," Cooper explained calmly. "We care about him."

"Well you're worrying over nothing," I said. "I do not drink."

Cooper sighed. "You're right. We should've just believed you before we jumped to conclusions. I'm sorry, Nat."

"Sorry Nat," The rest of the guys mumbled.

"It's fine, guys. Just check with me next time you hear something."

"We will, we promise," Cooper said.

"So how's the songwriting going, Nat?" David asked, as Thomas walked into the kitchen.

"It's okay, I guess…I haven't done much lately, but I've been kind of…busy with school."

"What do you mean?" Qaasim asked.

"I'm trying to pull my grades up, you know. With Principal Schmoke on my back about my History teacher now, I figured I should start working on school in general."

"Good idea," Cooper said nodding.

"But Rosalina helps a lot," I said, putting my arm around her and pulling her close to me. "I would've dropped out of school a long time ago."

"You would not," She said, looking at me. "You would've been fine."

"That's what you think," I said.

The guys laughed.

"Uh…guys?" Thomas called from the kitchen.

We all walked into the kitchen to see Thomas standing with the fridge open. "What is it, Thomas?" I asked.

Cooper was the first to peer inside the open fridge and then look at me. "Nat…"

Rosalina and I looked inside and I literally wanted to kick myself.

The half empty case of beer was still sitting inside the fridge.
