Hours later, nearly the entire city is gathered for a massive feast. The Council sits at the main table with Lei Kung watching the silent Daniel Rand eating alone. Davos, likewise alone, exchanges stares with both of them. Not far away, Fat Cobra roars with laughter as two concubines sit on his lap while he drinks. As Green Mist passes them, he shouts "Ah, the famous Green Mist of Death. Come and join us." He barely turns to him as he continues on his path, "Perhaps you should focus more on the tournament and less on your drink," then approaches Crane Mother who sits with the rest of the Council, "Might I have a word?"

Soon, the two of them stand on a balcony, far away from the others. "You asked me to assist you many years ago," he tells her angrily, "Your champion was murdered. You wanted justice. Now, you have a new champion who, by all appearances, is a cold blooded killer. Do you care nothing for the loyal man you lost?"

"I did," she tells him, "But now I have a new champion."

"What about Orson Randall? He's still on Earth somewhere. You don't seem concerned."

She looks out over the city, "You're such a fool."

"What?"

"You are John Aman, the Green Mist of Death. Prince of Orphans! You have so much power, yet you chose to stay on Earth to fight for mortals and their idea of justice. You were a useful idiot when it came time for me to have my revenge."

"Revenge?"

"I sent my champion to kill Orson Randall after he ruined the last tournament, but he failed. With you already on Earth, it was easy to contact you and send you after him instead."

"As an assassin?," Green Mist becomes infuriated.

"Yes,... and you failed," Crane Mother leaves him, "It's no matter now. I have Davos and you are free to go your own way."

He stays behind and seethes with fury.

Outside the Heart of Heaven it is morning. Orson and the two investigators of Knightwing LTD pull the metal grate out of the wall in the middle of the desert. "This is gonna smell, isn't it?," Misty asks. "Just breathe through your mouth," Orson tells her as he peers inside. There, he sees a small area of the sewer and a metal door, "Just like I remembered. It leads directly into another room. We'll go through the tunnel and it won't be much longer until we can get topside." "So this is it, right?," Misty asks, "We're about to go into another world?" "Yep," Orson says and drops inside. Colleen says nothing, but merely shrugs and slides in after him. Misty shakes her head and follows. When she drops, she lands on her feet in a cobblestone room.

"So we're not technically on Earth anymore," she takes a look around, "Thought it'd be more dramatic than this."

"Do you think anyone would be expecting us?," Colleen asks.

"Probably not. The tournament will start soon, so almost the entire city is heading toward the arena."

"What if they have guards stationed here in the sewers? I'm sure they're aware of your escape route by now."

"Even if they eventually managed to find out how I escaped, it's been eighty-eight years. I doubt they would remember," Orson says as he goes to the iron door, "We're the only ones down here."

He opens the door, looks inside, and quickly slams it, "Should've seen that coming." Orson pulls his guns and stands ready in front of the women. Colleen pulls her her sword and Misty eyes her, "Should've brought a gun," she mumbles as she takes a fighting stance. The door flies open and the Daughters of Crane Mother rush in with blades drawn.

Orson wastes no time and opens fire with both guns, putting holes straight through the Daughters as they come through. Small clouds of strange dust explode out of them as they get hit and fall over one another while Orson continues to unload. Soon, he empties both clips which clatter to the ground along with the last Daughter who drops on top of the pile.

"Nice," Colleen tells him.

"There's probably more of them," he says as he reloads, "We gotta keep moving."

"If that's the case, you got two guns already," Misty tells him, "Mind giving me one?"

"Help yourself," he says as he hands one to her.

They exit the room and enter a larger section of the sewer, which has meandering tunnels, old pipes, and stone walls and floors. They quietly move in unison, huddled together in case more enemies show up. Misty has Orson's gun drawn as she turns with her back to a tunnel; a Daughter steps out with a knife ready, but Colleen notices and calls out to her, "Misty!". Without missing a beat, she spins around and pistol-whips the Daughter across the jaw. A second leaps out of the tunnel with a sword swing but she ducks underneath it, allowing Orson the opportunity to give her a kick to the face. Another comes out of the shadow with a sword. Colleen pulls her katana out of its sheath just enough to block the blade strike, then she jabs the end of the sheath into the Daughter's stomach and then across the face. Another drops from the ledge above, so Misty turns and fires, sending her back flipping in mid-air before she plummets to the watery floor. The last one comes out of the shadows and attacks, only for Orson to kick her in the ribs, grab the back of her costume, and send her into the stone wall face-first.

They race through the tunnel ahead and eventually come to another grate above them. "This one looks like it leads to the street," Orson explains as he ignites the Iron Fist. "Won't that make more noise?," Colleen asks. "No more than what we've already caused." Outside in the street, a minor explosion sends the grate into the air along with some debris. Orson is the first to get out and looks around, noticing an empty alley. From there, he helps Colleen and they both help Misty. "Easy part's over," he tells them with a sure smile.

The inhabitants of the Heart of Heaven gather once again in the arena. Lei Kung and the rest of the Council sit in a balcony above while Danny and the rest of the Immortal Weapons sit and wait in the basement of the arena with a row of small windows to peer out of and a doorway leading up a set of stairs to the entrance of the inner arena. Danny looks more curious than the others as they watch with the exception of Davos, who prefers to lounge on the far end of the basement as Green Mist eyes him angrily. Crane Mother stands in the middle of the arena and addresses the audience while Fat Cobra and Dog Brother #1 stand on either side; one of Dog Brother's wolves lays along the wall. "Citizens of the Heart of Heaven, I greet you once again," Crane Mother tells the audience, "I hope you had your fill at the banquet because now we begin the first round of this ancient and honorable tournament. I present to you, the first combatants... Fat Cobra and Dog Brother #1!" They cheer for them and both fighters bow in respect to them and then to each other.

"Look closely, Daniel Rand-K'ai," Davos gloats, "You may learn something from your betters."

Danny turns to him, "I'll look forward to breaking that jaw of yours once we get out there."

"Quiet, all of you," Tiger's Beautiful Daughter sneers at them and then mumbles to herself, "Children."

Fat Cobra and Dog Brother #1 both take fighting stances and get ready for the sign to begin.

"Now we'll see that famous speed of yours," Dog Brother #1 says with a smile.

"No,... You'll never see it," Fat Cobra responds gleefully.

On the sideline, a monk raises a large red flag.

"FIGHT!"
