The Bride plays with her hair while Danny pulls his mask on in preparation, eliciting a smile from her. Soon, they square off, each taking a battle stance. The monk raises a red flag and shouts, "Fight!". Danny wastes no time and rushes toward her, throwing a wild punch, which she avoids by bending completely backwards far enough that she can place her palms against the ground and do a full hand stand, kicking Danny in the back of his head and sending him stumbling forward; then she casually stands back on her feet.

She giggles in an odd manner as she places her fingers on her lips, "Je je je je je."

"That laugh's starting to get on my nerves," he comes toward her again.

As he swings, she leans back again, rotates her torso around his arm and comes back with a palm strike against his cheek. She continues the offensive with her long nails, but Danny recovers in time to block her at the forearm. She continues, going for several quick strikes, aiming mostly at his eyes or neck, so Danny backpeddles as he blocks the strikes before grabbing both of her wrists and pinning them at her sides. She responds by kneeing him in the chin. Danny angrily throws her into the air, but she twirls around and lands perfectly on her feet. Danny launches himself forward and lands a kick to her abdomen, sending her to the ground where she curls her entire body back and stands up straight. He comes at her again but she performs the splits to duck, then swivels around on her palms for a sweep kick; Danny does a reverse somersault to get away. She springs into the air from that position and flips, bringing the heel of her foot across Danny's face. He falls, lands on the palm of his hand, and gives her a kick to the base of her spine. She falls forward but uses the momentum to flip onto her feet, then spins around in a kick that Danny barely avoids.

Crane Mother watches the fight angrily while Lei Kung seems pleased while the Bride of Nine Spiders tries to trip him up with ankle attacks and he blocks with his shins or steps away. While he is distracted, she strikes him twice in the ribs and once in the chest, which stuns him for a moment as his body shakes. She then slams both palms against his chest and pulls back, revealing long strands of grey webbing from her fingertips and palms that connect to his chest. She turns and pulls the webs in two different directions, which sends Danny spinning into the air and slams him back to the ground. He recovers soon enough to roll to the side and rise to his feet. The Bride is already facing him and opens her mouth as a swarm of spiders bursts out of her. Danny shouts and starts swatting the spiders away from his face and chest as he retreats. She leaps into the air and gives him a kick to the chest, which forces him on the ground again.

"You poor thing," she says as she unbuttons her top, "You never stood a chance, did you?"

Danny looks up with a baffled expression, "What the?"

As she pulls her top down, she reveals an empty chest cavity filled with crawling spiders that leap or otherwise, crawl down her body and quickly reach the ground where they scuttle toward Danny and begin to swarm him. "Oh God!," he shouts and begins to frantically roll around in the dirt as they continue to cover him and quickly build webs over him. The Bride giggles as she buttons her top again and the spiders continue to cover him in webbing, spinning faster and faster they crawl over him. He fights to no avail, then tries to pull the webbing apart but as he does so, he gets covered with even more webs and restrained even tighter. Soon, they crawl away, leaving a man-sized cocoon. The Bride of Nine Spiders saunters over to him and stoops down, "I will not kill you but by the time I'm finished, you'll wish I had."

A glow begins to build inside the cocoon and the Bride of Nine Spiders sits back curiously. A moment later, there's an explosion which destroys the webbing and sends her flailing across the arena where she hits the ground. Danny rises to his feet and pulls off the remaining webs draped over his shoulder, "I hate spiders." The audience cheers and Crane Mother seems much less excited when she announces, "The Iron Fist has won!" Servants come to help her up and Danny sighs.

"I fight Davos next," Hua paces angrily in the basement area, "Where is he?"

"Crane Mother sent him on an errand," Green Mist says ominously, "I wonder what it is."

"It's not important. All I care about is if he's back in time for our fight."

Crane Mother stands in front of the Council's section, "My apologies," she begins, "I've sent Davos on an errand. He shall return shortly and we can continue the tournament."

"What sort of errand?," Lei Kung asks, "And why send Davos? Why not send one of your other servants?"

"I am afraid that will remain confidential for now, king," she says as she bows.

"You have delayed us two times too many," one of the rulers snarls, "The Heart of Heaven will disappear soon and we must have a victor!"

"I assure you, this tournament is going as planned."

Misty, Colleen, and Orson pull the garments over their Earth clothes in a nearby alley. "This should help us blend in better," he tells them, but at that moment, a group of Crane Mother's Daughters rush into the entrance of the alley. "I really need to stop doing that," Orson groans and leaps into battle with the private detectives following.

Misty kicks off the wall and her foot lands against a forehead. Orson fires a shot that takes out another. Colleen raises her katana to block the strike of a Daughter's sword. They lock blades until Colleen shoves the Daughter against the wall and slams the butt of the sword into her face. Orson leaps between two more and performs the splits, taking both of them to the ground. "Let's go," he shouts and leads the women out of the alley, then down the street. They turn the corner and an arrow narrowly avoids Orson's face as it sticks to the wall in front of him. They turn and see the street blocked off with a row of archers clad in black armor with quivers full of arrows and black bows. The archers pull arrows out of their quivers in unison and take aim, so the group turns to run in the opposite direction, but freeze once they see another figure approaching.

Colleen and Misty go wide-eye and drop their guards. Orson, meanwhile, stares at them curiously and then back at their new opponent. The figure approaches slow and the two investigators can hardly believe what they see. It is a warped, surreal image that gradually comes into focus as their enemy walks toward them. Davos smiles at the two women and spreads his arms mockingly.

"We meet again, Daughters of the Dragon."
