A/N-I DO NOT OWN THE NAKED BROTHERS BAND!

Hey guys!

Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I went on vacation for a few days but now I'm back!

Enjoy the chapter! (:

Nat's POV

"There's something I should also tell you," Rosalina began. "Before all this crazy stuff happened, I was talking to Alex and Juanita. Juanita said some kids at the middle school heard some rumors about you, and they were teasing Alex about it."

I groaned. "Now my brother is getting bullied because of me."

"It's not your fault," She said. "But I think you should talk to him about it. I'm sure he'd be more comfortable with you."

"Rosalina, he likes you too. He is comfortable with you. He'd tell you anything he'd tell me."

"Really?"

"Yeah, he's told me so himself."

"Well he probably wants to see you," Rosalina said, getting up from the bed. "I'll go get him and Juanita."

"No, no, no wait," I said, pulling her back.

"What is it?"

"I don't want you to leave," I admitted, slightly embarrassed. It was true, though. I had this feeling that if Rosalina left, something bad would happen.

"I'll be right back, Nat," She reassured me. "I just have to go get Alex. He's right outside the door."

I nodded, reluctantly letting go of her hand.

She walked over to the door, opened it, and stepped out into the hallway for a few seconds. When she came back, Alex and Juanita were behind her.

Alex ran over to the side of my bed. "Are you okay? What happened?"

I glanced at Rosalina who nodded at me.

I sighed.

I was waiting outside of the apartment building, just like the letter said to. I looked up the street and saw a car pulling over to the curb. I walked over to it and got inside.

"So I see you got my letter."

"Y-Yeah, I did." I couldn't help it. Forget what the letter said, forget whatever I said to Rosalina. I may hate the man, but he still made me nervous. "And I-I want to kn-know if you're serious about it."

He pulled off into traffic, and I instinctively reached for the door handle. "Where are we going?" I asked, trying not to let the panic show in my voice.

"We're just driving around the block," He said.

"You don't need to drive to answer my question."

"What's your question?"

I wanted to roll my eyes, but I knew if I did, he'd probably get irritated. "Are you actually sober?"

When he didn't answer immediately, I looked at him and watched as he reached around the seat, barely paying attention to the road and pulled out a bottle of beer, just like the kind he left behind in the fridge.

I wanted to be surprised but I wasn't. But instead of being surprised, I actually started freaking out. He was driving, and he was drunk. And there were only a few ways this 'drive' would end.

"You know I thought you were the smart one," He said, flipping off the top of the bottle. "But then again, Alex was always the one that kept quiet and out of my way, unlike you." He took a gulp from the bottle and put it in the cup holder.

Now I was getting angry. "That's because I told him to. I was protecting him from you."

Instead of responding, he reached over and punched me in the face, still not keeping an eye on the road. "Shut up!" He screamed.

I reached up and touched my forehead, and when I pulled my hand back it was covered in blood. I glanced forward and only saw the oncoming car for a split second. "Keep your eyes on the road!" I screamed, but it was too late.

"That's what happened," I said. "I don't remember coming in the ambulance, or even getting here. After that, all I remember is waking up here and talking to Rosalina."

"But you're okay other than that right?" Rosalina asked, sitting on the bed and taking my hand.

I nodded. "I'll be fine."

The door opened and Dr. Brennan walked inside. "I think Nat needs to relax for a little while now."

Rosalina moved to get off the bed, but I gripped her hand tighter. "Don't leave," I said quietly.

"It's okay," She told me. "We have to get Juanita home anyway, and then we'll be back."

I still didn't let go.

"I promise," She said, squeezing my hand tightly and then letting go. "We'll be back later, Dr. Brennan."

Rosalina's POV

We walked out of Nat's room and back out to the waiting room. "We are going back aren't we? We're not leaving him," Alex asked worriedly.

"Of course we're going back. We just need to get Juanita home. I don't want her parents to worry about her," I said, as we got into Jesse's car that was parked in the parking lot.

"Sorry I didn't come in guys, I meant to I just got sidetracked," Jesse said.

"It's okay Jesse, he's fine," I reassured her. "Just a little freaked out."

"Oh good, so I'm taking you home?" She asked, looking at Juanita in the rearview mirror.

After we dropped Juanita off back at her house, Jesse drove Alex and I back to the hospital. "Are you going to come in this time?" Alex asked as she pulled up to the emergency room doors.

"Yeah, I'll come in, in a little bit."

Alex and I got out of the car and walked inside to Nat's room again. When we walked into his room, of course he wasn't sleeping; he looked like he was forcing himself to stay awake.

"Nat," I said, as Alex and I each walked to opposite sides of the bed. "Just sleep."

"I can't," He said, rubbing his eyes.

"Really? You look like you could use some sleep right now."

"I'm fine."

"Nat, you can't seriously force yourself to stay awake the entire time you're here," Alex said.

"Watch me."

"Nat," Alex and I said together.

"Get some sleep," I said, taking his hand again. "We'll stay right here."

"You promise?" He asked, settling back against the bed.

"Promise," I told him. "I'll take care of Jesse and Dr. Brennan. Don't worry."

Alex and I waited in silence until Nat fell asleep, and when he did, I looked at Alex. "Are you hungry Alex? I know we didn't get to have dinner or anything."

Alex shook his head. "I'm okay."

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I just….I don't get why Nat would get in a car with our dad."

I sighed, knowing I couldn't tell him. It was Nat's place to tell him, not mine. "I don't know. Let's just be glad he's okay, for the most part."

"What do you think will happen to our dad?" Alex asked suddenly, sort of surprising me. He didn't usually talk to me about his dad very often.

"I-I don't know. He'll probably be taken to jail once he's well enough."

"Do you think I should visit him? Am I supposed to?"

"You should do whatever you feel you should do. Don't push yourself to go see him if you don't want to. But don't force yourself not to either. He is still your dad, and it's okay to be worried about him."

He grinned in a way that kind of reminded me of Nat. "Thanks Rosalina."

Just as he said that, the door opened and Jesse stepped into the room. "Hey guys," She said, walking over to the bed. "How is he?"

"We finally got him to go to sleep," Alex said.

"For the most part he's okay," I added. "He's got a cut above his eye, but that's not because of the crash. Dr. Brennan said he should be fine, but I haven't really been able to ask him how bad Nat really is."

Jesse nodded. "I'll go talk to Dr. Brennan." She started walking towards the door when Alex said, "Wait!"

I watched as Alex slid off the bed and walked over to her. "Will you take me to get something to eat?"

"Sure, Alex." She led the way out of the room, and just as he was about to walk out, Alex looked over his shoulder and winked at me.

I smiled, knowing that he was only doing it to keep Jesse busy. He and I both knew that Jesse and Dr. Brennan talking couldn't be a good thing.

"Rosie…?"

I looked over at Nat, who seemed to be half awake. "How're you feeling?"

"Mmm…I feel like Dr. Brennan is going to haunt me for the rest of my life."

I laughed. "If you keep this up, he just might."

"Hey Rosalina?"

"Yeah, Nat?"

"What are we going to tell the guys?"

"I don't know... but I think you should tell them something soon. I don't think you can hide this one from them this time."

A/N-What do you think Nat will do? Will he tell the guys?
